"It's been awhile since I've seen the both of you," Erick said as Tommy and Kimberly settled in the chairs in front of him. His therapy sessions with Tommy were always interesting, but Kim tagging along struck him with fear. "Has something happened?"

"I don't even know where to start," Kim whispered as Erick glanced over at Tommy and he nodded that it was fine. Since the last time this had happened, Erick had taken on Kimberly as a patient as well, but it was rare that they came together. Every time that this had happened, he always found out something he didn't really want to know. "I have more powers."

"Come again?" Erick blurted out as he lost his professionalism for a moment and they both gave him amused grins. He had learned a lot about the Power Ranger world from them, but they still managed to surprise him from time to time. "Does that mean you're a ranger again?"

"No. Luckily it's not that," Tommy said as Erick let out a sigh and settled back in his chair. He knew about Tommy's forays into the fights- that had been another session he would never forget. Kimberly had lost her ever loving shit about him being in and out of the fights, but they had managed to create some boundaries around it that Kim was comfortable with, even if she preferred that he just never go. "I wouldn't get comfortable- this is something brand new to this world. Yogen-sha. Prophets."

"Prophets? Like the 'see the future' kind?" Erick asked as Kim and Tommy nodded and he placed his head in his hands. If any other patient had come in and said that they were seeing the future, he would immediately send them for intensive treatment. With Kim and Tommy- this was just another thing to add to their crazy life. "I thought this session was going to be talking about what happened at Rockefeller Plaza."

"We are going to be talking about that. I'm what happened at Rockefeller Plaza," Kim stated as Erick froze and he then held up a hand for her to pause. He immediately buzzed the office manager and signaled to cancel the rest of his day. While this might not require an excess of time, it was going to require an excess of his attention and brain power. "I…I…"

"Babe- none of this is your fault. If we had known you were a prophet from the beginning you would be able to control it better. You're having to do a lot of catch up," Tommy said and Kimberly let out a frustrated groan and Erick glanced over at Tommy to see that his eyes were filled with concern. "Is it better if I wait outside?"

"No," Kim grumbled as she let out another long sigh and she stared up at the celiing for a moment. "My life has been completely destroyed by getting this new power. I can't focus. I am constantly zoning out to scribble down prophecies that I can't even bring myself to read. I am being half a mother, half a wife, and faking that I am completely back to normal after having the twins on national television every day. I just want…I want to feel like me again."

"What have you been trying?" Erick asked as Tommy reached into his backpack and pulled out three books. Erick scanned the titles and shook his head. He had never seen these books before, but he also didn't recognize the author as an expert in the field of psychology. But was this even a psychology problem? "From the broad strokes of what these are suggesting and what you said- this sounds a lot like ADD, but on a scale that I've never seen before. You're also- five months postpartum? There's a lot going on in your body right now- hormonally and emotionally."

"I know, but I can't…I can't keep putting him and my babies and everyone around me in that kind of danger," Kim rambled as Tommy grabbed her hand and silently traced a pattern on the back of it. Erick watched as she immediately started to calm and glanced over to see that Tommy was acting like he had done nothing. He had seen Kimberly have that effect on Tommy, but had never thought it would work both ways.

"I assume that you're doing everything these books suggest?" Erick asked as they both nodded and he let out a sigh. "I don't think that medicating you would be wise- so that means lifestyle factors and probably a bit of experimenting to see what helps most. To figure out what might work- I think I need to understand what really happened."

"In the past- our Power Ranger powers have caused problems when something tries to go after the other person. We've both been known to cause anything around us to disintegrate if those powers explode- normally buildings aren't really affected," Tommy supplied as Kim shook her head. "Okay- my powers do that. Hers, not so much. Not until now."

"So what do you do to contain your powers?" Erick asked and all he got was a blank stare. He looked over at Kimberly and she grimaced as she scratched the back of her neck. "Oh."

"Yeah- by the time my powers need to explode- so many things have gone wrong that there's no reason to hold them back," Tommy stated as Erick just shook his head. He was amazed every time they had a session like this- when they peeled back more layers of what being a Power Ranger really meant. "The difference is- I know when I am getting close and can direct it at the beings that are bothering us."

"I have no way of doing that. I don't even have a way of knowing when I am getting close to exploding. At Rockefeller that day- one minute I was seeing Tommy die and the next there were so many voices in my head that I couldn't tune out and…I had no idea what was happening until it was over. When I looked around I could obviously see the damage I caused, but when I was in it…" Kim trailed off as she shook her head. This was one of the most frustrating things about being a prophetess- there was no control. She just had to surrender to it and that was proving to be more difficult than she had ever imagined. "I nearly killed him, and the twins, and everyone in that building that day. And I have no way to short circuit it."

"I'm a bit out of my depth here," Erick admitted as he looked through his notes on what he had done for things that sounded remotely similar, but it was all going to be guess work. Guess work did not make him comfortable with what he knew about their abilities. "It's not similar enough to ADD to just give you a bunch of things to do with that, but there are a lot of things we can start with that just generally help with things like this in normal people."

"Aside from meditation, spending copious amounts of time with my husband, and generally being healthy?" Kim asked as Erick let out a groan and he looked up at the ceiling. "Yeah."

"It's going to sound really basic, but I think it would be good to start with nutrition and exercise and just tracking it. Also cleaning up your sleep habits or just tracking what your sleep habits are so that we can pinpoint anything that may be something you can tweak," Erick said as they both glared at him. He didn't blame them. His plan sounded like putting a band aid on a gunshot wound, but they were in completely uncharted waters. "I will do some additional research on other treatment options. I do not want to experiment on you with anything. The both of you have the chance of extra complications that none of us would be ready to deal with and it would be irresponsible to put you in a position where this could get worse."

"Erick- I need relief from this," Kim said as Erick nodded. "You really think this is where I should start?"

"I think that this is the safest place to start and a place where small changes might make a huge difference. Ultimately- this is going to be a lifelong journey for you to figure out what works to keep things in check," Erick said as Kim let out a long sigh and Tommy reached over and pulled her into his lap. Erick watched as something passed between them before Tommy locked eyes with him and nodded. "If you want- I can do the research now. I cleared my books and we can discuss what seems like it would make sense."

"I don't know that I can," Kim whispered as Erick nodded. He knew that this was not what she had wanted to hear, but it seemed like Tommy was more prepared for it. Tommy had seen what experimentation had done for him and he accepted that that was a critical part of this process.

"I'll do the research anyway and I'll send you some additional options for us to discuss at your next session," Erick said as Kim nodded and Tommy squeezed her hand. She gave him a small smile, but he could still see the fear in her eyes. She was desperate for something to move the needle on controlling her prophet abilities, because she couldn't continue this way much longer.
