"Isa?!" He calls out

"Hondo?" She calls back, voice barely audible

"Where are you?" He asks

"Under the balcony" Since the roof is easy to climb, Hondo grips the roof and slowly makes his way down.

At the edge of the roof, he is able to look under the balcony. There Isa is holding on to a small metal bar, that is bolted to the bottom of the balcony. They are placed far enough into the underside of the balcony that Adler missed her, but close enough for Isa to grab as she fell. He takes a deep sigh of relief

"Thank god, Isa" Hondo says with a smile, he holds out his hands, allowing her to carefully swings into them "how did you know those rings were there?"

"Mother put it there years ago" Isa explains "Sometimes I hide there when he was looking for me. Father always had poor vision"

Hondo just smiles, too relieved to find words.

The two are able to get to the ground floor where the rest of the team is. Adler and Sullivan are being taken away in a police car while officers and FDA collect pills, Isabelle's body, and other evidence to throw into court. Luca looks around the scene, feeling overwhelming sadness.

"Dom!" Isa calls, her voice now loud and strong. Luca looks around, their eyes meet

"Isa" Luca calls back, tears threatening to spill over his eyes. Isa runs up to Luca and jumps into his arms. Wrapping both her legs and arms around him, refusing to let go "hey, it's ok, I got you. You hear me? I got you"

Luca holds her close to his chest, placing a hand on the back of her head. Isa hugs him tighter, placing her head under Luca's chin. Her eyes shut, not wanting to feel anything but her best friend's embrace

"Come on Isa" Deacon whispers gently "you need to be treated for the pill too, ok?"

Isa nods, but refuses to let go. Luca carries her to an ambulance that will take her to the hospital. He looks at Hondo, who nods in understanding

"Thanks man" Luca whispers getting into the car with Isa. Even from afar the team can see her crying on his shoulder.

"Luca!" Deacon calls out

"Yeah man?" Luca asks

"You hear the news?" He asks, Luca shakes his head. Deacon shows him the newspaper

Man goes from riches to rags, now behind bars for life

Underneath the words is Adler's mugshot, he looks angry as hell, but it doesn't matter. The picture of Marcus Adler behind bars was priceless for Luca. He smiles, handing it back

"We only have one problem now" Deacon says "Isa"

During the trial, Isa stayed in the hospital. Her body having so much of the Sleeping Beauty Pill in her system, that it took a while to get Isa off of it.. The team visited her whenever they could, though all of them knew that Luca spent every evening and spare moment with Isa. They would read, play games, and talk. Luca wanting to share as many things as possible with her. Then he would sleep by her side. Protecting Isa from nightmares that the pills had given her

Now with the trial over and Isa starting to sleep better, she is allowed to be adopted or fostered

"Yeah, I have to keep my promise to her" he says "just have to figure out how" Deacon nods

"Annie and I, we have talked and we would be more than happy to have Isa live with us. Until something more permanent can be done" he says "but, I think there is a better solution"

"What is that?" Luca asks

"Well" Deacon says "I heard Street is moving in with Chris"

"He is, I was waiting for them to make that next step" Luca responds, Deacon smiles wider

"Luca, I think Isa should live with you" Deacon says

"Woah, hang on" he says surprised "I know nothing about parenting and- and Isa and I are friends. I wouldn't know how to parent a friend"

"It's not like she is unmannered" Deacon reasons "you probably wouldn't be disciplining her per say, but instead teaching her the brighter side of life"

"Deacon, I don't know" Luca says "I don't even know where to start"

"That's ok, like I said, Annie and I can take her until you know what to do" He offers "but that girl, she loves you Luca, even if she doesn't know what love really is"

Luca looks at Deacon, his heart very much persuading his mind

"You really think that she would want to?" He asks, letting himself picture him and Isa living together.

He could see it, her growing up healthily and happy. She would be able to attend school and have friends. Luca, himself, wouldn't have to worry about where she spent the afternoons. And if he was being honest with himself, he knew that Street leaving would make him lonely again. But with Isa by his side, he would never be alone, and neither would Isa. Luca looks up as Deacon, a smile hiding behind his eyes and mouth.

Deacon places a confident hand on Luca's shoulder. Knowing that it was time Luca had a real family.

"I think she would love it"

Luca smiles
