Kat took a deep exhale as they awoke in their apartment. Why did I have to dream about stupid Indigo? Their dream had been about the time they rescued the Rosemary girls with Lyle, but the eldest child and his feline companion never made it out.

They weren't surprised Bluey wasn't able to escape the Galaxian Pirates, but it did hurt watching the family grieve from afar, especially when Ari got captured again and lost her memories.

"Stop thinking about the past, Kat." They told themselves as they got ready for night patrol, putting on their thick leather gear and stretching their body. "It just hurts you." They took a breath as they placed their helmet on, and exited their apartment in Good Luck Alley.

The city was still decorated for the holidays, Kat themselves had taken a small break from keeping watch on the city to visit Bea and Teressa for the holidays themself.

"Make sure to take care of yourself, sweetheart." Teressa told them as she packed homemade goods to bring back to the city. "You can't save cities on empty stomachs." That was one thing they loved about their adoptive mother, Teressa always made sure that they were eating well and always called to make sure they were okay.

Which is why I can't let the Galaxian Pirates win. Kat thought. I know after Voltrax's stupid Heartless stunt that they're gonna show up soon. Their mask's scanners picked up the signature of someone in a Galaxian Pirate uniform. "Speaking of the darn devil, there's one right now."

The pirate in question was one they didn't recognize, but what made their blood boil was that the man wore a grey cat mask that reminded them of Lyle's cat. Do those sickos like making masks of their victims now? Kat growled. They instantly leapt and attacked the pirate with a kick. "You picked the wrong time to walk at night, fool!"

He growled, a hand clutching his bruised arm. "You're that pest the leader warned me about, Kat is it?"

"Ah, you know my name, I'm flattered." They giggled. "You must be new, listen buddy, I'm willing to walk away if you just quit those nutjobs."

"The name's Platinum." He pulled out a knife. "You'll make a fine trophy to present to Indigo."

"Haha you're funny-" But as soon as they said that, Platinum dashed over and stabbed their hip. "Ow!" Kat kicked them across the street and scaled the wall, their suit's tail flicking to balance them.

Platinum laughed underneath his accursed mask. "Oh, there will be plenty of that tomorrow." He tossed a knife that stuck them inches away from their neck, and disappeared into the shadows.

Kat groaned as they pulled the knife out of the wall. "Great, another one, and now they're coming back…"

As much as I hate to admit this, I can't defeat them on my own this time. Last time resulted in Lyle's death. Looks like I'll have to get Big Hero 6 involved.

...Right after I sleep this off.

The next morning...

Even after the holidays, the people of San Fransokyo still kept their Christmas or Hanukkah or other winter holiday decorations up as there was still blessed snow on the ground courtesy of one Hiro Hamada.

Not as if the entire city knew, all they knew is that there was a holiday miracle as there had been lots of snow that was still on the ground even after New Year's.

As for Hiro Hamada himself? Well he was in his natural habitat…

"Hah, first place again!"

Getting his butt kicked by his little sister in Luigi Kart. "Ari why." Hiro deadpanned. "Why do you always pick Rainbow Road?"

"Because it's my favorite!" Her blue eyes glittered mischievously at him. It was still a holiday break so they were using what time they had with each other before going back to school. "Besides, you're the one who picked it in the first place."

"True." He shrugged. "Hey Ari, can I ask you something?"

"You just did."

Hiro rolled his eyes as she giggled. "Are you doing okay?"

She held up the controller. "Yeah, why do you ask?"

"I'm just worried about everything that happened, the monsters, the Heartless…" He rambled as her expression got more grim. "The whole thing with your parents…"

"I'm fine."

"Are you?"

Ari looked down at her short sleeves. For Christmas, she had gotten a black shirt with blue stripes reminiscent of her old sweater from Juniper, even though she missed her sweater, she knew that it was only because it was the piece of clothing she was allowed to wear for most of her life. Dr. Alex would be proud of me acknowledging that. "It's honestly hard, I still feel like I'm betraying Monty and Lisa… but I know that they weren't my parents, even if they did raise me." A part of her questioned if they even cared about her besides using her as a bargaining chip, she hated thinking about questions she'd never get answers from. "But I'm getting better."

"Well, I'm here to help you." Hiro leaned in to give her a hug. "And so is Baymax, our friends, Aunt Cass, oh and Rachel and Katie too."

"Katie doesn't seem like much help…"

"Mrow!" They turned around to see Mochi glaring at Ari, his calico fur puffed up and his tail bristling.

Both of them stared back. "I think Mochi is offended that you insulted his friend." Hiro stated.

"She can be a jerk sometimes." Even though the blue cat was her little sister's feline companion, she still was annoying and teased her all the time! "I can't believe I'm a big sister."

"Yeah, you'd think Rachel would obviously be the older one considering how mature you are."

Ari punched his shoulder. "You're the worst!"

"Thanks, I try." His phone chimed as he got a text. "Uch, trouble down the street."

His sister pouted. "Aww, you'd think the villains would be more quieter during holiday break but nooooo-"

"I have located Baron Von Steamer." Baymax's eyes were scanning the city for the elderly villain, who was still running loose and had been a pain to find for the past few days.

Hiro tapped his visor. "Thanks Red Panda. Chem Girl, Speed Queen, I'm sending you the location, you got that?"

"Yeah, we did!" Honey Lemon's cheery voice buzzed from the coms. "It's the same warehouse when he and Supersonic Sue ambushed us."

"Uhg, don't remind me." Gogo groaned. As Baymax flew down to the warehouse, Hiro noticed Gogo was still grumbling as she leaned on her girlfriend's shoulder. "I swear, if this is another ambush…"

"We'll be fine." Honey Lemon reassured her. "Now let's get Steamer!"

Hiro nodded in agreement. "Couldn't have said it better myself."

Even though his friends were still using their regular armor for now, that didn't mean they were underprepared. Such as when Hiro used the enhanced strength in his gauntlets to punch the warehouse door open, and it ended up smacking Steamer's spider bot. "Ow! Couldn't you millennials have bothered to knock?"

"We could, but since when do you bother to knock?" Gogo retorted, shooting a disk at the spider bot's legs while her girlfriend tossed blocks of goop around the other half.

"I hate it when heroes get new powers…" Steamer attempted to use his laser to melt the goop but Baymax then rocket fisted the laser back, knocking the machine down. He tried to escape but Honey Lemon trapped him in more goop. "Ow! This is more uncomfortable than the other gunk!"

"Aw, don't worry. I'm sure the prison has a nice comfy bed waiting for you." Honey Lemon reassured him.

Steamer just muttered things that shouldn't be repeated to millennials in response.

They quickly dropped off the old cyborg at the nearest police station, and now they were chilling on one of the nearby roofs around Good Luck Alley. "Finally got that out of the way." Hiro wiped his hands.

"And we didn't need the guys involved." Gogo shrugged. "What with them being on vacation." They were the only members of Big Hero 6 in the city, Wasabi was out of town visiting his folks, and Fred was on vacation with his folks on his family's private island.

"Crime's been pretty down ever since we stopped Diane and the Heartless." Honey Lemon beamed.

Gogo nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's peaceful enough that we've been cutting back on night patrols."

"The police have also been pretty hardcore on cracking down crime since Chief Cruz also came to San Fransokyo." Despite the chief of police's distaste of the superheroes, Hiro had to admit that the man was dedicated to improving the force. "Things have been so good for us."

"I wouldn't say Chief Cruz is a good thing." Gogo frowned. "He does not like us. Wouldn't be surprised if he brands us as fugitives."

"He can't do that." Hiro pointed out. "The city loves us, even if he does try hunting us down, we're not going to stop being superheroes."

Honey Lemon agreed with him. "Yeah, no matter what changes we'll be fine."

The good mood was ruined by Baymax looking down. "There is someone approaching."

"What?!" They all got into battle positions as they heard someone climbing from one of the roofs.

"It could be one of Yama's minions!" Hiro told the others, they were by the criminal's usual location. "Stay sharp!"

As the intruder got closer they heard… panting? "Phew, I need… to lay off… those Noodle Burgers…" A snow-cloaked figure in a cat mask was crawling up onto the roof, and they held up a hand as they exhaled loudly. "Give me… a moment…"

The girlfriends of the team recognized them. "Hey, you're that superhero that fended off the monsters for us!" Honey Lemon exclaimed.

"And you helped us get Ari back to normal." Gogo added.

Hiro's eyes widened. "You're Kat?"

"Yes, yes I am." Kat slowly lifted themself up. "Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today…"

"Hello." Baymax waved. "My scan indicates that you have a large injury around your hip."

Before any of them could pull out medical equipment, Kat walked over. "Oh yeah, forgot about that. Anyways you guys are screwed."

"I'm sorry, what?" Gogo tilted her head.

"Doomsday has arrived in this city, the Galaxian Pirates are here!" Kat gestured with their hands. "They've come and they won't stop until the city is theirs, and it took forever for me to drive them from the last city! We have a problem here!"

"The Galaxian Pirates?" Hiro questioned. Where have I heard that before… "Like Voltrax?"

"I see you have already run into one of their leaders." Kat shrugged. "I'd have stopped her but uh… her partner in crime at the time was not someone I could go up against."

"You got that right…" Gogo winced at the memory of Voltrax attacking them with lightning and turning into one of the Heartless. "Wait, how do you know this?"

Kat cleared their throat. "I've been keeping an eye on their activity around here."

"And you didn't tell us yet?" Honey Lemon frowned.

"It was just one or two, but I found out there's a patrol." They grumbled. "Listen, I just want them defeated. Those guys took someone very important to me, but they just keep getting away." Kat sighed, turning to Hiro. "And they hurt someone very close to you too, your sister."

Hiro's eyes widened. "How do you know that-"

A loud cackle filled the air, they were so focused on their conversation that none of them picked up the fact that they were now surrounded. "I believe we have found the Galaxian Pirates." Baymax pointed out.

"You don't say?!" Gogo gestured.

Like Voltrax, the Galaxian Pirates had dark grey armor that was faintly tinted red, but there were different patterns on some of the armor as if to indicate their rank. "Wait a minute…" Honey Lemon squinted at one member, a messy haired brunette with dark skin, greyish-green eyes, and a large fang poking from her toothy grin. "You look familiar."

Her outfit was slightly different, with a grey cloak and gloves to boot compared to the metallic claws and shoulderpads of the other pirates.

She grinned. "Ah, I guess Big Hero 6 do pay attention to their previous conquests! Remember me you suckers?!"

"I do not recall meeting you in my database." Baymax stated.

"Yeah, I don't know you." Hiro shrugged.

"And I usually know most Galaxian Pirates, you are not one of them." Kat added.

A growl came up her throat, the only thing holding her back was another member. "Easy there Jets." He wore a cat mask that Kat was glaring holes into.

"Thanks, Platinum." She huffed.

Honey Lemon gasped. "Now I recognize you, you're Lonna Jettson!" She pointed to her. "The only Silver Raven member that escaped when me and Chop Chop arrested them again!"

"How dare you refer to my group like that!" Lonna hissed. "You will pay, my new group will definitely destroy you!"

The Galaxian Pirate in front, a woman with teal eyes, short purple hair and a scar cutting her cheek groaned. "Jets, stop it."

"Technically, Chem Girl and Chop Chop defeated the Silver Ravens with the assistance of Detective Elio Rosemary-"

"Ooh you should not have done that." Kat winced.

At the mention of the detective, a war cry went out from the purple-haired woman. "You will pay for mentioning that man! I, Commander Kamara, will destroy you for the glory of the Galaxian Pirates!" She yelled. "Attack!"

That's when they struck, instantly Kat went after the commander. "Woah!" They jumped back as a fireball went past their way. "Uhg, Flare!"

The redhead who threw the attack glared with blue eyes. "Oh I have been waiting to burn you for so long-" They were cut off by a rocket fist knocking them off of the roof. "Why does this always happen to meeeeee!?"

"Nice one, Red Panda." Hiro patted his buddy's shoulder.

"You are welcome." The moment was interrupted as the cat masked member Platinum leapt and tackled Hiro off of Baymax. "Oh, no." Then two other Galaxian Pirates went after the robot.

Hiro groaned, trying to punch Platinum but the masked man ripped his gloves off and kicked him in the stomach. "Ahg!"

"Captain!" Gogo skated to protect him but was knocked over by Lonna.

"Oh, you're not helping your leader so easily." Lonna grinned, dodging a chem ball tossed by Honey Lemon and delivering a quick jab to her sides that knocked the chemist over. "This is for the Silver Ravens!"

Kat laughed as they dodged a punch by Kamara and kicked her off-balance. "Ha! You're getting sloppy today!" But then their laughter died as they noticed Big Hero 6 was detained. "Oh, nuts-" Then had to dodge another swipe from the commander.

Kamara whistled, and the Galaxian Pirates fell behind her. "Ah, that was too easy! We'll be back later tonight. I'm letting you go now as it'd be too boring to destroy you."
Hiro growled as the commander shot him a condescending smirk. "For heroes who faced off a monster invasion, you can't even handle a few kicks!" Then as quickly as they appeared, the Galaxian Pirates jumped to another rooftop.

Flare crawled back onto the roof just to see her team jumping off. "Oh, darn!" Smoke exhaled from her mouth in frustration as her feet lit aflame and she bounced over the roof. "Wait up!"

"What…" Hiro got back up with the help of Gogo, who already had Honey Lemon leaning over her in support. "What just happened?"

"We were defeated." Baymax stated, lifting a finger as he was stunned on the ground.

"Uhg, did you underestimate them?" Kat growled.

The fastest of the team crossed her arms. "Hey! They had surprised us!" Gogo pointed out.

"No, Kat's right. We got really lazy during the holidays." Honey Lemon shook her head.

Hiro sighed. "I hate to say it but they're right, we started getting cocky."

"If Freddie was here, he'd probably say some comic 'I told you so' moment."

Her girlfriend shuddered at the thought. "Don't remind me."

Meanwhile with Fred…

"Ach-oo!"

His mother lowered her sunglasses. "Are you okay, Frederick?"

"I'm fine Mom." He waved it off. "I just feel like someone was talking about me… hey that's the first time I ever felt that trope, yes!"

"Congrats son!" Mr. Frederickson flashed him a thumbs up.

"Thanks, Dad!"

Even though she didn't want to say anything in the group chat, Ari felt a spike of anxiety at the mention of the group her so-called "aunt" was in.

Ohhh, this is bad, this is very bad. She groaned. Even though her memories of the organization were all a blur, she knew they were the ones who had taken her from her family multiple times, and even tried kidnapping her friend! "Oh, this is a problem."

"What's the problem?" Rachel popped up behind her shoulder.

Ari yelped as she instantly pocketed her phone. "Aaah! Don't look at my texts!"

"Um… I didn't even know you were texting?" Her little sister frowned.

"Oh." She felt her cheeks turn red. "Sorry, you did scare me though."

Rachel shrugged. "What's on your mind?"

I mean… I guess it wouldn't hurt to tell her. "I was just thinking about that group you told me about, the ones who separated us." Ari winced as her sister's expression darkened. "The Galaxian Pirates."

Katie, who was resting on Rachel's lap, had perked her head up. "Did you remember anything about them?"

She shook her head. "No, I'm just worried they'll come back. They always do, don't they?"

"Yeah." Rachel sighed. "But we can't exactly live in fear of them. They always find us anyway…"

Ari nodded. "But I'm sure Big Hero 6 can defeat them, I mean they defeated Obake and Diane Amara, and they were really scary!"

Her sister chuckled. "Yeah, they saved you, didn't they?"

"Yes, yes they did." I mean, if it wasn't for Hiro and Fred… I would've maybe still been captured by Yama.

A loud yawn made them look down. "What? Feely stuff is boring." Katie rolled her eyes. "Also I see your friends."

Lo and behold, David was walking into the cafe, guided by Sienna. "Hey!" Ari waved. "Come on over!"

"Hey." David waved back as he and Sienna headed to their table. "How have you been doing?"

"Okay I guess? Not sure why you'd ask."

He rubbed a hand over his ear that had a tear in it. "Well, when I first heard about your whole sister-"

"I am right here." Rachel groaned.

"I can't see you, you didn't say anything." He crossed his arms. "Well, I know how it feels to be separated from your family."

Ari perked up. "You do?"

David nodded. "Mhm, I was separated from my mother, remember?"

Oh, right. She remembered learning about it all that time ago, back when she had gotten kidnapped again. "You're a lot more… adjusted, though."

"That doesn't mean it still hurts."

Sienna tugged Rachel's shoulder. "Let's leave them alone to talk for a bit." There was something all-knowing in her brown eyes, like if she and David had already planned this beforehand. "Alright?"

Her sister looked like she was about to argue. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea." But Katie had other ideas, she was given another look. "What? I know a private conversation when I see it."

As Ari watched Rachel reluctantly leave, she turned her attention back to David. "Okay, who's idea was this?"

"My girlfriend's." He shrugged. "Sienna thought It'd be a good idea for me to talk to you, y'know someone who knows how you feel to relate to."

As flattering as the idea was, she didn't want to burden David with her stupid thoughts. "It's okay, really. I can talk about it with my therapist." Ari waved it off. "Sides, I don't think you can understand the amnesia bits."

"I understand feeling conflicted over your loved ones."

"Huh?"

David spoke again. "When my mother had to give me up… I was really betrayed, I knew that she had no choice to keep me safe, but it still hurt. When she came back into my life and I just kept hearing the bad things she did, I was really mad at her… and I'm still kind of uneasy afterwards." He sheepishly chuckled. "But she's still family, just like the Ferns are my family. And I wouldn't have met my mom, dad, or sisters if she didn't give me up."

"Do you still wish she didn't give you up?" Ari frowned.

He nodded. "Yeah, I wish that I could've grown up with her and the Ferns."

"I see." She thought back to her earlier worry of burdening David. "Thanks for talking to me, y'know. I was skeptical because I didn't want to be a burden or anything-"

"Well, you're not. You're a great person." David explained. "Mikan always cheers up when she sees your little texts, and Juniper never stops talking about you."

The bandana girl looked up. "Really? They do?"

"Yeah! You're not burdening anyone with your thoughts, people sometimes need to rely on other people." He smiled. "Talking to a therapist definitely helps, but occasionally it's good to talk with an open ear. And if you need someone else to talk to, I'll be that open ear."

"A'ight." Ari felt the anxiety worming chest dissipate at David's comforting smile. "Thanks, David." She leaned over to give him a hug. He was stiff from surprise but hugged back.

"Awww." They pulled away at the sound of Sienna fawning over the hug. "That's so sweet."

Click! "Honey, did you just take a photo?" David sweetly questioned.

Sienna nervously chuckled. "Perhaps? I mean it was so cute-mmph!" She cut off as David walked up to her and pulled her into a kiss.

Oh my god they are so cute! Ari internally fangirled. Not as cute as my brother and Karmi or Megan and Juniper, but still cute!

"Uhg, PDA." Katie stuck her tongue out. She got hit by a cookie courtesy of the shipper in the cafe.

Back with the heroes, they had recouped at Fred's house. Despite the comic fan being out of town, they still had the place available to recoup, recover their wounds, and to plan their next course of action.

"They wiped the floor with us." Hiro grumbled in frustration. "And they weren't at full power!"

"Plus, one of them had fire powers." Gogo added.

Baymax lifted a hand. "True, however, Kat was able to detain her in under 2 seconds."

"Good point."

Honey Lemon frowned. "That doesn't matter, we're down two members and they outnumber and outpower us."

"We need more info on these Galaxian Pirates." Hiro got up. "What are they in the first place?"

As he paced, Heathcliff walked into the room. "I believe I can help you with that, Mr. Hamada." They all looked at him. "Follow me."

The butler led them to the Boss Awesome lair, and straight to the old-fashioned villain database. "Why are we here?" Gogo demanded.

"Although Boss Awesome only encountered a few, he did collect info on these Galaxian Pirates." Heathcliff pulled out a box darker than the others. "Long ago, they tried taking over the city after that whole Major Annihilation fiasco."

Honey Lemon gasped. "Oh, that's horrible!" She didn't know much about the organization, but considering Kat's comment about them taking away someone close to them and what they did to Ari… What a cruel group, I wish someone would stop them for good.

"Not to worry madam." The butler reassured her. "Luckily, a kind samaritan provided Boss Awesome with enough info about the Galaxian Pirates and was able to drive them away before they set up a permanent base in the city."

"Who told you the information?" Gogo narrowed her eyes.

"The supplier wished to remain anonymous."

I wonder if it's Kat. Hiro theorized. He wasn't sure of their age, but they did appear to be someone who dealt with the Galaxian Pirates for many years. "And this bit of information will help us defeat them?"

Heathcliff nodded. "Alongside some information I dug up about them, you always want to research your foes if you're going into battle against them." He handed the box to Hiro. "Best of luck tonight."

"Thanks!" Honey Lemon waved as the butler bowed his head and departed.

"So." Gogo learned over as Hiro lifted up one of the files. "What now?"

He grinned. "We start our homework."

In a short amount of time, Hiro had managed to set up a powerpoint in the living room. "So, the Galaxian Pirates tend to work in pairs or groups."

"Just like us." Gogo commented. "But the problem is we're outnumbered."

"We're not the only good guys in the city." Her girlfriend reminded her. "Kat's gonna help us, or maybe we could ask Globby!"

The engineer was skeptical. "Should we get him involved? We didn't drag Globby into the fight with Di's monsters or the Heartless."

"Globby was helping people get to safety when the monster attacked, I looked it up." Honey Lemon explained.

"Good idea, we can at least tell him about the Galaxian Pirates in case they try kidnapping him." Hiro turned back to the powerpoint. "Which brings me back to my next point, is that they can and will fight dirty, even mess with our heads if possible."

Both girlfriends winced. "Man, they really went easy on us, didn't they?" Gogo felt the shame of their earlier defeat against the pirates burn in her chest. If they couldn't beat them while their enemies were just playing around, how could they handle them at their full power? But Honey Lemon gripping her hand and squeezing gently to comfort her helped calm her thoughts. "Wait, that's it."

"What's what?" Honey Lemon raised an eyebrow.

"They weren't working together, sure they beat us, but that's because they split us up." Gogo explained. "So we should try and split them up."

Hiro pointed with his powerpoint pen. "Good idea, I'll write that down in our notes." He closed the powerpoint. "I think we're done here, let's go get Globby!"

As the sun was starting to set on the city, Kat darted between roofs. Wincing as their body reacted in pain. "I heard that wince." Their sister grumbled on the coms. "Kat, did you forget to patch yourself up?"

"I'm just a little winded, Bea." They argued. "I gotta find out what the Galaxian Pirates are planning, they could destroy the city's last hope tonight!"

Bea scoffed. "I doubt it, Indigo likes to draw things out to torture us. They'll probably just invade some tech corporation."

"Yeah but I don't know which one!" Kat balled their claws into fists. "Krei-Tech has shabby security, SecuriTech makes security, and Sycorax is under a bunch of security after they got exposed as a monster factory! There's too many variables to nail down!"

"Uhg, don't remind me about Sycorax." Bea groaned, then she cleared her throat. "Picking up those pirates a few blocks down."

Kat checked their visor. "Ah, I see them. Thanks Bea."

"Be careful." Were her last words as Kat ended the call and tiptoed over. They could see Kamara's violet hair as she stood over the grunts.

Platinum was the one she heard first. "Why do we have to attack Krei-Tech? Doesn't Sycorax have better equipment for the doctor?"

The commander bared her teeth. "Quiet! I'm the leader of the expedition and I say we target Krei-Tech. The police are always guarding the monster factory and the last thing we need is Detective Rosemary finding out about us again!"

"He probably does already." Flare muttered under her breath. "His little rat spawn is a squealer."

Red Panda should've punched you off the roof harder. Kat growled. But nice knowing they're targeting Krei-Tech.

"If I got my hands on that little brat, I'd make her wish that Diane lady finished her off." Platinum cracked his knuckles, making them wince. Uch, whoever that guy is, I don't like him at all.

But then again, Kat didn't like any Galaxian Pirate. "So, we're getting Krei-Tech?" One of the grunts, Falcon, raised a hand.

"Yes you idiot!" Kamara groaned. "We'll take their tech, hand it over to Lancer, and we can make new gear to blow up the city with."

"I want one of those laser blast canons Yama's robot had." Falcon whispered to Flare.

She raised an eyebrow. "Didn't Big Hero 6 blow that up with the stuff you use to make kid volcanoes?"

Falcon blushed from embarrassment. "Well what if it fired the stuff used to make kid volcanoes? What do you think of that, Flare?!"

"Sounds like a terrible weapon."

"Will you idiots shut up!?" Kamara demanded. "Uhg, why did Indigo do this to me? Wasn't failure for my actions enough?"

Platinum shook his head. "Nope." Which made the commander groan and bang her head against the alley wall.

Kat tiptoed away, trying their hardest not to burst from laughter. Oh, this is comedy gold, better go fetch the heroes so they know what the idiot squad is planning.

Meanwhile with Big Hero 6…

"So, let me get this straight." Felony Carl was standing in front of the heroes, Globby watching in concern. "You want Globs to help you against some villains who call themselves 'Galaxian Pirates,' and one of them was that nurse at the Sunset Boulevard Hospital who tried kidnapping some of the patients."

"Yes." Baymax was bravely in front of the ground.

"Only if Globby wants to help." Honey Lemon corrected.

"But even if you don't, we at least wanted to warn you about those guys." Hiro explained. "In case they tried going after you."

"Hm." Felony Carl turned to his boyfriend. "Globs?"

Globby stood up. "Of course I'm gonna help you guys! It'll be like when we stopped Obake!"

They winced. "Please don't bring that up." Gogo told him.

"Yay!" Honey Lemon beamed, hugging the glob monster. "We get to team up again!"

"I'm definitely excited about that!" Globby also beamed.

Superhero Squad group chat:

Ariel: I'm offended for my dad's sake

Chem Girl: Anyways stay at home Ari!

Ariel: What do you think I'd do? Not?

"We looked all over the city, I'm not sure where the Galaxian Pirates could be." After recruiting Globby to help them for the night, they were standing by Krei-Tech as they hunted for the villains.

"Maybe they called the night off?" Honey Lemon looked hopeful.

Hiro shook his head. "No, they're not the kind of baddies who'd lightly make threats."

"You got that right." Gogo recalled how painful Voltrax's lighting attacks were. "Globby, do you have any ideas?"

The glob monster's bright green eyes were looking up at Krei-Tech. "I think we have company." They pulled out their gear. "Do these Galaxian guys dress up in white?"

"No, they do not!" The heroes relaxed as Kat hopped down from the roof. "Sup, been waiting for you."

"You couldn't have sent a text?" Hiro gestured.

Kat titled their head at him. "Last I checked, you didn't give me your number." They huffed. "Anyways, the Galaxian Pirates are planning on raiding Krei-Tech for their stuff."

Gogo pretended to be shocked. "Oh no, we should've seen this coming."

"Remember what we learned, Speed Queen." Honey Lemon patted her shoulder. The database Boss Awesome had on the Galaxian Pirates revealed some of their fighting tactics, they were ready for round two, and they'd win.

"I think I have an idea on how to turn the tables." Hiro cracked his knuckles. "Globby, can you set up chemical traps outside the perimeter?"

To demonstrate, Globby created purple bubbles that looked like copies of Honey Lemon's chem balls. He tossed a few by the entrance, hidden by sight until an unlucky intruder stepped on them. "I can do that!"

"Great, once you're done, join us inside." The robotics genius had a grin as the gears whirred inside his head. "We've got some engineering to do."

By the time the Galaxian Pirates arrived, night had fallen over the city. "Okay, no sign of the heroes." Lonna scouted the perimeter. "We're in the clear."

"Excellent." Kamara grinned. "Let's roll out." But as they stepped onto the grass, the sound of something popping and a scream rang out. "What the?!" She turned to see Flare had tripped up one of the chemical traps.

The redhead cursed as she tried to break free of her prison. "What the heck?! Get me out of this! Get me out!"

"Shut up you loudmouth!" One grunt cursed at her, but he took a backwards step and got stuck in a trap himself. "Aaaaaaaah help me, help!"

Kamara could only facepalm. "Why did Indigo lend me this pack of idiots?"

Gogo looked out of the window. "We got company."

"Darn, we're still not finished." Hiro was wiring a Buddy Guard with protective covering, in case any of the Galaxian Pirates tripped up the sprinkler system, the robots wouldn't turn on them. "Gogo, Kat, can you hold them off?"

The snow-cloaked superhero bristled. "I'm not taking orders from someone half my age, but fine, only because this is a good plan." Kat dropped a scrap of metal and walked out.

"Someone needs their beauty sleep." Gogo muttered before following them.

Honey Lemon used one of her chem balls to seal the covering onto a Buddy Guard, beside her Globby was using the same with his goop. "Why do we need to put chemicals in the bots?"

"For a little surprise." Hiro grinned. But before he could explain his plan, the sounds of footsteps followed by punches grew surprisingly close. "Welp, I guess our baddies have arrived."

"In that case, I'm gonna help Gogo out!" The chemist stood up. "I can't leave her alone after what happened last time!"

"Be careful!" Globby told her as she ran out to defend her girlfriend from the wrath of the Galaxian Pirates.

"Okay, I have a question for you." Gogo turned to Kat. "How did you get your gloves to work like that?"

Kat was fending off Kamara with growing carbyne from their claws. "I took inspiration from a certain former werecat, it looked cool." They explained.

Ah, it did remind me of Momakase's for some reason. "And dangerous." The engineer frowned. "You didn't insert any chips for that trick, right?"

"Less science talk more fight talk!" Kat leapt over Kamara and swiped with their claws. "Haven't seen you since you tried kidnapping Ari, finally tried showing your face?" Wait, this woman did WHAT?!

"Because of you, I got demoted to a lousy commander!" Kamara growled. "I was a general, a leader before you set me up!"

"Oh yeah, general of a bunch of creeps, how wonderful your legacy was." Kat sarcastically mocked before swiping at Kamara again, this time landing a blow that sent her into the wall.

Gogo threw a disk at the commander while she was down. "That's for kidnapping children!" She growled. But then felt a foot kick her sides. "Ow?!" It was Platinum.

The cat masked pirate looked down at her. "You should watch where you're going." He held up a dagger. "I'm gonna enjoy this."

She raised her arms over her face to block the blow, but it never came. A cry and the sound of a pop made her look up to see Platinum covered in blocks of gloop.

"Don't you dare touch my girlfriend!" Honey Lemon snarled. "Captain, now!"

Hiro was standing from the room, button in hand. "Buddy Guards, attack!"

Gogo watched in admiration as the Buddy Guards charged at the Galaxian Pirates, and attacked with ropes and lasers that had an added kick of her girlfriend's chem balls and Globby's goop.

The glob monster himself had joined the fray, taking the form of a bull and charging Kamara. "Ah-ha!"

Then Kat swiped their claws again, knocking Kamara out of the window, she landed on top of one of the chemical traps. "Boss!" Flare had escaped hers and pulled Kamara out.
"RETREAT!" She shouted to her goons.

"Oh, I am not leaving easily!" Lonna pounced, tackling Gogo. She punched Gogo's arm, the engineer kicked Lonna's stomach and knocked her back. "Oof!"

"Try and handle this!" Gogo got up and threw a disk just as Lonna threw one of her dagger pins that knocked the disk back.

Then Platinum scooped up his teammate. "Hey, what are you-?!" Lonna kicked. "Let me go!"

"When Kamara says retreat, we retreat." He growled.

Big Hero 6 watched with content as the rest of the Galaxian Pirates fled the building, enhanced Buddy Guards on their trail. "I reprogrammed those Buddy Guards to follow the Galaxian Pirates until they are destroyed." Hiro smirked. "They need a little reminder of who they're messing with."

"Nice!" Kat gave him a thumbs up. "That'll teach em. Anyways I better go back to my apartment and get some rest." But as Kat tried leaving, Honey Lemon froze them in place. "Hey, what the heck?!"

Honey Lemon giggled. "Sorry! But you can't just disappear on us, we have questions."

"Yeah, who are you?" Gogo questioned.

"And what's your deal with my sister?" Hiro added. "We're not letting you go until we get answers."

The snow-cloaked superhero groaned. "Fine… I'm the self-proclaimed protector of the Rosemary family, their oldest keeps getting involved with those jerks so I'm looking out for her too." Kat explained. "I only got involved with the monster thing in the first place because you guys are too important for the city to lose and I was ticked off that Diane lady hurt Ari. And then she mutated her!"

"Don't remind us." Hiro growled.

Globby blinked. "Wait, she did what?!" The glob monster then placed a hand to his head. "Ow, I think I tackled that commander too hard."

"Globby are you okay?" Honey Lemon glanced at him in concern. "You're looking a little blue."

He waved it off. "I'll be fine!"

"Anyways, can I go now?" Kat gestured. "As cool as I am, I need sleep."

Honey Lemon glanced over to Hiro. "Let them go, they're not our enemy."

As the chemist tossed a ball that melted the goop, Kat hopped over to the window. "I'm not a villain, or a hero if I'm honest, I'm just someone that wants to defeat those Galaxian Pirates once and for all, they've been knocked down to the point where it's victory or death for them."

"Let's hope it doesn't come to death." Gogo winced. She wasn't sacrificing her morals to defeat her enemies.

Kat looked away. "Yeah, I'll see you guys around."

"Bye Kat!" Honey Lemon waved.

As their ally left, Globby turned to them. "If you guys need help, let me know." He pumped his fist. "San Fransokyo is my home, I still feel bad for trying to destroy it once, so I wanna protect it too."

"Yeah." Hiro smiled. "We're not letting anyone hurt it ever again."

The Galaxian Pirates would return, but they would not let them win.

As for the pirates themself, they were squatting in an abandoned warehouse. Their temporary base of operations during their scouting. "Blast!" Flare hissed, drinking a potent concoction to drown her misery in. "Stupid Big Hero 6!"

"Technically Big Hero 4." Lonna rolled her eyes. "I didn't see a green slasher guy or lizard breath guy anywhere."

Platinum nodded his head in agreement. "No, but they did have Globby."

"Oh, that's even worse!" The former Silver Raven growled. "That glob monster used to be a respectable threat until he chickened and became a goody two-shoe! Uch!"

"Not to worry, my pirates." Kamara was sulking in the shadows, something slithering by her feet. "This was merely a test, we now know that Kat is more visible."

Flare raised her mug. "I hate that traitor most of all!"

Lonna raised an eyebrow. "What did they even do?"

"Don't get her started." Falcon grumbled.

"Shut up, Falkus!"

"That isn't my name, it's Falcon!"

Kamara whistled and they all shut up. Lonna yelped as something crawled by her leg, only as the creature slithered around Kamara to reveal itself as a dark scaled snake. "I have a plan to lay those heroes low."

"Oh, joy." The redheaded pirate hiccuped, but then screamed as a snake bit her foot and she passed out from the venom.

"Good girl, Oleander." The rest of the grunts lifted their feet as Kamara continued. "We will continue this mission of gathering information for our leader, and most importantly, claim San Fransokyo in the name of the Galaxian Pirates! No matter what gets in our way!"

AN: I had fun writing this, hope you enjoyed the first chapter of FFP! This was just to introduce the Galaxian Pirates (or GP) officially

Also I did not expect this chapter to be so long lol, I don't want to do like split chapters into 2-3 parts that much anymore with the exception of chapters that serve as the "final act" of an arc, we're in the first arc right now which basically introduces the GP as a threat.

And by a threat I mean they are going to rack up our main character's therapy bills with how much they're gonna get put through

A good chunk of the pirates are unnamed but a lot of the higher-ranked ones (and Lonna) are given names. Speaking of Lonna, hope you enjoyed seeing her again!

The next chapter will focus on one of the canon episodes, Mini-Maximum Trouble
