Part 3

Lilith was tempted, very tempted, to teleport across the universe just for the sole purpose of slamming the woman on the other side of that screen into the ground for what she had done to Fate all those years ago. She held back.

But just barely.

Fate, for her part, had hundreds of questions running through her head all at once. Namely, how was Precia alive, why did she look so young and why was she back?

And yet, she couldn't form the words that were running through her mind. It was so shocking to see her mother after seven years that she couldn't even think straight. "I..."

"Hey!" A new voice spoke up that caught people's attention, especially since she sounded so much like Fate, just younger, "mom! I wanna see too!"

Suddenly a little girl, who couldn't be older than eight, appeared on screen. She had red eyes and blonde hair done up in twin pigtails. "Oh!" The girl's eyes sparkled as she saw Fate. "You're my little sister? But you're so big!"

"...Sis...ter?" Fate blinked a few times in confusion as her brain tried to reboot.

"Uh huh." The girl nodded while smiling happily. "I asked mom to gimme a younger sister and now I finally get to meet you." She pouted in such an adorable way that Fate, Arf, Lilith and Lindy all wanted to smother her in a hug. "It's too bad I didn't get to see you in diapers." Her eyes widened and she giggled, rubbing the back of her head. "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot! My name's Alicia Testarossa!"

"A...Alicia?" Fate stuttered as she looked at the young girl. "But... You're... How?"

"That... Is actually a good question." Lindy said as she looked at Precia and Alicia. "I hope you do realize that this is rather unheard of, someone falling into Dimensional Space tends to not come out of it."

"Believe me, I know." Precia said as she closed her eyes. "I suppose that it's fair to explain what happened to me after I saw you last, Fate."

Fate just silently nodded her head.

*Flashback*

Precia smiled as she held Alicia's capsule. "Soon, soon we'll be in Al Hazard, and then..." There was a loud roar and Precia looked around in confusion, which turned into fear and surprise as a Dragon, a literal Dragon of crimson red, larger than any creature she had ever seen, even bigger than most spaceships, was heading towards her and Alicia. Even though it looked like it was going to fly past them, a body that size would send them tumbling through the dimensional rift with ease. "No, you..." Precia growled as she tried to focus on her magic, only to start coughing as blood came out of her mouth. "Dammit, not now, I'm so close."

Before she could recover, the giant Dragon was upon her and she could only stare in horror as the thing's wings flapped, sending waves of pressure towards the two of them, sending them flying through Dimensional Space. "A...Alicia!" Precia ignored the Dragon, transformed her staff into a whip and used it to latch onto Alicia's capsule and pull herself towards it. Grabbing it, she squeezed her eyes shut. "Even if there's nothing here, we'll be..."

Whatever more she was going to say was cut off as dimensional space seemed to get bright as she was coming out of it.

When Precia felt that she wasn't moving anymore, she opened her eyes and looked around to see a place of wonder and beauty. There was nature everywhere, the sky was a crystal blue, the temperature was perfect, and she saw a large building in the distance that had moss growing over it. "D...Did we finally make it? Al Hazard?"

"Interesting." A male voice spoke up and Precia stiffened and turned around, seeing a tall, regal looking man walking towards her. "It has been ages since I last saw any humans before this year." He stopped just before them and Precia felt an immense urge to kneel in front of him. "And yet, in this past year, there were humans, a Demon and a Vampire that came to the Realm of the Fae. What brings you this world?"

"I..." Precia tried to speak before she started to cough. She fell to her knees while putting her hand over her mouth as blood came out of it.

"That will be enough of that." The man said and suddenly green energy seemed to seep up from the ground surrounding Precia, who gasped in surprise as she felt her body suddenly feel lighter and healthier than it had been in years. "I would rather you be able to speak easily rather than die because of some disease."

Precia gasped and panted, staring at the ground with wide eyes. She looked up at the man, who was looking at her casually. "You... Cured me?"

"I merely rewound the effects of time on your body until whatever you had affected you and removed it from you." He said casually. "Now, answer my question. What brings you to the Realm of the Fae?"

"I..." Precia slowly stood up. "I was trying to enter the Dimensional Rift, to find Al Hazard to have a chance to save my daughter."

"Al..." The man tilted his head. "Ah yes, this place was known as Al Hazard before I removed it from where it was and turned it into the Fae Realm." He said with a nod, causing Precia to gawk at him. "And that girl in the tube is your daughter?" He asked and Precia nodded. "I see." He said and turned to walk away.

"Wait!" Precia ran around him and fell to her knees. "Please! I don't care what happens to me, but please! If you can save my daughter, I beg of you!"

"And why should I, Oberon, the Lord of the Fae, help you any further?"

Precia felt tears filling her eyes. "Please! I beg of you. I do not care what you do to me, but please." She bowed and put her head on the ground. "If you can save me, Lord Oberon, can you please save my daughter and fix what happened to her?"

Precia didn't know how long she stayed like that. She knew that Oberon wasn't moving and she was trembling, worrying that he would refuse to help her.

"Mom?" A voice that had Precia gasping as she looked up to see Alicia walking out of the tube, staggering towards her. "Wh...where are we?"

"A...Alicia!" Precia scrambled to her feet as she rushed to where her daughter was and hugged her. "My Alicia! You're alive!"

"For as long as you and your daughter are here," Oberon said, causing Precia to look at him with tears falling out of her eyes, "you are to be my servants. Now come, I have work for you."

"Y, yes milord." Precia said as she got up and followed after him.

*End Flashback...*

"Lord Oberon and Lady Titania weren't bad." Alicia said as Precia finished up the story. "Puck was funny, but most of the rest of the Fae liked to play pranks and some of them hurt me or mom."

"Should have done more to your mom." Arf muttered under her breath, getting a pinch on the cheek from Fate.

"I..." Fate began, unsure what to say next.

"Huh?" Alicia gasped in surprise as she realized something. "Why is my little sister missing an arm?!"

"What?" Precia asked and gasped as she saw the bandaged stump that Fate had for a left arm. "Fate, what happened?" Precia had a look of genuine concern on her face. "Are you okay?"

Arf growled and stood on the bed between Fate and Precia on the screen. "Don't think I forgot how you tied Fate up and whipped her when she was nine!"

"Wait, what?" Alicia asked in surprise and looked at Precia, who had a look of total regret on her face. "Mother? Did you?" Precia gave a small nod while looking down. "...That's why you never talked about my little sister? That's why you said that you were a bad mother to her? And is that why you kept crying at night while asking her to forgive you?"

Precia hugged her left arm and looked away. "Nothing I can say or do can undo the damage that I did. I was an absolute monster, Alicia. I should have been a mother for Fate, and I wasn't."

"M...Mother?" Fate asked softly and Precia shook her head.

"D, don't!" Precia screwed her eyes shut as tears formed in her eyes. "I don't deserve to be called something so wonderful from you! Not after what I did to you. After I rejected you. How?" She looked at Fate, tears falling from her eyes. "Even now! You call me mother! After all I did to you! How can you call me that?"

"Because, you're still my mother." Fate said softly. "I... I gave up on the thought of ever being a family, and..."

Lilith suddenly coughed and put her hand on Fate's right shoulder. "Fate, I love you, you're a good girl, you don't need to..." Fate shook her head and Lilith sighed. "Alright, but I think that we might need to end this call, because I don't think any of us can think clearly." She looked at Precia and Alicia. "Can you put that guy, Issei back on the line?"

"Ah," Precia nodded and called for Issei to talk. "We'll be going now."

"Bye bye, little sister." Alicia smiled and waved. "I hope to see you in person soon."

Fate smiled as the two left the screen and Issei came back on.

"You wanted to speak to me again?" Issei asked.

"Could you please keep those two where you live for a few days?" Lindy asked him and Issei looked confused. "You have to understand, Precia Testarossa is in a... Complicated situation and we need to bring her in for questions for things that happened a long time ago."

"...You make it sound like she's a criminal." Issei said and Lindy nodded. "She is?"

"Yes." Lindy told him. She looked at Fate, who was looking troubled and sighed softly. "It's not so cut and dry, just keep her where you are so we can bring her in for questions, okay?"

Issei nodded and then blinked. "Oh! Um, say, miss Fate..." The blonde looked at him in confusion. "This might sound weird, but maybe Asia can heal your arm?"

"You think that she can?" Fate asked and Issei nodded.

"Yeah! Well, maybe. But even if she can't, Azazel could get you a cool replacement arm." Issei smiled at her. "And, by the way, I'll keep your mom and sister safe, miss Fate."

Fate smiled and nodded as the screen turned off.

"Fate..." Lindy began and Fate turned and hugged her adopted mother, suddenly sobbing and bawling into Lindy's chest as Lindy hugged her back, letting her poor girl cry out all the pain that had returned to her. "It's okay, I'm here for you."

Fate just cried.

As strong as she was, seeing Precia again opened old wounds that made her emotions bubble up and burst forth.

Lilith got on the bed and hugged Fate from behind while Arf hugged her master as well.

No matter what else would happen, the three wouldn't let Fate deal with this alone.

It was a few days later that found Gabriel standing in front of the remaining Angels in Heaven. Even Angels that had been on long-term missions had returned to Heaven for this announcement.

Gabriel looked at Michael, Raphael and Uriel, who all nodded and she turned to face the crowd. "Hello and thank you all for coming today. I have an announcement to make. As almost all of you know, recently the rules for Angels in regards to romance and the ability to do the greatest gift our Father gave humanity, the ability to have a family, was bestowed upon us without the worry of us becoming Fallen. In fact," she smiled as she saw a few Angels in the crowd, "some of you have already been blessed with bringing new life into this world and I am very happy for you. Others have fallen in love and gotten married, though you have not been blessed yet, I am sure that you will in due time." Her smile faltered slightly. "It is because of this that I call you all here. Recently, I, myself, have found someone that I have been courting for several months." There were gasps and murmurs among the crowd for those who didn't know and Gabriel waited a bit before holding up a hand to quiet them all down. "I wished to keep it quiet as I was unsure of my feelings and wished to explore them before making an announcement. Sadly, for me, my plan failed as some Angels discovered that I was courting Ranma Saotome, a Devil." She closed her eyes and looked down while several Angels gasped in surprise. "The Angels that objected to my courtship teamed up with Fallen Angels, Devils and an outside source of power to trick and capture me. I was told that I was betraying Heaven and my station with my courtship."

Gabriel closed her eyes before looking up and opening them, "I want to deny what was said, but I cannot deny what I am doing may not only put my standing among our followers at risk, but I may be acting too selfish and unbecoming of a Seraph. The reason I called you all here was to ask you if you think this is right. I do not wish to have another situation where our loyal followers decide that I have stepped out of line. If you are worried that I would place my feelings above my duty..." She trailed off and looked sad. "If that is the case, I will place duty over my own personal feelings. But, please, speak up now if you have concerns."

There were murmurs as the various Angels spoke among themselves and Gabriel didn't let it show, but she was feeling nervous and wondered if her courtship with Ranma would be rejected by everyone.

"I can only speak for myself." A voice that Gabriel recognized as Irina's spoke up. "But, I see no problem with your courtship of a Devil." Irina said with a smile. "I, myself, am married to a Devil. My childhood friend and the Red Dragon Emperor, Issei Hyuudou. If being with Ranma makes you happy, Lady Gabriel, I see no reason why you shouldn't pursue this. After all, did not you and Lord Michael, Lord Uriel and Lord Raphael place a rule upon all Angels that while we can marry and have children, we must not forget that it is our role to spread God's love, mercy and wisdom to the masses?"

There were more murmurs and Gabriel smiled softly. "Yes, I will never forget that. It is important that even if we can do things to never overindulge, for that, even in the pursuit of life and love, can lead to sin."

"Then I," a male voice spoke up and Gabriel recognized him as Dulio, "have no problems with this courtship either." He smiled at her. "Maybe it's because I am a former human, but I feel that if Lady Gabriel can find love in her personal life, then I think it's fine. If there's any Angels I am certain would never overindulge and put her feelings and emotions over her duty, it is our four Great Seraphs. And this goes for Lord Michael, Lord Raphael and Lord Uriel as well. If any of you find someone to fall in love with and marry, I shall support you as well."

"There's one thing I disagree with." Raphael said with a stern expression on his face while everyone looked at him in confusion. "If you, Lady Gabriel, think that you would fall prey to overindulgence or being unable to do your job as a Seraph, then you are not fit to be one of us." Gabriel looked shocked and Raphael continued before anyone could say anything. "In all the time that we've been alive, only Lord Michael can say that they have been a shining example of what an Angel should be. Even if you end up like Angel Irina and marrying a Devil, I have no doubt that you would be fine."

"I'm fine with it." Sandalphon yelled from somewhere in the crowd.

Gabriel smiled and lowered her head, tears falling from her eyes. "Thank you, all of you. I am truly humbled and blessed to hear this. Please, if any of you feel that I am falling off the path of righteousness, do not hesitate to let me know."

Even though Gabriel knew that any potential romance with Ranma wasn't going to happen quickly, she was at least thankful that it seemed that none of the remaining Angels were against the idea of her and a Devil courting and possibly marrying.
