That evening Lily sat leaning against a pillar chain free settling in for the night when a strange mist began to surround her. Suddenly she was seeing the past.

Two women began to fight in the center of the room as Imhotep and Isis stood by the pharaohs throne. Isis was surprised to see Evy was one of the women. She saw them take their best swings at each other but barely focused on the fight instead her eyes drifted to Imhotep, her best friend, and then down to the Medjai at the feet of the throne. Isis was stunned when she saw it was Ardeth and felt the love for him she knew she felt for present day Ardeth as well.

"You are learning quickly Nefertiti," Isis heard Anuk-so-nomon tell past Evy, "I'll have to watch my back,"

"Yes...and I'll watch mine,"

"Bravo! Bravo!, Who better to protect the bracelet of Anubis than my lovely daughter Nefertiti. And who better to protect me then Ank-su-namun. Well done daughter," the pharaoh said to his daughter after he made his speech.

Isis noticed Imhotep step down off the throne so she quickly followed, mainly she had no choice he had grabbed her wrist and pulled her down a step as a signal to come with him.

As they made their way past Anuk-so-nomon she noticed the look that Imhotep and she shared and knew nothing good would come from him loving her. She wished she could warn him but if she knew she couldn't change anything in this vision. But she was unaware Imhotep could also see this vision with them and saw the look Isis made behind his back about the situation.

Suddenly the vision shifted to her and Nefertiti standing on a balcony. Isis was sadly looking across and Nefertiti knew she was upset about things when she noticed who she was looking at.

"If you had a choice of who to love?,"

"Imhotep," Isis replied then said, "but I love Ardeth as well and he now holds my heart for eternity he is my one,"

"So is your choice," Nefertiti said giving Isis a one arm sided hug.

They stood in silence after that watching as Ank-su-namun joined Imhotep upon her balcony. Then the fatal kiss before they heard Pharaoh Seti's voice calling for Ank-su-namun.

Isis watched in horror beside her friend as Ank-su-namun and Imhotep murdered pharaoh Seti, and knew Imhotep had just condemned himself to death as did Ank-su-namun.

Nefertiti called down to the warriors below for aid as they saw Seti die.

"Medjai! My father needs you," which sent all the Medjai running up the stairs Ardeth at the lead.

Suddenly Nefertiti fell forward and Isis grabbed her pulling her back to save her from death as well knowing Egypt needed a leader.

The vision ended and Lily sat stunned at what she learned about her past but sadly she heard from around the corner Imhotep and Ank-su-namun reunite in her reincarnated body. But also was Isis in Lily's body she could remember everything and held no hatred for Imhotep, disappointment yes, but she still loved him as her best friend.

Lily pulled her knees up under her chin and rested her head on them as she watched her nephew's interaction with Lock-nah.

"Don't even think about it," Lock-nah growled as he came stalking forward holding a pitcher in his hands.

"Hold on there partner,"

"When the time comes i shall truly enjoy killing you,"

"But until that time you better be a little nicer to me, now where's my water," as Alex said that Lily laughed as Lock-nah shoved it at him and stomped off.

"What no ice?,"

"Alex why do you enjoy tormenting him for,"

"Cause it's fun,"

"Just like your dad," Lily smiled as she thought of Rick and her beloved Ardeth.

"What are you doing?,"

"Shh leaving a breadcrumb,"

"Smart like I would do, leave the words I'm ok Ardeth underneath for me,"

"Will do," Alex said working on it.

At each location Lily watched Alex's back as he made the places they were going to, and made sure he left Ardeth's name underneath for her.

Travelling by camel all day was tiring and painful but Lily grinned and bared it especially with Ank-su-namun watching her, glaring at her with hateful eyes.

She knew she wouldn't survive this, and Imhotep wouldn't be able to save her again. Ank-su-namun would kill her again just like Imhotep said she did before. She was scared though she didn't want to die, she didn't want to leave Ardeth behind.

Imhotep called for a halt by the edge of the Nile and Lily was glad to be off the god forsaken camel. She could tell Imhotep was trying not to laugh at her as she jumped down off the camel's back and stretched to try and work the kinks out of her body.

Imhotep stood in the water at the edge of the blue Nile and Lily had a bad feeling about what was going to happen. Suddenly Lock-nah caught us, and grabbed Alex before Lily could.

"Hey put him down, right now!," Lily yelled at him.

"Lock-nah," came Imhotep's voice from the water, "put the boy down," as he was ordered Lily quickly grabbed Alex pulling him close.

"I hope your family enjoyed their journey,"

"Imhotep no," Lily said knowing he was about to hurt their family and Ardeth.

Imhotep didn't listen to Lily's pleading though not this time he couldn't look weak in front of the men.

Suddenly a tidal wave of water formed up in front of Imhotep, and controlling it sent it cascading down the river bend towards where their family was.

Lily covered her mouth with her hand in silent horror, tears in her eyes praying they wouldn't be killed. Ank-su-namun took great joy at seeing her agony she always hated Isis...Lily whatever her name was now.

Imhotep could hear his friend's pain behind him but he couldn't stop he loved her, was proud in a way that she cared about him even despite the Ank-su-namun situation in their past.

Lily fell to her knees holding onto Alex as she waited for any sign they lived. But she knew she would only know if they made it to the temple and saw them there.

After Imhotep finished with the water he made his way towards Lily and Alex. Ruffling Alex's hair he cast a 'I'm sorry' look towards Lily who turned ignoring him as she cried. Alex gave him a angry glare as he bent down and wrapped his tiny arms around Lily's neck knowing his aunt needed the comfort.
