"Any sign of Supergirl?" Alex asked.
"No ma'am, she's vanished."
"And indomitable?"
"Also vanished."
"Ma'am." Rose said rushing into the room. "Robson has just reported in and the kids have gone."
"What?" Alex asked.
"Apparently a group including MJ, Alex and Martin went to an escape room. When they didn't come out an hour later Robson went in and the venue was empty. The team are going through everything but at the moment they are missing." Rose reported. "We tried tracking their phones but nothing. Last location was the escape room."
"What do you want us to do?" Vasquez asked.
"We don't have any spare resources." Alex said. "But they may be trying to use Alex." She added feeling the pressure as her world seemed to collapse round her.
"What about our friend at the FBI?" Vasquez asked.
"No harm in asking." Alex said. "But in the mean time, tell Robson to leave no stone unturned."
"Yes ma'am." Rose said.
"What do you need me to lead on?" Vasquez asked Alex.
"I need you to ensure my decisions are right." Alex said.
"You've got it."

As the teenage Alex started to come round she saw the other teens lying on the floor in a room she didn't recognise. Looking round she didn't see anyone else so moved to the others and started to wake them.
"Alex?" MJ asked opening his eyes.
"You okay?" Alex asked.
"I guess. Where are we?" MJ asked.
"No idea. Not where we were. And if my watch is right, we were out of it for five hours."
"Have you activated your beacon?" MJ asked.
"Yes. But nothing."
"They could be blocking the signal." MJ said.
"Or Indomitable won." Alex replied, her fear written over her face.
"Hey, your mom won't lose to him." MJ said as Martin started to come round.
"Alex? MJ?" He asked sitting up.
"You okay?" MJ asked.
"Yeah. What happened?"
"Not sure." MJ said as they heard another groan moments before the dazed looking Matt sat up.
"You okay?" He asked looking at Alex.
"Kinda." She replied as Matt looked round just Mel came to.
"Have we been kidnapped?" Mel asked.
"Looks like it." MJ replied.
"Then why are you so calm?" Matt asked.
"Not a new experience." MJ shrugged as he started to look round the room for an escape.
Matt opened his mouth to reply only to realise he had no idea what to say, so instead remained silent until Alex squeezed his hand.
As she did so Matt noticed her hand seemed okay. Confused he started to ask.
"How come your-" His question was cut short though as the door opened and Indomitable strode in causing the teens not already standing to scramble to their feet.
"You here to save us?" Matt asked confused.
"In a way." Indomitable smiled. "I am here to reveal the truth. What you do with that is up to you. Well technically it isn't. I can make you go down any path I choose. But I will give you a chance to pick the right path."
"You really are a freak." Mel said.
"Don't worry, you will come round. I have promised your father." Indomitable smiled before his expression hardened and he went on. "You can call me a freak, but at least I am human." He said before looking at Alex. "You have no place here. They don't know who you are, or should I say, what you are. But they will. Your mother won't be coming to save you. Soon she'll be dead, hopefully killed by you. But I am getting ahead of myself." Indomitable said. "You, you are my final piece. You are going to be so important. But first we need to strip everything away from you. Let's start with your friends. Well obviously they aren't your friends as you have lied to them the entire time." He said pulling out a gun and shooting Alex.
"No!" Matt screamed.
"How are you not dead?" Mel asked seeing Alex was still standing.
"Your friend is not a human. She is an alien. Like all aliens she is a liar. And not really your friend." Indomitable explained before roughly grabbing Alex and forcing her to turn and face the others. "See there the look of betrayal and soon to be disgust. You may have corrupted the other two, but those two, when the shock wears off, they will hate you. Especially after you have shown your true colours. But first we need to make you angry." He smiled nodding to someone through a window. A moment later the room was bathed in red light. Before Alex could react she was thrown across the room.
"Leave her alone." MJ cried running towards her. In response Indomitable turned and breathed out sending MJ flying towards a wall. Trying to protect her cousin Alex put a forcefield round MJ who slowed to a safe speed just as Indomitable turned and walked to Alex before he kicked her.
"Protect yourself." MJ called out to Alex as the others desperately looked round for something they could use as a weapon. Seeing nothing obvious Matt started to tear a panel off the wall.
As Alex tried to bite back the pain she was feeling Indomitable looked down at Alex.
"How do you like pain?" Indomitable asked Alex. "I hope you hate it, because you are going to feel a lot more of it." He said as suddenly he felt something on his back. Turning he saw Matt standing behind him a sparking cable in his hands.
"Yeah, electricity doesn't effect me." Indomitable said to Matt as he raised his arm to punch Matt, but as his arm flew through the air it hit an invisible barrier. "Looks like you do have some fight in you." Indomitable said turning towards Alex and kicking her again just as they heard a large crashing moments before a giant figure walked into the room.
"Hey Cheeseball." Lobo grinned. Seeing how battered she was looking though he turned to Indomitable and asked. "You do that?"
"Finally." Indomitable said walking towards Lobo. "Thought you were meant to be protecting her." He added as electricity sparked from his fingers before pointing at Lobo and hitting him with a blast of electricity. "Just because you can't die, doesn't mean you can't be incapacitated." Indomitable said as Lobo dropped to his knees, smoke coming off his body as Indomitable kept firing electricity into his body. Moments later three more men entered the room and fired weapons at Lobo who fell to the ground motionless.
"Take him to Delta Site." Indomitable ordered the guards who smacked various restraints on Lobo before dragging him away. Indomitable then turned back to Alex and said. "Now you see what you are up against. There is no surviving. But that doesn't mean I won't enjoy destroying you."
"Leave her alone." Martin said.
"She isn't one of you. She is an alien." Indomitable said. "She shouldn't even be on this planet. At the end of the day she looks down on humans."
"No she doesn't" MJ said.
"I'll prove it." Indomitable said waving his hands, causing Alex to fly to the far wall hitting it with a sickening thud. "Get to your feet or I will kill them." He said to the teen who bit down her pain and shakily got to her feet.
Indomitable then held out both arms, one pointing at the larger group of teens and one at Alex. Moments later large spikes protruded from his hands. "She has a choice. Save herself or save you." Just then the spikes flew out of his hands towards the two groups.
As the spears heading for the larger group of teens stopped in mid air, MJ turned to Alex and saw a spear sticking out of her stomach.
"No!" MJ shouted.
Following MJ's gaze Indomitable went over to Alex and pulled the spear from her stomach. "I guess she did save you." He commented to the group before looking at Alex and saying. "Don't worry, you can't hide your true form forever." He then walked out of the room looking at one of the men in the corner and saying. "She's all yours Dr Pickford."

As Kara came to, she opened her eyes only to be met by pitch blackness, making her wonder if she had in fact opened her eyes.
Slowly she ignored the pain and tried to move her arms, first running her hands on the cold damp ground she was lying on, then reaching out, feeling another cold surface to her sides.
Lifting her arms despite the searing pain she felt another cold surface above her and she felt her panic begin to rise.

"Alex we have another problem." Vasquez said.
"What?"
"The new recruits that are doing survival training."
"Diz's group?" Alex asked.
"Yes, their trainers missed the scheduled check in. Following protocol we attempted contact."
"And?"
"On the third attempt they responded. They said there was an accident and they have injuries but say they are okay and can make their own way back."
"You believe them?"
"No, especially as they didn't use the correct cipher. But it is not exactly like we have spare resources at the moment." Vasquez said.
"Where was the last contact?" Alex asked.
"Verified contact, about ninety miles out of the city, but the message we just had said they were twenty miles further east." Vasquez replied.
"I can go." Ruby said approaching them. "I mean its not like I am achieving much here. And you won't let me out in the field …"
"Getting you out alone may be their plan." Alex said.
"She wouldn't be alone." Wildcat said approaching the group. "And I am going regardless."
"Fine, but don't get caught." Alex warned.
