The Cul-De-Sac Boys had finally touched down in Japan and as they exited the airport, they gazed at all the sights waiting for them.
"Whoo-Hoo! Take it in, boys!" Eddy cackled.
"ANIME!" Ed cheered, seeing a poster for the new One Piece movie with stars in his eyes.
"This is it...I'll get stronger for sure!" Jimmy said with determination in his eyes.
"Rolf has a basic grasp of the Japanese word now thanks to Head-In-Sock Edd-Boy," Rolf said as Double-D nodded.
"Yes, I'm very proud of how fast you are at learning."
Kevin grinned. "Righteous."
"What's that, buddy?" Johnny asked Plank. "You're starving? Yeah, I'm hungry too."
"Hmmm, there's this sushi restaurant that's not too far off from where we'll be staying," Double-D said as he looked at the map. "Hanzo's Sushi Dojo."
"Sounds fancy!" Eddy grinned. "Let's get some grub, boys!"
Arriving at the restaurant, the Peach Creek Boys looked around to see it was a sushi restaurant that also looked like it had a built-in dojo for training students in martial arts.
"Heh, guess this is a 2-for-1 deal, huh?" Kevin noted. "Good eats and good kicks!"
"Ah, welcome!" An old man, no doubt the owner of the restaurant, greeted them. "You're not from around here, are you?"
"Konichiwa, good sir." Double-D bowed respectfully. "We just flew in from America and we'd like a table for seven here."
"Ahem!" Johnny said with a stink eye, gesturing to Plank as Double-D rolled his eyes.
"Sorry, table for EIGHT."
The old man nodded. "You're in luck! I've got just the table for you all! Come right this way!"
The boys were seated at their table, Johnny happily placing Plank on the seat next to his while the old man provided them their menus.
"Oh, this looks nice!" Double-D smiled as he pointed to a Veggie Dish.
"Squid for Ed!" Ed beamed as he pointed to some fried squid.
"You want the Sushi Boat, Plank?!" Johnny asked his wooden pal in surprise. "Alright, but be sure to share!"
"Ah, Rolf is pleased to see they have fine cuts of meat even in Japan!" Rolf smiled as he saw a steak dish.
After all the boys had placed their orders, the old man zipped into the kitchen at surprising speeds. As they waited for their meals to be ready, the boys decided to pass the time with some light banter.
"So, what kind of house are we staying at, Double-D?" Eddy asked.
"Oh, it's a very nice house set to accommodate all our needs!" The Sock-Hatted Lad smiled as he showed his friends a picture of where they'd be living for the duration of their stay in Japan.
"WHOA! That's where we're living in?" Kevin asked. "Righteous!"
"It's even got a pool! Perfect for working on my tan!" Eddy grinned.
"And it even has finely rich soil for Rolf to plant his potatoes!" Rolf smiled.
"Man, all this just for us? Whoever's providing for our trip sure has some deep pockets!" Johnny noted.
Soon, the old man returned with all of the boys' orders. Double-D got his Veggie Dish, Johnny and Plank got the Sushi Boat not just for themselves but for everyone else to share, Ed got Ika Odori Don, Eddy got Chicken Teriyaki with Rice, Rolf got Japanese Style Garlic Steak, Jimmy got Tempura Shrimp and Tonkatsu, and Kevin got Shrimp Ramen.
"Whoo! This is good eating!" Johnny said as he happily bit into a California Roll.
"Ed, please use chopsticks!" Double-D pleaded to his oafish friend as he just stuffed the fried squids into his mouth.
"Heh, that Naruto guy wasn't kidding when he said Ramen is awesome." Kevin chuckled as he enjoyed his noodles.
As the boys ate, someone else entered the restaurant, causing them to perk up and notice a girl had walked in. Immediately, she had caught all of their eyes.
She had dark brown hair tied in a ponytail with a white ribbon, hazel brown eyes, and wore a traditional schoolgirl uniform. What really caught the boy's attention was her exceptionally modestly large breasts. The old man smiled when he noticed her and went over to give her a hug.
"Asuka! How kind of my sweet little granddaughter to pay this old man a visit!"
"Easy, Grandpa Hanzo!" The girl, Asuka, giggled as she hugged back. "I just came by to order some Futomaki Rolls. The girls and I are going to have a picnic later today!"
"Coming right up!" The old man, Hanzo, said as he dashed into the kitchen at speeds almost like a ninja. The girl smiled before noticing the Peach Creek Boys staring at her and a small blush overtook her cute face as she looked away.
"Okay, that's a certified F-Cup right there," Eddy said, unable to keep his eyes off the girl's chest. "PG-13, baby!"
"Eddy, show some respect!" Double-D snapped, slapping his friend upside the head. He had been more intently staring at her beautiful face and eyes like a true gentleman would, but he did privately admit the rest of her body was lovely.
"Avert your eyes, Plank!" Johnny said, blushing slightly as he covered Plank's 'eyes'.
"You may not see it but I do. That girl has the frame of a warrior!" Rolf noted as he analyzed the girl all over with a critical eye.
Jimmy shyly mumbled to himself, trying not to stare too much as he twiddled his thumbs. As for Kevin, he just rubbed his chin, his eyes zeroing in on her before smiling and pointing his fingers at her.
"Nice."
"Here you go, Asuka!" Hanzo said as he came back with several large bento boxes stacked together. Asuka beamed as she took them and waved her grandfather goodbye before skipping off.
"Guys, my stomach feels all wiggly and odd inside," Ed said, a bit of red on his cheeks.
"Heh, she was even prettier than Nazz and that's saying something!" Eddy said with a smirk.
"Well, I think we've had our fill gentlemen. Let's pay and go." Double-D said.
"No need, boys. It's on the house." Hanzo smirked. "Let's just say a friend offered to pay for you."
"Well, that's very nice. Whoever this friend is, tell them we offer our sincerest thank yous." Double-D smiled as the boys left.
Unbeknownst to them, the 'friend' was sitting at the bar area, stirring a glass of sake as Hanzo walked over to him.
"Those are the boys, alright. You sure they have the potential?"
"I'm more than sure, Master Hanzo." The 'friend' said, revealing a blood-red left eye with spiral markings and a black shuriken star imposed over it and a purple right eye with rings and tomoes. The rest of his face was shadowed by the bamboo hat he wore.
"Well, at least give them time to adjust to their new home first," Hanzo said. "After all, they should be allowed to enjoy life as well."
The Cul-De-Sac Boys, after taking some time to do some sightseeing, arrived at their new home and headed inside, finding a spacious living room with an 8-man sofa and a flat-screen TV.
"Boys, we could stay here forever! We're practically rich, I tell ya!" Eddy grinned like a maniac as he leaped and sat down on the sofa.
"Alas, Greedy Ed-Boy, this is merely a temporary stay for our accommodation in Japan. Like a strip of bacon put on the cooking pan." Rolf pointed out.
"Man, this could fit a hundred people, huh Plank?" Johnny beamed as he explored every nook and cranny of the house.
"They even have our rooms labeled for us!" Double-D smiled as he saw his name on a wooden engraving above a door. "What wonderful consideration from our benefactors!"
Each of the boys checked out their rooms and marveled at the fact that they were all tailored to their tastes.
Ed's room was the perfect Sci-Fi/Kaiju Nerd Dream Room, Double-D's room had a modern science aesthetic to it, and Eddy saw his room was set up vintage 70s style just like his room back home and he even had dollar sign curtains.
Johnny smiled, holding Plank close as he inspected their room, which had an earthly, eco-friendly nature style. Rolf felt like he never left home as his room was styled just like the Old Country and even had a patio door that led to a nice spacious field for him to do some farming.
Kevin whistled at the sight of his room, which had a sporty theme to him which fit his jock lifestyle. He leaped onto his bed and decided to kick back for a nap as he chuckled.
"I outta put in some equipment here. Gotta stay in shape, after all."
Jimmy marveled at his room, which had an artistic aesthetic and even had a table for him to work on his arts and crafts skills. He happily took his prized plush bunny Mr. Yum-Yum and placed him neatly on the bed.
"Isn't this exciting, Mr. Yum-Yum? A home in Japan!" The shy boy gushed though he frowned when he remembered the whole Sumo Wrestler Scam the Eds did with him a while ago.
After a few hours of getting accustomed to their new home, the Peach Creek Boys sat down in the kitchen area for dinner. They noticed that the tables were big enough to have multiple guests seated alongside them, which would be good if they ever decided to throw a party in the future.
"Luckily I know some Japanese dishes from my parents. Mother and Father took me here on a trip when I was little." Double-D smiled as he got to work.
"Rolf shall assist you in the endeavor of cooking, Brainy Edd-Boy!" Rolf said as he joined Double-D.
"Ooh! I know some dishes too! I can cook a mean Rice Omelette!" Jimmy beamed as he skipped over.
"So, what are we doing tomorrow, Sockhead?" Eddy asked as the three cooks of the group got to work on dinner.
"Well, from what I've gathered, we've been enlisted to do a school survey on three other schools; Hanzo National Academy, Gessen Academy, and Hebijo Clandestine Academy. The latter two actually used to be all-girls schools but have recently become co-ed." Double-D explained.
"If they just recently became co-ed, then they've gotta have some hot babes!" Kevin grinned.
"We're not here to do such filthy skirt-chasing, Kevin-Boy!" Rolf snapped. "We are to see which school is welcoming of our academic talents!"
"What's that, Plank?" Johnny asked his wooden companion. "Tomorrow is gonna be super exciting? Well, I think so too!"
"Do you think we'll get to eat lunches on the rooftops, guys?" Ed asked out of the blue as Eddy chuckled and patted his oafish pal on the back.
"Ed, we'll do ALL the anime cliches, just for you, buddy."
As dinner was served and the Peach Creek Boys continued to chat about what they had planned for tomorrow, none of them noticed they were being watched by the mysterious figure in the bamboo hat from Hanzo's Sushi Dojo, who simply nodded his head before disappearing in a swirl of spatial distortion.
"Your journey begins here, boys. Get ready for some life and hometown coming your way." His voice echoed with a playful chuckle.
In the next chapter, the Cul-De-Sac Boys begin their school survey trip, starting with Hanzo National Academy!
