"Heartless humans." An Elf said, looking at the family they killed.

The male was pretty big, having a few arrows in his back. The female lay on the ground, an axe in her chest. She was still breathing, but there was nothing they could do.

"M-M-My s-son." She gasps.

The Elf looked at her as she pointed to the cart they were riding. Their pointed ears soon pick up something moving inside. A female Elf walks towards it and looks inside. The others hear her gasps, pulling out a wrapped-up cloth, and hearing a small cry.

The Female Elf walked up to the woman, holding a baby human.

"P-P-Please... T-Take care o-o-of h-h-him." She begged, reaching out for her son.

Her hand fell before she could touch her son's small hands. The Elves looked at each other, surprised to hear the human final wish. Humans and Elves were not on friendly terms. There was a treaty between them, but both sides could not stand each other. However, they were not heartless. There was no way for a baby human to survive on its own. The Elves pick up the humans, it took two elves to lift the big one, before heading back to their people.

They follow trees before entering a cave that was covered in thick moss. They walked until they enter the Greenwood Kingdom, one of the many Elves Kingdoms. Many elves stopped what they were doing, seeing the dead humans. The Elves kept walking until they reached the castle, where the Queen stepped out to see them.

"Humans?" She asked, seeing the elves place them down.

"Killed by their own kind." The Male Elf said.

"There is a survivor," The Female Elf said, handing the baby human to the queen.

The Queen looked at the baby, seeing its black hair and opening its blue eyes. The baby fussed a bit, but the queen hummed a song to calm it down. She sighs, knowing it wasn't wise to leave a young human alone.

"Bury the humans. I'll take care of their child." She ordered.

The Elves bowed and picked up the humans. The Queen looked at the baby before sighing. She could tell it was barely a week old and it already lost its parents. She enters the castle before seeing her daughter running up.

"Mommy? What's that?" The young elf asked.

"A human baby." She said, showing her.

"Wow, he's so small." The little Elf said.

"Humans are different from us. It lost its family and has nowhere to go." The Queen said.

"Does that mean he's staying with us?" The little Elf asked.

"He?" The queen asked.

"Remember, Mommy? You told me to keep an eye on things that will help me know which gender someone is. This human is a boy." She said.

The Queen smiles, proud of her daughter. She then looks at the baby boy, who yawned before falling asleep.

"He going to live with us for now. Until he's reached his human age. I trust that you will take care of him?" The Queen said.

"Yes, Mommy! What's his name?" The Little Elf asked.

"His name is...Dan'iel." The Queen said.

14 years later,

The queen sighs as it seems the war with the humans was becoming unavoidable. Her army ready themselves, knowing it was starting soon. Many warriors were given a few days to spend time with their families, knowing that some of them may never return. She then turns and sees her daughter, Selda, and her human son, Dan'iel looking sad. Dan'iel has grown into a fine human. He was pretty skilled in the way of the sword and archery. He did have a bit of trouble grasping the idea of magic. However, the castle was the only place in the kingdom that made him feel welcome. He was well aware that he was not an elf and that he had a human family but wasn't told of their death and was always picked on. Selda was his only friend.

Speaking of the princess, She had grown into a beautiful Elf warrior. Both she and Dan'iel trained together after wanting to help both the kingdom and each other. However, it appears that the two have somewhat gained crushes on each other but they have yet to seek them out. The Queen had no problem with it. Dan'iel was a kind and smart boy. Being raised by Elves made him smarter than most humans, but he did have his own charm. Selda has been around him all his life. Dan'iel wanted to confess to her many times but wasn't sure if it was a good idea. Not all the elves in the kingdom like him and many elves have tried to win Selda's hand.

"My children," The Queen said.

"Sorry, mom. It's just, do we really have to fight the humans?" Selda asked.

"We understand that our kind doesn't get along, but this war seems pointless," Dan'iel said.

"I agreed, but the human king sees us as lesser species. Many of the other Elf kingdoms are not taking this laying down. A few human kings don't wish to fight us but they will should we attack them." The Queen said.

Selda frowns, she was aware that humans were all not like Dan'iel. But this was going too far! Sighing, She looks at the boy seeing his upset look. She knew he had a tough life growing up being the only human in an Elf Kingdom. Selda had defended him many times, but many elves didn't let up. A few times her mother stepped in reminding a few elves that he has nowhere to go and is living with them until he's of age.

"My children, are you sure about this?" The Queen asked.

"No, but if we can get the humans to understand that this war is pointless, we could avoid the bloodshed," Selda said.

"Yeah. It's going to be tough, though." Dan'iel said.

"The kingdom close to us is on more friendly terms. The humans there will gladly welcome you both. But please be aware that one starting this war is trying to get all the human kingdoms under his banner." The Queen said.

"We haven't forgotten," Selda said.

Dan'iel sighs. To think his kind would go to war with the Elves after the queen did so much for him. He wanted to know about his human family, but this war will take that from him if they don't stop it.

"Until then, the army will ready themselves and spend time with their families." The Queen said before turning to her human son.

"Dan'iel, I know you wish to learn about your family, but I ask you to watch over my daughter, for me. Not all humans are like you." She said.

"I know. Thank you for taking care of me, even if most of your people don't like me." Dan'iel said.

"As I told you before, I don't care if you're a human or an elf. I took you in and raised you. You will always be my son." The Queen said, hugging him.

"Thanks...mom." He said, surprising her.

He's never called her mom before! She smiles, glad for it. She lets him go and nods at them.

"My the Elf Gods watch over you." She said, bowing.

"My the gods watch over us." They said, bowing back.

And the start of my Danny/Elf girl story. I know it's a bit short, but I want to see what you all think about it. Also, this girl, my Fariy Girl, and Dragon Girl are all part of a new series I'm calling Fantasy Girls. Much like my Monsters Girls stories, each of these stories will have girls from the Fantasy World. I still have a few more Monster Girls stories to write, but I'm not going to accept any more monsters girls.

Unlike my Fairy and Dragon girls, this one takes place during Medevil Times. Danny's parents were killed by bandits and he was staking in and raised by the queen of Elves. This gives him a better chance of falling for the girl in this story. However, this isn't an incest story. Since Danny and Selda aren't related, there's nothing stating that they couldn't fall in love. However, Danny's life with the Elves wasn't always great. As stated, The Humans and Elves are not on friendly terms and they are about to go to war with each other. Luckily, a few kingdoms are on friendly terms but one is trying to undo all that.

I don't know if there's a real Elf Laugne, but Danny's name in this, Dan'iel, means "Lone Child" in their words. And yes, Jazz is still alive if you haven't guessed. They will meet, but not until later.
