Phoenix sat on Jackie's couch, a mug of cocoa gripped in her hands with a giant, white, fluffy coat three sizes too big wrapped around her shoulders. Today was one of her bad days and she struggled to keep her eyes open, trying to watch whatever program was on the television. She didn't even know what it was, but if she was watching it, then she wasn't sleeping. And sleeping was the last thing she wanted to do.

It had been a few months now since she'd last heard from the Doctor, since he'd died, since she'd seen him—though she supposed technically she had never seen him since in theory every cell in his body had entirely changed. The man he'd become had never met her. Technically.

It had also been a few months since she'd spoken to Jack, Nina, Owen or her father.

After learning of her true heritage or genetics or whatever the correct word was, her father had left and not returned. He'd sent her a large box of hot chocolate—the source of the drink in her hand—but other than that, complete silence. Though it had also been a few months since someone had tried to kill her. Which was nice. Though that was if she didn't count her own body.

After she'd gotten sick all those months ago, the last night she'd spoken to the Doctor, she'd routinely found herself feeling ill. And it progressively grew worse until good days became rare. Usually, she was freezing, nauseous, and dizzy. A terrible combination.

She didn't know what was happening and she didn't have anyone that she could ask. It wasn't like she could go to a hospital. But once she'd realized that something was truly wrong, she'd tried to contact Steve.

But the church doors had closed. There was no sign of him and no sign of Nina. No sign of anyone really. She'd even explored the building to see about using his machine, but that too had disappeared.

Well, at least it seemed that Nina had chosen to go start her own life. Phoenix did regret how harsh she'd been. And she did miss the Bloxinian, but she wanted her to be happy.

"How are you feeling, love?"

Phoenix looked up to see Jackie standing over her. The room span and she shut her eyes, forcing herself to breathe through it. It would be fine. It had to be because if Phoenix appeared too weak, then Jackie wouldn't let her go out later.

"I'm fine." Phoenix tried, opening her eyes and mustering up a smile. "I think I'm feeling much better."

"Now, don't go trying to fool me," Jackie scolded, eyes scanning the three blankets that adorned the Phoenix's lap. "It isn't good for you to try to hide things from me."

Phoenix sighed and finished the last of her cocoa, setting the cup on the coffee table.

"Fine. I'm still tired and its like zero degrees in here, I swear." She admitted, resting her chin on her knee. It was kind of Jackie to take care of her and she appreciated it, but Phoenix hated feeling like a child or as if she needed someone else's help. Regardless of the fact that she did need the help. "But I think I'll still feel well enough to go out."

"Well, we'll see." Jackie said with a sigh. "Don't know why you're so adamant anyhow. You don't even know if you'll—" She frowned and hurried over to the tree, adjusting some ornaments. "Well, never mind."

"If I'll what?" Phoenix demanded, but she couldn't muster enough energy for her ire to really land. "If I'll see them again? If they'll come back for me? The Doctor said that he would. And besides, if that's how you really feel, then why get Rose a gift at all? If she's not going to show up, why bother?"

The words felt nice for a moment. It felt good to be correct and to make her point. Good to even win in an argument, since that had been happening less and less lately. But then the regret came. She didn't want to fight with Jackie and she didn't want to hurt her in any way. And she had. She could see how much she'd hurt the woman from the shape of her shoulders—hunched inwards and tight.

"Sorry. I didn't mean that." She murmured, biting her lip and looking over at the carefully wrapped present that sat on the coffee table. "I know that they'll be back. That's why I want to go, even if I'm feeling awful."

"I just worry, sweetheart," Jackie said, coming to sit beside her and taking her hand. Phoenix leaned into the warmth of the other woman. "Oh, you're ice cold. Did the cocoa help at all?"

"I don't know." Phoenix murmured, shaking her head. "I'm not sure much does. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I felt…okay. Another reason that I think we should still go out. Who knows when I'll have a good day again? Or if I even will? I mean, what if—"

"No." Jackie shut her down, standing and walking back to the tree with Rose's gift. "No, we aren't discussing this. Don't make me say it again."

"When are we going to discuss it then?" Phoenix demanded, happy when she was able to put some power behind the words. "We need to have a plan if I—"

"Well, you won't." Jackie snapped, whipping around with a glare. "We are going to figure this out if it's the last thing I—"

She broke off as a very familiar sound drifted in through the window.

TARDIS engines.

Phoenix almost didn't dare to believe it. She'd been waiting so long.

"Rose!" Jackie exclaimed, eyes going wide.

Phoenix found herself full of more energy than she'd had in a long while, her heart as light as a feather. They'd come back for her! Grinning, she jumped off of the couch and ran to the door.

"Phoenix, wait!" Jackie called after her, but surely she couldn't be serious?

There was no way that Phoenix wasn't going to be there to meet him! Absolutely not a chance! So the brunette jogged down the stairs, gripping the railing tightly and trying to ignore the way the world spun. By the time she made it onto the street, she was breathing in spurts and gasps, her heart pounding and her lungs burning. Across the street, she saw Mickey round the corner.

"Mickey!" Phoenix called and he sprinted to her as Jackie caught up.

"What're you doing?" He demanded, steadying her as she swayed. His eyes went to Jackie. "You let her come down here?"

"I didn't get much say in the matter," Jackie retorted, wrapping an arm around Phoenix.

"There's no way I'm missing them," Phoenix snapped, searching for the blue box. It seemed like it was taking longer for the ship to materialize. Or maybe that was just Phoenix being tired?

"Rose is alive, Mickey!" Jackie exclaimed, her arm tightening around Phoenix. "I said so, didn't I? She's alive!"

"Just shut up a minute." Mickey urged, all three of them looking for the ship. It was a good thing that the street was empty at the moment because Phoenix was sure they looked absolutely insane.

"Well, where is it then?" Jackie wondered, voice worried.

"Something's wrong." Phoenix said, frowning and pulling her jacket closer around herself as she listened to the sound of the engine's. There was an unfamiliar whining sound that accompanied the usual groan.

The engines grew louder and Phoenix whirled around in time to see the ship materialize in the sky before she proceeded to crash into a block of flats. Something was wrong indeed.

"Get down!" Jackie cried, both her and Mickey pulling Phoenix to the concrete as the TARDIS flew over them.

Phoenix gasped at the cold, swallowing back the nausea that hit her. Exhaustion flooded her and she rested her head on the ground as the ship crashed into some rubbish bins and screeched to a halt around the corner.

"Here we are then!" A voice called and Phoenix froze, something inside her shifting at the sound. "London, Earth, the Solar System. We did it."

"Up you go, dear," Jackie said and Phoenix gratefully accepted the help. "Don't move. We'll go see what's happened now. You stay right here."

"No, Jackie, I—"

"I mean it! No more exerting yourself!"

And the older woman and Mickey made their way around the corner to where the TARDIS had disappeared. Leaving Phoenix standing there and only able to listen.

"Jackie. Mickey. Blimey!" The voice crowed, then it grew quite serious. "No, no, no, no, hold on. Wait there. I've got something to say. There was something I had to tell you, something important. What was it?"

Jackie couldn't seriously be leaving her behind, Phoenix thought, shivering. Her sprint and the adrenaline was catching up and she wasn't sure that she would make the ten feet or so to where she knew the Doctor stood. Not by herself. And that must be him that she heard, though it wasn't the voice she remembered from San Kloon.

She had to see him.

So, Phoenix shoved the nausea and dizziness to the side. If she went slow enough, she'd make it. So she measured her condition before she took each step, though it was agonizing. She wanted to see him but she didn't want to risk collapsing and ruin it all, either.

"No, hold on, hold on. Hold on, shush, shush, shush. No, wait. There was someone I had to see." His words drew her up short. Could he mean her? Had he forgotten her? The idea hurt. "Phoenix! Where is she? I need to…Oh! That's what I had to say! Merry Christmas!"

And then Phoenix heard a thud. Worry zipping through her, Phoenix pushed herself faster, using the wall for support. She rounded the corner as Rose hurried out of the TARDIS, eyes wide and shoulders tight.

A man wearing a familiar leather jacket and jumper lay on the ground. But it wasn't the Doctor as Phoenix remembered him. She'd known he would be different, but the sight of it still jarred her. He was taller and slimmer. His face longer, hair fuller and dark brown. It looked soft and the thought of running her fingers through it startled Phoenix. Even now, she could feel the beginnings of the burning sensation that happened between them. It felt as though she were standing next to a heater, the waves of heat drifting over her.

And though she didn't know why he was passed out on the floor, the Timelord looked peaceful. He was usually restless with nightmares, so it was nice to see him calm.

"What happened?" Rose asked, looking down at him with the most peculiar expression. "Is he all right?"

"I don't know, he just keeled over." Mickey explained, crouched beside the Doctor and checking his pulse. "But who is he? Where's the Doctor?"

"He's the Doctor," Phoenix cut in, frowning at the group and sinking to her knees at his side. Unable to help herself, she pulled his head into her lap, not even regretting it when the exertion of her muscles caused another wave of fatigue to crash over her. Her eyes nearly slipped shut, but it was worth it to simply be near him.

"She's right." Rose agreed, though the blonde was frowning at Phoenix. "That's him, right in front of you. That's the Doctor."

It sounded like she were trying to convince herself. Phoenix's fingers felt for the Doctor's pulse, a smile gracing her lips when she found the double beat, though it was weaker than she liked. More than that, she could feel the sensation of heat that flowed between them when they touched. Again, it was weaker than she liked, but it did warm her and for the first time in awhile she stopped shivering.

"What d'you mean that's the Doctor?" Jackie demanded. "Doctor who?"

"We need to get him inside," Phoenix cut in.

"We need to get both of you inside," Mickey amended, nodding at Rose. "Help me with him. Jackie, you get Phoenix."

"What's wrong with Phoenix?" Rose asked, bewildered. "Why's she need help?"

"I'm just…a little sick." Phoenix managed. Jackie opened her mouth, probably ready to scold her, but Phoenix shot a glare at the older woman. "It's just a small cold."

The blonde was still frowning, but her and Mickey hoisted the Doctor into their arms while Jackie helped Phoenix to her feet. Mickey and Rose were faster, though they were carrying more weight. Moving her legs forward took more energy than Phoenix wanted to admit, but there was no way she could move any faster.

And going back up the many flights of stairs proved even more difficult. Her heart raced so fast she truly thought it might explode. Could that happen? She hoped not. With every step, Phoenix worried she might throw up, her stomach spasming. Luckily, she hadn't eaten enough to have anything to throw up. Well, except for the hot chocolate.

"Why'd you lie to her?" Jackie finally asked when they paused for Phoenix to catch her breath. "She deserves to know. They both do."

"Tomorrow's Christmas, Jackie." Phoenix answered, shaking her head. "It might not mean anything to me, but it means something to her. She's always loved celebrating the holiday and I'm not going to take that away. I'll tell them after."

"And if you pass out again? What am I supposed to say?" Jackie demanded, hands on her hips. "When you're so cold that your lips turn blue? Too weak to stand up? What then? That's more than just a cold."

"Let me worry about it, then. Just don't say anything."

"Sweetheart, you only have two heartbeats right now." Jackie reminded her and Phoenix bit her lip. "I'm just worried."

When she'd first gotten sick, really sick, Jackie had acquired a stethoscope from somewhere she wouldn't disclose and it turned out that the brunette had three heartbeats. Phoenix had a theory that the trisected organ was probably her hearts growing, though it probably only needed to grow the two and then connect to the one she already had. She was hoping the Doctor would have a better explanation for her that was more conclusive. As of now, Phoenix didn't have any way of confirming her theory since an X-ray machine was too complicated to get a hold of, and the brunette couldn't exactly go to a hospital. Though Jackie had tried numerous times to convince her despite the obstacles.

"I know you're worried, Jackie," Phoenix murmured, pulling the older woman into a hug. "But please just do this for me. Just don't tell them yet. And besides, we need to figure out what's wrong with the Doctor. They don't need the added stress."

"Fine. I won't say anything, but just know that I don't approve, young lady." Jackie relented, frowning. "And you will be telling them."

"I will," Phoenix reassured, continuing up the stairs as her heart fell. It wasn't a conversation she'd enjoyed having with Mickey, let alone her best friend and the man that she loved.

When they finally made it into Jackie's flat, Phoenix settled herself down on the couch, curling up around one of the many cushions. Rose was doing something in the kitchen and she could hear Mickey in the room she'd been using. Likely, he was tucking the Doctor into bed, though Phoenix didn't know why that involved so much cursing. Jackie made sure Phoenix was settled on the couch before she disappeared back towards her own room.

Phoenix sighed, playing with the sleeves of her jacket and biting her lip. She hated worrying Jackie, but she didn't want to make things worse. Especially when she still didn't truly know what was wrong with her, just that something was. After a couple of minutes, Rose sat beside her on the couch, leaning forward and putting her head in her hands.

"How'd you know it was him?" She asked after a moment of silence. "The Doctor? His face is…He's completely different. How d'ya know it was him?"

"I knew that he could change," Phoenix said slowly, biting the pad of her thumb and appraising the blonde for her reaction. Phoenix couldn't tell how Rose was doing emotionally. It might be that she was still processing. "Do you remember San Kloon?"

"Yeah."

"Do you remember my friend? The one we met that day?" Phoenix prompted. Rose nodded. "That was the Doctor. He explained the whole thing to me after I figured out who he was."

"And how d'you do that? How d'you know?" Rose pushed, eyes narrowing on her. "And why didn't ya tell me?"

"He asked me not to. I'm assuming it had to do with the timeline." Phoenix leaned back against the couch as a wave of exhaustion crashed over her. "Like, it literally wasn't for him to tell you because from his perspective you already knew and you didn't learn it from him so he couldn't be the one to tell you. As for how I knew…well, two hearts. I felt his two heartbeats."

"But you knew it was him before you even got near him today. How? And don't say it was his clothes! When I saw him change, I thought that he'd been replaced by somethin'." Rose's eyes fell and Phoenix bit her lip. "How d'you know?"

"Fine. I could sense it. The two hearts confirmed it." Phoenix pulled her jacket closer. "I realized it on San Kloon, but it's happened a few times since. I don't know, it's like this connection between us. When I touch him, it's like—a molten energy is flowing between us. And I can feel it when he's near. It's like standing next to a fire. But I didn't know I could do that until today."

"Is that an umaru thing or…? That's what you're called, right?" Rose wondered, frowning.

"Yeah, it's what we're called. And honestly, I have no idea. I don't even know if the Doctor can feel it or not." Phoenix rested her head on her hand. Rose seemed on the brink of tears and Phoenix wasn't sure what she should do if the girl did cry. Her strength had dwindled down to nothing and she didn't know if she had it in herself to comfort the blonde at the moment.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Rose asked, turning to meet her eyes. "I thought we'd gotten closer than that. That we were friends again."

"We are," Phoenix reassured, worry spiking in her gut. She really hoped that Rose and her weren't about to take ten steps back over this. "I am your friend, Rose. It's just…it didn't seem like a secret for me to share. Speaking as someone who is literally changing everything about themselves, I know I wouldn't want you to have told my father or Jackie or Mickey or anyone. It was for me to share and I had to give the Doctor that right too. It wouldn't have been fair or right for me to tell you."

"Yeah, suppose you're right," Rose acquiesced, though Phoenix couldn't tell if the blonde actually felt that way or just didn't want to fight. They sat in silence for another moment before Rose's eyes widened. "Two hearts."

"What?"

"The Doctor has two hearts!" Rose jumped to her feet and made her way towards the back room. "Mickey, are you finished getting him dressed yet?!"

"Getting him dressed?" Phoenix wondered, pushing herself to her feet with great effort. She had to take a few deep breaths before she followed after Rose.

"Yeah, he's good," Mickey said, poking his head out.

"Mum, that's perfect. Exactly what I need," Rose said, taking the stethoscope from Jackie and one glance at the older Tyler told Phoenix she hadn't grabbed it for the Doctor.

Phoenix shot her a glare before making her way into the spare room. Some of her clothes were still scattered around the room, though the ones that she'd left on the bed were draped over a chair. The Doctor lay in place of her clothes in the center of the bed, dressed in an old pair of her father's pajama's. Phoenix lowered herself down to sit on the far side of the Doctor, wanting to take his hand, but hesitant to do so.

She still didn't know much about how regeneration worked and the Doctor she'd met on San Kloon had been so different from the one she'd known. It was possible that this one might hate for her to touch him. And she was a little afraid that he'd be able to sense that something was wrong with her. He needed to focus on getting better before he needed to worry about her not being well.

Jackie followed them in. "Tina the cleaner's got this lodger, a medical student, and she was fast asleep, so I just took it."

"Jackie!" Phoenix scolded, eyes wide as she looked at the older woman.

"Well, I didn't have a lot of options!" Jackie snapped, throwing her hands up. "This is why I didn't tell you. You would've made me put it back even though we need it to make sure that you're—"

"Whatever, Jackie," Phoenix interrupted, not missing the look Mickey shot her or the confusion on Rose's face. "Let's just take care of him."

"I still say we should take him to hospital," Jackie grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.

"We can't! They'd lock him up!" Rose snapped back, shaking her head. "They'd dissect him. One bottle of his blood could change the future of the human race!"

"As I've already explained to you," Phoenix reminded, leaning against the headboard and trying to keep her eyes open. She needed to rest, but she really, really didn't want to.

Rose shook her head at the woman before putting the earpieces in her ears and gently setting the chest-piece over one of the Doctor's hearts. She listened for a moment before moving it over to the right. Another moment and she released a sigh of relief.

"Both working," She said, folding the stethoscope up and setting it on the nightstand table.

"What d'you mean both?" Jackie asked, head whipping around to appraise her daughter.

"Well, he's got two hearts," Rose explained, her tone saying it should be obvious. Phoenix normally would have scolded her for that, but found she didn't have the energy.

Jackie's gaze shot to Phoenix, dropping down to where Phoenix's own heart beat. Likely, she was remembering Phoenix had more than the one heart, in theory. When Jackie's face grew perturbed, Phoenix frowned. She would've thought the realization would reassure instead of worry.

"Anything else he's got two of?" The woman asked out of nowhere, just as Rose was leaving the room.

"Leave him alone," The blonde shot back as she hurried out.

Jackie followed suit and then it was just Phoenix, the Doctor, and Mickey. The other boy stood leaning against the doorway, eyes on the brunette.

"How are you doing?" He asked and Phoenix sighed, letting her eyes slip shut.

"I'm fine," She said, two words she'd said more in the last few months than she had in her entire life. "You should go be with Rose. It's been a bit since you saw her."

"D'you want me to get you anything? Or help you get somewhere?"

"No, Mickey," Phoenix said, curling her legs closer to her as she shivered. "Just give me a few minutes, please."

She cracked her eyes open to make sure he did as she asked and watched as he offered a small smile before heading after Rose and Jackie. The brunette felt a little bit bad for being so dismissive, but they were beginning to smother her and it was getting stressful. Right now, she just wanted to make sure everyone was okay, and it would be nice to not have to be on full energy mode. Because she was out of energy.

Phoenix was about to shut her eyes when the Doctor's breath caught. The brunette sat up, hands hovering over the Timelord when his mouth opened and a stream of golden energy slipped out from between his lips. The tendrils floated in the air for a moment before zipping around her and then departing out the window.

What was that stuff? She wondered, frowning over at the window and settling back. It almost looked like what had entered Rose when they opened the TARDIS, but it was a deeper gold. And the TARDIS wasn't anywhere near them. Strange.

"How can he go changing his face?" She heard Jackie say from the kitchen, pulling her attention away from the window. "Is that a different face or is he a different person?"

"How should I know?!" Rose snapped back and Phoenix frowned, slipping off of the bed and making her way to the doorway to listen closer. "Sorry. The thing is I thought I knew him, Mum. And Phoenix says that it's him, that it's normal, but I don't know. I thought I was important to him. And then he goes and does this. I keep forgetting he's not human."

"It'll be alright, sweetheart," Jackie said and Phoenix smiled to hear the love she had for her daughter. It was something she missed, something she'd been trying not to think about the past few days. "Phoenix knows what she's talking about most of the time. Honestly, it's scary sometimes how often she's right."

"Yeah." Rose chuckled and Phoenix turned to return to the Doctor's side, but froze at the blonde's next words. "What's happened? Why is she…sick?"

Phoenix waited with baited breath for what Jackie might say. The older Tyler had promised that she wouldn't tell Rose, but saying she wouldn't and then being faced with the decision were two different things. But Phoenix couldn't deny she would be hurt if jackie told her daughter.

Finally, Jackie spoke.

"Well, after you left in the TARDIS and left her behind, she waited for ya. Every day and every night. For the first couple of weeks, I could barely convince her to eat or shower." Jackie said and Phoenix sighed, biting her lip. "Then I finally got her to start using the spare room and sleeping there since it's so close to where you disappeared the last time. But she still spent more time than not out there and the weather's only gotten colder. So it was bound to happen."

"Seriously? Is that the story you're going with?" Rose asked and Phoenix could hear the irritation in her voice. "Did she tell you not to tell me? I can tell that it's something worse than a cold, Mum. I mean, she looks like skin and bones! And when was the last time she slept? Just tell me!"

Phoenix shook her head and made her way into the kitchen, drawing both of the women's eyes to her. Jackie stared at her with apology and Rose just looked expectant. Mickey came and joined them from the living room.

"She's gonna find out anyway," he told her gently and Phoenix had the urge to cry. He wasn't wrong, but she wasn't ready for Rose to know. If Rose knew, then that meant Phoenix would have to tell the Doctor soon and if he couldn't do anything to help, then whatever they had between them might be over sooner then they expected.

"No," Phoenix said, shaking her head and crossing her arms over her chest. "You don't need to know, Rose. At least, not yet."

"Phoenix, if somethin's wrong, I deserve to know," Rose protested, frowning at her. "You're my best friend."

"Just…just go out and be human for a night," Phoenix urged, ignoring her friend's words. "Go hang out with Mickey and forget about all of this, at least for a night. And have fun. Here." She went over to the counter, pulled out her cookie jar, and opened it to reveal the money she'd saved. The brunette pulled it all out and put it in the blonde's hand. "You haven't gotten a chance to get any presents yet or do anything Christmasy. And it's your favorite holiday. It's supposed to be about fun and happiness and spending time with your family. So go do that and forget about me."

"Hey, I'm not gonna go out and pretend everything's fine, when it clearly isn't," Rose said, brows furrowing as she set the money down on the counter. "What's wrong with you?"

"I don't even know if anything is wrong, Rose," Phoenix tried. Jackie scoffed and Mickey rolled his eyes. "Really. For all we know, it's part of the transition. I mean, the Doctor regenerating must have seemed painful, right? It isn't an easy thing to change every cell in one's body and yes, I don't think my transition is that extreme, but it's similar."

"Yeah, but the Doctor's was instant," Rose said, taking her hands in her own. "And d'you really believe that this is what your transition looks like? I thought you were already changin'? And that left you with mood swings and bouts of energy, not…this. Phoenix, you look like you're dyin'."

And those were the words that Phoenix had been avoiding. Dying. If she were being honest with herself, she didn't think her sickness and weakness was because of her metamorphosis. The Doctor would have told her to expect something like this, because it was absolutely terrifying. She knew something was wrong and she'd just been telling herself stories so she would feel better. But in all reality, when she was laying in her bed at night, the thought had crossed her mind.

She might be dying. Her heartbeat was changing, weakening, decreasing. She couldn't keep down any food for long periods of time and she'd lost weight. Her hair was dry and she was sleeping far too often. None of them were good signs.

"Yeah, well. It's not like you can do anything about it," Phoenix snapped, recoiling away. "You took too long and left me here, so I don't have to explain anything to you." She again grabbed the money and shoved it into the blonde's hand. "If you want to help me, go out and have fun. You shouldn't be left here worrying about me on Christmas. And Jackie wasn't going to let me go anyways, so at least the money will go to good use."

And she hurried into her room, shut the door and sank to the ground. She pulled her knees to her chest and buried her head in her arms, trying not to cry. The last thing she needed was to disturb the Doctor. He might actually have a chance.

Her eyes sought him out without her consciously deciding to do so. He still looked peaceful, lying there. More than that, he looked warm. And safe. And more than anything, she just wanted to be next to him. So she pulled herself off of the floor and lay down on the covers next to him, cautiously resting her head on the pillow next to him. Her fingers interlaced with his and she let the exhaustion pull her eyes shut. And the heat from his body and their interlocked hands slowly lulled her to sleep.

So I'm not dead! Sorry that this has taken so much longer than planned to post. I have a few more chapters written but I need to edit and I want to finish writing out this episode before I post too many chapters-I'm going to try really hard to be more consistent but I also really want to make sure the quality is the level you guys deserve. And a little more explanation.

My life kind of exploded after I posted that last chapter and this website has been a little frustrating for absolutely no reason. And I've been writing my own original novel so that's taken up a bit of time too. But I promise that I will not be abandoning this story because I absolutely love the way it's been turning out.

That said, I am going to start editing the chapters of the first book-I won't change any of the big things, most likely-but it's something I kind of forgot to do when I first started the story and now that I've been writing for a few years and working towards my own novel, I figured it would be a good way to practice editing and improve my writing. Also, I think I will be filming the editing sessions so if anyone would be interested in watching those, let me know and I will post a link once I've filmed them and such.

Anyways, thank you to everyone who has stuck by me and read my story and left reviews! I will respond to the ones from the last chapter of the first book now!

atrhoads05: Thank you so much! I'm glad that you liked it and I am also excited to explore the dynamics with her and 10! As for the 60th special, I know I watched the trailer, but I have forgotten about the theories! Looking forward to it though!

mxn1fan: Of course not ;) And you're welcome!

GUESTWHO: Thank you so much! And yes, still planning to write the sequel and such-as you can see if you've found your way here! I really appreciate your kind words!

MystiYew: Oh, thank you so much! That means a lot and I'm really glad that you liked it!

MystiYew: So sorry about the delay in posting. And I'm mostly okay. There's been a lot going on but thank you for reaching out! It means a lot. :)

And there are the reviews! Now, as I said I want to try to be more consistent, but please forgive me if it takes a bit. And just know that it's either because my life exploded again, I'm working on my original novel, or I'm trying to make the chapter the best it can be for you guys. I promise that I will never just abandon this story or all of your readers without forewarning. After all of the support and love you've shown me and this story, that would be entirely awful of me.

But let me know if you'd be interested in seeing me edit chapters that have already been published-also I won't be taking down the previous ones, but will probably separate them into a completely separate book just in case things do change for whatever reason. Like maybe I did something stupid without realizing it, but I don't think I did. But I don't want to make things confusing between the two books. Also why I delayed in posting this chapter and the next ones-I wanted to make sure there won't be giant plot holes when I start editing old chapters.

Thank you everyone! Love you tons! Neo Mulder :)
