A/N: I also wanted to do a My Hero Academia story about National Chicken Wing day, but I didn't want to do just any old MHA story, so I thought, "why not a crossover with Sonic?" Thus, this was born. Enjoy!

A Boeing 737-800 of Jeju Air touched down at Shizuoka Airport, and Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends exited the plane. Among said friends were Miles "Tails" Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, Cream the Rabbit – and by extension, her pet Chao Cheese – Charmy Bee, Espio the Chameleon and Vector the Crocodile. They had been invited to lunch with the students of UA High School in Musutafu, hence why they had travelled such a long way. Sonic couldn't help but contain his excitement about the whole thing:

"I've never heard of 'UA' before, but I'm really lookin' forward to meetin' those cats!"

"I read about it before we got here," said Tails. "UA High School is the most prestigious hero school in Japan, if not the world. Some of the best heroes – including All Might – have graduated from this school."

"That a fact? Well, I didn't need to go to school to learn how to whoop Robuttnik!"

"And I didn't go to school at all!" said Knuckles.

"Oh really?" Rouge put a hand on her hip. "Then how did you even learn, Knuckie?"

"The Knuckles clan left an extensive library on Angel Island. I learned all I need to just by reading!"

Rouge smirked. "Yeah, like that did you a lot of good!"

Knuckles blushed. "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?"

Rouge put her hands over her mouth, trying to suppress laughter. "N-nothing! Nothing at all!"

"Will you two quit acting like idiots?" said Shadow. "Aren't we all supposed to act like heroes here?"

"Well, I can't agree with the 'idiot' part, but Shadow's got a point!" said Amy. "We should be getting along with each other and showing the students of UA what good people we are!"

"I agree with Miss Amy!" said Cream. "I want to get to know them as friends and be nice to them!"

"Chao!" said Cheese.

"I'm just lookin' forward to the food!" said Charmy.

"Charmy, is your mind on a single track or what?" said Vector. "I mean, sure the food's somethin' to look forward to, but don't ya wanna make new friends and allies?"

"A most exemplary point, Vector," said Espio. "Based on my knowledge of Quirks, these students could prove to be advantageous allies."

Vector gave a thumbs up. "I hear ya, Espio!"

After going through the security checks, Sonic and co. were almost at the front door when…

"Hello there! You must be Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends."

Standing before Sonic and co. was a thin man with wild blond hair and sunken black eyes. He wore a dark gray suit with a red tie and black leather dress shoes. Sonic smiled and gestured to himself with his thumb.

"The one and only! And who are you?"

"My name is Toshinori Yagi. I was known as the pro hero All Might."

Sonic spat up big time.

"Hold up, man!" said Sonic. "YOU'RE All Might? But I thought All Might was the world's greatest hero…next to moi, I mean."

"Was the world's greatest hero. I'll explain later. For now, why don't you introduce me to the rest of your friends?"

"Groovy! So, this little guy here is Tails. He's my main man!"

"Nice to meet you!"

Tails and All Might bowed.

"This cat right here is Knuckles," said Sonic. "He's a real solid dude, too."

"Hey there!"

Knuckles and All Might bowed, too.

"That mama right there is Amy," said Sonic. "She's a really good friend!"

"Hi!"

As with Tails and Knuckles, Amy bowed before All Might as well.

"This dude is Shadow," said Sonic. "He may seem like a real jive turkey, but deep down inside, he's a real stone cat!"

"Hmph."

Shadow refused to bow before All Might, much to Amy's consternation:

"Shadow, All Might is playing host to us! Please be polite to him!"

Shadow crossed his arms. "He's just some washed-up nobody. I'll show him my respect once he shows that he deserves it."

Amy growled and clenched her fists. "Fine! I guess a certain Ultimate Life Form won't get to see the latest Executioner movie with his cute pink girlfriend!"

Shadow froze. The Executioner movies – based upon Don Pendleton's best-selling book series – were his favorite movie franchise of all time, and he'd been eagerly looking forward to watching the upcoming installment Savage Fire with Amy ever since she promised to go with him in exchange for him cooking a nice dinner for her. The fact that she'd threatened to withhold this highly-anticipated happening from him was perhaps the only thing that could come close to the pain of losing his beloved Maria, and he valued Amy's feelings more than most things in the world, so he uncrossed his arms.

"All right, Amy…you win."

"Awww, what a good guy!"

Amy hugged Shadow, and he just couldn't help but return the gesture. Even if he viewed All Might as a lowly commoner, he just couldn't resist such a sweet gesture from his dear Rose. Not only did it relax him, but he enjoyed how soft, warm and cuddly she was. Evidently, Rouge was enjoying the whole spectacle as well:

"Awww…look at my little Shaddy baby getting along with his darling girlfriend! This deserves to be frozen in time!"

Rouge took a picture of the hug with her phone, much to Shadow's chagrin:

"I hate my life right now." (Actually, I love it when Amy hugs me. She's such a cute and sexy girl.)

After the hug, Shadow bowed before All Might.

"Anyways," said Sonic, "that foxy-lookin' mama is Rouge. She's my number-one girlfriend."

Rouge clasped her hands together next to her head. "Awww, what a sweetie! Anyways, it's very nice to meet you, sugar!"

Rouge blew a kiss at All Might, causing him to blush.

"Movin' on, that little girl over there is Cream," said Sonic. "She's probably the nicest person you'll ever meet."

"Hello, Mr. All Might!" said Cream. "It's nice to meet you!"

"Chao Chao!" said Cheese.

Cream curtsied before All Might.

"And last, but most certainly not least, these three cats are the Chaotix: Charmy, Espio and Vector," said Sonic. "They may seem like a bunch of goofballs, but they know how to get the job done when it really counts."

"Hey!" said Charmy.

"Oaidekiteureshīdesu," said Espio.

"How do ya do?" said Vector.

All three bowed before All Might.

"Anyways, let's get going," said All Might. "The rest of the students are waiting for you."

All Might led Sonic and co. out to a bus – a Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa – that he'd chartered for the occasion, and the former #1 hero drove them down to UA. Along the way, Sonic and co. marvelled at the sights around them. For most of them, it was like entering a completely new world. The only ones who didn't really seem to be fazed were Shadow, who couldn't have cared less, and Espio, having been raised here before emigrating.

Soon enough, the bus reached UA, and once again, Sonic and co. couldn't help but be drawn in by the sheer size of the school, not to mention the huge security fence. When they got off the bus, they were greeted by a man with pale skin, long black hair, sunken, stern-looking eyes and a 5 o'clock shadow.

"So, you're the famous Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends," said the man.

Sonic put his fists on his hips and gave a cocky smile. "That I am! And you are…?"

"My name is Shota Aizawa, better known as the pro hero 'Eraserhead'."

Everyone bowed before Aizawa, and Aizawa bowed back.

"Anyways," said Aizawa, "I've been instructed to conduct a thorough background check on all of you, and all of you have passed. I will say, however, that I'm keeping an eye on you…Shadow the Hedgehog."

Shadow crossed his arms. "Hmph, like I care."

"Need I remind you that you're a special guest here? You should show more respect. I could break you, so leave it."

Amy gently tugged at Shadow's arm and gave him a look of concern, so he turned back to Aizawa.

"Yes, Mr. Aizawa."

"Good. Now then, UA's security barrier requires an ID to enter the school. Since you are guests, I have arranged to give you Special Entry Permission IDs. Please line up in an orderly fashion before collecting them."

Sonic and co. lined up to collect their IDs, which went better than Aizawa expected.

"Now then, welcome to UA High," said Aizawa.

Sonic and co. stepped through the gates, and they got quite the surprise as the main building of UA towered over them like a toccata. In the courtyard in front of the school, several rows of picnic tables had been set up. Shortly after entering the school grounds, Sonic and co. were greeted by one of the students, a voluptuous girl with long, fluffy, 80s-style green hair. She wore an aqua green tank top, white vintage-style running shorts with aqua green stripes and red high-top sneakers.

"Hey, I know you!" said the girl. "You're Sonic the Hedgehog!"

Sonic gestured to himself with his thumb. "That I am! You are…?"

"My name is Izuko Midoriya, but my friends call me 'Deko'."

"Nice to meet ya, Izuko!"

"Please, call me 'Deko'!"

Deko shook hands with Sonic.

"Hi Deko, my name is Tails!"

"I've heard about you, too! In fact, I've heard about all of you, and I'm so honored to meet Sonic and his friends!"

"I'd rather fall from space again," said Shadow.

"And you must be Shadow the Hedgehog!" said Deko. "I've studied a lot about the project that led to your creation!" Deko's look turned more serious. "Having said that, I wanted to say I'm sorry about Maria."

"Usually, I would chew people out for daring to bring her up, but you seem like a halfway-decent person, so I accept your condolences."

"Deko, are these our special guests?"

The person who had addressed Deko was a boy with white hair on his right side, red hair on his left side and a red blotch-shaped scar over his left eye, which was bluish gray as opposed to the red eye on his right. He wore a Judas Priest British Steel T-shirt, a studded leather wristband on his left wrist, a Timex watch on his right, blue jeans and black "McNamara" leather combat boots.

"Oh, hey there Todoroki! Yes, this is Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. Sonic, this is my boyfriend Shoto Todoroki."

"Nice to meet ya, man!"

"Likewise,"

Sonic and Todoroki shook hands.

"Deko, you never told us that they were our special guests," said Todoroki.

Deko smiled. "That's because I wanted to surprise you!"

"Anyways, since we're all lovey-dovey here, I wanted to introduce ya to my girl," said Sonic. "This here is Rouge the Bat."

"Well, hello!" Rouge flashed her pearly whites at Deko and Todoroki.

"I've heard about you too, Rouge!" said Deko. "Have I told you how much I admire you?"

"Awww, what a sweetie! Have I told you that you're a lucky girl for having such a handsome guy?"

Todoroki blushed.

(She thinks I'm handsome? Oh no, I don't know how to respond to this!)

"Forgive Rouge," said Sonic. "She's real nice, but she's real flirty too."

Rouge wrapped an arm around Sonic. "Would you want it any other way, Big Blue?"

"Guess not!"

"I'm Amy, and I'm Shadow's boyfriend!"

Deko put her index finger up to her chin. "That's interesting, Amy. For a while, I thought you were Sonic's boyfriend."

Amy smiled nervously. "Well, I did use to be obsessed with Sonic, but after hanging out with Shadow some more, I came to see that he really was the right guy for me."

"Hey, are we gonna keep jawin' or are we gonna eat?" said Vector.

"And what's on the menu for today?" asked Sonic.

"Lunch Rush should just about have everything ready," said Deko. "He's prepared a variety of foods, but the main course is chicken wings."

"Chicken wings?" Tails stroked his chin. "Why?"

"Today is National Chicken Wing Day!"

"And I thought I'd heard it all!" said Knuckles.

"That actually sounds plausible," said Shadow.

"For once, I agree with Shad," said Sonic. "My Hedgehog Sense is tellin' me that it ain't no jive. But enough talk, let's chow!"

Sonic, Tails, Deko, Todoroki, Sonic's other friends and the rest of the UA students lined up to grab some grub. Sonic got some teriyaki chicken wings, a couple of chili dogs and a side of pork-fried rice, plus some Coke to wash it down with. The Blue Blur ended up seated between Tails and Rouge, and Deko and Todoroki sat across from them. Sonic proceeded to chow down and found that the teriyaki wings were so sweetly savory like no other teriyaki-flavored food he'd ever had.

"These are really good, Deko! I'll have to say thanks to Lunch Rush!"

"I know! He makes the best lunches for us ever! Usually, I'm into katsudon, but these honey BBQ wings are really good, too.

"What's 'katsudon'?"

"Katsudon is a fried pork cutlet served over a bed of rice," said Tails.

"It's really delicious!" Deko took another bite of a wing.

"Personally, I prefer zaru soba, but I've had katsudon before and it's delicious, too." Todoroki took a bite of a buffalo wing.

"I'm with Sonic," said Rouge. "I've heard of plenty of international foods, but not these."

"Zaru soba is a type of cold noodle dish made with soba – thin buckwheat noodles – topped with shredded seaweed," said Tails.

Rouge stuck her tongue out at the mention of "seaweed".

"Believe me, it's actually tasty!" said Deko.

"You might think so, but I pass, honey." Rouge took a bite of a honey mustard wing.

While Sonic, Tails, Rouge, Deko and Todoroki were having their own conversation about food. Amy was sitting down enjoying some sweet & sour wings when her Hedgehog Sense tingled. She looked up at the seat across from her and saw a voluptuous girl with pink skin, short, wild, fluffy pink hair, two hooked pale yellow horns sticking out of her head and yellow eyes with black sclera. She wore an Acid Maniac T-shirt, denim short shorts and pink/white sneakers. Both girls gasped upon seeing each other.

"OH MY DAMN CHERRY BLOSSOMS!*" said Amy and the other girl at the same time.

"I can't believe I'm meeting another pink girl!" said the other girl.

"I know!" said Amy. "This is too awesome! What's your name?"

"I'm Mina Ashido!"

"I'm Amy Rose!"

"Nice to meet you, Amy!"

Amy and Ashido shook hands.

"So tell me, Ashido, are you into fluffy and cute stuffed animals?"

"Totally! Are you into shopping and hanging out with your girlfriends?"

"Absolutely! Are you into trying out cute outfits for different occasions?"

"YEAH!"

Amy and Ashido gave each other some dap.

"BESTIES!" said Amy and Ashido at the same time.

An invisible girl in a pink T-shirt and black leggings took notice:

"Hey Ashido, I thought I was your bestie!"

Ashido wrapped an arm around the invisible girl. "Relax, Toru! A girl can have more than one bestie, you know! Besides, no one will replace you!" She turned to Amy. "Amy, this is Toru Hagakure; Toru, this is Amy Rose!"

"Nice to meet you, Amy!"

"Nice to meet you too, Hagakure! By the way, how do you deal with being invisible?"

"Oh, it's no problem for me! I mean, I wish I could turn it off and on at will, but other than that, I'm fine with it!"

"Wow, you seem like a courageous woman, Hagakure!"

"WHAT THE CRAP!?" exclaimed a blond boy with spiky hair and mean eyes. "ARE YOU TWO GIRLS SERIOUSLY TALKING TO A PINK ALIEN!?"

"Calm down, Bakugo; she's not an alien!" said Ashido. "She's a hedgehog!"

"Ashido's right!" said Amy.

"SHUT UP!" yelled Katsuki "Kacchan" Bakugo. "NO ONE ASKED YOU!"

Amy scratched her head. "Is he always this angry?"

"Yeah, even my attitude isn't that foul," said Shadow.

"OK, so this guy here is Katsuki Bakugo," said Ashido. "He's my boyfriend!"

Kacchan clasped his hands over his ears. "I HATE THIS."

"How do you put up with a guy like that?" asked Shadow.

"Oh, it's easy! I give him huggles!"

Ashido huggled Kacchan, who grumbled angrily when she did this, but nevertheless made no attempt to resist her.

"Excuse me, I don't believe we've met before," said a girl with shoulder-length auburn hair that had two prominent bangs on either side, matching eyes and pink cheeks. "I'm Ochaco Uraraka! This is my best friend Tsuyu Asui!"

"Call me 'Tsu'."

Amy waved at Uraraka and Tsu. "Nice to meet you! I'm Amy Rose, and this is my boyfriend Shadow the Hedgehog."

"Hi there." Shadow took another bite of a maple honey wing.

"OK, this is going to sound totally goofy," said Uraraka, "but I have this intuition about whether people would make good couples, and I can tell that you and Shadow are practically made for each other!"

Amy clasped her hands together. "Awww, you're too kind, Uraraka."

"By the way, since we're all formally introducing ourselves, my name is Espio the Chameleon. This is my boss Vector the Crocodile, and that's my comrade Charmy Bee."

"How do ya do?" said Vector.

"HI!" said Charmy.

"Wow, I never imagined I'd meet any other reptilian people, ribbit," said Tsu.

"You must have a Quirk that allows you to behave like a frog, then." Espio took a bite of his dango.

"Indeed. I find it's very helpful…well, except for the fact that I have no use for the ability to spit my own stomach out and clean it, and there's the fact that I feel tired in colder weather, but no Quirk is perfect."

"Nothing ever is."

"Say, Espio, what's your Quirk?"

"I wouldn't necessarily call this a 'Quirk', but I can do anything a chameleon can: blend in with my environment, climb up walls and ceilings, and I can also mask the sound of my own footsteps."

"Fascinating."

"Indeed, that does sound fascinating," said a person with a black raven-like head.

"Pardon me, I don't believe we've met, either," said Espio.

"My name is Fumikage Tokoyami."

"Pleased to meet you. I am Espio the Chameleon."

Espio and Tokoyami bowed before each other.

"Pardon me if this sounds forward, but looking into your eyes, it seems to me as though you have an interest in the darkness," said Tokoyami.

"Given the nature of my work, I have peered into darkness more than once. It was a breathtaking experience." Espio finished off his dango.

"Indeed it is. Do you have any other hobbies?"

"I can play guitar and bass, and I also do backing vocals."

Tokoyami swallowed a bit of apple pie. "What a coincidence. I myself play guitar, and I'm also a competent singer, but I prefer to leave lead vocals to others."

"Do you prefer rhythm or lead guitar?"

"I'm more of a lead guitarist myself. Playing guitar solos really energizes me."

"Then you are on the opposite end as me. I'm more content with rhythm guitar." Espio took a bite of a Reuben.

"I see."

"Sorry I was absent," said Mr. Aizawa. "I just didn't want to exclude this special guest from the festivities."

The party guests let out a collective "awww" when they saw who'd been invited to the party: a young girl with long, bluish-white hair that was parted to the sides, a small horn on her forehead and large red eyes. She wore a white long-sleeve blouse under a red dress, dark gray tights and tan boots. She trembled nervously at the sight of Sonic and his friends, not knowing how to process them.

"Hi there!" Cream waved at the girl. "You can sit over here if you want!"

"Chao!" said Cheese"

Sensing that Cream wasn't dangerous, the girl walked over to her and sat down next to her.

"Hi, my name is Cream, and this is my pet Chao, Cheese! What's yours?"

"My name is Eri."

"Nice to meet you, Miss Eri!"

Cream got up from her seat and curtsied before Eri, and Eri returned the gesture.

"I just met you, but I like you, Cream."

"I like you too, Miss Eri! You seem like a nice person!"

"Chao Chao!" said Cheese.

"I try to be. When Midoriya found me, I was being held prisoner by bad people, but Midoriya and some of his friends came to rescue me, and they brought me here, where I'm safe."

Cream frowned. "I'm sorry you were taken by bad people. I was attacked by bad people too, but Miss Amy saved me."

Eri smiled. "Then we're both lucky to have good friends."

"Yes we are!"

"Hey Cream, who's your new friend?" Rouge had walked over.

"Miss Rouge, this is Eri. Eri, this is Miss Rouge."

Eri smiled. "Hi!"

"Hello to you too!" Rouge patted Eri on the shoulder. "Aren't you an adorable little girl? Any parent would be lucky to have you as their own! Yes they would! Yes they would!"

Eri giggled.

"Wow Rouge, you must really like children!" said Deko.

"They can be a handful sometimes, but they're so precious! Sometimes, I fantasize about adopting a child."

"Then why not do it?"

"See, the thing is…I don't actually want children. They're a huge responsibility, and I value my freedom. Then again, Sonic's told me that he doesn't want children either."

"Not to mention that neither of us wanna get married," said Sonic. "Still, I could never, ever imagine spendin' my life with another mama. Not only is Rouge the sexiest mama I've ever met, but I love when she flirts with me, and even if she likes stealin' jewels, deep down inside, she's a kind, caring mama who would do anything to make people happy, whether it's givin' 'em a hug or cookin' their favorite food for them."

"Sonic, you're such a sweet honey-hog!"

Rouge gave Sonic a kiss, and he wrapped his arms around her as well. A couple of people let out "awwws" when they saw this, especially Deko and Todoroki. Soon enough, they broke away, but not without

"Rouge, you're my favorite woman ever."

"And you're my favorite boyfriend ever."

Deko and Todoroki were especially pleased to see Sonic and Rouge being so loving towards each other.

"Deko, seeing those two being so affectionate with each other…I never really wanted children either, but I think I'm starting to change my mind," said Todoroki.

"Todoroki, we don't have to have children right now! We've got plenty of time to think about this!"

Todoroki nodded. "Very good point."

"Besides, we shouldn't be troubling ourselves with marital and family issues at this point in our hero careers," said Tenya Iida.

Deko smiled. "Iida's right. Let's try to be the best heroes we can in addition to being the best partners we can."

"Amen," said Todoroki.

While Sonouge and Tododeku were being so lovey-dovey with each other, Eijiro Kirishima had taken a break from eating some ribs to observe the proceedings, and it filled him with emotion:

"Man, it sure warms my heart to see my friends bein' so lovin' with each other!"

"I'm not usually into mushy romance stuff, but I'm glad Rouge is goin' after Sonic instead of me," said Knuckles.

Kirishima's look turned serious. "Why do ya say that, Knuckles?"

"Kirishima, if you've been around Rouge as long as I have, you'd know how much her flirting and jewel-chasing gets on my nerves. Granted, she's gotten better since she started goin' out with Sonic, but still…"

"I can understand how she'd get on your nerves, but don't ya think it's more manly to be happy for your friends?"

Knuckles stroked his chin. "You're right; I guess I should be happy about that. More so, I'm happy I found you to talk about manly stuff with!"

Kirishima gave a thumbs-up. "Hell yeah! I may not have known ya for a day, but you're already one of my new best bros!"

"Pound it!"

Knuckles and Kirishima gave each other a fist bump.

"Hey Kirishima…"

"What's up, Kaminari?"

"Is it wrong that I find that white bat hot?"

Suddenly, Denki Kaminari received a violent shock from one of Kyoka Jiro's earphone jacks.

"You're really into bestiality now? You're sick!"

"Ya know, where we come from, it's normal for humans and animals to date each other," said Knuckles.

"I still don't like the idea, Knuckles."

"By the way, what's your name?"

"I'm Kyoka Jiro."

Knuckles smiled. "Nice to meet ya! Even if I disagree with your opinion on human-animal relations, you actually seem like a sensible person!"

Jiro smiled. "Well, somebody's gotta have some sense around here!"

Kaminari rubbed the spot where he'd been shocked and gave a nervous look to Jiro. By this time, a very short student with purple skin and ball-like appendages on his head was approaching Rouge. He ended up getting shocked by Jiro as well.

"Don't think I can't see you trying to perv out on our guests, Mineta!"

Minoru Mineta rubbed the spot where he'd gotten shocked. "Sorry! I was only going to talk to her!"

Jiro rolled her eyes.

"Jiro…"

Tokoyami had approached Jiro.

"What's up, Tokoyami?"

"I've spoken quite a bit with Espio. He says he plays guitar and bass. As a matter of fact, most of Sonic's friends play one instrument or another."

Jiro smiled. "Way cool! I'll have to jam with them some time!"

"You're always up for a jam session!" said a voluptuous girl with voluminous black hair styled into a spiky ponytail and a large bang on the right side of her face.

"That reminds me: Yaoyorozu, wanna jam with Midoriya, Todoroki, Bakugo and I next weekend?"

Momo Yaoyorozu gave a thumbs up. "Of course, girl!"

Jiro smiled.

Once the food was done with, Sonic and co. not only assisted in the cleanup of all the garbage, but wrapping up leftovers. The Sonic gang was even permitted to take some leftovers home with them.

"Deko, it was real nice meetin' ya!" said Sonic. "I hope we meet again at some point!"

"Me too! You're one of the most noble souls I've ever met, and I'm honored to have met ya!"

"Same here, Mama!"

Deko knelt down and gave Sonic a hug, which he gladly returned. Sure, this green bean would never replace Rouge, but he found much comfort in her touch. In a way, he felt like a giant doll in her arms. This was one of the softest, warmest, most cuddly hugs he'd ever received, and the memory was going to stay with him forever. The way she held him, he could tell that they were going to be the best of friends. Even if she couldn't replace Tails, he was looking forward to hanging out with her again. Eventually, she let go.

"Goodbye, Sonic the Hedgehog!"

"See ya later, Izuko Midoriya!"

Sonic and co. said their goodbyes to the students and staff of UA. Even if they were going to be apart for now, both parties had hope that some other day, some other time, they would meet again, united in friendship and heroism.
