Opening his eyes, Connor looked around in the Zen Garden before he walked to where Amanda was watering her red roses.

Amanda: Trusted

"Hello, Amanda." Connor greeted, Amanda smiling slightly as she turned to him.

"Connor… it's good to see you." Amanda responded before she set the spray bottle down and stood back up to her full height. "Finding that deviant was far from easy… you showed great skill in your investigation. But you know deviants could be unstable."

"I know. I shouldn't have stressed it out… now I don't know if CyberLife will be able to learn anything from it." Connor replied.

"We've asked the DPD to transfer it to us for further study anyway. I'm sure we'll figure out what exactly caused the deviancy… in the meantime, CyberLife has decided that the DPD needs more help and you need someone to help you with this investigation." Amanda explained.

Connor turned confused as another android with similar features to him walked over to them… but the second android was a few inches taller and had silver eyes.

"Hello, RK800. I was initially intended to be activated in case you were unable to solve this case but CyberLife has insisted that I help out now." The RK900 explained, Connor turning to Amanda.

Before the… unfortunate self destruction, what did you think of the deviant?" Amanda responded, changing the subject.

"It showed signs of PTSD after being abused by its owner, as if its original program had been completely replaced by new instructions." Connor replied.

Amanda v

"This… Lieutenant Anderson and his niece have been officially assigned to the deviancy case. What do you make of them?" Amanda replied.

"I would define him as dysfunctional. He obviously has a personal situation impacting his professional behavior and... seems to have no interest in the investigation. His niece is determined to solve this investigation but she was rather shaken by the unfortunate self destruction." Connor explained, the RK900 remaining quiet as he took all of the information in.

"Unfortunately, we have no choice but to work with them…" Amanda responded, briefly stopping to pick up the spray bottle. "What do you two think is the best approach?" She asked.

The androids looked at each other and then at Amanda.

"We will adapt to their personalities. It is in the best interest of the investigation that we avoid conflict and try to accommodate their respective psychologies." RK900 explained, Amanda nodding.

"More and more androids show signs of deviancy. There are millions in circulation. If they become unstable, the consequences will be disastrous. You two are the most advanced prototypes CyberLife has ever created. If anyone can figure out what's happening, it's you." Amanda responded.

"You can count on us, Amanda." Connor replied.

In Detroit as the sun started to flutter through the navy curtains, Leah opened her eyes and lightly rubbed them to try to get rid of the last bit of sleep as she noticed the scent of coffee brewing and bacon cooking before she sat up and stretched.

Leah pulled the patch off of her right wrist, folded it and discarded it into the mini trash can by her bed before she moved her legs to the right side and placed her feet on the floor before she stood up and exited her room.

Hank turned around and smiled as Leah walked into the kitchen.

"Mornin, sleepyhead. Coffee's almost done, I'm going to finish frying up the bacon. You need to eat something other than avocado and toast." Hank responded.

"Don't knock it til you try it." Leah replied before she petted Sumo. "No, Sumo, no human food." She responded as the dog barked.

Leah washed and dried her hands before she rinsed out her Autumn Leaves & Pumpkin Lattes Please cup and poured some of the Starbucks Fall Blend coffee into the cup and put the pot back where the machine was… she poured some Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Almondmilk & Oatmilk non dairy creamer into it and closed the bottle before she put it back in the fridge.

Once the coffee was to her liking, Leah sat down and slowly drank it before Hank put a plate of scrambled eggs and bacon in front of her.

Leah thanked him and ate as Hank's phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hey, Ben, how's it going?" Hank asked.

"Two more cases just came in. An AX400 attacked its owner and ran off and an RK200 attacked its owner's son. The cops who were dispatched to the Manfred residence won't explain what happened to the RK200."

Leah's eyes went wide as she was coughing and choking, Hank lightly patting her on her back until she stopped and took deep lungfuls of air in.

"Did they kill Markus?!" Leah responded in a panic as she stood up, Hank putting Ben on speaker.

"I don't know, kiddo. I've had no luck getting them to talk. We need to focus on the AX400 though, Fowler has Gavin and Tina dealing with the assault."

"Go get ready for the day, Leah." Hank replied, Leah going into her room and Hank turning back to the phone call. "I'm not sure it's a good idea to send Gavin to the hospital to take Leo's statement considering that he almost lost his badge over trying to kill that fucking punk." He responded.

"That's exactly what I said but we're overloaded with cases. CyberLife's apparently sending another android."

"Oh for fuck's sake… one isn't enough help, apparently. We'll see you there." Hank replied with a disgruntled snort.

After pulling her pajama top off and applying Megababe Green Deo to her freshly waxed underarms, Leah closed the deodorant and washed her face and towel dried it before she brushed her teeth and spit out the toothpaste and followed up with mouthwash before she pulled her long hair into a ponytail and put her medical bracelet on her left wrist.

Using the same skincare she used last night and putting some pumpkin spice perfume to her neck, Leah then finished getting undressed and applied a bit of her Megababe Thigh Rescue to the areas her skin was prone to chafing before she got dressed and brushed a stray hair off of her black skinny jeans after pulling on a pair of black boots and tying them.

She pressed a B12 Awake patch to the inside of her right wrist before she closed the packet and put it away before she brushed a stray hair off of her light grey I'm Mostly Peace, Love & Light And A little Go Fuck Yourself shirt.

After applying primer, makeup and setting her makeup with setting spray, Leah applied some cuticle oil to her cuticles and massaged it in to extend the life of her slate blue manicure before she applied Nivea cream to her hands and massaged it into her skin.

Leah put a pack of Be Calm patches and her noise canceling headphones in her work bag in case the day got stressful and grabbed her gun and badge, putting her badge on the left pocket of her jeans and her gun in her coat pocket… and she pulled her oversized black fleece coat on and tied it closed before she closed her work bag and grabbed it before she walked into the living room and left with Hank after petting Sumo.

At the ER in Henry Ford Hospital, Gavin and Tina walked to the nurses station and a blonde haired green eyed nurse looked at them.

"Hi… I'm Detective Reed, this is Officer Chen. We're here to talk to Leo Manfred." Gavin explained, managing to keep his composure as he didn't want to be the one to interview Leo about what had happened.

"He's in room 1256 on the 2nd floor." The nurse explained before the two walked to the elevator and got into it.

The doors closed as Gavin pressed the 2nd floor button and Tina got him to look at her.

"I don't like this either. I still have vivid memories of her wearing a cast on her right arm and trying to hide bruises with concealer." Tina explained, Gavin lightly rubbing his right hand up and down her back.

"I almost killed that son of a bitch last time. I guess that's why Fowler didn't send me here alone." Gavin responded before he lowered his hand and they got out of the elevator.

Leo opened his eyes as the door opened, assuming it was another nurse… and turning panicked when he saw Gavin and Tina.

"Easy, we're just here to get your written statement on what happened last night." Tina responded firmly.

Leo looked away from Gavin, remembering what happened the last time.
