Midna Potter The Twilight Princess

Summary: This is an alternate universe to my other stories except this time Harry is Midna from The Legend of Zelda. fem Harry, Harry is Midna, Fem Link after the first story arc and Link and Midna pairing. good Dumbledore and good Severus.

Beginning AN: I've decided to start a new story while I brainstorm ideas on how to proceed with the events of my other stories and Link will be a verbal protagonist when he appears. on with the story.

Prologue Chapter

It's Halloween of 1991 and Voldemort has attacked the Potter family at their house called Godric's Hollow due to a self-fulfilling prophecy foretelling his ultimate downfall. the moment he breaks in the house James jumps into action and challenges Voldemort to a duel after yelling "Lily it's him take Harry and run." the duel goes as expected James fights bravely but ultimately loses to Voldemort who sends a Killing curse to him with the incantation "Avada Kedavra." and once it hits he drops dead having given Lily enough time to set up a trap.

Voldemort barges into Harry's nursery room and demands "step aside so I can kill the brat and you can live." and Lily responds with "Never, I'll never let you kill my son kill me instead." and Voldemort says "Very well if you're so eager to die I'll oblige you."

and hits her with the killing curse not knowing he's entered a magical contract that states that he'll die if he harms Harry but he is too stubborn to back off so he ignores his instincts and walks up to Harry who just witnessed his mother's death but he knows on some level that he'll have time to mourn his mother later so he glares at Voldemort without fear.

Voldemort says "I can feel your power boy I would have taken you as my apprentice in everything I know had the circumstances been different."

he then says "but it is what it is and you should know that I don't take pleasure in child killing especially magical children who above all else are to be treasured so I'm sorry but I must do this." he then performs the killing curse and it hits Harry and due to Lily having set up a life giving ritual that was finalized when she got hit by the killing curse there's unexpected results.

first off Voldemort's magic kills him due to the broken magical contract but he survives due to the horcruxes he made over the years and a piece of his soul lodges itself into a lightning bolt scar that appeared on Harry's forehead due to the interaction between a life taking curse and a live giving ritual causing the house to have its roof collapse. and he leaves

second Harry is turned into a baby version of Midna the princess of the Twilight Realm which is a separate dimension to Hyrule which is located in the Bermuda Triangle.

and lastly the Goddess of magic Hecate sends the now female Harry to Hyrule due to knowing she'll be happier and safer there and will be better prepared to finish off Voldemort when the time comes.

Two men appear and notice that Lily and James are dead and Harry is nowhere in sight so they assume he's alive somewhere. these two men are Rubeus Hagrid and Sirius Black. they then go their separate ways with Hagrid going to Dumbledore to report the situation while Sirius hunts down Peter Pettigrew and corners him.

Peter tries to catch Sirius off his guard by yelling "Sirius how could you kill Lily and James." and blows up the street killing thirteen muggles but that fails and Sirius hit him with a stunner by reciting "Petrificus Totalis."

after that Bartimus Crouch Sr. and a platoon of aurors appear after seeing everything. Barty says "great job on capturing him but we need to clear you of any fault in tonight's events."

and they go to the ministry of magic where Sirius is given Veritaserum which is a powerful truth potion that with three drops on the tounge disables the ability to lie until the antidote is given. Sirius reveals that Hell would have frozen over before he could betray Lily and James due to taking the Godfather ritual with Harry so he would have either lost his magic or died if he tried. he's given the antidote and it's now Wormtail's turn and he reveals that he did betray Lily and James to Voldemort and that there's no such thing as an unwilling Death Eater because you have to want it to be a part of Voldemort's inner circle and reveals who's in said circle.

he's sentenced to live out the rest of his days at Nurmengard the prison of Grindlewald and his cohorts join him in a matter of hours but the platoon of aurors who catch the Lestrange Trio about to break into Longbottom Manor scan their wands and notice recent activity and it was an overuse of the Cruciatus Curse. they then take Bellatrix, Rodolphus and Rabastian Lestrange in and it's revealed that they had targeted a muggle family called the Grangers and tortured the parents into a coma that they'll never wake from much like they were planning to do to the Longbottom family. they join their cohorts in prison. Dumbledore is given magical guardianship of the daughter Hermione Granger due to her being a muggleborn but her grandparents were still alive so they took her in and raised her.

The Wizarding World declares Harry The Boy Who Lived and celebrate not knowing that moniker would change in ten years.

Meanwhile:

Harry has arrived in the Temple of Time of Hyrule which is in the Bermuda Triangle and three women arrive in a flash of Red, Blue and Green these are the creators of the landmass and population of Hyrule one of them is a woman that looks like a Gerudo by all appearances this is Din the Goddess of Power. next is the blue haired woman who radiates wisdom beyond measure this is Nayru the Goddess of Wisdom. and finally the green haired woman radiates unrivaled courage in the face of adversity this is Farore the Goddess of Courage and together they are known as the Golden Goddesses and creators of the Triforce which when it's in one piece can grant the wish of anyone who touches it.

Din says to her sisters "I can sense that this kid has a destiny ahead of her but we can't directly interfere with how the history of the world unfolds."
Nayru says "maybe we should send her to the Twilight Realm it has a different time flow than this one for each day here a year passes there so it should prepare her for her destiny."

Farore says "that's a great idea and I get the feeling my avatar will need her help eventually but before we do that let's purge the phylactory from her scar and give her a new name since she's originally a boy."

they grant Harry the ability to talk properly and he agrees to the help being offered so the horcrux is purged from him. and he says "thank you for doing that but before I go what's my new name?"

Din says "your new name will be Midna and you'll be the new Twilight Princess but don't worry about dying before you can fulfill your destiny your new race can live for hundreds of thousands of years and remain young for the majority of their lifespan."

Harry's magic accepts the new name and she's taken to the Gerudo Desert and taken to the Arbiter's Grounds where the Mirror of Twilight is located and she's guided through by all three of them and upon entering the Throne Room of the Palace of Twilight the current King and Queen greet Din, Nayru and Farore and are told the circumstances and they agree to adopt her by blood adoption and are added to her DNA as an extra set of parents. they then announce to their subjects that they now have a Princess to serve. all but one cheers at the news and it's none other than Zant who makes plans to usurp the throne but doesn't execute them until the year that would have been her 11th birthday in Hyrule which for him would be three thousand six hundred and fifty-two years and four months.
