A surprise – Lucky x Javier
AN: hello my lovelies for once I'm not writing anything Coco or Encanto related and I have been re-watching spirit riding free from when I was 13 or 12 and I just thought that I should write this because I forgot how cute this couple is and there are not many works in this department so enjoy.

The Pal's were enjoying a sunset ride on the beautiful beach at Palomino Bluffs with the wind in there hair and laughter , Yes everything was right as the girls rode and chatted about how their day went.
"I am so glad our finals are over now we can relax and let loose". Pru breathed
"Me too I am exhausted". Lucky agreed
"Well think about it this way two more weeks until we're back on the frontier, I think we can wait out a little while longer. Abigail replied
"I can't wait to head home, Not that I won't miss it here it's just…" Lucky said
"Lucky it's okay we will miss school too". Abigail replies
"Thanks Pal's What would I do without you". Lucky smiled
"Never learn how to ride a horse let alone a wild one ". Pru joked
"Ha, Ha very funny ". Lucky rolled her eyes
"Besides just in time for your 16th birthday , that means cake and a lot of it and a special ride over skull rock". Abigail motioned
"That sounds like the best birthday ever ". Lucky smiled
"Just try not to eat too much Cake like last time we all know what happened , I had to control you so you wouldn't go crazy". Pru brought up
"Okay I promise no overload this time, But to be fair it was a fiesta". Abigail said
"Good because I don't want to clean up your mess it was disgusting ". Pru shivers
"Okay you two , we better head back before Headmaster Perkins sees us out after hours, The last one to the Cantor house is a rotten egg". Lucky yelled
Lucky mounted Spirit and sped off pru and Abigail falling behind as they made their way towards the cantor house.
"Libby how's final issue for the trotters going for the end of term?" Jack asked
"Going great I just need to find a final piece of news to end the term with a bang". Libby replies
The pal's entered and saw Libby and jack as well as Beef and Alex talking.
"Hey guys , excited for the end of term". Pru asked
"Yep all packed up and ready to go, I am gonna miss this". Jack sighed
"Aww don't worry jack remember you can write to us and tell us all about your adventures ". Abigail smiled
Just then Priya and Sahir came in looking all flushed probably from the running.
"Woah guys are you okay what happened?" Pru asked
"Friends we would love you to meet an old competition friend of ours, We haven't seen him in ages ". Priya Exclaimed
"Okay But first breathe, you look like you've run a marathon ". Lucky pointed out
Pru put a comforting hand on Sahir's shoulder and he smiled and laughed, Abigail put another hand around Priya.
"We know it sounds silly but you must believe us". Sahir exclaimed
"We believe you , but you might want to slow down". Pru laughed
After about five minutes the group headed on their horses and went to the dressage arena to see who this friend of the twins was. They all gathered outside and watched the fabulous rider do multiple tricks, When he landed on his horse Lucky gasped at who it was, Pru and Abigail just simply smiled and watched Lucky's face turn bright red.
"Uh is Lucky ok, She seems a bit red in the face?" Jack asked
"Oh yeah she's fine". Abigail shooed
When the rider finished his routine he went out and said hello to all the others and smiled and waved.
"Friends this is Javier one of the best trick riders in the world". Priya exclaimed
"Hi." They all exclaimed
"It is most lovely to see you again Javier". Sahir smiled
"You too Amigo ". He nodded
"Hide me". Lucky exclaimed to the girls
"Nope you have to face this, you can do this lucky ". Abigail encouraged
"Fortuna?" Called Javier
Lucky smiled and slowly turned around and nervously laughed. Javier smiles and looks at her deep In the eyes.
"Hola Javier ". She waved shyly
"Wait you know him?" Alex coaxed
"Yes we met him when he was touring Miredero and doing a show at the ranch". Pru answers
"Hola Pru, Abigail nice to see you again ". Javier smiled
"What are you doing here?" Lucky had a surprised tone
"Bien, I thought that I would take a little detour and spend some time with you before you head back to Miredero for the summer". Javier smiled
Pru and Abigail put a hand to their hearts noticing how in love their best friend was.
"That's very sweet of you". She laughed shyly
Just then Maricela burst in riding mystery and smiling down on the Others, Javier was shocked.
"Bonjour all, Javi oh how wonderful it is to see you again ". Maricela smiled
"Well I am guessing you know him to?" Libby cut in
"Hola Maricela, I see your riding Estas muy bien". Javier comments
"It took her a while, You should have seen her falling off but she has improved ". Alex Laughed
"Huh well I never, at least I don't ride side saddle anymore ". Maricela snorted
"No but Seriously Who is Fortuna?" Beef changed the subject
"It's my real name it means Lucky in Spanish, but I still prefer Lucky in English it's just easier". Lucky smiled
"Oh now I get it ". Beef Realized
"Anyway I got you something ". Javier grabbed a small box from his pocket
"What's this?" Lucky asked
"Bien, I know it's your birthday in a week so I'd thought I'd surprise you Mi Amor". Javier smiled
"Gracias ". She replied
She opened the box and inside was a beautiful horse charm bracelet with a mustang that looked like Spirit she was surprised and smiled.
"It's beautiful Gracias Mi vida". Lucky thanked
"De nada". Javier smiled
"Lucky We didn't know it was your birthday soon , oh how exciting you must write to us when you leave and tell us all about your celebrations ". Sahir said
"I am sure I will don't worry ". Lucky reassures
Over the last two weeks of school, their was a massive party and bonfire at the end of the beach and their were stories being shared around. Then the dances started and all Javier could think about was dancing with Lucky , She was sitting on a log so he tapped her on the shoulder and asked her to dance and she said yes.
They took off their shoes and started dancing by the ocean, All he could do was stare into eyes they looked like stars, he proceeds to lift her up an spin her around and she laughed .
Even Mystery and Spirit started dancing and falling in love, everyone else started dancing and laughing.
"This is the best way to end the term ". Lucky laughed
"I am glad you think so Fortuna". He replied
~~~ The next day ~~~
The girls had everything packed and ready to go home they were more than excited to go home and see Miredero and all the others.
"Well looks like we got everything ready to go spirit?" Lucky asked
Spirit nodded and neighed in agreement.
"Looks like Chica linda and boomerang are ready to go too what do you say?" Pru asked
Maricela came in to double check they had everything.
"Palms I just came to double check if we have everything yes?" She asked
"Thanks Maricela and yes I think that's everything ". Abigail added
"Good a lady always has to double check she has everything ". Maricela nodded
"Well I'd say let's get to the train station before we miss the train". Lucky mentioned
~~~ 3 hours later ~~~
The girls made it home safely they ran out of the train with their bags and they let the horses free.
"Lucky ". Polly piped
"Hey sis oh I missed you so much". Lucky picked her up and hugged her
"I missed you too". She laughed
"Sweet pea". Jim yelled
"Dad!!" She exclaimed
"Oh I missed you so much". Jim smiled
"I missed you too and Kate ". She smiled
Soon enough Aunt Cora and Kate then came and hugged lucky and smiled.
"Oh I am guessing you had so many adventures ". Kate smiled
"A lot I can't wait to show you". Lucky yelled
"I can't wait to see sweetheart ". Kate replies
"But for now I need to go look for someone ". Lucky smiled
"Ok, go have fun but make sure to be back before dinner ok?" Aunt Cora called
"I will". Lucky called back
~~ 2 Minutes later ~~
Spirit and Lucky were riding under the stars and laughing .
"Oh it's good to be home right boy?" Lucky asked the horse
Spirit neighed In response, just then the two heard trotting and turned to see it was Javier and hechata Lucky smiled and laughed.
I knew I'd find you here". Javier smiled
"It's not finding me if your taking the same train as me." Lucky points out
"Good point". Javier replies
"No but really I am glad you came to surprise me and thank you for the gift I love it ". She smiled
"Anything for you ". Javier laughed
Lucky smiled and kissed him and she knew this was going to be a great summer and she has the ones she loves.
