Lily moaned in pain in her leg from being tossed in the car but she pulled her nephew close and tried to ease his worries.

"It will be ok Alex just you watch Ardeth and Rick will come for us," with that said Alex just nodded at his aunt.

Alex and Lily were yanked onto the train and the first people they came upon were the curator and a woman.

"Hey the book of the dead!,"

"What a bright little child, your mother must be missing you terribly. If you wish to see her again you better behave,"

"Lady he doesn't behave for his parent's or me what makes you think he will for you?," Lily piped up causing the woman's eyes to widen in shock before replying.

"Cause his parent's wouldn't slip poisonous snakes into his bed while he was sleeping," now that got Lily and Alex's attention.

"Lord Imhotep wishes to meet the boy, take the woman with you as well,"

"Now we will see just how brave you really are," Lock-nah laughed as he drug Lily and Alex into the next compartment of the train.

As they entered it Lily collapsed to the floor her wounded leg giving out.

"Aunt Lily!," Alex said quickly dropping down beside her in worry.

"i will be ok Alex no worries I won't leave you," suddenly the black cloaked figured they had seen as they entered the room turned to face them.

Lily noticed he faltered as his laid eyes on her though she was unsure why.

"Isis?," Imhotep whispered in a breathless gasp shocked the see the woman he considered his best friend in the past life reincarnated.

Stepping towards Alex Imhotep focused on him.

"I know you can understand me little one,so you must listen carefully because it is you who are the chosen one, you who will take me to Ahm Shere,"

"What if I don't? What if I get a little...lost?,"

"You have strength little one," Imhotep said laughing as he spoke to Alex, "you are your father's son, but I know something you don't. This bracelet is a gift and a curse the sands of time have already begun to pour against you,"

"Yea, yea I already heard this part from the minute I put the bracelet on, seven days do I have before the Scorpion King wakes up,"

"Did you also hear that if you do not enter the pyramid before the sun strikes it that very morning that the bracelet will suck the life out of you,"

"That part I missed," Alex said as Lily gasped beside him in fear for her nephew.

"Hey wait a minute that means I only have five days left,"

"That would be a good reason to not get lost, don't you?,"

"My dad is going to kick your ass," Alex said as Lily giggled at her nephew's so true threat.

After their meeting with Imhotep, Lily and Alex were put in a cabin with Lock-nah. Alex sat at the table annoying Lock-nah as Lily laid on the couch in the cabin resting her injured leg.

Lock-nah growled in frustration as he grudgingly took Alex to the bathroom not knowing what was occurring in the cabin. Imhotep had avoided Ank-su-namun and entered the cabin.

"Isis," as Imhotep said the name Lily sat up too quickly hurting her leg again.

"What do you want?,"

"To give you a gift, a token of how sorry I am that I never knew Anuk was the one to murder you in our time,"

"Oh, well um thank you I guess," Lily said surprised that the same murderous mummy from before had a soft side for the girl she use to be.

"When I retrieve her memories i will make sure you retrieve yours as well, know this I always loved you as my best friend and I always will," Imhotep said as he bestowed his gift healing Lily's wounds.

Lily sat stunned seeing her leg heal her pain dissipating, as well as the wound to her arm.

"Thank you,"

"Your welcome I will see you soon," as Imhotep said that he disappeared in a burst of sand going back to his room.

Lily sat wondering what was taking her nephew so long when she heard the train bell and it come to a screeching halt.

Running to the train side doors she was met there by Imhotep and Ank-su-namun. Surprising they had arrived at Kharak.

"Alex!," Lily yelled as she saw her nephew dodging bullets.

Giving Imhotep a quick glance Lily jumped out of the train and began running after her nephew. Suddenly she was startled as the two men who had been shooting at them hit the pillars in front of her and she knew Imhotep had done it for her.

Getting inside she noticed Alex just putting his arm down before grabbing his shirt and pulling him into her arms.

"Don't you ever do that again," Lily barked out as she wept in tears of joy that he wasn't hurt.

"I'm sorry aunt Lily,"

"I forgive you," as Lily said that Imhotep joined them in the temple and using his powers lifted Alex up to his eye level.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk," he said to Alex as he moved his finger back and forth in front of Alex's face.

Lily giggled as Imhotep scolded Alex which brought a smirk to Imhotep's face. He was honored he made her smile.

Lily was torn though her she was in love with Ardeth but was liking Imhotep too. He did say there best friends in the past life maybe, just maybe that's all she felt for him. She hoped it was.
