Set before Camino
"We're closing in on the target," Commander Fox stated coldly. "Everyone get ready."
His brothers solemnly nodded and readied their blasters, as the LAATs reached the target position, headlights targeted on their rogue brother.
"Fives, we are listening to you," Rex said as he and Izuku got closer. "We only want to help."
"How do I know you're not tricking me?" Fives demanded to know, panicking. "How do I know this isn't a trap? Shiozaki's trying to kill me…I-I promise you that!"
"Shiozaki?" Izuku asked in confusion.
Meanwhile, Fox's squadron finally arrived.
"Fives you're not making any sense, just calm down-"
"STAND DOWN, FIVES!"
Fives gasped and turned around to see Fox's squad approaching.
"No! You can't make me!"
"Stand down, soldier!"
Fives reached forward to fight.
Fox pulled the trigger.
"FIVES!"
Earlier
It was sudden, the alarm blaring throughout the entirety of the school.
Students all over campus immediately raised their guard while clones switched off the safety on their blasters, looking around for potential intruders while squads ran towards the wall to check for damages.
Inside the main building students and clones were in pretty much the same situation, until someone ran through the hallway too quickly for anyone to see, followed by a certain hero student with vine hair.
"All stations, stop what you're doing and stop Midoriya!" Shiozaki cried out as she chased him, holding a syringe in one of her hands while announcing the message over her wristcomm.
There was a pause and then students and clones pointed at each other in confusion.
"You?"
"You?"
"Me?"
"Did she mean you or me?"
"Ah-" she bit back a curse. "FIVES! CAPTURE FIVES! HE'S HEADING INTO SECTOR FOUR!"
Just as she said that, Shouji entered said section, everyone turning to face him.
"Uh…do I have something on my face? What's the deal?" he asked in confusion, feeling somewhat nervous due to the looks sent his way.
"FIVES!" he heard, turning to see Ibara barreling down the hallway. "He's right there he's right behind-turn AROUND!" she screamed, waving her arm in a spinning motion above her head.
"I don't see him, Shiozaki-san," he said, even more confused than before.
The student turned, and Fives was conveniently revealed behind him, hanging off his back while the tall student's many arms had started to reach over to feel on his back.
"Eheh…" Fives chuckled awkwardly, as Ochako who was currently wearing her helmet, switched on the visor.
Utter pandemonium erupted as Fives leaped away, students and clones chasing him down. He was barely able to escape them by the skin of his teeth.
"FIVES! STOP RIGHT THERE! YOU NEED THIS VACCINATION LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!" Kix bellowed as he fired a tow cable at him, his brother dodging it as he leaped over a student trying to block him.
"Forget it! I hate needles!" Fives screamed and jumped up into one of the vents, crawling through them.
"This should give me some time…" he muttered, before he heard something shuffling through the vents, before something pounced at his face causing him to scream and roll around, falling out onto the floor and pulled off whatever had clung to him, revealing a cat wearing a student uniform.
"N-nekonya-san!?" He sputtered, before he muttered an apology and flung her into the crowd of other students, causing her to land on top of one of them.
As he kept on running, he suddenly fell flat on his face and looked down to see a pair of hands had wrapped themselves around his ankles, quickly deducing it was Setsuna and pulled them off just as the lizard girl came hovering towards him.
"I am NOT taking that shot!" He yelled and threw her own hands at her which she dodged.
"You mis-YEOUCH!" sadly for her though, she hadn't bothered pulling her hands back which resulted in then being trampled.
The pursuit was lengthy, and somehow through all the chaos of quirks and blasters, he managed to get outside.
Only for LAATs and speeders to be pursuing him too.
But he needed to escape.
He eventually burst through a window and actually landed on a LAAT, the vehicle moving upwards and, using the momentum, he leaped off and used his own tow line to try and head up to the roof of the school.
What he was going to do then he had no idea, but for now, it was better than nothing.
The sudden shattering of glass below him brought his attention to a now extremely annoyed Shiozaki, who had burst through the windows before using her vines to dig into the cement supports along the outside, trailing after him.
"FIVES!" she roared as she then clawed her way up before using her vines to burst forward and grab him by the neck, the upward momentum sending them flying a bit as she lashed out with a vine before reeling it, chokeslamming him into the side of the school.
He barely managed to get his feet beneath her and kick her off before using his tow line to swing to another position.
'This girl's terrifying!' he thought as he now saw an enraged Shiozaki who looked straight up demonic in complete contrast to her normal angelic self.
Fives eeped.
Now, you may ask why this was happening. Let's turn back the clock a few minutes.
Earlier.
CT-5555, conveniently and aptly named 'Fives' swallowed the lump in his throat as he stood in line with his brothers on their way to Recovery Girl's office, the freckled teen shuffling slightly as the line grew smaller and smaller.
Why was he so nervous you may ask? Well, it was at that time of the year where the clones had to get their first vaccine shot against measles.
Now, normally this would be all fine and dandy without any big problems for any of the clones, however it was for Fives.
As it turned out that he had a nearly crippling fear of needles which he had tried to steel himself against to little avail, but he had told himself he was gonna man up and take the needle. His brothers had after all told him that it was only a tiny prick and nothing more.
'Alright, Fives… it's only a vaccination, nothing more. You've been hurt before even worse. It's not that bad,' he thought to himself, trying to reassure that everything would be fine right up until he was called in.
"Alright… Fives! You're up!" Recovery Girl called out from within her office.
Slowly stepping inside, trembling from head to toe, Fives sat down and looked around, seeing Kix and Shiozaki being there too.
"Now, are you ready for your vaccination?" Shiozaki asked, holding the syringe, pumping out the air as the clone slowly nodded and reluctantly removed the armor on his arm and rolled up his body suit.
"Hold still, this will only take a second, ok?" She said and slowly brought the needle closer and closer to his arm.
Just as it was about to go into his flesh however, Fives lost his cool, letting out a half choked scream and jumped off of the chair he was sitting on, storming out of the office and nearly stumbling in the process.
Back to the present
All of this chaos was caused because of Fives panicking and running, however Shiozaki who had recently gotten some extra lessons from Recovery Girl was even more relentless than he had given her credit for, as she currently was hanging out the side of the Negotiator holding a loudspeaker and the syringe alongside Kix.
"Hold it right there, mister! You will take this shot before you end up with measles!" She shouted at him as he pushed his legs to the max, before hearing very familiar metallic steps and barely managed to avoid the legs of Blitz's AT-RT after jumping up and was now sitting on the cannon.
"I'll give you until the count of three to surrender peacefully, Vod. One. Two-" Blitz started to count, before Fives very unceremoniously punched him off and jumped into the seat.
"You didn't wait for three!" Blitz shouted in indignation before hitting the ground.
Fives looked around and noticed that even the general education and business course students were in on this!
"That's just not fair!" he whined, before noticing a roadblock up ahead, with some of his brothers seemingly working on something.
"A little to the left! A little bit more!" Fox said, while two of their brothers who were currently carrying around a large billboard grumbled in annoyance over having to work their asses off.
Just as they set it down however, the small group felt the ground rumbling and heard several exclamations before turning their heads towards the source.
The source in question being the stolen AT-RT and over half the student body chasing after it.
Barely managing to get out of the way before getting flattened.
Standing up, the leader of the UA Guard shook his fist at them.
"Turbo revving young punks! I'll straighten yer out yet!" He shouted at them, before stopping one of the speeders and got on one, also placing some sirens on it.
"Oh shit! The cops!" Fives shrieked as he looked towards Tipoca Dorms and headed towards them.
Inside a Rookie was currently playing some catch with Eri, the two taking a short break with some apple juice.
"I'm just saying, Eri… Mega Force is far from the best season of Power Rangers…" he sighed.
"But they're so cool! And that robot guy!"
"Eri, Eri, Eri… listen… they're pirates at one point… pirates aren't good…" he sighed, trying to make her see some reason.
"The Strawhats are pirates! They're good!" She pouted, using the name of a pirate group from a manga and anime from before the Dawn of Quirks.
"I… uuuugh…." He grunted, trying to come up with a counterargument, before the doors burst open in seemingly slow motion, Fives in the lead on an AT-RT with an amalgamation of clones and students chasing him.
Grabbing Eri and jumping into one of the capsule beds, the two hugged each other as the rumbling continued before it died down, the two slowly looking outside to see everything having been trampled while Draluram stumbled out of his capsule and looked in the direction of the huge crowd, before starting to swear at them in Italian.
Safe to say, the only thing the young clone and little girl could do, was looking at each other and shrug.
The chase continued, until Fives was eventually cornered by Izuku and Rex, though he managed to trap them, it did nothing for the army going after him.
And that's what led to now.
"YEOWCH!"
Fives looked down at his chest where a small dart was not embedded, causing his eye to twitch a few times before the white turned out of his eyes, the clone fainting.
"Fives! Hang in there! It'll be alright!" Rex reassured, as Fox and his squad encircled them, helmets off.
"Oh quiet you big baby!" Shiozaki grunted in annoyance as she pushed through the crowd and crouched down to inject him. Fives' antics had frustrated her to no end, so much that her compassion had quite simply run out for him.
Mentioned clone grumbled as he rubbed his shoulder after being released from his restraints.
"You're so mean Shiozaki."
"I-you know what, I'm not even gonna bother," Shiozaki said as she left the room, Kix and the other medics following soon after.
…
"Well, at least that's over."
As they talked it out, Thire elbowed Fox in the ribs.
"Did you really have to resort to shooting him, bro? That ain't right man…" he said, looking at his older brother disapprovingly while Fox looked downright offended.
"It was a tranquilizer round!" Fox exclaimed while Fives sent a stink eye in his direction.
"At least… the nightmare is finally over…" Fives groaned as he finally allowed himself to faint again.
