The Legend of The Dovahkiin: The Stick of Truth

Chapter 1: Welcome to South Park

In the rural town, an empty house had just been bought an English husband and wife, Chris & Kelly. They were acting nervous as they bought the last of boxes into their house. As Chris laid down the last of the boxes and closed the door, he visibly relaxed. "Well, I think that's everything."

Kelly smiled and stated, "We did it. We're really moved in!" She embraces her husband.

"It's a new beginning for us. Things are finally going to be good!" Chris said with conviction. Kelly eyes darted upwards towards upstairs.

"Do you really think it will be better... for her?" She said worried for her daughter. Chris also glanced up the stairs.

"They won't look for her here." He said, "I made sure to find the most rural town I could. All we need to do is make sure she doesn't attract any attention. Come on, let's see how she's doing." Both parents walk up to their daughter's door. Kelly knocked on the door.

Kelly called out, "Sweetie?" The couple looked at each other for a while after receiving no response.

Chris opened the door with, "Hey champ." Inside the room, their incredible adorable daughter staring blankly at the wall not blinking. "How do you like your new room?" Their daughter turned her attention to them. Her big round blue eyes pieced right into them. Chris gave a nervous chuckle. "I know it's a big change for all of us moving to this quiet little mountain town but It's a fresh start for us all." Silence from their daughter continued. Not that they expected her to speak since she had spoken at all in years.

Kelly said, "Sweetie, we want you to have lots of fun here. Why don't you go out and make some friends?"

Chris agreed, "Yeah get outside and play. Like, like normal kids. Champ"

"We left some money for you on the kitchen counter, sweetie. Just, be back before it gets dark." Then both left their daughter's room. She sighed silently and got herself ready. She didn't want to get to know anyone as they would more likely end up moving somewhere else soon enough so did not want to bother in interacting with someone she would never see again.

Once she had the small amount of money, Chris encouraged, "Now get out there and make some friends champ." She was practically dumped outside. She sat on the step. She sat there a while staring unblinking at nothing.

She got started by a boy stating friendly, "Hello." She fell off the step right into the snow and gave a very girlish gasp of surprise. "Oh, I am so sorry." The voice said apological. The blonde boy helped her up. He looked warm and very friendly to her. "My name is Butters the Merciful. I'm a paladin. I live right next door to you. We should be friends." She was dumbstruck by his genuine friendly nature and the lack of understanding that he was playing a game thus was why he was dressed like a makeshift paladin. Butters on the hand was partly confused as Cartman had told him to get The New Kid but he didn't say she was a girl. However, he looked at the girl staring at him and thought to himself that it didn't matter if The New Kid was indeed a girl. Something about her made him want to protect her and to be her friend. "And you are?" He asked. When she did not answer he assumed she was mute. "You don't talk much, do you? That's ok. I can talk enough for both of us." Butters was happy at making a new friend especially one that wasn't like most of his other friends. He rambled, "Now that we're friends, we should speak with the Wizard King." He moved to head towards Cartman's house but stopped when he noticed she wasn't following. He grabbed her hand and moved towards Cartman's house without her resisting. "The Wizard has been talking about your arrival." He said referring to Cartman somehow knowing about the new family moving in. He didn't question how he had found out, but he was clearly wrong about a few things.

Before they could make a move towards Cartman's house, three kids dressed as Drow Elves appeared. Their leader stated, "Hello human scum." He and his friend got into fighting stances and completely ignoring The New Kid. Butters prepared himself for battle to defend his new friend.

"You shall all die by my warhammer, Drow Elves." He cried as he easily dealt with 2 of the elves. His desire to protect boosting his power. The Drow Elf leader however was stronger than his peers and manged to overpower Butters after drinking a potion.

"With your defeat, the elves are closer then ever to claiming the Stick of Truth." He boosted. Butters cried in pain as The Drow Elf leader was a bit too aggressive with his hits. Before Butters could be finished off, The New Kid jumped on his back unable to take watching the nice kid get beaten up. She was no match for The Drow Elf leader as he easily threw her off. Butters took the chance to make his move and promptly defeating the elf having gained a wave of strength at seeing The New Kid hit the ground.

He said super serious, "Don't hurt my friend." The Elves was a bit intimidated by this as Butters was normally known as being rather pathetic.

The Drow Elf leader cried as he and his friends fled, "The king will hear of this." But Butters wasn't listening as he was concerned over The New Kid. He rushed over.

"You alright?" He asked with genuine concern. The New Kid only smiled at him signally she was fine. "Thanks for your help." He did make sure to check her over visually but did not see anything to be out of place.

They quickly past his house before his parents could notice and made their way to the one next to it. This Cartman's House. Butters knocks on the door. The door is opened by the Grand Wizard himself, Cartman. "All hail the Grand Wizard!" He greeted not that Cartman noticed or cared. Cartman did not even notice him. Instead, his eyes were on The New Kid. Despite this he was obvious to the fact that she was a girl. Butters went to speak up about it but decided not too as he did not want to deal with Cartman's probable extreme reaction. Nor did he want to subject The New Kid to the worst side of Cartman so soon.

Cartman said suspiciously friendly, "So you are The New Kid?" The New Kid nodded. Butters was concerned as Cartman wasn't known to be nice.

Butters supplied nearly stumbling over his words, "She…. I mean his mute." Cartman ignored Butters slip up as he wasn't really listening to him. Cartman said The New Kids muteness as a benefit since he wouldn't be able to talk back to Cartman.

"Your coming was foretold. I am the Wizard King. But the time for talk is not right. Come let me show you, my kingdom." He said intermediately pulling the New Kid instead. The New Kid let him as she didn't really care plus it was technically playing with the neighbours so her parents would be off her back. Butters awkwardly followed. Cartman, Butters and the New Kid pass through the living room.

Liane, Cartman's mom who was sitting on the sofa said rather sweet tone, "Oh, who's your new friend, Eric?"

Cartman automatically said, "Shut up mom" and left the room without looking at her. The New Kid waved in greeting and ran up to catch up with Cartman.

Butters decided to tell Liane, "That's the new neighbour's kid and they are mute." Before he to ran to catch up with Cartman.

Cartman was saying to The New Kid, "Welcome to the Kingdom of Kupa Keep!" While gesturing to his garden and the stuff it contained.
