After he opened his eyes after a nice restful sleep, it took Kazuha a few seconds to fully process where he was. When it finally clicked in his head that he was back in Chaldea, the displaced Inazuman had to suppress a loud groan of despair. Just when he was going to return home, he was sent back here—that was just… great.

'Pick yourself up, this isn't the end of the world.' He pushed to his feet and looked up… only to see a familiar pair of burning red eyes.

"What did you do?" The Servant from before accused him.

"I've already said before. I have no hand in this," Kazuha politely and calmly replied. "Not that I am aware of anyway…"

"...Put on some clothes. We're going to see someone," the Servant gruffly ordered. At least he believed what Kazuha said, the latter thought. The wandering samurai hoped that the attire the blacksmith gave him was still available for him to wear…

Chaldea was a dangerous place— that much was clear to Kazuha. The first time he was here, he could tell every single person except the ones in uniform like Ritsuka's were not "normal," for lack of a better descriptor. The massive slab of meat accompanying Jason from the previous time he was here was just one example; even the children under the care of Kamisato heiress's soundalike were not normal.

What solidified that fact was the man in white named Merlin rolling out a whiteboard with many mugshots tiered from "Safe" to "Stay 100 feet away".

"Remember all these faces, Kaedehara," Merlin advised. "Especially the ones at the bottom here. Make a single mistake around them and even though you are in Master's body, you might find yourself with a pierced heart."

"Or a charred body and not just from me," the Count added, whose mugshot Kazuha noticed was near the bottom. Should he not be in the safe category since he was already aware? Then again, he still threatened Kazuha with that outcome last time.

Regardless, Merlin continued with the lesson. "The moral of the story is be absolutely careful with everyone down here. At least not until we get a grasp of you and Fujimaru's body-swapping issues. If we—and by that I mean you—don't have an answer, it's very likely they'll react violently." In complete dissonance with his words, he had an amused grin on his face. His general attitude reminded him of someone, he just couldn't place a finger on who…

"What of the ones at the top of the list?" Kazuha questioned while scanning the pictures. "Should we not tell them as soon as possible?"

"We should, shouldn't we? Especially those like Da Vinci," Merlin agreed. "Best we make our way to the command room. They should be there right no—"

"This is an emergency announcement." The P.A. system suddenly came to life, startling Kazuha. "If anyone knows where the Master of Chaldea is, please report to the command room urgently. His current position is unknown and—" The message continued on but Kazuha's attention was drawn away by Merlin.

"Looks like that's our cue. Come along, Kaedehara. We should get going before half of Chaldea gets turned upside down."

Kazuha stood up and followed after Merlin; the Count trailed behind them, guarding their backs just in case. Kazuha's mind, meanwhile, pondered on what was going on. 'Just what sort of place was this…?'

Ritsuka was not sure what he expected when the ship reached shore but a Japanese-styled town… was actually one of them. An island nation across the sea from what was clearly the stand-in for China in this world? This was natural although the buildings looked more purple than he initially thought. What caught his sight the most though was not the town itself but the tall mountain just beyond it. The peak was glowing and he was pretty sure there were buildings up there.

'I wonder what's up there…' he thought to himself as he peered over the edge of the ship. However, he was soon interrupted by a slap to the back— "Yo, Fujimaru!"

Beidou's sudden appearance made Ritsuka's (or Kazuha's to be more accurate) heart skip a beat, mainly in part due to how strong her friendly slap was. "Oh, it's you Captain," he sighed in relief. "I'm guessing it's time for that talk you mentioned."

She nodded and motioned for him to follow her to some nearby crates. When they reached them, Beidou took out a map and a small package, laying them out on the wooden surface. "I won't mince words, Fujimaru. You came at a bad time," she told him with an exasperated tone. "Kazuha was going to run an important errand for me while I deal with other things."

"Uh, sorry about that."

"Don't worry about it; I know it's not really your fault. However, this commission needs to be done and you're the only one we can trust to do it," Beidou told him. "Mainly because you have Kazuha's face. You can get through the main security and give the package directly. Can you do this?"

Well… it's not like he could refuse. Not when Beidou was making this out to be such an important job. "You can count on me," Ritsuka said with a serious expression. "Just tell me what I need to do." He just hoped this was not something illegal in a bad way.

"Alright, thanks for this," Beidou let out a relieved sigh before directing his attention to the map. Ritsuka tried his best to memorise the island's towns and roads as Beidou explained, "This is the best way for you to reach the Yashiro Commission's headquarters on the eastern side of the island. We're currently here in Ritou—" she tapped on a town on the western side and moved her finger down the road south. "You'll have to head down through Konda Village until you reach this crossing at the Bijou Plains."

'Yashiro Commission, Konda Village, Bijou Plains… got it, got it…' Ritsuka nodded along with the directions.

"From there, you head northeast and through Chinju Forest. Just follow the path till you reach the Yashiro Commission. Once there, ask to meet the Commissioner and give him this," she pointed towards the package. It was a simple box with some writing on it. "Tell him that it's from the Tianquan and about a recent discovery they made; he will understand. If you don't run into trouble, you should be there by nightfall."

"Alright, got it," Ritsuka nodded. However, there was one thing he was wondering. "Is there a reason I can't go north? It looks like it would take a shorter time."

"It's too dangerous for you." Beidou was blunt that was for sure. "Ruin Hunters and such tend to wander the area. Better you steer clear of them since… you know."

"Yeah, that's fair…" Ritsuka admitted.

"Oh, and don't be surprised if the Commissioner asked you to run another errand for him."

What was he? An RPG protagonist? "Got it."

"And do you still have the letter from the Traveler? You better bring it with you just in case… and you might score a little Mora if you see the Commissioner's sister," Beidou stifled a chuckle but quickly got back to business. She handed him the package and told him to be careful. "Good luck. We're counting on you."

"I won't let you down," saluted Ritsuka before running off towards the plank down to the docks. Beidou's eye followed him until he turned a corner and disappeared from sight.

'…Maybe I should've sent someone with him.' Well, too late now. The best she could do now is hope for the best.

A/N: Alright, chaos should start next chapter. So what's in the package? Gimme ideas cause I have no clue either insert derpy face here
