The once thriving land, now reduced to a desolate wasteland, bore the scars of death and destruction. Silence reigned as the night enveloped the island and its surrounding ocean. No signs of life remained—no flickering lights, no distant sounds, only an approaching fleet of the Alvarez Empire's ships could be seen on the horizon.
Within the ruins of what was once the Konoha palace, Naruto, his eyes swollen from tears and his heart heavy with grief, gently laid Mikoto's lifeless body on the cold ground. With trembling hands, he clutched Seliah's small, fragile hand, his expression etched with worry, fear, pain, and a profound sense of panic.
Behind them, Kushina and Aries watched with a sense of dread as Seliah slowly began to fade away. It started from her feet, as shimmering orbs of purple light emanated from her body, making their way toward the book that now bore Seliah's complete name.
As Naruto observed the violet ring in his hand, its vibrant color sparkling, he noticed the Uchiha crest—a white and red fan—glowing from within the pearl-like lacrima. He turned to Kushina and Aries, his voice low and timid, yet filled with a glimmer of hope.
"K-Kaa-chan, can't we stop what's happening to Seliah?" Naruto's voice wavered, his heart already knowing the answer just from the sorrowful gaze his mother cast upon the ground. Kushina shook her head, a sense of shame marring her features.
"No, Naruto," Kushina replied, her voice tinged with sorrow. "Once Seliah-chan is sealed inside that book, we have to find a way to unseal her. It's an etherious book with an unknown locking mechanism, but it requires a certain amount of power to unlock."
Understanding the gravity of the situation, Naruto's expression hardened, determination etching itself upon his face. He wrapped his arms protectively around Seliah, vowing silently to himself, "Don't worry, I'll find a way to unseal you. It's a promise that will span a lifetime."
Seliah, hearing Naruto's words, tightened her embrace, her body trembling with grief and loneliness. With her mother and brother now gone, Naruto was all she had left in this world. The weight of her sorrow pressed upon her, making her feel isolated and vulnerable.
Naruto gently took Seliah's hands in his, gripping them tightly. He presented the ring to her, his voice filled with unwavering determination, "This ring is a gift from your tou-san. I'll keep it safe for you until you come out of that book, alright?"
Seliah nodded, tears still streaming down her face, as her body gradually vanished, only her head remaining. She clung to Naruto, leaning in to press a tender kiss upon his cheek. With a sad smile, she tilted her head to the side, whispering to herself, "I'll be waiting for you, Naruto-kun."
As Seliah faded away, her essence merging with the book, a profound transformation occurred. The book's cover now bore the Eight Trigrams Seal, and upon it, Seliah's name was etched, a poignant reminder of her presence and the sacrifices made to ensure her safety.
August surveyed the desolate island, his keen senses detecting signs of life still lingering within the remnants of the palace. His unwavering loyalty to his majesty left no room for mercy or hesitation. The orders were clear—every living soul on this island must perish.
A sinister smile crept across August's face as he conjured his staff, channeling an immense amount of magical power into a single devastating attack. The magnitude of destruction he planned to unleash would be beyond comprehension. No mere remnants of exhausted mages could withstand the force he was about to unleash upon them.
Raising his staff high into the air, August concentrated his magical energies, the very essence of the heavens coalescing within him. The weight of the attack was inconsequential; after all, it was a strike from the celestial realm itself. With a swift gesture, he directed the focused energy toward the island, aiming to obliterate it entirely.
At first, nothing seemed to change. The air remained still, the atmosphere eerily silent. However, it was merely the calm before the storm. Suddenly, a low rumbling resonated from above, as if the very sky was quaking in anticipation.
The Alvarez soldiers, stationed as backup, held their breath, their eyes widening in disbelief. What they witnessed defied all reason and comprehension. It was a sight that would be etched in their memories forever. It appeared as though the wrath of the divine had descended upon the once-indestructible land.
High above, a celestial spectacle unfolded. Meteors, colossal and unstoppable, hurtled from the heavens, streaking across the night sky with fiery trails. Each meteor bore the unmistakable mark of August's devastating power, hurtling towards the island with unstoppable force.
As the meteors closed in on their target, a cataclysmic collision became inevitable. The ground trembled beneath the impending impact, the very air humming with raw energy. The Alvarez soldiers could only watch in awe and terror as the meteoric onslaught tore through the defenses of the exhausted mages below.
The impact was catastrophic. Explosions blossomed across the island, consuming everything in their path with a voracious appetite. The palace, once a symbol of power and authority, was now reduced to mere rubble, swallowed by the merciless flames of destruction.
August, his gaze unwavering and his heart devoid of empathy, reveled in the chaos and devastation he had wrought. His loyalty to his cause knew no bounds, and the island's demise served as a testament to his unwavering commitment.
As the smoke and flames enveloped the land, August retreated, satisfied that his mission had been accomplished. The remnants of normalcy that had clung to life on that island had been eradicated, leaving only charred ruins and echoes of lost dreams in their wake. The wrath of the heavens had been unleashed, and its mark would forever be etched upon the indestructible land.
Earlier
The island lay silent, engulfed in an eerie stillness that mirrored the desolation left in the wake of tragedy. Kushina, her heart heavy with grief, carefully took hold of the etherious book that contained Seliah's sealed form. With reverence and sorrow etched upon her face, she sealed the book within a protective scroll. As she completed this somber task, her eyes met Aries', silently conveying their shared understanding.
Together, Kushina and Aries ventured into the palace's basement, moving in hushed whispers. They sought solace within its shadowed depths, hidden from prying eyes and the remnants of destruction that surrounded them. In this sanctuary of darkness, they gathered their belongings, tenderly sheathing the legendary blades of Kusanagi and Ascalon, symbols of power and hope, now tinged with the weight of loss.
Meanwhile, Naruto, his red eyes swollen from ceaseless tears, steeled himself for the devastating sight that awaited him outside the crumbling palace walls. Though he had always felt alienated and ostracized by those who scorned him, this place still held fragments of his identity and memories. It was his home, however flawed and fractured it might be. The weight of his perceived failures burdened his soul, branding him with the mark of helplessness. The realization that he had been unable to protect Seliah, his entrusted duty, gnawed at his very core, leaving him drowning in a sea of self-doubt.
Lost in his musings, Naruto was abruptly pulled back to reality by Kushina's emergence, her arms laden with scrolls containing vital information for their journey beyond the island's confines. She knelt before him, meeting his gaze with a tender concern, her touch gentle as she examined him for any injuries. Her eyes then shifted to Aries, who wore a solemn expression that mirrored the gravity of their circumstances.
Acknowledging Aries, Kushina spoke softly, her voice tinged with a mix of sadness and gratitude, "Aries, Minato-kun has released your contract, correct?"
Aries nodded, her eyes brimming with tears, "Yes, Master wished for me to deliver this scroll to Naruto-sama and do my utmost to ensure your safety."
Kushina pulled Aries into a heartfelt embrace, tears mingling with sorrow, "I will miss you, Aries. You have been a true friend to Naruto, a companion who filled the void of loneliness we, as his family, couldn't mend. Your presence in his life has been a gift."
Aries, too, struggled to contain her emotions, her voice quivering, "I will miss both of you dearly. Perhaps you could keep my key?"
Naruto shook his head gently, his eyes filled with understanding, "No, Aries-chan. We are not celestial spirit mages, and your abilities can serve the world better alongside those who can summon you."
Kushina nodded in agreement, a bittersweet smile gracing her lips, "Yes, Aries. It is time for you to embark on your own path. We bid you farewell, hoping our paths will cross again someday."
Aries wiped away her tears, a mix of gratitude and sadness evident on her face, "Thank you, Naruto-sama, Kushina-sama. Your kindness has touched me deeply, despite the distinction of being my Master's family."
Kushina and Naruto smiled, their expressions heavy with melancholy, as they bid their final farewell to Aries. Bathed in a radiant golden light, she vanished from their presence, her key summoned to another part of the world. They hoped for a kind master who would cherish her, much like Minato had done, and bring her the happiness she deserved.
Turning her attention back to Naruto, Kushina took a deep breath, her gaze locked with Naruto's, conveying a mixture of determination and unyielding love. In her hand, she held the ring adorned with the Namikaze clan symbol, its brilliance shining through the darkness that surrounded them. With utmost care, she slipped the ring onto Naruto's left index finger, its weight a reminder of their unbreakable bond.
"Sochi-kun," Kushina's voice trembled with emotion, her words tender yet resolute, "this ring is a testament to the love and legacy of your father and me. It signifies that no matter where you are, we will always be with you, guiding and protecting you."
Naruto sniffled, his eyes meeting his mother's gaze, devoid of tears but filled with a silent resolve. All the tears he had shed throughout this harrowing day had drained him, leaving behind a sense of numbness. It felt as though his capacity to weep had been exhausted, replaced by a solemn responsibility to honor the memory of those he had lost.
His voice quivered, trepidation laced his every word, "Kaa-chan, let's go to Tou-san's... grave. We need to pay our respects and find the strength to keep going."
Kushina's grip on Naruto tightened, her embrace offering solace in the face of overwhelming sorrow. "We cannot, Sochi-kun," she replied softly, her voice tinged with sadness. "The enemy may be closing in on us, and our safety is paramount. We must carry the memories of our loved ones in our hearts, so they may live on within us. We must never lose hope, never surrender. And I promise you, my precious son, I will never leave your side until the very end."
Naruto nodded, his lips quivering with unspoken words, accepting the weight of his mother's promise. With a heavy heart, he prepared to leave the island, activating his Hiraishin technique to hasten their journey across the treacherous expanse of the ocean toward the Ishgar continent. Their path was shrouded in uncertainty, their souls burdened with grief, but their spirits remained unyielding, fueled by the memories and love they carried within.
As Naruto and Kushina desperately tried to navigate their way through the treacherous waters, fate intervened with a vengeance. Above them, the heavens roared, unleashing a cataclysmic spectacle of destruction. Colossal meteors, their magnitude rivaling that of their very own island, hurtled toward them with an unstoppable force. The skies turned a sinister shade of crimson, the atmosphere thick with foreboding, and the heat intensified, scorching their surroundings.
Realizing the futility of evading such an immense threat, Naruto summoned every ounce of strength within him. Swiftly, he flung his tri-pronged kunai, channeling his Hiraishin technique to teleport away from the meteor's path. Yet, despite his valiant efforts, the relentless acceleration of the meteor closed in on them with terrifying speed. The very land beneath them trembled in anticipation of the impending cataclysm.
Complicating matters further, Naruto and Kushina had to alter their course to avoid the looming presence of the Alvarez Empire's warships. Their massive armada lay in wait, poised to intercept any survivors who dared to escape the island's devastation. Weary from their relentless battles, Kushina, in particular, lacked the strength necessary to face such a formidable adversary. Desperate measures loomed on the horizon, as Naruto considered unleashing a portion of his sealed powers, knowing it would exact a heavy toll on his own well-being.
As they maneuvered through the treacherous waters, a chilling realization struck Naruto. Amidst the chaos, he sensed a magical signature even greater than his father's, looming high above them. The gravity of the situation intensified, leaving him with a dire choice to make.
In a split-second decision, Naruto took a daring risk, determined to protect his mother from the imminent catastrophe. Without her notice, he gathered his magical energy and unleashed a powerful Wind-style attack, a blunt Cannon Wave, aimed directly at Kushina. The sheer intensity of his strike caught her off guard, propelling her away from the island's grasp. However, the blast's expanding radius proved too vast for either of them to escape unscathed.
As the meteor crashed into the island, a cataclysmic explosion engulfed everything in its path. The air itself seemed to catch fire, reducing all in its wake to ash. Naruto, on the verge of being consumed by the devastating blast, felt his eyes flare up with an intense magical energy. In that moment, a flood of memories and words from the people he cherished surged within him, fueling his resolve.
...I will be waiting for you!"
"...make us proud Naruto. When you are outside this island show the world what a Konoha mage could do"
"... Surpass me! Otouoto. Just like a student of mine would do!"
"...Take Care of yourself when you go out. Your obaa-san will be waiting for your return!"
"... Everyone lives their life with their interpretations of reality. But whatever you do, don't lose yourself in hardships Naruto. You can rest in the shadow for all you like but never leave the path of light!"
"...Be happy in your life Sochi-kun. Your kaa-chan will always be looking after you no matter where you are!"
Their voices echoed in his mind, Seliah, Fugaku, Sasuke, Mikoto, Minato, and Kushina herself, each imparting their heartfelt messages. Their words resonated deeply within Naruto, igniting a newfound determination and strength. And with those words echoing in his soul, he uttered a single, resolute command.
"Kamui."
In an instant, his body became ethereal, intangible to the destructive force that ravaged the island. But as he emerged unscathed, the sound of his mother's agonized screams pierced his heart, drowning out his own cries of despair. The curse of his newfound power was revealed—the ability to witness her suffering as her life was extinguished, her body consumed by the unforgiving flames.
Overwhelmed with grief and anguish, Naruto's voice wavered and broke, his desperate plea barely audible amidst the roar of the explosion. "No, Kaa-chan... you can't leave me alone! Please stay with me. I need you... Kaa-chan... Kaa..."
His voice trailed off, swallowed by the deafening cacophony of destruction. The explosion's shockwaves reverberated across the vast ocean.
As the remnants of the cataclysmic explosion settled, Naruto found himself submerged in the depths of the churning ocean, surrounded by turbulent waves that seemed to mirror the turmoil within his heart. The pain of losing his mother, the weight of his failure, and the desolation of his shattered home weighed heavily upon him. The water embraced him, its cool embrace offering a fleeting respite from the devastation above.
Struggling to catch his breath, Naruto's eyes stung from the saltwater as he glanced upwards, his gaze piercing through the turbulent surface. And there, against the backdrop of the fading storm, he caught a glimpse of a figure, shrouded in an aura of darkness. It was August, the enigmatic and powerful mage who had orchestrated this tragedy.
August stood at the edge of the island, his presence radiating with an eerie calmness. He seemed unaffected by the destruction he had unleashed upon the land, a stark contrast to the anguish and despair that consumed Naruto. The dark mage raised his hand, channeling his formidable magical powers, ready to depart from this desolate place.
Though the distance between them seemed insurmountable, Naruto's vision, sharpened by determination and grief, honed in on August's every movement. As the water currents carried him closer, Naruto observed the intricate patterns of magical energy enveloping August's body, signaling his imminent departure through teleportation.
The realization hit Naruto like a lightning bolt. August was leaving, escaping the aftermath of his cataclysmic attack. Anger surged within Naruto, intertwining with his sorrow, forging a newfound resolve. He refused to let August slip away, evading responsibility for the destruction he had wrought.
Summoning every ounce of his remaining strength, Naruto propelled himself through the water, his body cutting through the turbulent currents like a determined force of nature. As he neared August, his eyes burned with determination, a fire that defied the depths of his despair.
With a surge of magical energy, Naruto propelled himself from the water's embrace, launching towards August like a bolt of lightning. He extended his hand, fingers outstretched, yearning to seize the dark mage and bring him to justice.
But just as Naruto's figure left the bounds of water, the dark mage completed his teleportation, disappearing from sight in a flash of ethereal energy. Naruto's hand clenched tightly, his grip empty and devoid of victory. The weight of his failure settled upon him once more, a bitter reminder of the powerlessness he had experienced throughout this tragic ordeal.
Bobbing in the water, Naruto's exhaustion finally caught up with him. His body, battered and weary, demanded respite. As he floated amidst the wreckage of his shattered world, Naruto closed his eyes, allowing the waves to gently carry him, uncertain of what awaited him in the vast expanse of the ocean. The echoes of his mother's words, their meaning amplified by the pain of loss, reverberated within him, providing a flicker of hope in the midst of his desolation.
And so, Naruto surrendered himself to the whims of the ocean, drifting further away from the remnants of his home, yet resolute in his determination to find a new path forward, one that would honor the sacrifices made and the memories etched within his heart.
As Naruto submerged into the depths of the ocean, his body carried by the ebb and flow of the water, a profound emptiness settled within him. He felt the weight of his loss bearing down upon him, a crushing burden that threatened to consume his very essence. In that moment, he yearned for release, for the sweet embrace of eternal slumber.
But then, amidst the darkness of his despair, a familiar voice echoed through his consciousness, gentle and pleading. It was his mother's voice, reminding him of the strength and resilience they must embody in the face of adversity. Her words resonated within him, stirring a flicker of determination that refused to be extinguished.
With renewed purpose, Naruto's eyes snapped open, only to catch a glimpse of a fleeting figure disappearing from view. He recognized the silhouette of a blonde man, his father and mentor, urging him to find the will to go on. A spark of urgency ignited within Naruto, mingling with his sorrow, propelling him forward.
Unleashing the seals that bound his power, Naruto's small frame struggled to contain the immense surge of magical energy. His entire being crackled with raw power as he broke through the surface of the water, emerging like a force of nature, his gaze burning with a calm yet chilling intensity.
The warships, once relieved to have survived the devastation, now found themselves quivering in the presence of this small but overwhelming force. A nauseating pressure settled over the area, causing the crew to collapse in its suffocating grip. The wind picked up, swirling violently around Naruto, as lightning danced ominously amidst the darkened skies.
A sudden silence enveloped the scene as the water began to rotate violently, drawing all eyes to a specific spot. And then, in an instant, the water parted, revealing a small figure standing amidst the swirling currents. The boy, drenched and seemingly unaffected by the chaos around him, lifted his head, revealing eyes that glowed with a cold and intense red.
The world itself seemed to shift, colors taking on a sinister tint. The lightning turned black, outlined with a foreboding red glow. The water shimmered with an ethereal silver light, and the wind assumed a golden hue. It was as if time and space themselves had been altered by Naruto's overwhelming power.
The crew members, frozen with fear, couldn't help but feel the weight of their insignificance in the face of this unearthly presence. Their actions, their orders, all seemed meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Naruto's voice, low and chilling, cut through the silence, demanding an explanation.
Trembling, one of the crew members managed to stammer a response, explaining their orders to attack the land under the command of their emperor. Naruto's expression twisted with confusion, his head tilting to the side as he processed their words.
"So you ruined everything without reason?" he questioned, his voice carrying an eerie calmness. The crew members could only nod, their fear and guilt palpable in the air.
Without a moment's hesitation, Naruto issued his judgment. The crew members hastily attempted to steer their ships away, seeking escape from the impending wrath. But before they could find solace, Naruto's voice rang out once more, resolute and chilling.
"Storm Slayers: Instant Incineration!"
The power unleashed by Naruto was cataclysmic. Black-red lightning, silvery water, and golden winds converged into a devastating force that obliterated the ships and the water beneath them. In an instant, they were consumed by the fiery tempest, reduced to nothingness. The remnants of their presence were swept away by the chaotic storm, which raged on relentlessly for days to come.
As Naruto watched the destruction he had wrought, a hollow feeling settled within Naruto's being. The initial rush of vengeance and raw power subsided, leaving behind an emptiness that matched the desolation around him. Kneeling upon the remnants of the warships, he sealed away the overwhelming surge of magical energy, drawing it back into the confines of his 12-layered seal.
His gaze lingered upon the tempestuous storm he had unleashed, its ferocity mirroring the tempest within his own heart. The chaos of wind, water, and lightning seemed to reflect the turmoil of his emotions, a turbulent symphony of loss, anger, and determination.
At that moment, Naruto made a solemn vow to himself. He would dedicate his life to becoming stronger, to honing his skills and abilities, so that one day he could exact revenge for his loved ones and protect his country from the tyrannical grasp of the Alvarez Empire. There would be no rest for him, no respite from the path of training and self-improvement.
But beneath the surface of his burning resolve, there existed a glimmer of a different purpose. It was the realization that vengeance alone could not fill the void left by his loved ones. There was a need to honor their memories, to carry them within his heart and ensure that their legacy lived on.
With a heavy heart, Naruto turned his gaze towards the distant horizon, where the remnants of the Alvarez Empire's warships had vanished. His eyes, once filled with rage and cold determination, now held a flicker of sorrow and understanding. He recognized that not all of those aboard the ships were driven by malice or a lust for power. Many were simply pawns caught in a greater game, their lives tossed aside in the pursuit of conquest.
Though his grief and anger still simmered within, Naruto knew that he must strive to find a balance, to seek justice while preserving the lives of the innocent. The cycle of hatred and violence must be broken, and he would endeavor to find a path that upheld the values of peace and compassion.
As the storm gradually subsided, Naruto rose from his kneeling position, his small form illuminated by the fading remnants of crimson lightning. The weight of his mission settled upon his young shoulders, but he stood tall, resolute in his purpose.
With one last glance at the scarred battlefield, Naruto turned his back on the wreckage, determined to carve a new path for himself—one that would honor the memories of those he had lost and safeguard the futures of those who remained.
And so, with the echoes of the storm still reverberating in his wake, Naruto embarked on a journey of self-discovery and growth, his steps guided by the teachings of his fallen loved ones and fueled by an unwavering determination to shape a brighter future.
Era, a town nestled at the foot of a majestic rocky mountain, hummed with its usual tranquility. The townsfolk went about their daily lives, unaware of the emergency meeting taking place within the hallowed halls of the Magic Council headquarters. As the highest authority in the world of Magic, the Council had the responsibility of safeguarding Fiore and its inhabitants from any threats that may arise.
Inside the meeting room, tension hung in the air as the council members gathered around a large lacrima, which displayed the sensory view from the Etherion satellite. The image showed the devastating impact of the fallen meteors, a sight that had taken them by surprise.
"It is troubling indeed," one of the council elders mused, his voice filled with concern. "We didn't anticipate such a catastrophic event. How could something like this happen?"
The room filled with murmurs and speculation, as the council members exchanged worried glances. They debated the possibility of the meteors' descent being caused by a powerful magical spell, contemplating the reasons behind such an event occurring seemingly out of nowhere.
In the midst of their discussion, the door to the meeting room swung open with a resounding thud. A small, frog-like creature hastily entered, clearly in a state of urgency. It approached the council with a mixture of trepidation and determination, bowing respectfully before delivering its report.
"Honorable council members, I apologize for the interruption. There is an immediate matter that requires your attention," the creature croaked, its voice carrying a note of urgency.
The council chairman, a figure of calm and authority, beckoned the creature to elaborate. It shared the news of a colossal magical signature detected at the crash site of the meteor, followed by its sudden disappearance. Furthermore, the creature informed them of a large storm approaching from the same direction, raising concerns about the potential threat this mysterious force may pose.
Gasps and whispers erupted among the council members. The sheer magnitude of the magical signature left them astounded, as they struggled to comprehend how someone could possess such power and vanish without a trace.
"Could it be a monster? A dragon, perhaps?" one council member exclaimed, his voice filled with alarm.
"Dragons have been extinct for centuries. It's highly unlikely," another member interjected.
Hours passed as the council engaged in heated debates and discussions, attempting to unravel the enigma before them. Eventually, amidst the chaos of conflicting opinions, a consensus emerged.
"We must exercise caution and vigilance," the chairman declared firmly. "We will monitor all newcomers entering Ishgar, comparing their magical signatures with the one detected at the crash site. We cannot afford to underestimate any potential threats that may jeopardize the safety of Fiore."
The council members dispersed, each tasked with specific duties and responsibilities to ensure the protection of Ishgar. However, lurking beneath their collective concern was a sense of ambition, for the possibility of harnessing such immense power was not lost on them. They contemplated the idea of controlling this mysterious entity, making it their pawn to further their own agendas.
Unbeknownst to them, the challenges that lay ahead were far greater than they could imagine. As the council strategized and made plans, a storm of unprecedented proportions approached Ishgar, a storm that would test their resolve and force them to confront the unknown, changing the course of events upside-down.
As Naruto wandered aimlessly, his body slowly healing from the physical wounds inflicted upon him, he clutched Seliah's book tightly to his chest. His once vibrant blue eyes, which had radiated with life and emotion, now appeared empty and devoid of any spark.
The pain he felt was not only physical but also deeply rooted in his shattered sense of belonging. In the past, despite the hardships he faced, he had found solace in the warmth and love of his family and friends. But now, those bonds seemed distant and fractured.
With each passing moment, the thought that he was destined to be alone, without anyone to call his own, plagued his mind. The weight of loneliness and abandonment intensified the pain he felt, threatening to consume him entirely.
Just as Naruto's thoughts drifted towards a bleak and desolate future, his attention was drawn to the sound of flapping wings and crackling fire. Confusion etched across his face as he wondered how there could be a fire in the middle of the vast sea.
Looking upwards, he witnessed a sight that astonished him even in his emotionally numb state. Descending gracefully from the sky was a magnificent Phoenix, its feathers ablaze with vibrant red hues and radiant golden flames. Its piercing blue eyes, unlike any shade he had encountered before, locked onto Naruto's birthmark, visible on his neck.
"Child, what are you doing here? And judging from your ability to walk on water, you must be from Konoha, correct?" The Phoenix's voice was both authoritative and gentle, its tone commanding respect. Yet, it carried an underlying concern for Naruto's well-being.
Unfazed by the mention of his village, Naruto responded with a detached voice, devoid of any trace of his usual enthusiasm. "Yes, I know of Konoha. There is a connection between your kind and the royal bloodline, isn't there?" He glanced at his birthmark, the symbol of his heritage, but dismissed it as a trivial matter. There were more pressing concerns on his mind.
Observing Naruto's somber state, Ablaze, the Phoenix, couldn't help but sympathize. "Indeed, I know who you are. Perhaps you don't know of me, but I am Ablaze. What is your name, young one? And why are you outside your village?"
"I am Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, and my village... no longer exists," Naruto's voice trembled with a mix of depression and sorrow, carrying the weight of loss and devastation that had befallen Konoha.
Ablaze's eyes narrowed, reflecting a mixture of sadness and resolve. He had sensed Naruto's presence and received a notification from their legendary tool about the boy's position. The destruction of Naruto's village had brought him here, but the Phoenix realized the crucial question that needed to be asked.
"What will you do from now on?" Ablaze inquired, genuinely curious about Naruto's current state of mind.
"I don't know," Naruto replied, his grip tightening on Seliah's book. "But I intend to travel to Ishgar and fulfill a promise I made to someone dear..." His gaze shifted towards Ablaze, searching for answers in the Phoenix's majestic presence.
Ablaze's mind raced, considering the options before him. He could reveal everything to Naruto, informing him of his destiny and the role he would play. Alternatively, he could choose to shield the boy from the burdens of his fate, allowing him to find happiness and lead a fulfilling life. Judging by the book in Naruto's possession, Ablaze suspected that the young shinobi already had important tasks to fulfill.
Opting for the latter, Ablaze spoke, his voice filled with purpose. "Child, we are a clan of mystical beasts, and we come to this world only when permitted. I have descended here because I desire you to be our summoner," Ablaze explained, his fiery gaze fixed upon Naruto. Yet, his attention momentarily flickered towards the intricate sword-like tattoo on Naruto's neck, a symbol that held significance.
Naruto, lost in his own thoughts, contemplated Ablaze's offer. His eyes narrowed as he scrutinized the Phoenix, activating his Devil eyes to discern any illusions or hidden motives. To his relief, he confirmed that Ablaze was indeed a genuine Phoenix, not an enemy's deceitful trap.
"Why would you... I mean, why do you want someone like me, with this ominous aura and perceived evil, to be your summoner?" Naruto's voice quivered with a mixture of confusion and self-doubt. He was acutely aware that the world harbored animosity towards him, and the only remaining person who cared for him was sealed within Seliah's book.
Ablaze's gaze softened, understanding the weight of Naruto's emotional burden. He replied with a gentle sincerity, "Child, the judgment you place upon yourself is born from the pain you have endured. But darkness does not define one's worth. You possess a strength and resilience that few can comprehend."
As Naruto listened intently, Ablaze continued, "Our clan sees the potential within you, the ability to rise above the hardships and wield your power for noble purposes. We seek a bond with a summoner who can become a beacon of hope, guiding others through their darkest moments. You have that potential, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze."
A flicker of uncertainty and vulnerability crossed Naruto's features, his grip on Seliah's book loosening slightly. The idea of embracing his own strength and becoming a source of inspiration for others resonated within him. However, the scars of betrayal and isolation remained fresh in his mind, casting doubt upon his ability to trust once more.
Ablaze, perceptive to Naruto's inner struggle, spoke gently, "I understand your hesitations, Naruto. Trust is not something easily given, especially after enduring such hardships. But remember, in this vast world, there are those who will accept and support you. The bonds you forge can become pillars of strength, guiding you on your journey."
Naruto's gaze wavered, torn between the weight of his past and the glimmer of hope presented before him. He tightened his grip on Seliah's book, finding solace in its presence, but a newfound determination sparked within him. He yearned to break free from the chains of loneliness and find a purpose beyond the pain he carried.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto met Ablaze's unwavering gaze and made his decision. "Ablaze, I may not fully understand what lies ahead, but I am willing to trust you.."
"You are not an evil child; you have simply lost trust in humanity. However, there are exceptions to what you believe, and I am one such exception. Though my time in this world is limited, I will be by your side until the end," Ablaze explained, his voice soothing yet resolute. But as he spoke, he couldn't help but notice the mix of hope and pain reflected in Naruto's expression.
Naruto's voice trembled with a tinge of sadness as he responded, "So, you will also leave me eventually, just like everyone else. It feels like I am cursed or something. I can't have many friends because most of them will be afraid of me until every ounce of this dark energy is absorbed into this seal. And those who accept me will eventually perish!"
Ablaze's fiery gaze softened, his immense presence offering a sense of reassurance. "No, child, I will be with you, but I cannot be with you forever. I must return to my world once the energy I brought with me is depleted. However, you will have the ability to summon me, provided you fulfill certain conditions."
Naruto's face lit up with a glimmer of hope, yet confusion soon followed, and he tilted his head with childlike innocence, a quality he seemed to have lost. "But what does summoning mean? How much time do you have, and what conditions must I fulfill?"
Ablaze released a sigh, realizing the need to patiently train and guide this young boy. "Child, let's discuss this on our way to Ishgar. We will find an isolated place to train you and unlock the depths of your magic."
Naruto nodded, preparing to use his Wind All Slayer Magic to fly. But before he could take off, he yelped as he was suddenly lifted high into the skies, disappearing amidst the billowing clouds. When he opened his eyes, he found himself riding on Ablaze's back, a soft and comforting surface beneath him. His initial panic subsided.
Noticing Naruto's discomfort, Ablaze sighed once more. "Naruto, my flames harm only those I wish to harm. Phoenixes are known for their exceptional control over their element, not for their destructive powers. Do you understand?"
Naruto remained silent, slowly easing into a sense of calm. Control. If he could gain control over his powers, perhaps he could rewrite his own destiny.
As Naruto glanced upward, he could swear he saw the figures of the villagers, even those who had harbored dislike for him, waving at him from the heavens. His heart swelled as he saw his family, their faces filled with warmth and relief. Though their words were inaudible, he could read their lips perfectly:
"Be safe. We will be watching over you."
A genuine and gentle smile graced Naruto's lips. He then turned his attention to the land below. So, this was Ishgar. But something clicked within him, and he directed his gaze back to Ablaze.
"Regarding my questions..." Naruto inquired, his curiosity piqued.
Ablaze tilted his head back, meeting Naruto's gaze, and then looked forward as they continued their journey. "I have three years to spend with you on this land. As for summoning, you can call upon me wherever you desire, but you must sign our clan's contract. However, only I and some small hatchlings, who cannot speak, can be summoned."
Naruto pondered over Ablaze's words, absorbing the information. He then posed another question, seeking clarity. "That's fine, but what are these conditions you mentioned? And where exactly are we heading?"
"You must defeat our lost king, the one who has gone astray, in order to restore balance and pave the way for a rightful successor to claim the throne," Ablaze responded with a sense of urgency. "Once this task is accomplished, I will be able to return to the ashes from which I emerged. And once you fulfill this crucial condition, you will gain the ability to summon me."
Naruto absorbed Ablaze's words, feeling the weight of the responsibility ahead. He understood the significance of this quest, not only for the Phoenix clan but also for himself. The path before him was uncertain, but he was determined to embrace it with all his strength.
As the sun began to cast its golden hues upon the world, Naruto gazed at its radiant light, a symbol of hope and new beginnings. The ring on his finger, a memento of his parent's love and guidance, shimmered with a gleeful shine, as if encouraging him to embark on this new journey.
"I accept this challenge," Naruto declared, his voice filled with determination. "I will defeat the lost king and bring balance to the Phoenix clan. And once I fulfill this condition, I will summon you, Ablaze, whenever I need your guidance and strength."
Ablaze nodded, his fiery eyes reflecting pride and approval. "I believe in you, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. Together, we shall overcome the trials that lie ahead."
With a newfound sense of purpose, Naruto tightened his grip on Seliah's book, a symbol of his unwavering bond with his fallen friend. He trusted that her spirit would guide him, just as his family and friends watched over him from the heavens.
The journey to Ishgar continued, Naruto and Ablaze soaring through the sky. Along the way, Ablaze imparted his wisdom, teaching Naruto how to channel and control his magic, honing his skills as not only a Storm All Slayer but as a student of the mighty Ablaze. Together, they ventured into isolated regions, training in the harmony of fire and wind, unlocking Naruto's potential.
As time passed, Naruto's once lifeless blue eyes regained their spark, reflecting the resilience and determination that burned within him. He became more adept at controlling his powers, blending the ferocity of the wind with the intensity of flames. Ablaze watched with pride as Naruto embraced his true nature, transforming from a boy burdened by loneliness to a formidable force of nature.
In their training, Naruto discovered not only the strength of his magic but also the strength within his heart. He met kind souls along their journey, individuals who defied the prejudices that had plagued his past. These encounters reminded him that not everyone would judge him solely by his appearance or past tragedies.
The lost king awaited him, a final test that would determine the fate of the Phoenix clan and his own.
With Ablaze by his side, Naruto stepped forward, ready to face the challenges ahead. His journey to Ishgar had transformed from a quest for redemption into a quest for a new beginning, a chance to forge his own path and find his place in a world that had once rejected him.
As they ventured forth, the echoes of his loved ones' whispers filled his heart, a reminder that he was never truly alone. Naruto's steps were guided by their love, Seliah's book clasped tightly to his chest, and Ablaze soaring alongside him, a symbol of unwavering support.
Together, they would rise, their flames intertwining, igniting a legacy that would shape the future of both Naruto and the mystical realm of Ishgar.

Nothing to say again, I hope you review! Please thats my only request here, its oddly motivating, and in these times where feedback is instantaneous on any social platform, it seems kinda demotivating to put in so much work to just end up getting no response at all on any of these chapters.
