First I would like to thank Wolf FallenSerpent for your review.

Everyone is allowed to have opinions and express them, and I specifically asked people to be honest with me.

I know that chapter 6 had a lot of fillers, and a lot of future chapters will also have them.

For me, the reason for these fillers is that they are mostly for character development and many of the details will become relevant in future chapters.

I might try and use a short summary or a way to inform people so they can skip them but still thank you for the comment and I will try to find a way to fix it.

I will try and add a disclaimer and trigger warning in the first chapter to inform people. Thanks for the reminder.

And thanks for the good luck. This is my first fanfiction, so I'm still learning and trying to improve.

If you have more suggestions, please feel free to inform me.

Naruto broke down in his mindscape. He was wailing and crying while curled into a ball. Kurama was trying to comfort him, but he was non-responsive. He took a human form and slowly scooped Naruto up and into his chest.

He kept whispering comforting words into his ear while robbing his back until he calmed down. When he finally calmed down, a little Naruto said. "Kurama, I finally remember how they learned to make those lasting scars."

Kurama just hugged him tighter. He was the only one who knew why Naruto always wore that ugly jumpsuit or why he always wore a Henge when he wanted to bathe with others for a long time. Of course, Tsunade became aware of his scars later in life but somehow knew not to confront Naruto.

Naruto was ashamed. The tortures had led him to believe that no one would accept him. He felt his body to be ugly. The words carved into his skin reminded him of that. Ugly, fat, disgusting, whore, monster, and so many other words.

Naruto might not have remembered this memory or the ones that also unlocked. Memories of torture and rapes and constant abuse. But he was still living with the scars. He would see the scars, but he couldn't remember how he got them.

Later in life, it led to Naruto's many problems. He would self-harm and starve himself. He wouldn't take care of his mind or body. It was during his trip with Jiraiya that he was discovered.

He was alone in their hotel room and went to the bathroom to cut himself, but his hand slipped, and the cut was too deep. He tried to conceal the wound but was too dizzy from the blood loss and passed out.

Hours later, he was discovered by Jiraiya. When he woke up, he was in his bed in the hotel room and Jiraiya was passed out next to his bed in a chair. His wounds were bandaged, and Jiraiya was holding his hand in his sleep.

He felt panic rise up in him. He was discovered. He wanted to run away to hide, but his panicked chakra woke the man. He held Naruto down, and then they had a long conversation. Naruto didn't want to think about it in detail. Still, he remembered a lot of shouting and crying from his side and patience from Jiraiya.

He told him how he would wake up in his apartment some days having no idea of the previous day only to see new scars on his body. He thought that he was going crazy. Maybe he really was a monster. He told him everything he remembered.

In the end, he was just sobbing in the man's chest. Jiraiya was not an emotional man. He was never gentle with him or tried to baby him. But that day was an exception. He let Naruto cry himself to sleep.

They never talked about that day from the next day and almost acted like before. Jiraiya kept an extra eye on him; whenever Naruto wanted to relapse, he would help him back. Their relationship grew deeper this way.

He was the first person in Naruto's life whom he could talk to without fear of being judged. Jiraiya helped him slowly come out of his old habits. He would check Naruto's body every day to ensure he wasn't cutting and watch him during meals to ensure that he ate. By the end of the trip, he wasn't entirely out of his habits, but he was doing better.

It took a while for Kurama, but he finally noticed his kit had fallen asleep. He knew he would dissociate for some time, trying to separate himself from the memories. In the end, he had to accept the memories to start healing.

Kurama just wished there was more that he could do. He wanted to hurt all those who dared harm his child. During the war, they grew closer, and Kurama thought of Naruto as his own. His to protect and nurture.

He would destroy anyone who dared hurt his kit, and nothing would keep him from being at his side. He believed he finally knew how his father felt about him and his siblings. He might not have given birth to Naruto, but he has been with him since he was in his mother's womb.

Sometimes all he wanted to do was to just steal Naruto. Take him away and hide him from this world in a place where no one could harm him. But they both knew that it was not possible. His kit was the purest soul he had ever seen.

He would rather die a thousand deaths before letting harm come to those he loved. He would never accept to stay back and let others win his fights. Even now, with all his plans of saving the future, he never once thought about his own happiness and safety in those plans.

It was up to Kurama to keep his kit safe. He smiled as he pulled Naruto closer to his body and curled his tails around them. Even in his human form, he liked to keep his tails. It reminded him of when their chakras mixed together too much during captivity, and Naruto grew fox ears and a tail.

Seeing others' reactions to it when Naruto was back was amusing. They found a way to fix the situation and reverse the merging, but Naruto refused, saying that it reminded him of Kurama. It was adorable.

His human ears had disappeared, leaving only two golden fox ears on top of his head. His canines were longer and sharper, and most importantly, he had the fluffiest fox tail coming out of his back. It was also golden but had a white tip.

Last time it took a while for Naruto to get used to fighting in his new form, but in Kurama's idea, it was worth it. He was wondering if he could accidentally do the same in this timeline as well. Of course, it would be a total accident. He thought, snickering.

The next day Naruto woke up not feeling refreshed at all. The memories of last night kept playing in his mind. After the first memory where he cried in Kurama's lap, the others came one by one until the morning.

He knew that the memories were something that he had to deal with. If he tried to surpass them after the first trigger, they would only come back stronger and stronger until he had no choice but to deal with them.

He knew that he wasn't dealing with the memories. He would just let his mind remember them, and then he would throw all the emotions related to that memory behind a wall. It was similar to what ROOT agents did.

He was a weapon, and he wasn't allowed to feel. Emotions would only serve to hinder his plans. He took a few deep breaths and got ready for the day. He thought about whom he should see next, but he didn't feel prepared for it yet.

He decided to just go around the village and try to establish his presence in a sense. One part of his cover was that he was a genin. If he wanted to keep his cover, he had to do a bunch of missions as well.

He hated D-ranked missions, but there wasn't much he could do. Plus, doing these missions and training in the training grounds was an excellent way to meet some of the shinobi. He walked to the Hokage tower and went up to the mission's desk.

The chunin at the desk was a Nara, so he looked at Naruto. He asked for his documentation and, after confirming them, pointed to the side of the desk where the D-ranks were and told Naruto to choose.

There weren't many that were interesting or useful. Naruto needed to take missions that were related to clans. In the end, it was Tora's that caught his eye. He had an evil look on his face for a second but quickly covered it.

He took the mission and headed out. Every genin in Konoha knew about the immortal terror. Tora the bane of all genin. No one knew how old he was or how he did it, but Tora would frequently leave the fire country capital, which was two days of travel with shinobi speed, and escape to Konoha.

The poor genin was tasked to catch the feral cat and bring her to madam Shijimi. Naruto had a plan, and he was not ready to back out. He first went to a few stores to buy a few items. When he lay down his trap, he went to find the little devil.

It didn't take him long. Tora was in an alley eating what looked like a stolen salmon. Naruto made a clone who shunshined inside the alley and stepped on a metal can to make himself known. Tora ran with the piece of salmon as soon as he saw the clone.

Naruto chased after the cat using clones to maneuver him in the direction he wanted. After a long chase around the village Tora was too tired and didn't pay attention when he turned a corner and stepped right into a net.

Naruto chuckled as he approached the struggling cat. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here. No more running around for you, mister. It's the end of the line." Naruto said with a little bit of KI.

"Meow, meow meow." Tora said, trying to set himself free.

"Hey, that was not nice. What do you even know about my mother." Naruto said, annoyed.

"Meow?" Tora said.

"Well, I have a bit of Matatabi's chakra in me. It allows me to talk with all felines." Naruto said, scratching his neck.

Tora then proceeded to tell Naruto about his life. He was a love child of a cat summoning boss and a normal cat. He abounded since neither side wanted him. He had nowhere to belong.

He wandered all over the fire country until he found Konoha. It was during the Shodai era, and Hashirama saw him. He immediately took a liking to him and kept him by his side. They bounded deeply, and when he died, Tora was devastated.

He couldn't bare to stay in Konoha, so he went to the capital, where the daimyo adopted him. He lived there for a while, but it wasn't Konoha, so he tried to come back, but they would capture him and send him back each time.

It wasn't pleasant for a while, but it became fun when he saw how everyone would try to catch him. He was immortal, after all, so this was one of the only things he still enjoyed. It was also to honor Hashirama.

They always used to play chase with one another, and Hashirama loved children, so it was Tora's duty to play chase with the village children. Naruto was crying by the end of the explanation. It was so touching.

" I know what to do. I will teach you ninjutsu. This way, you can have more ways to play with genin and honor your friend." Naruto declared.

Tora meowed happily. As Naruto was freeing him, he heard what suspiciously sounded like Kurama telling him all the reasons why it was a bad idea, but he decided to ignore it. He made his way to an empty training ground with Tora lying down on his shoulders.

"Ok, Tora, the first thing I want to teach you is tree walking. It's a genin technique, but it should help you escape from teams. I know you already have a good amount of Chakra, so you must learn to utilize it."

"My next goal after chakra control is to teach you some simple ninjutsu, and then we can move to genjutsu. We should also work on your fighting style so that you can escape if you get captured." Naruto said.

Naruto then proceeded to explain tree walking and demonstrate it. It turned out that Tora was pretty good at chakra control, so he got the base quickly. He still needed to work on his stamina and accurate control, but they didn't have the time for that.

Tora was tired, so he took a nap while Naruto carried him to the tower. They were going to meet weekly so Naruto could teach him more. Naruto handed Tora to the astounded jonin and got his payment.

He decided to do a little training, so he used his money to buy ninja wire and a couple of kunai and shuriken. He also bought a few more stuff to make himself an obstacle course. It wasn't anything big or fancy.
