"Alex is in the infirmary and stable, but still not woken. Kara is in a iso cell." Vasquez said. "The teams are still out there shutting the facility down and rescuing the prisoners."
"I want Krundy under supervision." Alex said.
"You don't trust him?"
"No, he knew way too much." Alex said as her daughter entered the office.
"Mom? Are they okay?"
"I don't know. Something happened to Kara and she attacked Alex. They are both stable but unconscious." The older Alex said.
"Can I wait with Alex?" The younger Kara asked her mother.
"Of course. Let me know when she wakes up." Her mother said before adding. "As soon as Diz has been cleared I'll send him in."
"What do you mean cleared?" Kara asked confused.
"He got a little banged up on the mission. It's nothing serious and he'll be fine."
"He was on the mission?"
"Yeah, protecting Alex. He can fill you in, I need to check on your aunt."

"How is she?" Diz asked walking into the room the teenage Alex was in.
"Still out of it." Kara said looking up. "Are you okay?"
"Possible concussion and a couple of cracked ribs." He said sitting next to Kara.
"Should you be in bed?"
"Rules are not to leave the infirmary." Diz shrugged as MJ rushed into the room.
"Is she okay?" He asked.
"Hope so." Kara said.
"What about aunt Kara?"
"Locked away."
"Why?" MJ asked.
"She attacked Alex." Diz explained.
"What? Why?" MJ asked.
"Don't know for sure, I overheard people talking about brainwashing." Diz said. "And she did look pocessed."
"You were there?" MJ asked. "Did aunt Kara do that to you?"
"No, Alex did."
"Why?" Kara asked confused.
"Trying to protect me." Diz explained.
"Should I get the doctor in? I think your possible concussion is a definite concussion." Kara said.
"I'm fine." Diz assured her. "Your aunt was attacking her, but Lena gave Alex a hidden weapon, but if I was too close when she used it, it would have killed me. So she sent me flying to a safe distance."
"And then used the weapon on aunt Kara?" MJ asked.
"I guess. I'd been knocked out by then."
"You sure you should be in here?" Kara asked frowning.
"I'm fine. Besides they are kinda maxed out over there, so you'll end up keeping a better eye on me than they would."

"How is she?" Steve asked approaching the older Alex, who stood watching her sister through a forcefield.
"Stable."
"But?" Steve asked.
"Whatever happened to her caused her to attack Alex."
"Is Alex okay?"
"Still unconscious. Neither of them have woken up yet."
"Do you have any idea what they did to her?"
"The facility was designed to brain wash. We are still gathering more information, but they took anyone they could find, wiped their minds or forced them to be accepting then sold them into slavery." Alex summarised.
"So what's the plan?" Steve asked.
"Until they wake up and see what the damage is I don't know." Alex said. "But when we are through this Kara is going to have a lot of guilt."
"We'll help her through it." Steve said. "In the mean time anything I can do?"
"Not really." Alex said as Vasquez called for her. "Sorry, I have to go."
"Of course."

As Diz, MJ and the younger Kara sat in Alex's room Kara suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of fear and dread just as she saw her aunt trying to kill her. As she did she heard a voice, dripping in venom as it gave threats.
Snapping out of the vision she looked round the room and noticed both Diz and MJ were looking pale.
"Did you see that?" Kara asked the others.
"Yeah." MJ said.
"Everyone out." Diz suddenly shouted.
"Wh-"
"Now." He barked pulling Kara to her feet. As they left the room he shouted at the nearby tech. "You need to put up a forcefield."
Knowing from his tone now was not the time to ask questions Vasquez moved past the technician to the controls and erected a forcefield round the room before asking. "What's going on?"
"Sorry, I didn't mean to yell." Diz apologised. "But I think that Worldkiller thing is in Alex."
"What?" The older Alex asked as she came into the room.
"The fight with aunt Kara, well after, it transferred to Alex." The younger Kara said.
"Which you know how?" Her mother asked confused.
"I think Alex shared the memory." The younger Kara said.
"Is that why Alex won't wake up?" MJ asked.
"I don't know." His mother said, trying to figure out what had happened.

"Alex?" The older Kara asked sitting up and looking round.
"Easy." The older Alex said from the other side of the forcefield.
"Is she okay? I tried to kill her. But you know that, that is why I am locked in here. Where's Alex?"
"Infirmary." Her sister said.
"What did I do to her?" Kara asked, her voice full of self loathing.
"I'm not sure it was you." Alex said.
"What-" Kara started.
"Kara, I know this is hard, but I need to to tell me everything that happened. It is the fastest way to help Alex."
"Okay." Kara said.
"Take me through everything." Alex instructed.
"Umm, I was walking home and I heard a scream. I went to investigate, but when I entered the building something knocked me out. I woke up in a cell with no powers. There were others there and they were scared. They kept getting taken to the conditioning room. I tried to stop them being taken, but without powers I lost every time." Kara said. "Then it was my turn. I was put in a machine and there was so much pain and then, then nothing. No, not nothing. That's when it happened."
"What?"
"They had Worldkiller-1 and it entered my body. Then there was more pain and I could feel myself loosing control. I don't know how long it went on, but it felt like I was in the machine for hours. And at one point I lost and Worldkiller-1 had complete control over me. I couldn't do anything. I tried to hold on, I though when it slept I could take control, but then something happened and they rushed me, well my body out of the lab and down the tunnels. Then I, well it saw Alex. I could feel so much hatred, but I couldn't do anything and I was killing Alex." Kara said tears running down her face. "I tried so hard to stop it, but I couldn't do anything. Alex was pleading with me to do something, but I was too weak. Then suddenly there was a bright light and pain and then I was here." Kara said before looking at her sister and asking. "How badly did I hurt her."
"She has no wounds." Alex said. "Can you sense Worldkiller-1 now?"
"No." Kara said causing her sister to release the forcefield. "What are you doing? How do you know it is out of me?" Kara asked backing away from her sister. "How did you get it out?"
"I didn't." Alex said.
"I don't understand." Kara said.
"We think after the fight Worldkiller-1 transferred to Alex." Her sister said
"Worldkiller is in her?" Kara asked.
"We think so."
"You think?"
"She hasn't woken up yet, but she did project some images that Kara, Diz and MJ saw. They are pretty sure Worldkiller-1 are in her."
"This is my fault. How do we get it out?"
"We don't know." Alex confessed. "I have an idea, but it is risky and you may not like it?"
"What is it?"
"Max." Alex said.
"You mean go into her dreams?"
"Kind of. Yeah."
"Can I see her?"
"Sure."
"Wait, are you sure it is safe for me to be out there?"
"Everything looks normal."

"Aunt Kara?" MJ asked when he saw his aunt enter the room.
"How is she?" Kara asked looking through the window at her unconscious daughter.
"No change." Her niece said.
"I'm going to talk to Max." The older Alex said before glancing at her sister and adding. "Remember you need rest." She then looked at Diz and added. "So do you."
"We'll keep an eye on them." Her daughter said as an alarm went off in the room the teenage Alex was in.
"What's happening?" The older Kara asked.
"I'll be back." The older Alex said leaving rushing over to the medical team who were trying to stop Alex crashing.

"What's wrong with her?" Kara asked when her sister returned.
"Whatever is happening in there is causing physical issues, such as the heart rate spike we just saw."
"So something really bad is happening in there?" Kara asked.
"You have more experience with Worldkiller than I do, but I'd say so."
"We have to get her out of there. I'm flying you to Max, it will be quicker." The older Kara said.
"You are in no cond-" Alex started.
"It's not negotiable." Kara said grabbing hold of her sister and disappearing.
