Flashback
Little five-year-old Lucas runs to his parent's bedroom with a plan. It was the first day of Kindergarten and boy was he excited.
"MAMA WAKE UP!," Lucas screams as he cannonballs into his parents' bed, landing in the middle of Quinn and Santana.
Santana looks at her beautiful wife, shooting her a loving and a bit annoyed look. Quinn begins to laugh at Santana while hugging her boy.
"Louie, what did we say about cannonballing in the bed?"
"Only do it if Mama and Mommy are awake."
"That's right, but I'll give you a pass, okay? Now go get dressed, today is a big day sweetheart." Quinn says as she kisses the little version of Santana on the head.
And off Lucas went. They were finally alone. Quinn rolls over to the once again "sleeping" Santana and lightly kisses her in hopes of waking her up.
"Tana? I know damn well you aren't sleeping right now." she begins to laugh while lightly hitting the brunette on the shoulder.
"You got me Q. Come here! I gotta give you a lesson for waking me up when I'm trying to go back to sleep." San says as she tickles the blonde until she apologizes.
"Okay! Okay! I'm sorry babe, I won't do it again." Quinn says as she finally breaks free from Santana. Quinn then looks deep into the brunette chocolatey eyes and says, " I love you so much Tana."
"Back at ya sexy momma." Santana winks. "Come on, let's get ready babe or else he's gonna come back and tickle the both of us."
Quinn was the first to head to the bathroom as Santana begins to get dressed for her day at work. Santana loved her job. It paid well and she got to work with one of her best friends, Finn Hudson, so it was a win-win. The two had some history dating back to their time in high school, but eventually grew out of it as they both were now happily married. Santana begins to look back at her old high school days. She married the head cheerleader, her high school sweetheart, and one true love: Lucy Quinn Fabray. Santana looks back at the blonde as she's brushing her teeth and quietly mutters, "I won." The two then swap tasks and begin to look for their son.
Lucas Xavier Fabray-Lopez had the physical traits of Santana, only with Quinn's hazel eyes, but the loving personality and charisma of Quinn. Lucas had always loved to sing, especially if it was with his mommies. Lucas was extremely talented for his age, as he would often expand his love for art by drawing and dancing too.
Quinn began to make chocolate chip pancakes, as Santana started to make two coffees and a tall glass of orange juice for her boy, along with his lunch for the day. Lucas then pops out of nowhere to surprise his mommies with his new outfit and starts posing. He was wearing a pair of black pants and a light blue shirt with stripes, along with some new Jordans that San had brought him the other day.
Yep, that boy is definitely Tana's son. "You look so handsome baby!" Quinn says grinning as her boy continues to pose.
"Atta boy, now that's how you'll get all the ladies!" Santana winks. "Come sit and eat with us before we gotta leave."
The family of three finally makes their way to Lincoln Elementary School to drop off Lucas. As they got closer Lucas began to feel scared and decided he wanted to go back home.
"Now baby, I know you'll be scared. It is a new place and new people, but I promise you, you will enjoy it. You'll make so many friends!" Santana says to calm the boy. "I'll take you and your momma out for ice cream when I come back home from work and we'll all talk about your first day. How does that sound bud?"
"Okay mama." the boy says as he puffs out his chest to show that he was no longer scared now.
Quinn kisses the young boy on the head, while Santana kisses his cheek.
"Have a great day Sweetheart!" Quinn says with tears in her eyes as she sees her little boy run into the building.
The couple then drove back home as Santana and Quinn needed to leave for work and had to take separate cars. Quinn, a former Yale student who had graduated at the top of her class, worked in the most successful law firm in New York. Quinn always had the desire to help those in need, which is why she became a lawyer.
"Have a great day at work, beautiful!" Santana says to the blonde as they shared a long loving and passionate kiss to the point where the air became a problem.
"You too, love! I'll see you later tonight!" Quinn winks and bites her lip as she looks up and down the Latina before walking to her car. Santana began to turn red and Quinn knew it. Quinn always had that hold on her.
