My beautiful garden

POV Aqua

It was truly a wonderful experience, one that left a deep imprint on my soul. Since I emerged from the realm of darkness, I hadn't experienced anything so gratifying. I smiled genuinely and laughed with sincere joy. During that time, I managed to leave behind all my troubles and worries, immersing myself completely in that fleeting happiness. It's regrettable that it passed by so quickly; I long for the opportunity to relive it once again. It's hard for me to comprehend how you're able to evoke such well-being in me, even though it also makes me uneasy to feel nervous in your presence.

It has barely been a day since then, but it feels like an eternity has passed. I've decided to push those thoughts aside, as who knows when I'll encounter Sora again. What I do know for certain is that this experience has shown me that I can be happy from now on. What happened yesterday was a resounding proof of that, and it fills me with great joy, although it may sound redundant to express it that way.

POV Sora

I can't believe I actually said that. I can't comprehend how I mustered the courage to directly tell Aqua that she's beautiful. I have no idea how the hell I managed to say those words, I swear to God I had the intention of saying something completely different. However, I don't feel any regret. Aqua is undeniably gorgeous, especially under the gentle moonlight. When we were dancing together, I experienced an indescribable sensation. My heart was beating so fiercely, it felt like it wanted to escape from my chest. Now, I can't get her out of my thoughts for a single second. I only wish for one thing, and that is to see her... to see her again and relive those intense emotions she makes me feel. What have you done to me, Aqua? You've awakened something within me that consumes me entirely.

The dining room of their home was filled with an emotionally charged atmosphere. Aqua sat alongside Terra and Ven as they shared breakfast, yet both young men couldn't take their eyes off her. Aqua remained absorbed, her gaze fixed on her plate of food, without even taking a bite. She absentmindedly played with the cutlery on her plate, maintaining a small smile on her lips. Unaware of the intensity with which Terra and Ven observed her, her mind continued to replay the memory of the previous night with Sora. It was inevitable for her, no matter how much she tried, to not be able to push those thoughts aside, and it didn't bother her in the slightest.

Suddenly, the silence was broken when the blond spoke Aqua's name, seeking to capture her attention. However, she didn't respond or make any gesture in response to his call. This further puzzled the two boys who watched her attentively. The blond tried again, calling her once more: "Aqua." But once again, Aqua seemed oblivious to his call, as if she was in another place. It was then that the blond raised his voice, pronouncing her name with greater insistence: "Aqua!" This time, he managed to snap her out of her reverie, causing her to look towards him.

Ven's question, accompanied by the perplexed gazes of both boys, made Aqua realize her own state. "I'm sorry, Ven. Is something wrong?" she softly uttered, though her voice betrayed a hint of confusion. Both boys glanced at each other, sharing a mix of concern and curiosity. It was evident that something was happening to Aqua, and they wished to understand what it was.

Terra took the initiative and asked sincerely, "Are you okay? You've been staring at your plate since we sat down." Aqua blinked twice, as if she had awakened from a deep sleep. She had completely forgotten that she was sharing breakfast with Ven and Terra.

"Oh, yes, I'm fine," Aqua replied with a small smile. Although her response seemed calm, both boys remained intrigued and concerned about the young woman's behavior. While it was true that Aqua tended to be thoughtful, they had never seen her with a genuine smile or filled with joy before. Although they were glad to see her like this, they also yearned to understand the reason behind her unusual mood.

"You seem happier today," Terra commented with a small smile. Seeing Aqua radiant with happiness was something he loved, but at the same time, he longed to discover the reason behind the change in her mood. Perhaps something significant happened during last night's party that lifted her spirits. "Could it be because of the party last night?" Terra inquired, seeking some clues. Aqua once again averted her gaze to her plate of food, maintaining a subtle smile on her lips.

"Yes," Aqua replied concisely. The young woman's response further intrigued the boys, who were now even more interested in finding out what had uplifted her during last night's party. If they remembered correctly, Aqua had spent the entire night sitting at a table without moving an inch.

"Care to share what it was?" the blond asked with a smile, observing his friend with curiosity. Aqua, the blue-haired girl, plunged into a brief pause, reflecting on how to respond. She didn't know how they would react if she confessed that the reason for her happiness was Sora. This complicated situation made her carefully weigh her words.

"Just... seeing everyone gathered again and happy lifted my spirits," Aqua responded. In a way, she wasn't lying. The joy emanating from the reunion and the happiness of her friends had also impacted her own emotional state. Terra and Ven smiled contentedly upon hearing her answer, unaware that there was more behind her apparent joy.

"We're glad to hear that, Aqua," Terra mentioned with a smile. After those words, the three of them continued their breakfast in comfortable silence. Then each of them went about their daily activities. Aqua, as usual, headed to her favorite spot with a book in her hands. This time she had chosen a purely romantic novel, thinking it would be a good idea to immerse herself in a love story. She began reading the book calmly and tranquilly.

As she progressed through the story, Aqua imagined the scenes described in the book, allowing her mind to be swept away by the events unfolding on the pages. Her heart beat more intensely during the romantic passages, experiencing sensations that she enjoyed. However, she knew that even that didn't compare to 10% of what she had felt with Sora yesterday. Even as she read, she couldn't push those thoughts out of her mind. Although she enjoyed indulging in those thoughts, as it completely pushed away her darkest thoughts.

Usually, every night Aqua was plagued by nightmares related to the Realm of Darkness and how she continued to be trapped in that place. However, that night after the party was different. When she lay down to sleep, it felt as if she hadn't experienced restful sleep in years. It was as if the comforting warmth and sensation that Sora had transmitted to her during that night completely freed her from her torment, both during the day and at night.

The day went by smoothly. Each of them carried out their daily activities. Ven, from time to time, would visit Aqua to play together, something to which she always agreed without objection. Playing with Ven filled her with joy, as he was like her younger brother, and seeing him smile was a source of immense happiness for her. At that moment, they were playing hide-and-seek, with Aqua being the one in charge of finding Ven.

"Ven, sooner or later I'll find you," Aqua spoke aloud, her determination resonating in each word as she searched for the blond boy in every corner of her home

"Give up, Aqua. You know Ven is really good at playing hide-and-seek," Terra commented, sitting on the couch in their home. His voice conveyed a tone of complicity, acknowledging Ven's skill at the game. But Aqua wasn't willing to give up.

"Of course not, I'm going to find him," Aqua exclaimed with determination as she meticulously examined every corner of the room. At that moment, Terra signaled her with his eyes, directing her attention to a specific spot. Aqua followed his gaze and, as she focused completely, noticed a pair of feet sticking out from under some curtains. A small smile formed on her lips as she approached the designated spot slowly. With determination and delicacy, she pulled back the curtains, revealing Ven hidden there.

"I found you!" Aqua exclaimed with a mixture of joy and satisfaction in her voice.

"It's not fair," the boy complained, crossing his arms. His expression reflected a mix of frustration and discontent. "Terra told you where I was, I'm sure of it," he added with conviction. Terra, upon hearing the boy's statement, let out a small laugh, and Aqua joined in the amusement.

Determined to clear his thoughts, the boy smiled and made his way towards the front door of their home. "I'm going for a walk outside," he announced. "That way, you two can have some time alone." As he left the house, Aqua blinked twice at his words, while Terra blushed slightly.

The boy, feeling embarrassed, chuckled and looked at Aqua, who sat by his right side. It was evident to everyone that they hadn't had much alone time in a long while. No one ignored the fact that Terra had feelings for Aqua; it was something that could be seen from a distance, from the first day he laid eyes on her. That enchanted gaze was the beginning of a love that grew slowly, and Aqua even imagined a future with him. But unfortunately, after recent events, those feelings towards Terra had gradually diminished.

When they finally emerged from the Realm of Darkness and everything was over, Aqua, Ventus, and Terra decided to start anew in their home as a family. For Aqua, this was the moment she had longed for with all her heart: to finally be with Terra. However, things turned out to be different from what she had imagined.

That previous kiss they had shared when they confessed their feelings for each other didn't entirely convince Aqua. She was supposed to feel happy and filled with joy, right? That was what she had dreamt of for so long. But, as I mentioned before, she didn't feel like she was kissing Terra, but rather Xehanort, which caused her revulsion and disgust in various forms. It wasn't Terra's fault; he wasn't to blame for those thoughts tormenting her mind. The guilt lay within herself for not being able to leave the past where it belonged, in the past.

Terra had told her to take her time when she mentioned that she wasn't ready for a relationship with him. He understood and accepted it calmly, knowing that Aqua had gone through many traumatic experiences in the Realm of Darkness. Despite that, whenever he had the chance to approach her romantically to see if she was ready to be with him, Aqua avoided those romantic situations at all costs.

Aqua's internal struggle was deep and complex. She felt trapped between her desire to be with Terra and her inability to separate the painful memories from the past from the present reality. She was aware that Terra didn't deserve to be associated with the shadows that haunted her, but her thoughts remained entangled in a tangle of emotions and confusion.

Now, after what happened the previous night, Aqua's mind was plunged into absolute chaos. On one hand, there was Terra, the person she had loved and longed for all this time. The person she had dreamt of being with, but now it seemed impossible to reach that dream. On the other hand, her dark and gloomy thoughts haunted her constantly. What if everything happened again? What if things spiraled out of control once more just when she felt happier than ever? What if that dark place returned? What if she fell back into that deep darkness with no apparent way out?

And then there was Sora, that young man who, upon making contact with him, made her world fade away completely and filled her body with immense warmth and comfort. He was the boy who made her set aside her thoughts and bad experiences, allowing her to smile for a long time. He was the boy she never wanted to let go of, the boy who made her feel safe. However, not everything was rosy. Throughout the day, her thoughts constantly drifted towards him, mostly filled with joy and happiness. But then, doubt took hold of her. What if everything happened again?

Aqua's internal struggle intensified as she faced two uncertain paths. On one hand, Terra represented the love and deep connection she had longed for, but it was also tinged with fear and the shadows of the past. On the other hand, Sora offered her a new light and hope, but there was also the fear of losing it all once more. Aqua's thoughts oscillated between the possibility of finding happiness and the paralyzing fear of losing it all again. It was an internal battle that plunged her into deep introspection and overwhelming emotional turmoil.

Aqua found herself trapped in a profound internal conflict. Although she could now experience happiness thanks to Sora, the fear persisted in her mind. What if in the future, another catastrophe were to occur? This fear invaded her, regardless of whether she was happy with Terra, Sora, or anyone else. The idea of allowing herself to be happy terrified her. Additionally, she was still uncertain about that warm and comforting feeling that Sora inspired in her.

Suddenly, Aqua was interrupted by Terra's voice calling her. She turned her gaze towards him and noticed his expression of doubt, which confused her. "Are you okay, Aqua? You were staring into space," he asked, concerned. She hadn't realized she had been lost in her thoughts, immersed in those unsettling questions that tormented her, oblivious to Terra and her surroundings.

"Oh, sorry, Terra," Aqua apologized as she watched him move closer to her, both of them now united on the couch. At that moment, she felt a mix of gratitude and sadness. She appreciated Terra's love and concern, but at the same time, she wondered if she could ever overcome her fears and fully open up to him. She was aware that Terra deserved her full attention and affection, but she still didn't know how to break free from the chains of the past and allow love to blossom in her heart. The journey to true happiness seemed to be filled with obstacles and unanswered questions.

"Those thoughts again?" Terra knew Aqua perfectly. She nodded in response, not daring to look at him. "I know I've told you many times, but you have to stop thinking about it. It's all over, I'm fine, Ven is fine, you're fine," Terra expressed with conviction. Aqua knew it, she knew it better than anyone, but still, it was difficult to let go of those thoughts.

"I know, it's just... well, you know, those thoughts don't just disappear overnight," Aqua replied as Terra placed his comforting hand on her shoulder, just as he used to do to offer her encouragement.

"I know, don't worry," Aqua responded with a smile, looking directly into Terra's eyes. Terra loved getting lost in Aqua's blue eyes. To him, they were hypnotic and filled with beauty. But as Aqua looked at him, she didn't feel anything in particular. Unfortunately, she couldn't experience that intense love she used to have for him anymore. When she looked at Terra for a long time, she only saw Xehanort, and that filled her with sorrow.

The connection that once existed between Aqua and Terra was now tainted by the past and the shadows that stood between them. Despite Terra's efforts to provide comfort and support, Aqua found herself in a state of ambiguity and emotional confusion. She longed to find her way back to the feelings she once had, but she didn't know if it was possible or if she simply had to accept that things had irreversibly changed.

"Yes," Aqua whispered, limiting her response. At that moment, Terra slid the hand that was on Aqua's shoulder to her other shoulder, embracing her. Aqua stood still, allowing Terra to hold her. Perhaps it was exactly what she needed at that moment, a comforting embrace.

"Everything will be alright," Terra whispered sweetly as he held Aqua in his arms. She allowed herself to be embraced without resistance. She couldn't deny that, despite telling Terra that she wasn't ready for a relationship yet, he always tried to cheer her up and be there for her in any way he could. His unwavering support and affection were something Aqua deeply valued.

Once the embrace ended, which lasted for several minutes, Aqua got up from the couch and went up to her room. She fell onto her bed and stared at the ceiling, immersed in her thoughts about what to do next. The idea of reading didn't appeal to her as she had done it recently and didn't feel motivated to continue. She looked out of her room window and noticed that the sun was still shining. Then, the idea of visiting her flower garden emerged in her mind.

Throughout this time, Aqua had also developed an interest in gardening. This activity distracted her and allowed her to find peace in observing how her little plants grew, strengthening and filling the space with their beauty.

She decided that visiting her flower garden would be a perfect way to clear her mind and find some peace amidst the emotional storm that engulfed her. She descended the stairs with determination and headed outside, where she hoped the beauty of the flowers and the contact with nature would provide her with a respite and a moment of tranquility.

"Rikuuuu, I'm bored," complained Sora, lying on the couch as he watched Riku, who was sitting in another armchair, absorbed in reading a book. "Let's play something," Sora proposed, getting up from the couch with enthusiasm.

"No, I'm reading," responded Riku. Sora simply sighed at that response. Riku had spent the whole day immersed in his books. It's not that Sora was against reading, but he would prefer to be read to rather than reading on his own.

"Come on, you've been reading all day, aren't you bored?" insisted Sora. Riku sighed again, shifted his gaze from his book, and directed it towards Sora, who was staring at him intently.

"Reading is fun, you should give it a try," affirmed Riku. Sora sighed once more, aware that whatever he did at that moment wouldn't convince Riku to play or do something together. So, in silence, he made his way to the island's port, where he used to spend his time as a child.

"Read? No, thanks. I'm not one of those people who read," whispered Sora, somewhat annoyed that neither Kairi nor Riku wanted to play or do something similar. Sora sat there, observing the waves of the sea, which transmitted a great sense of calm to him. Ever since he was a child, watching the waves always relaxed him. He remembered when he used to imagine what lay beyond those waves, what was behind that vast ocean. Now he knew, and he loved it because he had fulfilled his dream of exploring the world around him. He knew countless places and had friends in each of them.

His thoughts were interrupted when he remembered something important. "Of course! Friends, that's it!" he exclaimed aloud, filled with enthusiasm. He had completely forgotten that after the battle against Xehanort, each of his friends had been given a Gummiphone to communicate with each other in case any problems arose. Although it was unlikely that anything bad would happen, they had been given them just in case, as a precautionary measure.

Sora wasted no time and took out his Gummiphone, determined to contact each of his friends to see if anyone wanted to spend time together. The first ones to receive his call were his dear friends Donald and Goofy. However, to his disappointment, they informed him that they were busy helping Mickey take down the decorations from last night's party. Although he felt a little discouraged, he knew he still had other friends to call, and he trusted that at least one of them would be available to hang out.

Unfortunately, none of the friends he called at that moment could accept his invitation. Roxas mentioned that he was feeling tired after last night's party, while Xion and Axel expressed similar sentiments. Naminé told him that she had matters to attend to and was busy. At that moment, the only three friends he had left were Terra, Aqua, and Ven. Sora knew that among them, Ven was the one he knew the most, so he decided to call him first, hoping he would say yes.

"You're my last hope, Ven," Sora whispered as he dialed Ven's number on his Gummiphone, anxiously awaiting his response to spending time together. He felt a strong need to break free from the boredom that had consumed him, and he trusted that Ven's company would be the perfect solution. While he would prefer to have Riku or Kairi by his side, he knew they had their own responsibilities and couldn't join him at that moment. However, that didn't discourage him. Sora was determined to enjoy the day with Ven, cherishing every moment of their friendship.

After several unsuccessful calls, Ven finally answered and agreed to spend the rest of the day with Sora. A feeling of relief and excitement washed over Sora. Immediately, he hopped onto his Gummi Ship and headed towards Ven's home. The anticipation of seeing his friend and the prospect of sharing adventures together filled his heart with joy.

Sora remembered the words that many of his friends would say to him from time to time, mentioning how he sometimes seemed like a little child. Although some might consider him immature, he saw himself as someone very mature, if not more so than all his friends. He knew he had lived through experiences that had transformed him and matured him through his journeys and challenges. However, he also recognized the importance of keeping the spark of joy and innocence alive in his heart.

"Sometimes I think Sora has the mindset of a 4-year-old," Ven whispered to himself as he gazed upon the vast and beautiful meadow. He knew he had to hurry back home, as he was well aware of Sora's energetic and enthusiastic nature, and Sora was likely racing towards his location at that very moment. Ven wanted to spend time with Sora; he was a very special friend, not just to Ven but to everyone. He couldn't imagine what they would do without him, as Sora had been a key figure who had helped them all, fulfilling the dreams and wishes of their friends.

Upon reaching his home, Ven found Terra engrossed in reading. He assumed Aqua would be either in her room or in the garden. Occasionally, Ven enjoyed helping her with her garden, as he cherished spending time with his dear friend. Making his way to his room, Ven grabbed two wooden Keyblades. Although training with them was no longer necessary, since the worlds were at peace and free from danger, he couldn't think of a better way to play with Sora. He quickly descended to the entrance of his home and prepared to wait for Sora, knowing he wouldn't be long in coming.

Time passed uneventfully as Ven sat outside his home in the Land of Departure, on those grand white stairs. With patience, he awaited Sora's landing in his Gummi Ship. Approximately thirty minutes passed until the red ship finally appeared in the blue sky and began descending slowly, coming to rest at the foot of the stairs, in that wide area where he, Terra, and Aqua used to train when they were apprentices.

Sora disembarked from the ship, sporting a radiant smile filled with joy and happiness, as was customary for him. The sunlight illuminated his face, highlighting his determined eyes and his hair tousled by the speed of the journey. It was as if his mere presence could fill any place with energy and enthusiasm.

Ven couldn't help but smile as well at the sight of his friend. The simple sight of Sora was enough to make problems and worries fade away. He was a beacon of hope in dark times and an endless source of positivity and bravery. With just a glance, Sora was able to instill in Ven a sense of confidence.

"Hey, Sora," greeted the blond as he finally reached the bottom of the stairs and thus met up with Sora. "Before you arrived, I was thinking ahead about what we could do."

"Ven!" exclaimed Sora with excitement, his voice resonating with joy as he spotted the blond descending the wide stairs with patience. They finally met at the foot of the stairs.

"Hi, Sora," greeted the blond once he reached the base of the stairs, approaching his friend. "Before you came, I was contemplating what we could do."

With a suggestive gesture, Ven displayed the two wooden Keyblades he held in his hands. "I thought we could have a battle with these wooden Keyblades. While it's no longer necessary for us to use our real Keyblades, it could still be fun," he explained with a smile. Sora took the wooden Keyblade, nodding his head as he smiled. A quick spar wouldn't hurt. Although both of them possessed real Keyblades, Ventus knew Sora's temperament and understood that it was likely someone would get hurt. Therefore, the wooden Keyblades, although they could still inflict some damage with a simple strike, wouldn't pose as extreme a threat as a deep cut. Ventus just wanted to be cautious, nothing more.

Being in the garden is extremely comforting. I am pleased to see the meticulously cared-for flowers blossoming exquisitely in this environment. The variety of colors is astonishing: red, blue, yellow, violet. Some may find this monotonous, but for me, it is the most captivating activity in the world. This place represents my sanctuary, where I retreat when I desire to clear my thoughts or reflect without any distractions. It is my little personal haven.

Here, I tend to, beautify, and protect everything that flourishes in this space. Occasionally, Terra and Ven come to help me, which is fantastic as we collectively expand this beloved little garden. I cannot even fathom what I would do if anything were to happen here.

"It seems this flower is about to unfold its splendor," I remarked as I observed one of the flowers in the vicinity nearing its full bloom. Perhaps today or tomorrow, it would fully blossom. What I take the most pride in is that none of my flowers have withered. This brings me immense joy as it is tangible evidence that I am carrying out an exceptional task in caring for these flowers in my little garden.

Oh, I almost forgot to water my precious blue rose," I whispered with a touch of concern. Among all my flowers, there is one blue rose, my favorite. It was the first flower to bloom in this garden. From the moment I first laid eyes on it, it intrigued me, and I immediately delved into researching about it. Never before in my life had I witnessed a rose of such blue hue.

Through extensive research, I discovered that blue roses are a rather recent and sparsely documented phenomenon. Unfortunately, these flowers are not entirely natural. Mostly, they are the result of genetic modification of plants. Through genetic biotechnology, the genes of traditional roses were manipulated to introduce the blue pigment. However, I also found information suggesting that blue roses can exist naturally, although the likelihood of a rose appearing in this captivating hue is extraordinarily low, making it a unique rarity. Only a fortunate few have the opportunity to witness such a marvel.

To my surprise and delight, I have managed to have one of these blue roses in my garden. It is one of the best gifts that life has bestowed upon me since I emerged from the realm of darkness. Perhaps it is a gift from destiny, a symbol of hope and beauty after the torments I went through.

It is a treasure that symbolizes beauty and uniqueness in my garden. Its presence stands out among all the other flowers, and every time I gaze upon it, I am filled with awe and gratitude for the fortune of nurturing it in this special space.

"It is very special to me."

Not even a brief span of 5 seconds had passed when Sora and Ven had already lost interest in the game with the wooden Keyblades. Simulating battles with those rudimentary instruments lacked excitement after facing real dangers and large-scale combat. Therefore, Ventus suggested a more thrilling alternative: playing hide-and-seek. This game of search and discovery was much more interesting and entertaining than simply engaging in simulated combat.

After several rounds of searching, taking turns as the seeker, it was now Ven's turn to assume that role, and it was Sora's turn to find a suitable hiding place. Ven wasn't thrilled about being the seeker since he preferred hiding and enjoying the thrill of being discovered. However, he understood that he couldn't let Sora be the seeker all the time, and he himself wasn't particularly skilled at searching. Additionally, the challenge of exploring outside their home, scrutinizing every tree, bush, and nook in the surroundings, added an extra level of difficulty to the endeavor. Although Ven had been successful in the previous rounds in finding Sora, he was aware that this time Sora wouldn't make it as easy for him as before.

As for Sora, at that very moment, he was perched atop a tree, resting on a sturdy branch that supported his weight. Thanks to the dense foliage that surrounded him, his hiding spot was perfectly camouflaged. It would be completely impossible for Ven to discover him in that place. Sora leaned against the tree trunk, placing his hands behind his head as he closed his eyes.

"Perhaps a short nap wouldn't hurt," he whispered softly, allowing the whisper of the breeze, the rustling of leaves, and the gentle sounds of small animals to lull him into a deep sleep.

Several minutes passed as Ven tirelessly searched for Sora, scouring every corner in his quest. However, the task proved fruitless, and frustration began to take hold of him. He decided to turn to Aqua or Terra, hoping to obtain some clue about Sora's whereabouts. As expected, Sora hadn't made it easy for him this time. When he approached Terra and asked, unfortunately, Terra had no knowledge of Sora's whereabouts. Ven still harbored a glimmer of hope in finding Sora and turned to Aqua. Perhaps, being in the garden, she had spotted Sora pass by or knew where he had hidden.

Finally, Ven arrived at the garden, and there he saw her: Aqua, the young Keyblade Master, sitting in the center of the garden, carefully choosing a spot where none of her precious flowers would be stepped on. She was immersed in the contemplation of the silence, the breeze, and the warm sun.

"Aqua," called out the blonde, capturing the attention of the bearer of blue hair, who stood up as she watched the young man approach cautiously to avoid damaging any flowers. "Hello, Aqua," he greeted her with a smile.

"Hello, Ven," Aqua responded with a smile as well, thinking that perhaps Ven wanted to play with her or help in the garden. "Is there something you need?" Ven simply nodded happily.

"I want to ask you something," he announced. Aqua blinked a couple of times, then nodded as a sign that Ven could proceed with his question. "By any chance, have you seen Sora?" Aqua was confused by the blonde's words. Sora? She didn't quite understand what he was referring to. As far as she knew, Sora wasn't in this world, let alone there with her.

"Sora?" Aqua asked, perplexed, tilting her head slightly to the right in a gesture of bewilderment. The blonde simply smiled and nodded before continuing.

"Yes, Sora. Have you seen him?" Ven asked, his hopes evident in his voice.

"Ven, Sora isn't in our home. He must be at the Destiny Islands," Aqua emphasized, clarifying the situation. Perhaps Ven was playing a tasteless prank on her.

"Oh, right, I didn't inform you," Ven said, scratching the back of his head with a chuckle. "Sora came over to play today." Aqua showed a hint of surprise. Sora was there? That was the only idea that crossed the young woman's mind. Suddenly, she felt a million butterflies fluttering in her stomach. What was this feeling? She wondered to herself. "So, I wanted to know if you've seen him," Ven added, shifting his gaze to Aqua.

She looked at him and shook her head. "I'm sorry, Ven, I haven't seen him," she replied. Disappointment appeared on the young man's face. However, Aqua quickly proposed a solution. "But I can help you look for him." Ven's eyes lit up with enthusiasm at that offer. It was fantastic, with Aqua's help, they would find Sora faster and easier.

"Great! You're the best, Aqua," the boy smiled. Aqua returned a gentle smile, revealing her complicity with Ven's joy. She nodded in response, showing her willingness to assist in the search. Together, they headed towards the starting point where the blonde had begun counting, aiming to establish a solid base for tracking Sora. Aqua couldn't deny that she had agreed to search for him driven by the desire to see him again. Strangely, Sora's presence remained rooted in her mind, even in the moments when they were apart. The mere thought of engaging in a conversation with him was enough to fill her with excitement and anticipation. It was undeniable that these feelings arose from the events of the previous night, as if Sora had woven a subtle spell around her. Although it was a strange sensation, it didn't bother her in the slightest. If Sora wished to occupy her thoughts, she was willing to allow it without any reservations.

Ven and Aqua continued searching for Sora together, but with no success. It was evident that Sora outmatched Ven in the game of hide and seek. They meticulously explored every tree, bush, rock, and hole in the area, without finding a single clue about Sora's whereabouts.

Suddenly, Ven raised his voice, capturing Aqua's attention. "I got it!" he exclaimed, excitedly. "We should split up, that way we'll find him faster, I'm sure of it." Aqua considered it a good idea, as they could search different locations more efficiently.

"I accept," Aqua responded briefly. She watched as Ven sped off towards a distant area to begin his search for Sora. Aqua headed in the opposite direction of Ven and started looking for the blue-eyed boy. Throughout her search, questions filled her mind: What will I say if I find him? Will Ven allow us to be alone for a moment? Will I experience what I felt that night again? These uncertainties consumed her thoughts. The truth was that the mere certainty of Sora being in her home filled her with joy. After several minutes of searching, Aqua found herself exploring the trees, hoping to find Sora.

"This is impossible," Aqua complained, frustrated by the apparent impossibility of the situation. She already found it challenging to locate Ven when they played hide and seek within their home, but now, with Sora in this vast space filled with trees and bushes, his presence seemed even more elusive. Aqua undoubtedly acknowledged that hiding was a much more advantageous strategy than seeking in this game. From that moment on, she refused to take on the role of the seeker. Fortunately for her, she only had to find one person. "If there were more people, I'd go crazy," she whispered to herself as she leaned against a tree to rest for a while and contemplate which other area she could explore and search. She took a few moments to rest and reflect.

~Guu, guu~

A soft whisper escaped from the surroundings, barely audible in that place. Aqua turned quickly, her eyes scanning the environment in search of the source of that mysterious sound.

"Huh?" she murmured, her voice filled with surprise and curiosity. She turned in all directions, trying to visualize what was causing that intriguing noise.

~Guu, guu~

Following her intuition, Aqua directed her gaze upwards, towards the treetop where she had been leaning moments before. A shiver ran down her spine as she came face-to-face with a sight she had been tirelessly searching for. There, at the top of a majestic branch, he was, the young man with spiky hair, sleeping peacefully while emitting gentle snores.

Surprise engulfed Aqua, leaving her speechless. She had finally found the person she had been chasing in this game.

"~Guu, guu~"

Aqua couldn't help but release a soft laugh as she gazed upon Sora in his state of sleep. He looked so adorable and peaceful that she deduced he had dozed off after waiting for so long. It pained her slightly to have to wake him up, as he exuded such charming tranquility and peace, but she had no other choice.

"Alright, here I go," Aqua whispered as she skillfully climbed the imposing tree, reaching a branch just as large as the one Sora was seated on, right beside him. With great care, she began gently shaking him. "Hey, wake up," the young woman with blue hair whispered as she continued her movements. "Come on, sleepyhead, wake up."

A soft sigh escaped Aqua's lips as Sora remained undisturbed, still asleep. Undeterred, she started shaking him with more vigor and speed, attempting to rouse him from his deep slumber.

"Who's...," he grumbled, his eyes slowly opening. In that precise moment, Aqua ceased her movements, allowing Sora to survey his surroundings in search of the cause of his awakening. His eyes met Aqua's, leaving him completely taken aback by her proximity. A gentle blush tinted his cheeks as he softly uttered, "Waking up..."

Aqua held his gaze with tenderness and sweetness, never averting her eyes from his. In that moment, words became superfluous.

"Did you sleep well?" Aqua asked with a soft smile, looking directly into Sora's eyes. He responded with a simple nod, unable to tear his gaze away from the young woman who had awakened him.

"Y-yeah," Sora stammered, eliciting a small giggle from Aqua. "What are you doing here, Aqua?" he asked, confused by the presence of the blue-haired maiden.

"Ven asked me to help find you. It's been quite a while," Aqua explained, making an embarrassed Sora laugh, as he had thought it would just be a short nap.

"Sorry if I caused you any trouble," Sora mentioned sheepishly. He didn't want his friends to have been stressed because of him. Aqua shook her head, dissipating any concern from his mind.

In that magical instant, Sora simply nodded, immersing himself even further in the shared silence. Their gazes met, without the need for a single word. It was as if they were under a spell, completely captivated by each other's mesmerizing gaze. In that timeless space, their external world disappeared, leaving room for only the two of them.

Deep within his heart, Sora couldn't help but think of Aqua as more than just "pretty." Every second that passed without averting his gaze from her clear, water-like blue eyes filled him with an indescribable charm. No matter how hard he tried, he was unable to look away from those eyes that irresistibly drew him in.

Similarly, Aqua found herself captivated by Sora's clear eyes, which seemed to reflect the purity and serenity of the sky. She didn't fully understand why, but she felt an inexplicable fascination towards them. It was as if those eyes revealed deep secrets to her and connected her on a level beyond words.

Amidst the silence brimming with emotions, each shared gaze conveyed a profound and delicate message. Their hearts spoke in a unique and special language, weaving a bond filled with tenderness and sweetness. In that intimate space, only the two of them existed, enveloped in an aura of love that seemed to fill the universe.

In that moment, the external world paused as their souls danced to the rhythm of an invisible melody.

"Sora, where the hell are you!" exclaimed the young blond in the distance, breaking the spell that had enveloped Sora and causing him to lose his balance on the branch he was perched on, falling to the ground before Aqua's eyes, who was also startled by the sudden shout. Fortunately, she remained steady in her position without falling.

"Sora!" Aqua exclaimed with a raised voice upon seeing the boy fall from the branch to the hard ground. Without wasting a second, the young master swiftly jumped from the tree to help Sora, who lay sprawled on the ground. With concern in her eyes, she knelt beside him and asked with a fearful voice, "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah, don't worry," Sora mentioned with pain in his voice, still lying on the ground. Aqua extended her hand for Sora to grasp, helping him to stand up more easily. Sora gladly accepted the girl's hand, allowing her to assist him in getting back on his feet. In the instant their hands connected once again, Aqua experienced that special sensation she had felt the first time Sora held her hand. It was as if her entire world completely faded away, leaving room only for that immense feeling of warmth and security that coursed through her entire being. And once again, she thought the same thing as before: "I don't want you to let go..."

"I'm so clumsy," Sora mentioned, pulling Aqua out of her thoughts and bringing them back to the present moment.

"A little bit," the girl chuckled, as Sora joined in her laughter. "You should be more careful," she added, concerned for his well-being.

"I think so," Sora replied softly, once again immersing himself in the deep silence they shared. Their eyes met, communicating without the need for words, until Sora realized that he still had Aqua's hand in his. With a hint of shyness, he let go, causing a slight flicker of disappointment in Aqua's eyes, although she chose to keep her feelings silent. "Hmm, what do we do now?" Sora asked, seeking some direction in this magical moment they shared.

"Well, I was in my garden... would you like to come?" Aqua suggested, her eyes sparkling with a glimmer of excitement. Sora responded with a warm smile and nodded, eagerly accepting Aqua's invitation.

"I didn't know you had a garden, that's awesome!" Sora exclaimed with genuine joy in his voice.

Aqua smiled at his enthusiasm, surprised that Sora found her simple garden fascinating. They made their way to Aqua's garden without her even informing Ven that she had found Sora, leaving him still in search. They walked in comfortable silence, side by side, occasionally stealing furtive glances without the other noticing. Aqua would occasionally sneak a glance at the brown-haired boy beside her, while Sora also observed Aqua out of the corner of his eye, captivated by her presence. After a few minutes, they arrived at Aqua's small and charming garden.

The place was filled with colorful flowers in full bloom, emanating intoxicating fragrances that danced in the air. The gentle sound of the wind caressing the leaves of the trees created a soothing melody, while the sun poured its warm radiance over the garden. Aqua invited Sora to stroll along the carefully laid paths, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. Together, they ventured into that little natural haven, immersed in the serenity of the place.

"Oh, what a lovely garden!" exclaimed Sora, impressed by the variety of flowers unfolding before his eyes. It was simply beautiful, with flowers of different colors and sizes creating a visual symphony. Aqua was pleasantly surprised to see the expression of awe on Sora's face. She never imagined that her small garden could impress him in such a way.

"Ven, this way," Aqua indicated, leading Sora along a carefully laid path through the flowers. She wanted to make sure that neither she nor anyone else accidentally stepped on the precious flowers adorning the garden. Once in the center of the garden, Sora turned his head in all directions, amazed by the beauty of the flowers. He seemed like a young child in a candy store, which made Aqua smile tenderly.

The air was infused with a gentle floral perfume, enveloping them in a sweet fragrance that caressed their senses. The flowers seemed to whisper secrets to the wind, sharing their beauty and their love for nature. Sora approached a particular flower, admiring every detail of its delicate petals and vibrant color.

"Aqua, this is so beautiful. Did you make all of this?" Sora mentioned, gazing at the girl with admiration. Aqua simply nodded with a humble smile. To her, it was nothing extraordinary, but she appreciated that Sora recognized her work. She knew that anyone could achieve it with patience and responsibility, but that didn't diminish the merit of her dedication.

"It's amazing, you're awesome," added Sora, expressing his sincere admiration. Aqua smiled, grateful for his words. Sometimes, the recognition from someone special can make one value their own skills and efforts even more.

"Tell me, which flower do you like the most?" Sora asked, interested in knowing Aqua's preference among all the beautiful flowers in the garden.

"Come," Aqua replied, starting to walk along the path. Sora followed closely, filled with curiosity. Aqua led him to a blue rose secluded from the rest of the flowers. This particular rose had always been in the same spot, untouched by Aqua. Since it bloomed, it had remained there, a treasure amidst nature.

Upon seeing the unusual blue rose in front of him, Sora couldn't contain his excitement. He had never seen a rose of that color before, and its rarity filled him with awe. Both of them crouched down to admire it up close, marveling at its unique beauty.

Aqua gently explained, "This blue rose is my favorite."

"I've never seen one like this," the boy exclaimed, surprised, as he looked at the blue rose.

"It was the first flower that bloomed in my garden, and I hold it dear," Sora could only smile at what Aqua said. It was clear that she had put a lot of effort into her small garden, and that brought him great joy.

"What's its name?" Sora asked, and Aqua blinked in confusion at the boy's question. Its name? What? The rose? Aqua never thought that it had to have a name, she never thought of giving it one, actually.

"If it's your favorite, it should have a name, so you'll always remember it," Aqua simply shook her head at Sora's explanation.

"I had never considered the possibility of needing a name," Aqua responded with palpable sincerity. Surprise appeared on Sora's face, who quickly stood up and fixed his gaze on Aqua, seeking to understand the meaning behind her words.

"How can you say that? If that's your favorite flower, it definitely deserves to have a name," Sora emphasized with evident excitement in his voice. Although his enthusiasm was noticeable, Aqua simply let out a soft laugh in response to the boy's reaction. To her, the notion of assigning a name to a rose, no matter how cherished it was, seemed trivial. After all, the rose didn't possess life or consciousness; it was just a plant.

"I simply never thought of giving it a name," Aqua explained, trying to convey her perspective calmly. However, Sora couldn't help but feel slightly saddened by that response. After a brief moment of reflection, he decided to crouch down again, positioning himself at Aqua's eye level.

"Well, I guess it's not too late for it to have one," Sora mused in a contemplative tone. His mind immediately went to work, dedicated to finding the perfect name for Aqua's rose. He wouldn't settle for a common and ordinary name; he sought something extraordinary, something that resonated deeply in Aqua's heart. The task was not easy, but Sora was determined to surprise her with a name that was as special as the flower itself.

After a few moments of deep introspection, Sora finally had the revelation. The perfect name for Aqua's rose was born in his mind: "What do you think of Tenma?"

Aqua was taken aback upon hearing the name proposed by Sora. She had never heard anything like it before. She deduced that Sora had invented it or perhaps it came from some unexplored corner of imagination. The novelty of the name resonated in his words, and a spark of curiosity ignited in Aqua's eyes as she repeated the name in her mind.

"I've never heard that name before," Aqua murmured, her voice filled with astonishment and wonder.

"Tenma, it means 'true sky.' Do you like it?" Sora announced with pride, revealing the deep meaning behind the name he had chosen. He explained his choice, pointing out how the color of the rose resembled that of the sky. Aqua was pleasantly surprised by the originality and the connection the name had with both her own name and Sora's. It was a perfect symbiosis between the meaning of Tenma, representing the sky related to Sora, and the fact that the sky had the same blue hue as water, reflecting her own name.

The chosen name was truly enchanting, awakening a sense of admiration in Aqua. She loved how it resonated with the essence of both Sora and herself, merging their characteristics into a single word. It was as if Tenma encapsulated the special connection they shared, and Aqua couldn't help but feel deeply pleased with that choice.

"I love it!" she exclaimed joyfully, raising her voice as a wide smile spread across her face while gazing at Sora. He returned the smile, and in that moment, amidst their little garden, a special and lasting bond was forged between them through the name of the blue rose called Tenma.

"R-Really? It's just a suggestion," Sora stammered, not expecting the name Tenma to have such a profound impact on Aqua. He had presented the name simply as a suggestion, without any expectation for her to accept it out of obligation or to please him.

"I know, but... Tenma... it's beautiful," Aqua explained with a sweet smile. Happiness and acceptance shone in her eyes as she spoke the chosen name. Sora rejoiced in seeing her smile like that, feeling a special connection through the name he had proposed for her blue rose.

"Yes, it's beautiful," he said, directing his gaze once again toward the blue rose. Then, he turned his attention back to Aqua and asked, "And tell me, how were you able to maintain this great garden?" He sought to understand how Aqua had managed to maintain and care for such a beautiful garden.

"Well, first of all, it's not that big, Sora," she chuckled gently at the boy's assertion. Sora smiled, acknowledging that the perception of size varied from person to person.

"Well, to me, it's really big," he honestly affirmed.

"Yes, if you say so," Aqua responded with a smile. Then, she continued explaining, "I have read various books about gardening. It's not just about watering the flowers and that's it. There are many factors to consider, like the type of soil they are planted in, watering them regularly, attracting beneficial insects, pruning their dry parts, talking to them, and maybe even singing to them." Sora blinked several times, assimilating the information. Although Aqua only mentioned some aspects of proper plant care, Sora understood that taking care of a garden was not an easy task. And what caught his attention the most was the mention of talking and singing to the plants.

"Do you sing to them?" Sora asked with some doubt, while Aqua nodded slightly, feeling somewhat embarrassed. It was something she kept a secret from Ven and Terra, mainly because she was embarrassed for them to know that she sang to the flowers. Impressed, Sora responded, "Really? Wow, you must have a beautiful voice when you sing." His smile towards Aqua reflected admiration and curiosity. However, Aqua blushed, feeling self-conscious under Sora's compliments. It wasn't like she sang to her flowers regularly; she only did it occasionally, and she didn't consider her voice particularly harmonious. Moreover, she didn't feel confident in her vocal talent, and that was why she didn't do it frequently. One could say she did it once every two weeks.

"W-Well, I wouldn't say that," Aqua timidly replied, displaying her embarrassment.

"Huh? Why?" Sora asked, curious to know more.

"Well, I don't consider myself to have a harmonious voice when I sing, like other people. I only do it very occasionally; it's not something I usually do regularly. In fact, it's been quite some time since the last time I did it," Aqua explained, trying to convey her modest perception and lack of confidence in her vocal abilities.

"Yeah, if you say so," Sora replied, laughing lightly. "But there's nothing to be embarrassed about. I also sing, well, not regularly, but I did it once when I visited Ariel some time ago. I helped her with a musical." Sora explained with a smile, reminiscing about that occasion when he visited Atlantica for the second time, accompanied by Donald and Goofy, to lend his aid to Ariel in her musical production.

"Oh, I didn't know that," Aqua admitted, slightly surprised. "How was it?"

"Well, aside from some issues, it turned out really well. Although my voice didn't compare at all to Ariel's. I don't even know why they invited me to participate in the vocal part," Sora added with some timidity, recalling his involvement in the musical.

"Well, someday maybe I could see you sing. It intrigues me, and knowing you, I know you speak like that to not come across as boastful," Aqua confessed, revealing her genuine interest. Sora blinked several times at her statement, surprised by her words.

"W-What? No, I really mean it, I'm not that good," Sora admitted humbly, reflecting his lack of confidence in his vocal abilities.

"If you say so," Aqua replied with a gentle laugh, a glimmer of joy evident in her expression. The curiosity she held inside about Sora's experiences in different worlds surfaced. She was aware that Sora had embarked on his journey at a young age, and she longed to learn more details about his adventures.

With a serene voice and a genuine curiosity shining in her eyes, Aqua revealed, "Since we're here, I'm intrigued to know more about your experiences in different worlds. You started your journey at such a young age, and I would love to hear a bit more."

"Really?" Sora asked with genuine surprise at Aqua's interest. She smiled sweetly and nodded, confirming her desire to explore more about Sora's life.

"Yes, I would love to get to know a bit more about you. I think it would help distract me," Aqua expressed, aware that the stories and experiences shared by Sora could serve as a valuable distraction for her own mind. While Aqua mostly maintained internal calm and serenity, she was occasionally affected by dark thoughts. However, Sora's presence in her life, especially after what happened at the party the day before, had managed to momentarily overshadow those concerns. Now that she had him in front of her, she longed to hear him talk. She wanted to know his tales, his adventures, and any detail Sora was willing to share. In that moment, all she wished for was for Sora to speak to her for hours and hours, becoming a living audiobook of Sora's fascinating adventures narrated directly by him, exclusively for her.

Sora could hardly contain his excitement upon hearing those words. With a radiant smile, he prepared to share with Aqua some of the experiences he had had in the various worlds he had visited, as well as the friendships he had formed and the fun moments he had enjoyed throughout his journey.

With grace and kindness, Sora settled himself on the ground, seeking a more comfortable position in front of Aqua, who did the same to ensure she was equally at ease. And so, facing Aqua and their silent spectator, a delicate blue rose that seemed to be attentively listening to every word, Sora began to recount his experiences.

Sora tried to maintain meticulous order when speaking about the worlds he had explored on his first journey, but at times, he would get carried away by the excitement of his stories, digressing into his adventures. Although this brought a slight smile to Aqua's face as she observed Sora getting lost in the details, he managed to cover most of the worlds he had visited: Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Beast's Castle, Traverse Town, and many others.

With each narration, Sora consciously omitted the problematic aspects of each world, focusing on the positive. Aqua longed to hear the good things, and Sora knew there was no need to delve into the negatives. Aqua easily noticed this selection, as it was evident that every step Sora took in a world came with some form of challenge or danger. Aqua understood this perfectly, as she had also lived similar experiences in her own story. It seemed almost inevitable to encounter some kind of threat in each world they visited.

Sora's storytelling completely captured Aqua's attention, and she immersed herself in his stories with total fascination. But unconsciously, she became even more lost in him. Suddenly, Sora's words stopped entering her ears, and her gaze fixated on the boy's smile and eyes as he continued to speak.

Aqua felt transported by the sweetness and tenderness radiating from Sora as he talked. Her face lit up with a silly smile, as if she was melting from within just by seeing the young man's face. It was as if time had stopped, and only the present moment existed, with Sora speaking in front of her.

Describing the sensation that invaded Aqua's heart as she got lost in Sora's storytelling was difficult. All she knew was that she felt fortunate to be there, in that moment, sharing that experience with him. And as Sora continued to speak, Aqua could only admire the beauty of the moment.

Sora stopped talking, surprised to see Aqua lost in her thoughts, with that enchanting smile on her face. He looked around, confused by the gaze Aqua was giving him and her dazed expression. Although he was glad she was smiling at him that way, he hadn't said anything extraordinary to justify such an intense reaction.

"Aqua?" Sora called out, but she didn't react. "Aqua, uh, are you listening to me?" he asked again, but Aqua still didn't respond. Sora gently reached his right hand towards Aqua's face and, with a subtle motion, snapped his fingers, causing Aqua to blink several times as if awakening from her own world.

"Y-Yes, Sora? What's going on?" Aqua asked, embarrassed by her behavior.

"Are you okay?" Sora asked, visibly concerned.

"Yes," Aqua quickly responded, trying to hide her uneasiness. "I-I'm definitely okay."

"Are you sure?" Sora questioned, still uncertain. "It seemed like you weren't listening."

"No, no, I'm listening, Sora. I'm sorry," Aqua replied with a quick smile, worried that her attitude might have hurt Sora's feelings. After all, she had asked him to share his adventures, and suddenly it seemed like she wasn't paying attention. This situation could make Sora feel bad, mistakenly thinking he was being boring to her. But that wasn't true. Aqua simply got lost in him, and she felt embarrassed to admit it. She didn't know what was happening to her. It was the first time someone had this strange and unfamiliar effect on her.

Sora nodded with a smile, seeming relieved that Aqua was fine and that she was paying attention again. Both of them stayed silent for a moment.

Aqua was struggling with her emotions, unsure how to explain what she was feeling. She had never felt this way about someone before; it was as if Sora had unlocked something within her that she had never experienced before. But she didn't know how to put it into words, so she decided to keep silent. Sora broke the silence, talking again about his adventures and the people he had met on his journeys. As she listened, Aqua couldn't help but feel a strange sensation in her chest. It was as if her heart was beating faster than usual, and a warm feeling spread throughout her body.

After a few more minutes that seemed endless, Aqua managed to immerse herself completely in Sora's story. Although it took effort, she was able to concentrate all her attention on every word and detail. It was as if she channeled all her willpower into listening to the story, rather than just watching Sora without really hearing him. That inner battle turned out to be a much tougher and challenging test than any she had faced before.

"SORA!"

Both young ones turned their heads at the call and spotted Ven along with Terra. At that moment, Aqua realized they had forgotten to inform Ven that it was no longer necessary for him to keep searching for Sora. Ven and Terra approached Aqua and Sora, who stood up as the two boys approached.

"Where the hell were you, Sora?" Ven asked, somewhat annoyed for having tirelessly searched for him. "I looked for you everywhere and even had to ask Terra for help." Sora just laughed, embarrassed for causing trouble to his two friends.

"Sorry, guys, it wasn't my intention to bother you," Sora apologized sheepishly, and Aqua sighed at the boy's words. How many times did she have to tell him that he wasn't a bother to anyone, not to her or Ven and Terra?

"Don't worry, Sora," Terra spoke up. "In a way, it turned out to be a little amusing," the young man smiled.

"Aqua, why didn't you tell me you had found him?" the blond asked, looking at his friend, who scratched the back of her head in embarrassment.

"Sorry, Ven, I completely forgot," Aqua sincerely apologized. Ven simply sighed in response; at least his exhausting search had come to an end.

"I see you showed Sora your garden, Aqua," Ven commented. Aqua nodded in response, while Sora beamed with a radiant smile.

"Yes, Aqua's garden is marvelous. It's beautiful, and her blue rose is spectacular. The variety of flowers is fantastic: red, yellow, violet, green, orange, pink. It's just amazing!" Sora expressed excitedly, as if he were a little child. His eyes sparkled, and he jumped up and down in his position. Aqua couldn't help but smile, as did Terra and Ven, seeing the childlike attitude Sora was displaying. Sometimes they wondered how someone with such a friendly, kind, and childish personality had managed to save the worlds from Xehanort.

"I didn't know you liked flowers so much, Sora," Terra commented, somewhat surprised by the excitement the boy showed when looking at the flowers.

Sora expressed his deep appreciation, saying, "I love them! And it's clear that Aqua has cared for them with meticulous love and affection, right?" He turned his gaze towards Aqua, whose lips curved into an affirmative smile, reflecting the same affection on her face.

"You know, Sora, it's getting dark. How about staying overnight?" Ven pointed out that it was already quite late.

Upon hearing these words, Sora looked up at the sky, realizing that sunset had already arrived. How much time had passed? Better yet, how long had he been conversing with Aqua? When they arrived at the garden, it was still broad daylight, and he had completely lost track of time while enjoying Aqua's company. However, he didn't want to be a bother in his friends' home since he had only come to play with Ven and hadn't intended to stay overnight.

"Are you sure? I don't want to cause any inconvenience. I just came to hang out for a while, not to stay," Sora expressed his doubts. Terra smiled kindly and placed his hand on Sora's shoulder.

"You're not an inconvenience, Sora. You're our friend, so stay tonight, okay?" Sora briefly reflected before nodding in response.

Ven got excited and stood behind Sora, gently pushing him from behind. "Great! I'll take you to the guest room!" exclaimed the blond with enthusiasm. Ven got excited and stood behind Sora, taking him by the shoulders and gently pushing him from behind.

"I-It's fine," Sora replied with a slightly hesitant tone. As he was pushed by Ven towards their home, his blue eyes caught the gaze of Aqua and Terra, who were watching the scene with meaningful expressions.

"Did you have a good time with Sora?" Terra asked, looking at Aqua, who nodded with a smile in response, reliving the magical moments they had shared just moments ago. First the dance, and now this. She wondered what wonders the future held for them.

"Yes, it's really fun to spend time with him," Aqua mentioned, eliciting a genuine smile on Terra's face.

"It seems like Sora has the gift of brightening up anyone's day. I'm glad you had so much fun today," Terra said, gazing into Aqua's eyes. "That way, you get rid of that serious expression that always accompanies you," he joked.

"Yeah, that's a good thing," Aqua responded, and Terra blinked slightly at her answer. It had been just a joke; he didn't expect Aqua to take it so seriously. "Let's go join Sora and Ven," Aqua suggested, as they began walking together towards their home, while the sun sank further into the horizon, giving way to the dark and chilly night.
