Ch 11 Attack
"You shrimps ain't goin' nowhere," Dogo snarled, his black eyes gleaming.
"Yeah," Endela cackled as she and Uovu surrounded the cubs as well. "Except six feet under." Endela let out an evil laugh when she said this part.
"I'm gonna teach Kijana exactly what happens when you cross me," Dogo hissed. "And killin' his kids is the perfect way to do that."
"And you even get to kill Kovu's brat for extra bonus," Uovu said with an evil cackle of his own.
"Even better," Dogo said. "Kill the brats!" With that the jackals began to advance on the helpless cubs.
"Help!" Mwali cried out. "Grandma! Ms. Asha help us!" Within seconds Asha and Fauti jumped into action, springing in front of the cubs and snarling and baring their teeth at Dogo and his jackals.
"Touch our grandkids and you're all dead!" Fauti snarled.
"Well hello Fauti," Dogo said with a smirk. "Imagine seeing you here. And Kovu's mom too. Perfect. Now I can have the pleasure of killin' you two as well."
"You really think you three are any match for us?" Asha demanded.
"Maybe not," Dogo said. "But the rest of my Pack sure as Hell is!" With that Dogo let out a cry and within seconds growls were heard as the rest of the Pack emerged from the shadows and surrounded the group.
"Kill all of them" Dogo commanded. "And make sure its as painful as possible."
"Sure thing boss," Uovu said as he and the rest of the Pack leapt into action and attacked.

Meanwhile Kopa was walking and brooding. "Why the Hell do I keep doing this?" he thought as he walked. "I really need to talk to Rafiki. He'll know what to do about all this anger I have." With that Kopa began to walk towards Rafiki's Tree. But before he got very far he heard Mwali's cries for help followed by growling. Running as fast as he could Kopa soon saw the cubs along with Asha and Fauti surrounded by Dogo and his Pack. Dogo was advancing on Kinte and was about to hit the cub. "No!" Kopa roared leaping out of the bushes and tackling Dogo. "Touch my nephew and you're dead!" Kopa snarled, hitting Dogo hard in his face.
"Well look who came back from the dead," Dogo growled, shoving Kopa off of him. "Time to send you back. Only this time there ain't gonna be no turnin' back."
"Yeah right," Kopa hissed. "I'm not scared of you Dogo!" With that Kopa lunged at Dogo, who stepped to the side. Uovu was waiting and he promptly hit Kopa in his back, causing him to fall to the ground.
"Leave my boy alone" Asha shouted, tackling Uovu to the ground, giving Kopa time to recover. The creamy coated lion quickly got to his feet and leapt between the cubs, who were about to be attacked by Dogo and Endela.
"I told you to leave the kids alone!" Kopa roared, baring his teeth and extending his claws. "I won't let you hurt innocent children!"
"Like you're in any position to to challenge us alone!" Dogo snarled as he swiped at Kopa.
"He's not alone!" Fauti cried out, stepping next to Kopa with Asha on his other side.
"He's got us!" Asha snarled, glaring at Dogo and his crew.
"Heh two old hags ain't gonna do any good," Uovu scoffed as he and Endela let out mocking laughs as they and the rest of the Pack leapt towards Kopa, Asha and Fauti, taking them to the ground.
"We need to get help," Changa whispered to Mwali and Kinte. The other two young animals nodded and went to get more help. But to their shock and horror they saw Mbaya and Dogo there.
"You brats ain't goin' no where," Dogo hissed.
"Please don't hurt us," Kinte said, his voice shaking with fear as he looked up with wide green eyes. Mwali and Changa went on either side of Kinte and comforted his as best they could despite being terrified themselves.
"Dogo maybe we shouldn't hurt them," Mbaya said. "They're just cubs after all."
"Ugh I ain't got time for you to be an emotional pregnant female," Dogo growled, rolling his blue eyes. "They are the children of our enemy and they need to be disposed of. Now either you do it or you can get the Hell out!"
"I'll do what you want Dogo," Mbaya said, wiping away the tears. "But I don't like this Dogo. I didn't sign on for hurting innocent children."
"They ain't innocent Mbaya," Dogo hissed as he stomped down on Kinte's tail, preventing him from running away. "They're Fauti and Kuato's grandchildren and they need to be taught a lesson about betraying your own kind."
"I know this Dogo," Mbaya shot back as she hit Mwali hard, causing her to crash in Changa. Both pups hit the ground hard and had a hard time getting back up. Mbaya went to hit the pups again when she heard the sound of fighting. Looking over the female jackal saw the Kuato had come to the rescue along with Moto, Chana, Maweha, Kijana, and Mpenzi.
"Leave my kids alone damn you!" Kijana growled, jumping on Dogo while Mpenzi scooped up the terrified young animals and held them close while Kuato and the rest of the group went to help Asha, Fauti, and Kopa. After a few minutes Dogo and his Pack soon realized they couldn't win and they retreated back into the Outlands.
"Are you guys alright?" Moto asked, looking at his mother and the others with concern.
"Yes we're alright," Fauti said with a smile. Just then Kovu and Safara came running up to the group.
"Is everyone alright?" Kovu asked, his voice full of concern. "We heard from Zazu that Dogo and his Pack attacked the kids."
"Everyone's fine Kovu," Kijana said as he nuzzled his shaken daughters.
"Oh Kinte you must have been so scared," Safara said, nuzzling her son.
"I'm alright Mom," Kinte said, snuggling into Safara's chest fur. "Really I am."
"I'm so sorry Kovu and Safara," Fauti said as she limped over to the couple with the help of Kuato and Moto.
"There's no need for you to be sorry Fauti," Kovu said with a smile.
"Yeah we all know that Dogo and his Pack have been causing trouble for months now," Safara said with a grunt.
"I'm just glad the kids are alright," Kopa said as he joined the group.
"Can we go home Mommy?" Kinte asked, still snuggled in Safara's fur. "Please?"
"Of course we can honey," Safara said as she picked up her son. Mpenzi and Kijana picked up their daughters as well and the group began to go their separate ways.
"Thank you again for your help," Kovu called out.
"That's what friends are for," Kuato said with a smile. With that the group made their way towards their respective homes.

The next day all the animals were gathered at Pride Rock for Mflame's presentation. Nuka was sitting on the edge of Pride Rock waiting for Rafiki to make his way up. Once Rafiki was at the top he hugged Nuka, who looked behind him to where Kiara was walking towards them with Mflame in her mouth. After embracing Kiara Rafiki took the newborn in his arms and walked towards the edge and held her up for all the animals to see. The animals let out cheers and they all bowed to their new Princess. Simba and Zira were sitting off the side along with Vitani and Chafu. All four of them had smiles on their faces as they watched Rafiki spread the juices on Mflame's head and hand her back to Kiara. Together Nuka and Kiara walked back inside the cave all of them happy with the day and unaware of the trouble that would soon be coming their way.
A/N well folks ch 11 over and done. Hope you all enjoyed it. Review please.
