(A/N: I'm not sure if they're going to do the MOC storyline on GH, even though some clues point to it, but who knows what the writers plan. This is just my version of what could happen if they decide to go that route. Also, I don't know if I'll have Faith in this story since I wasn't planning to make this story a part of my Sprina rising series. But if there are enough requests, I may go ahead and add her. I also want to thank everyone for the positive reactions to this and the other Sprina stories I have written. I have not been so in love with a soap pairing since Lucky and Elizabeth. Hopefully, Sprina will have a happier fate.)

The next morning found Trina back in her dorm room. She had thought about going to Wyndemere to stay with Ava but thought better of it. It would have been on short notice and after all that had happened, Trina didn't even know if her former employer was staying at the mansion. So she made her way back to her dorm room. Surprisingly, Joss wasn't there. Then again, she shouldn't be surprised. Joss was probably spending the night with Dex again. Which made Trina think of Spencer. She wondered what his plans were for this morning. They really did have to talk about her plan, so she would know what she'd be doing in the future. She knew one thing, she couldn't keep all of her things here in the dorm room, plus with summer coming up, she would definitely need somewhere else to go.

Taking out her cell, she sent Spencer a text: Meet me at Kelly's in an hour?

It didn't even take a minute for Spencer to return her text: See you there.

Trina had to smile. She liked how he always seemed to be ready for her, no matter what time it was. She could always depend on Spencer to be there for her. She knew that it was something that she shouldn't take for granted. It won't always be like that. With the custody of his brother up in the air, there may be a time when he'll have to put his brother first, which was fine. Babies should always come first, right?

Babies. That was another thing in question. This marriage to Spencer would also mean taking on a responsibility that she hadn't even thought about being ready for. Right now, babies were these adorable little creatures that made her smile whenever she was in the presence of one. She loved holding and playing with babies. But she knew that was not all that went into caring for a baby. Babies were also work. Midnight feedings, diaper changes, doctor appointments. Was she ready for all of that? She felt a pang of regret. Normally, she would go to her mother and get her advice. But right now, that was not an option. The hurt that her mother had caused was still fresh. Besides, her mother would flip if she knew what Trina had planned. So would her father...and Curtis. So would Joss. Ava probably wouldn't like it either.

She was on her own when it came to this decision...well, no. She had Spencer. Which made her want this even more, because of everyone, she could always depend on him. Even when it had seemed like she couldn't. It was one of the reasons why she...well...liked him so much.

Checking the time, she decided that a shower was due. She didn't have that much time left before she had to be at Kelly's.

…..

Spencer was relieved to see that Kelly's was nearly empty when he entered. Cam was at the counter, wiping it down, unaware that his cousin had just entered until he was at the counter, just watching Cam work.

Finally, Cam looked up, annoyance flashing in his eyes. "Are you going to say something, or should I put you to work again?"

Spencer just smirked. "That might be a good idea. I am about to become a man with responsibilities after all."

"So you're still going for custody of your brother?" Cam put away his rag.

"Of course. I'm not going to allow my brother to stay in that prison a moment longer than he has to. It's a travesty that they're allowing her to keep him there in the first place."

"I can see why they would. Newborn babies should be with their mothers."

"Unless that mother is a raging psycho like both of her parents," Spencer snorted. "The Esme I met in Europe wasn't even the real her. She had me completely snowed and now the courts are allowing her to use my little brother as a bargaining chip. It pisses me off."

"So what's the plan now? Court?"

"Yes...but...Trina has come up with a plan that can tip the scales in my favor...it's just...well...I don't know if it's the right thing for Trina if we go through with it."

Cam couldn't help but smile. Spencer was so head over heels for Trina. It seemed like every decision he made when it came to her was if it would benefit her. Spencer was at his most selfless when it came to Trina. Cam couldn't help but to like this version of his cousin that his friend brought out.

"Out with it. What's the plan?"

Spencer shifted in his seat and looked down at his hands, then back at Cam, searching his face for a reaction. "She thinks that we should get married."

"What?!"

"She thinks that the optics of a married couple wanting custody would look better than a sibling. Plus Esme is a single mother in prison. A married couple with a loving home would be the best look. What do you think? Is she right?"

"Well...it would look best on paper. But you both are so young. Barely out of your teens! Plus, neither one of you has your own place...of course that can change. What do you think? I mean...I know that you're in love with Trina. You've gone above and beyond for that girl, so that's not the question. But we're talking about marriage, taking vows. Til death do you part...are you ready for that?"

Spencer smiled when he thought of having all that marriage entails with Trina. Was he ready? Heck, he was born ready, really. But again, he didn't want to do anything that could disrupt Trina's life. "I am...but only if it's good for Trina."

"Well, only Trina can decide that and she seems to be all for it," Cam shrugged. "I've seen the way she looks at you. She definitely feels the same for you that you feel for her. Now if she's ready for the responsibility of taking care of a baby as well, I say go for it. You both are far better for that baby than Esme is. That's for sure."

"So you think it's a good idea? Me and Trina getting married?"

Cam simply shrugged. "It's a crazy idea, I'll give you that. Crazy enough to work even. But a good one? Well...who am I to say?"

Spencer looked up just as Trina entered. She was a vision in a pink sweater and white jeans with her hair braided back away from her face. Spencer couldn't help the smile that lit up his face.

"Hey, there you are," He left the counter to take her hand in greeting.

"Here I am," Trina smiled, gripping Spencer's hand in hers. "I'm glad that you're able to meet me so early."

"I'm here for you, whenever you need me. No matter the hour," Spencer chuckled.

"You know how to make a girl feel special."

"Hey, you two take a seat. I'll get you some menus," Cameron waved before disappearing into the back.

"I told Cameron about your idea. He thinks that it's crazy enough to work," Spencer lead Trina over to a table furthest away from the door and pulled out a chair for her.

"What do you think?" Trina accepted the chair and watched as Spencer sat across from her and took her hand in his.

"I want to make sure that you're positive that this is what you want. Life with me...it's not going to be a picnic I'm afraid. Us Cassadines...we're not a happily tight-knit family. I'm afraid the best of us don't even carry the last name Cassadine…"

"Oh, I don't know about that. I know one person with that last name that I find absolutely amazing."

"Not as amazing as you," Spencer lifted her hands to his lips, placing a gentle kiss against her fingers. "I'm crazy about you, Trina. I want to do all I can to make you happy."

"I know. I feel the same way. Spencer, I...you have no idea how long I've had these feelings for you. I mean...it's been two years now."

"It's the same for me. I...I've loved you from the moment we met. I was supposed to be terrorizing my stepmother, but instead, I run into this amazing girl that I just couldn't stop thinking about. A girl that I had to know, somehow. You were a force of nature that I wasn't expecting, but I'm glad I met. You kept me from becoming a person I wouldn't have liked very much. You made me see that being myself wasn't a bad thing at all."

"You made me feel beautiful and worthy. When you look at me, you made me feel...more special than I ever have. You still do. It's a feeling that I never want to stop."

"Trina…"

"Yes?"

Spencer swallowed down his nervousness, knowing that his next words were going to change everything, but they were words that he couldn't keep back any longer. "I am in love with you. I have no doubts about that."

"I am in love with you too. I can't deny that anymore, I don't want to. I have loved you for a long time now…"

"Really?"

Trina chuckled and nodded. "Really. Even when I tried to move on with Rory, I couldn't. You were always on my mind and in my heart. Nothing I did change that and I can't fight it anymore. I am in love with you."

Spencer's smile lit up his entire face and he gripped her hand as he slid out of his chair and got down onto one knee. "Well, in that case, I have no doubt about this question I want to ask. Trina Robinson, will you do me the honor of making me the happiest man on earth? Will you marry me?"

Cameron came out just in time to hear Trina's answer.

"Yes! Yes, Spencer! I will marry you!" She giggled as Spencer got up and pulled her into a long, deep kiss that promised blissful happiness and love.
