"Supergirl, you really are a disappointment. I thought you'd last longer against him." Indomitable said as Lobo dragged Supergirl into the room Indomitable was waiting in. "Or then again, maybe I enhanced him." He smiled as Lobo deposited Supergirl by Indomitable's feet. "This could have been you, but you were too weak. But Lobo, he had so much potential, well he didn't, but then I fixed him. The new modified Lobo will be the prefect killer. I will have created the perfect killer." Hos words annoying Lobo who asked.
"Yer taking credit?"
"You aren't acting like a mindless zombie." Indomitable commented as Kara asked from the floor.
"What happened to the plan?"
"He took credit." Lobo pointed out.
"So?" Supergirl asked getting to her feet. "You said you wanted him to think you were controlled."
"That was boring. Can't control the Main Man." Lobo grinned.
"But the readings they showed … " One of Indomitable's men said.
"No matter, more fun for me." Indomitable said before looking at Supergirl. "Destroying you will bring me so much enjoyment."
"It is time to end this." Supergirl said.
"I am glad you have accepted your death." Indomitable said.
"I'm not dying." Supergirl said.
"You really are delusional." Indomitable smiled. "I have already proven you can't beat me."
"There's always a way. And this time I am not alone."
"Yes, you have sided with a homicidal alien." Indomitable said. "And yet you call me a monster." He added before attacking Supergirl.

"Good news, bad news." Vasquez said approaching Alex who watched the Supergirl fight.
"Diz?" She asked.
"No sorry, nothing yet." Vasquez replied.
"So what is the good news?" Alex asked, surprised there was any.
"Your plan worked. Team Ventura placed a tracker on the meta and now one super-enhanced freak contained in the cell."
"It worked?" Alex asked surprised.
"Yes."
"So, what is the bad news?"
"Team Ventura took multiple injuries. No one died, but McGrath is in surgery. The others have less serious injuries but won't be returning to the fight for weeks. We don't have the manpower to capture the others in a similar way."
"What about DNA? You think they are so enhanced they share something Frax could lock onto?"
"Don't know. But we could get a sample of DNA." Vasquez said as Alex winced when she saw her sister crash through a building.

As Matt and Alex entered the room where the others were waiting MJ rushed over them.
"Alex." MJ said hugging her as his sister turned off the TV. "You okay?" MJ asked.
"I guess." She said as Martin approached them. Pulling away from MJ she then hugged Martin before stepping back and looking at Mel before saying.
"I'm sorry I lied to you about what I was."
"I'm not going to lie, when I found out I was hurt that I hadn't figured it out. But seeing what that loon did to you, I get why you didn't want to tell me. But I promise you I'm not like that."
"I know." Alex said.
"You okay?" Mel asked looking at Alex's stomach, half expecting to see a hole.
"I'm fine. All healed." Alex said before looking at her cousin. "Any news on Diz?"
"No." Kara said before adding. "But what did I say about you having bigger things to worry about?" She then paused and looked carefully at her cousin before adding. "You should sit down, you still don't look great."

"What the hell were they doing?" Wildcat asked as he and Ruby drove through the desert following a set of footprints that they had found. "Why the hell are the four of them randomly marching in the desert."
"They got really lost?"
"Don't buy it. Rice is good at navigation. So why'd they do something so random?"
"Mind control?" Ruby asked. "Or maybe they thought they were the orders."
"To march round a desert."
"I mean it isn't completely unbelievable Alex would order it."
"True, but I don't like it." Wildcat said.
"Neither do I." Ruby said before seeing something glint. "Stop the car."
Obediently Wildcat hit the brakes and the moment it had stopped Ruby jumped out.
"Is that a syringe?" Wildcat asked walking up to her.
"Yeah, empty but no blood on it. It's from the DEO med kit, it's a sedative." Ruby said examining it. "And look here, the prints are now three pairs with one being dragged."
"There's blood as well." Wildcat said noticing a small amount of splatter on the rocks. "Let's go." He added hurrying to the car, quickly followed by Ruby who got in and drew her gun ready for the worst.
"You know this could be a trap to get you?" Wildcat said.
"Or it is Diz in trouble." Ruby countered.
"So either way I tick of a Danvers." Wildcat said driving faster than was safe, leading to a very bumpy ride as Ruby did her best to keep her eyes on the prints.
"There!" Ruby said suddenly seeing two figures in the distance.
"Can you make out which two they are?" Wildcat asked driving towards them.
"No, not yet … Yes, it's Diz and Rice." Ruby said. "But it looks like they are dragging the others." She said as Wildcat started to slow down before skidding to a stop in front of the duo.
"Diz? You okay?" Wildcat asked jumping out of the car.
"Kar? Is she okay?" Diz questioned.
"Um, yeah. She's fine." Wildcat said wondering why Diz sounded so panicked.
"You promise?" Diz asked looking at Wildcat.
"Yeah man. You okay?" Wildcat asked.
"You sure Kar is okay?"
"She's fine." Wildcat said as Ruby went to the unconscious duo.
"I wouldn't waste my time on them." Rice said just as Ruby took in how battered and bruise the cadets they were dragging were.
"What the hell happened?" Ruby asked.
"Can we discuss that on the way back? We need to go before Thumper gets here." Rice said.
"Thumper?" Ruby asked.
"Short version, they work for Indomitable." He said pointing to the two unconscious trainees. "And Indomitable wants him." He added pointing at Diz. "And I have lost way too much blood." He added pointing at his leg.
"Let's go." Wildcat said.

"You really are weak." Indomitable said as he pulled Supergirl out of the rubble she was buried under before picking her up by the throat. He then touched her forehead and dropped her to the ground.
Moments later Supergirl saw images of her family dying and became paralysed by fear and sadness.
"So weak." Indomitable smiled as tears ran down Supergirl's face. The tracks standing out agains the dust and grime that caked her face. Indomitable then looked at Lobo. "Maybe you'll offer more of a challenge."
"I'll put your insides on your outsides." Lobo smiled before stretching his neck just as Indomitable held out his arms and fired spikes at Lobo.
"Yer, don't need a toothpick." Lobo said as the spikes bounced off him. Picking one up he javelined back at Indomitable who waved it away before hitting Lobo with electricity from his hands.
"All so weak." Indomitable said walking towards the smouldering Lobo. When he reached him Indomitable stopped firing the electricity and instead touched Lobo's forehead implanting a nightmare. "Maybe I won't stop with the planet." Indomitable said as Lobo looked into the distance.
"You killed the fishies." Lobo suddenly roared before unleashing a raw attack on Indomitable, who not expecting the ferocity of the attack ended up flying into wall, which crumbled on top of him. Still dazed Indomitable felt something grab his ankle before being dragged out and finding Lobo launching a sustained and brutal attack.

"What the hell is happening?" Alex asked in the DEO control room.
"I don't know. Supergirl's mic picked up Lobo saying something to do with fish and then he went crazy." Rose said. "But in this frenzied state he's doing pretty well against Indomitable."
"Where's Supergirl?"
"Down there. She seems frozen, but her heart rate is through the roof."
"Give me a private link." Alex said.
Nodding Vasquez hit some buttons before passing Alex an ear piece.
"It's just you two on." Vasquez said. "And it is fully encrypted."
"Kara listen to me, she is okay." Alex said. "Indomitable can mess with your mind, it's not real." Not getting a response she went on. "Alex is safe, but she needs you to fight. You need to believe you can do this as much as we do." Just hearing laboured breathing she changed tact and said. "If you don't snap out of it, Alex is going to go down there and try to save you. If she does that Indomitable will get her so you need to snap out of it for Alex."
"Alex?" Kara mumbled.
"That's right, Alex needs you." Her sister said. "Come on focus on Alex, think about your best memory and how much you want to protect her."
"Alex?" Kara asked.
"Alex is fine, but you need to stop Indomitable getting to her."
"Not real?" Kara asked.
"No, he made it up. Alex is fine." Her sister assured her. "But he does want her so you need to focus and fight. Fight for Alex."
"Where is he?" Kara asked still sounding uncertain.
"Four blocks North."
"I will stop him." Supergirl said angrily as she got to her feet.
"Nice work." Vasquez said.
"I don't know, I have just got her to return to a fight she can't win." Alex pointed out as Rose called over.
"Director, it's Diz."
