Hank stood in the hospital room listening to the distraught parents as they told how they're newborn baby was taken out of the room by a "nurse" for so-called testing and the baby was never brought back. Erin glanced at her father figure and squeezed his hand to hopefully keep him calm.

After gathering all the information they needed the two had walked out and Hank was taken back in time to when it was him and Anna. It was his fault for handing his baby over. He didn't blame Anna for hating or blaming him, he did that plenty over the past 12 years.

"Are you ok?" Erin asked, keeping her voice soft.

"Ask me after this case is over" Hank answered, trying not to come off as harsh.

"Hank, you've gotta keep your head level otherwise we will lose this case"

"As if I'd let that happen"

Before Erin could get another word out Hank walked away and she sighed. Everyone else that had gone to the hospital had finished what information they could.

"Any luck?" Erin asked the visiting agents.

"We're waiting on the security footage" Emily spoke first.

"And it looks like whoever kidnapped the baby had this planned out, we found a pair of nurses scrubs and a badge in the staircase going to the garage" Derek added.

Taking a deep breath Hank gathered his thoughts and tried to regain his composure. Erin had put a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"We should head back to the district and see what the others have found" He kept his voice as calm as he possibly could.

"Alright, let's head back"

The others started to head back.

Meanwhile

Hotch and Anna had gotten on one of the FBI jets with a group of agents going to Chicago for some meeting. It wasn't a long flight and when they had landed they headed for District 21. As Anna looked out the windows through the city she couldn't help but flashback to when she had built a life here, a home, she was growing a family till her daughter had been kidnapped and she just couldn't bare to stay in a place where she lost her baby girl.

Aaron had glanced at her as he drove to the district. He couldn't even begin to imagine what the agent beside him was feeling. Being back in a city she once called home and she was building a life till it crumbled .

"It's strange being back here. The city doesn't seem as if it changed but the people probably did" Anna spoke.

"How are you holding up?" Aaron asked her.

"Ask me after the case is over and if I find my daughter"

"What do you remember about Sergeant Voight?"

"Hank? He's bold, he fights for what's his, fights for victims, he's good police. He's a good guy. Great actually"

"He sounds like a good guy and police, I can't wait to meet him"

"It will be a unexpected reunion that's for sure"

Aaron pulled in a spot as they arrived at the district, Anna got out and was again hit with flashes and memories of being here. Just as they arrived Hank and the others had shown up as well. Hank's eyes damn near popped out of his head seeing his ex girlfriend and the mother of his daughter.

He got out of his car still wide eyed. "Anna"

Hearing her name called, the female agent turned. "Hello Hank"
