Judo had arrived home from Bluey's house and sat on the couch "I'm back mum!" she yelled to her mother to let her know that she had returned. "All right, thanks for letting me know" Wendy had responded, Judo remembered the time where she hadn't let her mother know that she had returned and fell asleep, when she woke up hours later, she discovered that Wendy had called her father to ask if he took her without letting Wendy know and the two had an argument over it. Judo also had something else on her mind, something new. The yellow neighbor next door had planted a kiss on her lips, the thought never left her mind. "Does…he really feel that way?" a blush formed on her cheeks the more she thought about it. It had only been around an hour since the incident happened but to her it only felt like it had just happened, she lifted a couch pillow up to her face and let out a loud squeal, which would attract her mother's attention causing Wendy to quickly check on her "Judo? Is everything alright?" Judo was startled by Wendy's sudden entrance and quickly set the pillow down "O-oh everything is fine mum" she smiled sheepishly and set the pillow down. Wendy stood there for a few seconds unsure of what had just happened but she shrugged it off. "Well if you say so, anyway help yourself to some dinner, we have chicken parmigiana" Judo smiled and nodded "Will do!"

She wasn't sure how to ask Wendy a question and how to think of a way to get her advice "Hey, mum?" Wendy looked at her daughter with a smile "Yes dear?" Judo thought about it for a few seconds "Say…you have a close friend and you enjoy spending time with him" Wendy raised an eyebrow "Go on" Judo rubbed the back of her head "And you only see him as a friend but one day he…kisses you?" Wendy gasped at the thought "Kisses you?! Judo, you're only seven!" Judo cut her mother off "I know mum, it wasn't me! Um Bluey's dad was watching some movie earlier and some boy kissed a girl he knew since they were kids" Wendy felt relief upon hearing Judo say this "Oh, well if she feels the same way about him then it should be fine" She stayed quiet for a second before giving her daughter a smirk "But, I do hope that they're both adults and sure of how they feel about each other" Judo tilted her head "Well yeah they were but…why do they have to be adults?" Wendy sat on the couch next to her and put her head on Judo's head "This may sound odd but sometimes even when kids think they know how they feel, they really don't feel that way or their feelings might change over time" She felt like her mother's words were oddly specific "Do you know how that feels mum?" Wendy looked at a picture of her ex-husband and sighed "I've known your dad since we were teeneagers, you know?" she had a weak smile on her face "We thought that we'd be a wonderful couple and we loved each other a lot" hearing this made Judo a bit sad "Do you not love dad anymore?" Wendy's eyes widened, she didnt want to make Judo sad "I do love your dad, honestly I do" Judo raised her eyebrow "Then…why can't we be a family anymore?" Wendy sighed again "While I do love him, I just don't love him romantically anymore, and he felt the same way" Judo looked to the floor "I don't understand" "You might one day, but I hope that you won't have too" Wendy replied with a playful poke to Judos nose. She stood up and walked towards the kitchen "I'm going to do a bit of cleaning, don't eat too much food alright?" Judo nodded "Alright mum" She felt a bit conflicted at her mum's words, if she had felt the same way about Lucky, would they eventually get married, have a kid, then get divorced?

Judo walked into the kitchen and sat in front of the plate that Wendy had left on the table for her. The kiss with Lucky aside, she had one other thing on her mind. Lucky's little brother Chucky had been right all along, Bluey was indeed a murderer and she confirmed it with her own mouth. Judo admitted to herself that while she originally wasn't fond of Bingo and even convinced Bluey to ditch her younger sister, she was wrong to do so and she had become friendly with the red heeler. She ate the chicken parmigiana slowly, she felt a bit uneasy being around Bluey but she wanted to continue being Bluey's friend. However, as most young minds feel, Judo had become unsure of Bluey. Many questions came to her mind, each involving the small fear she felt towards Bluey. If she made Bluey mad, would Bluey snap and hurt her? Would Bluey kill her? Was Bluey hiding her rage towards Judo? Did she truly forgive Judo for blurting out her accidental deeds? She was especially worried since she had saw two of Bluey's friends leave from Bluey's playdate the other day. Unlike with Wendy, she had no way of rewording some of those questions to give Bluey the impression that she was asking for any other reason. She would have to let it go, for now at least.

Judo had finished her meal and took her plate to the sink. "Did you enjoy it?" Wendy asked with a smile. Judo smiled back and nodded "Delicious as always mum!" Judo hugged Wendy's leg, causing Wendy to hug her back. In reality Judo was too busy pondering about her friends to enjoy the taste of the food. "Mum?" she asked "Yes Judo?" Wendy looked at her "You're not worried about me playing with Bluey, are you?" she had wondered how her mum felt about Bluey seeing how at this point many people knew about what had transpired. Wendy shook her head "Absolutely not, Bluey never meant to hurt anyone so I'm sure she wouldn't hurt you" Wendy gave her a reassuring smile. "But I made her mad the other day, I think she might still be mad" Wendy began to wash the dishes that were in the sink "Well that's something you can only talk to her about sweetie, maybe she's mad, maybe not" Wendy turned her head "Personally, I think Bluey needs all the friends she could get" Judo raised her eyebrow "Why's that?" Wendy had begun to rinse the dishes off "Because I know how kids act, even if she explains that she didn't mean too, I'm sure maybe one or two kids will treat her differently now. Some kids probably won't treat her the same ever again" Judo's mind immediately thought of Chucky "You mean like hate?" Wendy nodded "It's possible, but I hope not. Hate can lead someone to their own destruction, and it's never a pretty sight." Judo shuddered at the thought "You're very wise mum" Wendy was flattered by Judo's words "Aww, thanks Judo" She smiled and returned to their living room.

So much had happened in a short amount of time, one of her friends had lost her sister, the other friend had lost his dad a week later, then just earlier today, the friend that lost his dad confessed his feelings to her. She felt conflicted at the fact that she had been mean to Bingo at some point, something even she didn't understand. Could it have been a result of being an only child and wishing for a sibling that was close to her in age, like Bluey? Could it be jealousy at the fact that she didn't have any siblings? She was glad at the fact that she had apologized to Bingo the same day that the trio had played butterflies. When Judo thought about her personality, she remembered that she didn't have many friends, not like Bluey had, mainly due to her parents' separation and their shared custody over the young pup. She had tried to make friends in the past but things didn't usually work out too well, other kids called her bossy and she stopped playing with others because their games would get too messy, something that would make both parents upset mainly because her fur wasn't easy to take care of. When she stayed with her father, his neighbor's kids were usually boring or didn't want to play the same games as her. It eventually caused her to become slightly aggressive towards others as it changed her outlook on life, this would in turn cause other kids to call her bossy. Despite all of this, she was once again acting a similar way towards Bluey. She sighed "No wonder you don't have many friends Judo" She spoke to herself. She was unfairly judgemental to someone who was having a very hard time with their own actions and even though she had apologized and Bluey had accepted the apology, the guilt of Bluey losing her friends had still haunted Judo. She hoped that Bluey had truly forgiven her and that the two of them could be friends again, deep in her heart she felt resentment towards herself.

As the tv went on Judo would eventually grow bored and slowly doze off on the couch. Judo was playing in the backyard with a few toys by herself, she heard the sounds of giggling from the Heeler's backyard. Judo looked over the fence to see Bluey by herself and laughing eerily, Bluey turned and looked at Judo "I did it, she's finally gone" she had an unsettling grin on her face. Judo was a bit worried but decided to ask a question "Who is gone, Bluey?" Bluey had walked closer to Judo slowly, her grin becoming larger "Bingo is gone, I killed her" Bluey pointed towards Bingo's body on the ground behind her, Bingo's body had bones poking through her pale, rotten skin. Judo vomited at the sight "Bluey! That's horrible!" Bluey's smile faded and her eyes became completely black "Horrible?" her voice echoed despite her speaking calmly "You of all people should be happy" Judo's fear was increasing every second "Why would this make me happy?" Bingo's corpse began to stand, her eyes were a sickly pale green and showed no signs of life. Her corpse began to speak with a dry hoarse voice "Because….without me, you can play with Bluey all…you…want" Judo's heart pumped harder at seeing Bingo, she struggled to speak at the sight "Zo…zom…" Bluey shushed Judo "No, she's not a zombie, she's still dead" Bluey laughed, her laughter sounded distorted and unrecognizable. Strings seemed to emerge from Bingo's corpse and led to Bluey's fingers "See, it's just my new Bingo puppet" Judo tried backing away from Bluey. Bluey gained a serious look on her face as she looked Judo in the eyes "You know…" she began "I used to have a lot of friends" she had tossed the Bingo corpse puppet aside "Then you just had to tell everyone what that little brat told you" she slowly inched closer to Judo "...Speaking of Chucky" Bluey went over to the fish pond that was added to the Heeler backyard and put her hand in. "B-Bluey…I never meant to-" Bluey would pull Chucky's severed head out the pond, unlike Bingo, he was missing eyes entirely "Never meant to let me have friends?" she tossed Chucky's head at Judo's feet. Judo wanted to scream but no sound would come out her mouth. "Doesn't matter now…" Bluey's voice had become deep "Chucky and Bingo will be my friends forever now" she giggled "I just…need one more" a knife manifested in Bluey's hand and she grinned at Judo "We can always play butterflies now!" Judo's eyes widened "Bluey…please" she tried to run but felt a deep pain in her leg, causing her to fall on the ground. Judo turned to see that Bluey had slashed her leg "Don't you want to be my friend Judo?" Judo had crawled away from Bluey, tears were streaming down her face "I do…but not like this" she turned and started to crawl faster "P-please…" despite her best efforts, Bluey inserted the knife into Judo's hand. Once again, she tried to scream but couldn't make any sound. "Mum…help me" she whimpered as she struggled to escape the monstrous blue heeler "Mum!" She yelled for help before she was against the wall, she had nowhere to go. "My Judo puppet will be so very lovely" Bluey licked the blood off the knife, then raised it above her head. For a second everything seemed to freeze. Judo had felt an odd, indescribable presence and she heard an odd, yet familiar voice "Do you really think that this is what Bluey would do?" Judo was confused "Huh? Who's that?" She couldn't see anyone but the voice continued speaking "I know everyone is hurting in their own ways, but even you know that this must be a dream" Despite the pain she felt, after a few seconds her thoughts became clear "This…is a dream?" The voice giggled "Of course it is…but you should wake up because this is probably going to really hurt if you don't, good luck Judo!" The presence had vanished and time seemed to resume "FRIENDS FOREVER JUDO!" Bluey's knife went down, the last thing Judo would see was Bluey's knife a mere inch away from her neck, however she was saved from the pain by something jolting her.

"Judo? Judo sweetie, wake up" Wendy had shook her daughter's body gently. Judo had quickly sat up and gasped loudly "What happened?" she looked around the room before Wendy pulled her into a hug "Easy, easy, mum is here" Judo hugged onto her mother as her breathing had slowed. "It was a horrible dream" she told Wendy. Wendy nodded "I thought so, you called me to help you. At first I thought you were hurt because you were whining" Wendy had stroked her head before kissing her forehead "I'm glad you're okay now" Judo smiled "Me too" Wendy raised an eyebrow "I've never seen you that scared, what was it about my love?" Judo groaned remembering the details "Bluey was trying to hurt me" Wendy's eyes widened "Has she done anything to you for real life?" Wendy had remembered Judo asking if she was okay with her playing with Bluey earlier. Judo shook her head "She said she forgives me, so I don't know why I'm nervous around her" Wendy was relieved to hear that Bluey hadn't done anything to Judo, then she pondered for a bit "Are you feeling guilty? Like she might still be mad at you?" Judo quickly nodded "That's exactly how I feel!" Wendy understood her daughters feelings "I feel like you need to talk this out with Bluey, no beating around the bush" she looked Judo in the eyes to let her know that she was serious. Judo thought about it for a few seconds "But the last time I had a weird dream about Bluey, I made things worse for her" "Then make sure she's by herself or at least ask her if you can speak to her in private" Wendy told her "She may want to hear your thoughts anyway" Judo nodded "You're right, I'll try talking to her tomorrow" Wendy smiled at her "Well then, you should take a bath then head to bed" Judo looked at her mother "Actually, can I watch the telly for a little bit longer?" Wendy rolled her eyes "30 more minutes but no longer" she stood up to go back to the kitchen then stopped "By the way Judo, I have a question" Judo tilted her head and looked at Wendy "Yeah mum?" Wendy smirked at her daughter "You afraid to tell me that Lucky kissed you?" Judo's eyes widened as a deep blush formed on her face "Wait…w-what? How did you?" Wendy laughed "I wasn't born yesterday love, and Chilli told me that Bandit hasn't been home today. So, I did the math and figured you were talking about something else" Judo put her face in her hands "I'm sorry mum" Wendy shook her head "I'm not mad, I understand" Judo looked at her a bit surprised "You do?" Wendy nodded "But like I said, you're only seven, I want you to promise you'll be careful and smart about things like that, especially when there's so much you'll have to learn on your own" Judo blush became stronger "I promise, honest!" Wendy was more laidback about this than Judo thought she would be. Within time Judo had watched more television and once her 30 minutes were up she had turned it off then went upstairs and then to her room once she had finished. She would lay in her bed and stare at the ceiling, she could only think about the nightmare that she had earlier. Struggling to sleep she would slowly make her way to Wendy's room and gently shake her sleeping mother. Wendy was startled but then she pulled her sleeping mask and looked at Judo "Everything okay?" Judo nodded "I'm having a bit of trouble trying to sleep, is it okay if I sleep with you?" Wendy yawned "Of course" she moved back in her bed to allow Judo some space in the bed. Judo smiled and climbed in, she cuddled against Wendy and within minutes, the young pup had fallen asleep in her mother's warm embrace.

The next day had come, and Judo had eaten breakfast "No nightmares Judo?" Wendy asked as she held a book in her hands. "No, I had an easier time sleeping with you mum" Judo responded. Wendy had smiled and begun to brush Judo's hair "Still feeling a bit nervous?" Judo nodded "I know she might not get mad, but I you were right when you said I can ask only her my questions" Wendy nodded as she raised the book to read it "If things get tough don't be afraid to come home, but still try your best" Judo nodded as she walked outside.

She looked around the Heeler's yard but sighed as she didn't see Bluey anywhere "Maybe she's not here now" she told herself. "Maybe who's not here?" Judo jumped at hearing Bluey speak. She looked down to see Bluey sitting against the wall that connected the two backyards "Oh Bluey, hi" she chuckled and rubbed the back of her head "I was looking for you actually" Bluey raised an eyebrow "Oh? Well, here I am. What's up?" Judo stayed quiet for a few seconds but decided to start with a heavy question "Bluey…do you hate me for blurting everything out the other day?" Bluey shook her head "I told you the other day didn't I? I don't hate you" Judo shook her head "I know but there were others here, I was wondering if you were saying that to be nice in front of them" Bluey shook her head again "I was mad at you, very mad" She inhaled sharply "Not because you told everyone what I did though" Judo had become confused "Then why?" Bluey had exhaled "Because you reminded me of what I did, how all I did only caused myself pain. I thought that maybe if I had my friends over then I could forget my loneliness for a bit" Judo sighed "I really am sorry Bluey" Bluey was curious about this conversation "Why are you apologizing again anyways?" Judo looked at Bluey and put her hands on Bluey's shoulders "It's you!" Bluey was confused "Me?" Judo nodded "You keep appearing in my dreams, you're some kind of monster in them, you keep trying to kill me" Bluey didn't know how to respond and remained quiet as a result "I know you're my friend, but I think…I know I'm scared of you" Bluey looked saddened by Judo's words "You don't trust me?" "I do trust you, Bluey! It's just-" her hands were shaking on Bluey's shoulders "I can't describe this feeling…but believe me when I say I'm still your friend. Please believe me!" Judo had dropped to her knees, afraid that Bluey would snap at her again. Bluey set her hand on Judo's head "Look me in the eyes" Judo did as Bluey requested and looked into her friend's eyes "I won't hurt you, or anyone else" she told the chow chow with a stern look on her face. "Do you promise?" Judo asked Bluey nodded "I promise" Bluey responded. Judo let out a sigh of relief "I was just scared of losing you as a friend but I didn't know what would happen if you were mad at me" "Well if I was still mad, I wouldn't be talking to you, but I'd never hurt anyone on purpose" she had reassured her. "Thanks, Bluey. That makes me feel a little better" Bluey had pulled Judo off her knees and helped her to stand.

"Now I have a question for you" Bluey said. Judo looked at her "Sure, what is it?" Bluey smiled "I've been wondering for the past few days, how do you feel about Lucky?" Thinking about Lucky once again, Judo blushed "What's with you?" Bluey laughed "What's with me? What's with you and that blush?" Judo grunted "How do you feel about Lucky?" She tried to get a reaction out of Bluey. Bluey smirked "Jokes on you, I only see him as a friend, and I already knew he liked you" Judo gasped "You knew? And you didn't tell me?" Bluey tried not to laugh at the question "Oh come on, if I told you then I'd be betraying Lucky's trust" Judo thought about it and nodded "You're right" Judo then thought for a few seconds "I know some of your friends that visit you, do you like…Rusty?" Bluey smirked "Nope!" "What about…Jack?" Bluey shook her head "Nah" Judo raised an eyebrow "Snickers? Winton?" Bluey rolled her eyes "They're good friends, but please tell me you're joking" Judo thought harder before coming to a name "Uh…Mackenzie?" Bluey thought about the border collie and how he was one of the few to stay by her side even when half of the class was against her, her heart skipped a beat but she didn't want to let Judo win this little game the two of them had going on "Er…nope, sorry" she closed her eyes and crossed her arms. Judo noticed a different reaction when she mentioned his name but she realized Bluey wouldn't admit it, at least not normally "Oh thank goodness, honestly I think I might want to go out on a date with him instead of Lucky" Bluey opened one of her eyes, leaving the other shut "Going on a date with who?" Judo smirked "With Mackenzie, of course" Bluey's eyes widened "NO WAY HE'S MINE!" Bluey quickly put her hands over her mouth quickly as Judo jumped up in excitement "A-ha! So you do like him!" Bluey rolled her eyes and squinted with a smile "You admitted to liking Lucky" Judo was a bit confused "What? No I didn't" Bluey nodded "You did, you said you'd go on a date with Mackenzie instead of Lucky, that means you like Lucky!" Judo remembered the brief statement and realized Bluey was right "W-well it's not like I liked him at first! It's just that I have felt different ever since…" "Since he gave you a smoochy kiss?" Bluey teased Judo. Judo blushed "Well you admitted to liking Mackenzie! So there!" Bluey also blushed "So what if I like him?" "So what if you like who?" both girls were surprised to hear Bandit walk outside with some laundry to hand on the clothesline and ask the question. Bluey rubbed her shoulder as she thought of an answer to give her dad "Oh I was telling Judo that I like Tabby Calico, he's a new character in Cat Squad. Bandit nodded "Oh okay...wait, aren't calico cats female?" Bluey's eyes widened. Judo spoke up for Bluey "O-oh not always, my mum says calico cats can be male, but it's rare" Bandit nodded "Oh alright, guess it pays to have knowledge like your mum does" Judo smiled at him "That's right Bluey's dad, mum tells me all the time that it doesn't hurt to get information" After Bandit hung the clothes, he went back inside. "Thanks for that, I don't know how he'd feel if I told him it was Mackenzie" Judo nodded "Yeah, my mum wasn't exactly happy finding out about Lucky so I know how you feel" Bluey was a bit surprised "You told Wendy about what Lucky did?" Judo smiled "Well she wasnt a fan of it but she didn't flip out"

The girls played together for a while until Judo had another question "Bluey, I have another question for you" Bluey looked at her "Let's hear it" Judo sighed "I know it wont go away easily, but how do you feel about yourself?" Bluey got quiet and looked away from Judo "Bluey?" Bluey smiled at Judo "Hey, are there actually male calico cats?" The question caught Judo off guard "Well, yeah but like I said they're rare…but-" "Oh good, I wasn't sure about Tabby since he sounded a bit like a girl" Judo had noticed how Bluey wanted to change the subject and she decided to drop the question.

"What's your teacher like? I dont think you've really talked about her" Judo asked. Bluey smiled "Her name is Calypso, she's a very nice Australian Shepherd, she usually encourages us to use our imaginations" Judo smiled "That's great, my teacher is like that too but at times she gets strict and it can scare the rest of the class" Bluey laughed at the thought "You know, that actually sounds interesting in a way" Judo raised an eyebrow "It does?" Bluey nodded "A teacher that's fun and strict? It Sounds like she might have her own kids to deal with at home" Judo thought about it but wondered "Why do you say that?" Bluey smiled "Because that's how my mum and dad get. They're very playful, but when something needs to get done then they get strict" Judo thought about it, her parents weren't very strict, at least not in her eyes. While Wendy would often engage in games with Judo, her father was often too busy to play with her, which would make her lonely whenever she stayed at his house.

Bluey realized she'd never seen Judo's father "What's your dad like Judo?" Judo looked at Bluey "I…don't.." Judo stopped speaking, making Bluey confused "I love him but I don't want to stay with him! I don't want mum and dad to be divorced!" This reaction had surprised Bluey "I'm sorry I asked if it upset you" Judo shook her head "It's not that, it's just…it becomes lonely sometimes" she sighed and slumped to the ground "I wish my parents had what yours still has" Bluey put her hand on Judo's shoulder "Maybe one day, they will" Judo looked at Bluey confused "They don't love each other anymore…not romantically" Bluey shook her head "My mum says sometimes even when people break up, there's always the chance that they'll fall in love again, so I believe your parents have a chance" Judo smiled a little "Well who knows what the future holds" Bluey laughed a but "My mum says that too! She told me that one time when a friend I met while we were camping had went home and I asked her if I would ever see him again" Judo looked at Bluey "You really make lots of friends don't you?" Bluey nodded "How many do you have?" Judo shrugged "Not exactly easy when you have two different homes that are far apart from each other" Bluey sat next to Judo "Have you told your parents how you feel?" Judo shook her head "I don't want them to squabble again, I just want them to love each other romantically" Bluey nodded.

There was an awkward silence between the two for a few minutes before Judo spoke up "How long did you know about Lucky?" Bluey smiled "Well not too long before he decided to let you know" she winked and gave her a nudge on the shoulder "But the three of us were together when he first told me" Judo chuckled "Never would've guessed it myself" Bluey smiled then she thought of something "Chucky told you didnt he?" Judo was confused "Told me what?" "About Bingo, and how I was the one that caused her to die?" Judo nodded. Bluey groaned "That jerk, all because he had a crush on Bingo" Judo's eyes widened "He did?" Bluey nodded "Lucky told me right before he told me about his crush on you actually" Everything became clear to Judo "Wow, I see why he hates you now" Bluey looked at her "First Bingo, then his dad, now he's pinning all his hurt on you" Bluey tilted his head "Were you scared of me then?" Judo nodded slowly "I knew he had no reason to lie, but I didn't want to believe that you would do it" she clenched her fist "He made me angry" Bluey smiled a little "He's messed with me quite a few times now" Judo raised an eyebrow "How so?" Bluey sighed "Believe it or not, he convinced me into thinking that I was Bingo, and that Bluey was dead" This shocked Judo, how could he even think of something so odd and cruel? "We need to watch out for him" Bluey nodded "Agreed"

The two girls would enjoy each other's company and continue chatting for hours and discussing their private lives with each other. As usual, their conversations would have to come to an end while their parents would call them inside for their normal routines of eating dinner, having a bath, and going to bed. Judo had let Wendy know about her conversation with Bluey and how now, she felt less afraid of being around the blue heeler, a fact that would make Wendy happy for both of the girls.
