Baratta jennifer - They'll be needed again.

"Just the person I was looking for." Lena said as Kara and Alex walked into the older Alex's lounge where there was already a large group.

"Were we meeting?" Kara asked confused.

"No. And not you. Alex." Lena clarified.

"Did you forget you were meeting?" Kara asked her daughter.

"No." Alex said.

"That is a trait you haven't passed on." Lena smiled at Kara. "Although forgetfulness is."

"What?" Kara asked confused.

"I had the tuition fee letter from MIT yesterday, what I didn't have was a bill for accommodation." Lena said. The comment causing Alex's eyes to go wide as she remembered the forgotten email in her inbox.

"I forgot." Alex said.

"Damn it." MJ said realising he had also ignored the email from BU.

"We got it the day Indomitable took us." Mel recalled.

"And then forgot about it." MJ said.

"Well you have had more important things to worry about." Lena said. "Which is why I called the housing office, well my PA called the housing office. But there is nothing left. So I purchased a house."

"Sorry what?" MJ asked.

"In Cambridge. It has four rooms and if you guys would like to use it, you are welcome to it." Lena said. "Assuming Alex is happy with that."

"Me?" The younger Alex asked.

"Well yes. It is you I am sponsoring. And therefore the house is technically for you."

"Thank you." The teenage Alex hugging Lena.

"You are most welcome." Lena replied as the younger Kara asked MJ.

"Have you even checked if you passed the year?"

"Of course I passed." MJ said before conceding. "But I should probably log in and check."

"Have any of you checked?" The older Alex asked noticing the four younger teens had started looking at their phones.

"We kinda got distracted." MJ said.

"Plus it is first year so you can't really fail." Mel said.

"I remember being a lot more stressed than this at the end of my first year." The older Kara said looking at the teens who were all looking over each other shoulder's as they logged into the various academic portals.

"Are you kidding me?" MJ asked seeing the contents of his cousin's screen. "How?"

"I mean she did study." Martin pointed out looking at Alex's phone. "And MIT is on a 5 scale not 4."

"Yeah, but that still isn't human." MJ said before looking at her cousin and adding. "No offence."

"I hate to agree with MJ on this, but maybe you could have done less studying." Mel joined in.

"You got a 5.0 GPA?" The older Kara asked seeing the phone as the older Alex asked her sister.

"You sure she's yours? Your grades were never that high."

"Not funny." Kara said as she hugged her daughter. "I'm proud of you." She added to her daughter.

"Have you passed?" Diz asked MJ.

"Yes." MJ said. "Why are you doubting me?"

"Maybe the number of times you drunk dialled me from your dorm." His sister countered.

"Drunk?" His mother asked.

"Can we focus on the fact I passed, we all passed?" MJ asked.

"This calls for food." The older Kara said.

"I'll go order." The older Alex said walking into the kitchen, quickly followed by her sister and Lena.

"Thank you." Kara said as she followed Lena to the kitchen.

"You don't need to thank me." Lena said.

"But as grateful as I am that you have done this, aren't you maxed out with the fallout of Bell and the meta detector?"

"They are problems I can't solve, Alex's housing situation I can solve."

"I may be able to help." The older Alex said. "With the meta detector."

"How?" Lena asked.

"Some of the files we decrypted have the schematics of our detectors. We are assuming how they fooled it will be on there as well. Right now we are prioritising files covering the babies, but you are welcome to see all the other files. Vasquez was sending them over tonight."

"Thank you." Lena said.

"Have you found any information on the babies?" Kara asked.

"Nothing that will help." Alex said. "But we will keep looking."

"Sorry for flying off yesterday." Kara said.

"You did what you needed to do." Alex said. "Are you feeling better?"

"Less lost."

"Well that's a start." Lena said as Alex continued to order. "But I you sure. Your celebration of Alex's grade seemed a little muted."

"I'm trying not to put too much pressure on her. So I am toning down the pep."

"I think for a 5.0 GPA you can be more peppy." Lena said.

"Really?"

"Yes." Lena replied.

"She's right." Alex said looking up from her phone. "Order placed. I ordered enough for Steve as well."

"Is he coming?" Kara asked.

"I'm sure he will when you invite him." Her sister countered.

"Okay." Kara said firing off a message as Lena said.

"Something is bothering me."

"What?" Alex asked.

"How did Mel's family know of her involvement?" Lena asked.

"What?"

"Mel got cut off. So they knew she passed on information. But how did they know?"

"It may not be related to the files." Alex said. "I mean by staying here she has picked sides. And the letter was addressed here so they know she is staying here."

"But it could be related to the files." Lena pressed. "I mean timing wise, the files make sense."

"Yes, which would mean a mole or they were watching the property where Mel found the files." Alex said. "I have to make some calls." She added walking off.

Seeing Kara's frown Lena said. "Alex will figure it out and no matter what the answer is we will make sure you and all the kids are safe."

"Thank you." Kara smiled weakly.

"You really okay?" Lena asked.

"No. But I am getting there. Last night helped."

"I'm going to get Sam over for a weekend, we should all go out and have fun." Lena said.

"I'm not sure I am up to your level of fun yet." Kara said.

"Well, consider it practice." Lena said.

"For what?"

"Your new start."

"What new start?"

"Living like Supergirl acts."

"What?" Kara asked lost.

"Supergirl jumps in head first to fight issues." Lena said.

"Not always." Kara said.

"But your natural instinct is to jump in head first?"

"Well, yes."

"So, now as Kara, when you have a problem you are going to confront it head on, rather than pretending you are okay, when you clearly aren't. And I know you will always try to put others first, but if you aren't okay, you can't do that."

"Have you been talking to Eliza?" Kara asked confused.

"Should I have done?"

"She gave me a similar lecture."

"Well perhaps you will listen." Lena said.

"Okay, they are searching Mel's father's apartment for bugs and electronics. Same is true at the DEO. We'll figure it out." Alex said walking back into the kitchen. She then looked at her sister and added. "You need to not get stressed by this."

"Kinda hard, but I'll try." Kara said grabbing some chocolate and heading back to the lounge.

"Where's Alex?" Kara asked noticing her daughter was missing.

"She got a call from Matt's mother." Her niece explained.

"Is he okay?" Kara asked frowning.

"We don't have super hearing." MJ reminded her. "And Alex insisted on leaving the room to take the call." He added as Alex came back into the room.

"Everything okay?" Kara asked her daughter.

"Yes, but can you fly me to Arizona?"

"Now?"

"No next weekend."

"Of course." Kara smiled.

"More details to go with that." MJ asked.

"It's Matt's birthday and his mom and Jane are organising a surprise party."
