A/N : This work is part two of my other fic called 'The perfect match'. Read that first.

I know I left part 1 with the smallest crumb of SasuSaku at the end, but I could not stop thinking about what happened after they finally met. So here it is.

Summary : "Naruto was sure he must be having a nosebleed witnessing what had just transpired. Not only did it look like the foul mood Sasuke had since this morning, or since twenty five years, had dissipated, he had smiled more than Naruto had known him to have over the many years he knew him. And the way he was looking at Sakura, damn, it felt like he was intruding on something very personal, but he could not find himself wanting to look away either."

Ino had designed the perfect plan. As soon as the word 'Sasuke' fell out of Sakura's mouth, she knew she would do anything for her best friend. Even if Sakura was doubtful, Ino would believe her eyes over anything she herself might have seen. So however strange Ino might have herself felt about Sakura not receiving a message from 'Sasuke', she told herself the same things she told her pinkette friend, that maybe he did not have enough time in her body. But now, if there was even a one percent chance that the blond guy by Hinata's side knew anything about the person who would be Sakura's happiness, she would move heaven and earth to find out.

Not that it was hard trying to get Naruto to talk. He was in 'the haze' as she called it. The extreme bliss of having just met your soulmate. The feeling of butterflies mixed with the sensation of feeling complete after so long. Something she was privy to, ever since she took over Sai's body a year ago, not that she would admit it aloud to anyone. Sakura deserved that, after how long she waited for the right person to come along.

And so Ino had begun, asking Naruto about his version of events that led to him and Hinata, slowly leading him on to having fun, asking about his friends. And if the tug on Sakura's hand on her own throughout the plushie story told Ino anything, it was that the chances of nearing Sasuke were increasing with every word the blue eyed man was saying.

By the time Naruto declared that his friend had a stick up his ass since this morning, Ino knew she was there. Just one question, 'what's his name?', and the blond leaning on the counter would spill everything about his best friend, even the dirty little secrets. Only, Sakura let go of her hand and the seat she was sitting in, empty.

Ino turned around to look at what had just happened, only to see her friend in red, walking away, her eyes transfixed on something.

"Where is she going?", she said aloud, completely in the unknown. Silence fell amongst the group and everyone turned to look at Ino, then following her eyes towards the pinkette.

Naruto however, stood up straight instead, and his eyes landed a few feet from Sakura. There was no doubt as to who the target of his gaze was, because there he was standing, a tall man with broad shoulders, jet black hair, and coal black eyes, standing coolly with his hands in his pocket. And what seemed like ages late, Naruto uttered a few words that gave Ino the shock of her life.

"Hey! What's Sasuke doing here?" he wondered quizzically.

Ino gasped. "That's Sasuke?" she mustered, if only to confirm from the blond boy beside her, as their eyes stayed fixed on the man who steadily held Sakura's gaze as they spoke. Whatever they were speaking, it was inaudible to them, and it soon was transparent as if they were in a world of their own.

Sasuke then reached into his pocket and brought out what seemed to be his phone and displayed it to her as Sakura blushed furiously. The group on this side of the world could only gape.

But that was not the end of whatever was going on between them. Because soon enough, Sasuke dipped his head to lean over Sakura's shoulder and whispered something into Sakura's ear. Was that a smirk tugging its way out onto his lips, Ino wondered as she forgot to breathe. And for what it was worth, it seemed as if that was the case with everyone around.

"Oh my!", came Hinata's voice from somewhere behind her, and she was sure she heard Naruto gulping audibly on her right, as they watched Sasuke reverting to his original stance again.

That was when Sakura's hands shot up to her face, and a furious red blush bubbling beneath the surface of her rosy cheeks. And then, Sasuke smirked.

"Things sure are getting hot in here," came a voice, Tenten perhaps, Ino thought as she silently agreed raising her hand to fan her face as Sasuke said something else that still remained inaudible to everyone.

This cannot get any better, Ino told herself. Only, she was wrong the very next moment.

Sasuke's hands quickly found Sakura's, tugging on them to instantly pull her into him, and placed a kiss on her forehead. If Sakura gasped, none of them would know, because five jaws fell down on the dance floor that very second as the group stood shocked, witnessing a most intimate embrace between two people in question after that.

Naruto was sure he must be having a nosebleed witnessing what had just transpired. Not only did it look like the foul mood Sasuke had since this morning, or since twenty five years, had dissipated, he had smiled more than Naruto had known him to have over the many years he knew him. And the way he was looking at Sakura, damn, it felt like he was intruding on something very personal, but he could not find himself wanting to look away either.

And so they stared at the two who seemed to have finally reached home after a long and weary journey on the path of life.

That is until Hinata expressed her pleasure at watching the couple with an 'Aawww'.

That garnered a reaction from Naruto and he briskly walked towards the couple, brushing past Ino and breaking her trance in the process. The blond grinned happily as he gave a strong smack on Sasuke's back, and laughed at the tall man in question who sputtered instantly. As the couple pulled back from the embrace almost instantly, Sakura's face warmed in a rose hue.

Sasuke immediately wore a scowl on his face, "What the hell, moron?", he chided Naruto.

"You dog. This is what you were not telling me since morning," the blonde cracked.

"So you are Sasuke", Ino mulled as she walked closer to garner a good look at him.

"Sasuke Uchiha," he nodded in response, placing his hands back in his pockets, and giving out another curt nod to the black haired woman standing behind them as well.

.

.

Sakura could not look away from him ever since she broke from the embrace. Had someone told her yesterday that she would feel this deeply about her soulmate this soon, she might have not believed it, because whatever she had guessed, this was way better. Hell, it was something she was still trying to understand. But even if she was not ready to give it a name yet, she knew it was absolutely perfect.

More than perfect actually, now that she got a chance to take a good look at him. Clad in a light blue shirt, navy blue trousers and vest, tugging the coat of the three piece on his forearm, the man looked dashing, for lack of a better word. She could actually read him as more than the furtive person his monochrome gray home had defined him as. The way his hair fell away from his face, the way his chest puffed out of his muscular body, his chisled jaw, his arms, and oh his eyes. Damn! The Obsidian orbs glimmered under the artificial lights a little too whimsically. Well, things did get hotter didn't they?

"Dude. Now that you are here, we are going to have so much fun," the blond beamed with excitement. Was it too selfish of her to want to keep him to herself for a little longer, she wondered.

"In your dreams," Sasuke scoffed, as he rolled his eyes.

"Come on, do something fun with us. Or are you going to scowl and leave as usual?" Naruto huffed.

"Not wasting my energy on you," Sasuke replied through narrowed eyes as he shook his head. But then, he turned to look at Sakura. Why are there so many butterflies in my stomach, she wondered as she gaped.

"Come with me," he almost whispered to her, losing his scowl somewhere on the way from Naruto to her. She could only nod in response, and then she followed as he began to lead the way.

"Sak, wait", Ino grabbed her from behind and pulled her into a hug. "I'm so happy for you, Forehead. Did I not tell you he would come?", she squeaked.

Sakura gave her blonde friend a quick squeeze, mirroring her action. "Thanks, Pig," she said in response, and pressed her lips together as to contain her excitement. "Bye now," she simpered, quickly walking away in the direction her soulmate just went.

Ino on the other hand was shaking with absolute glee. Because for one, she could not contain her joy and excitement upon watching the two soulmates leave the establishment. And because this day was going to end so much better than she had worried it might not.

But the joy settled momentarily as she heard Naruto say, "What did you put in her pocket, Ino?"

The blonde woman bit her tongue and slowly turned to look at the blue eyed boy, worried that her plan might just fail. Oof… she was so careful.

However, the grin on his face only brought back the one that had left her face moments ago, as mischief twinkled in the sapphire eyes of Hinata's blonde soulmate. Never mind the others standing around them now, because they would not interfere if the two best friends orchestrated it.

Now if only she could find-

"Hey, sweetheart. Is this a butt-dial?" asked Sai's voice, who only just walked in on the gang.

-him. Ino smirked.

"It says that you're calling me. Where is your phone?" he posed, as his device flashed with her name in front of the group. "Why are you… smirking?"

This was going to be a long and fun night indeed.

.

.

Although Sakura was now sitting inside Sasuke's car, she was still in disbelief. How was all of this real. How did she suddenly feel this way about someone who was a stranger until yesterday. But more so, why did it feel like it had been ages since she had been separated from him, though it was just minutes ago that they met.

However, there seemed to be no need for her to find answers to these questions, because she found out perhaps for the first time in her life, she didn't care to know. Just the fact that all of this was real was enough. And so she left her eyes linger on him for however long they wanted to. It didn't seem they had their fill.

Sasuke had already rechecked everything twice. The fuel indicator. The check-engine light. The headlights. The indicators. The rear view mirror. The central-locking. The air conditioning. The wipers. The back-up camera. Maybe he could check once more. Or maybe not.

After a few moments of wondering about it, he sighed. There was only one way to deal with this. And that brought the smirk back onto his lips.

"You know," he began, "you can look at me after you put that seatbelt on," he said to her, finally turning to meet her eyes which had widened in a blush.

Sakura quickly looked away, pulling on her seatbelt, having been caught off-guard. That seemed to be happening a lot today. As her face warmed up in a rapid blush, she fumbled with the buckle of the seatbelt a couple of times, only to fail miserably. Somehow, his left hand came forward reaching out for it, and he carefully clicked it shut for her.

Everything was too much. The way their hands lingered around each other, it was both too little and too long. And the next blush Sakura felt coming on only reminded of the electrifying feeling that his touch had left behind a while ago when he pulled her flush against himself in an embrace.

The pinkette cleared her throat and tried to muster up a few words. 'Where are… we going?' she asked, looking anywhere but towards him. Becoming speechless was no way to begin with if you wanted to talk.

"Some place you'll like", he replied, as he began driving out of the parking lot. Well… maybe just a peek at him wouldn't hurt. But as Sakura tried to meet his eyes again, she found him focused on the road ahead. And he did not turn to look at her. Will he deprive me of his eyes too? He cannot be enjoying this… or could he?

"O- okay", she replied, too late perhaps. But then, how come the silence that she allowed to fall upon them feel so comfortable, she wondered, as she looked at the city lights falling behind quickly.

"Did you really think I did not like you?", he asked after a while.

Sakura's expression twisted in shock as she turned to look at him. "Well," she began, "you didn't leave me a message" she said, crossing her hands in front of her. Not that he turned to look at her even after he was the one who asked the question.

"And there could be no other reason for that?" he said painfully slowly, and his lips tugged upward even more so. Not that anyone else would be able to make it out. "Like say, because I lived close to you?" he triggered.

Sakura was dumbfounded.

"Well, you-" she began, only to be interrupted by his fiery gaze again. And she forgot what word were until he looked away again. "Was that why?" she questioned, as her heart slowed down once more. Seriously, this can't be good for her health, she thought as she gulped.

"No", he replied. If Sakura thought he was going to elaborate, he did not. Strangely enough, the upward tug of his lips did not make her think that. So he was playing with her, and so she let go.

But there was something in the air around them, surely. Because it seemed as if he did not want to let the silence fester around as much as he allowed it to before. And hence, a while later, his voice broke through the air, working its way towards her once more. "What kind of music do you like?" he posed.

She shrugged in response. "Folksy songs... Acoustic stuff too… Occasionally, Pop too. You?"

"Thank god," came the casual reply, almost cutting her off, and this time the smirk was legitimately inches away from his face. How he was controlling it, only he knew.

Sakura however, raised an eyebrow at that response. It did not go unnoticed by her that he was thankful for her choice of music. Neither the fact that he had not responded to her question.

"I'm just glad it's not rock, or death metal", he clarified as if reading her mind. Did he need to look around to understand people at all?

But then, there was a more pressing question she wanted to ask. Or phrase, more like.

"Doesn't match your vibe in the woods does it?", she challenged him, her own smirk dancing on her lips.

Yet, Sasuke Uchiha somehow one-upped everyone. "Not one bit", he said barely above a whisper, narrowing his eyes again as mischief twinkled behind them.

"You are still not gonna tell me what kind of music you like…?" she faded away, as she turned to look at the view outside.

Sasuke smirked once more. If he had to accept this in front of anyone, he would absolutely deny everything, but to himself, he would accept this. He is liking this more than he ever thought he could. Teasing her was fun, especially since she became so bothered so quickly. But also because she found ways to resist him and tickle him back. Especially the way she turned around and looked away from him, holding herself back a little too.

His upper lip twitched slightly at the view and the effort it took her, and he finally gave in a little. He would let her in on this one thing for now, he said to himself, as he pressed play on the music system and turned up the volume half way thorough.

"Oh really?", she responded instantly. "Classical Piano. Hmm…" she said as she smiled in wonder.

"Well, it goes with the vibe," he teased again.

Sakura looked away and let out a smile at his playfulness. They were somewhere along the forest line now, she figured as she looked out through the window once more. Twenty minutes out of the city from the club they were in, perhaps. Soon they came to a halt.

As he parked his car on the side of the road, he called out for her. "Come on", he said, getting out of the car, gesturing towards a cliff directly in her line of sight.

A walk perhaps a few meters away? The path beneath her heels was mostly gravel too, and although that did not seem natural, she wagered she could walk with ease. But the cold wind that blew over might just impede her plan to smoothly walk behind him. Sakura pulled her shawl a little closer as a chill went up her spine, and her teeth chattered disobediently as she shivered.

He noticed. "You cold?", he asked with concern, stopping in the middle of the path just a feet away from her.

"A .. a little," she confessed shyly.

"I'm here," he replied, shifting closer to her as he walked, now directly in the path of the wind. Maybe it was a fluke, or maybe it was fortune, but the breeze that was hitting her no longer found its way to her as she heaved a sigh of relief. As her shoulders drooped down relaxed, she savored the cedar scent he left behind him that made it all the more better. Somehow, she felt- no, she knew she would never feel cold again.

.

.

Less than a minute's walk from where they parked the car was this sight that did not leave anything to imagination. Nestled in the crook of Kage-Iwa plateau, surrounded by the lush forest in the distance was the scenic beauty of Konoha at night. Glimmering in hues of yellow and white, and an occasional bout of red or blue in the distance, under a blanket of stars that hung by the full moon, she could see how this place could be a haven for someone like Sasuke. It was breathtaking. For one moment, she wondered how many more such places existed in Konoha somewhere along this forest line, that offered such a radiant view of the city.

"This is one of my favorite places to be," he finally said.

So she was right, she thought. Not taking her eye away from the scenery, she responded craftily. "You mean when you are not living in the woods?"

Sasuke exhaled a breath that sounded like an off-mark chuckle. "I have a flat in the city. I just thought my home would be nicer", he offered, enjoying the view himself.

"Oh yeah," she said in reply. Only then, she wanted to elaborate. Maybe it was the breeze, or lack thereof, but a glimmer of mischief flashed over her eyes. "Yeah. It was so nice… standing under the stars… in strange woods with no landmarks… in someone else's body" she smirked looking at him. "So nice", she finished, as she found his eyes were already on her.

"Tch" he said again, just like he did before that embrace, and her heart swooned as he led them to a side to settle down on a fallen tree branch. This was much better.

"You know, I have a favorite place too… kind of like this," she began, moving to sharing an old memory, while her eyes stayed transfixed on the city beneath them. "It's on Nami no Kuni island by the sea. There is this lake which has an old watch tower in the middle of it… famous tourist spot... but me and my friends bribed a guard and sneaked into it once at midnight. Can you believe it?" she asked, glancing at him, as she was met with a hum of reassurance.

She continued, "So anyway, we climb into the tower and reach the top and it was this amazing 360 degree view of the cit-" but she stopped midway as she met his eyes once more. Something about his expression but he has a look of knowing on his face. "Uh…Why do you look like you already know?' she asked nervously.

A sheepish expression spread on his face. "I… do", he replied hesitantly.

"How do you know?"

Sasuke, however, remained silent. As red creeped up his neck, his hand darted to his back and he averted his eyes from her emerald ones. Almost as if he was caught with a hand in the cookie jar.

Sakura's eyes widened in recognition and she gasped.

"You… You saw my journal," she accused. "That is why that tab was closed."

Her soulmate however pursed his lips and pouted, still looking sheepishly, but also, somewhat apologetically. "I… I'm Sorry" he mustered slowly. "I just wanted to get to know you. I was only any more pictures but then … auto fill" he struggled. "And I got curious," he finished looking at her once more.

The pinkette however looked away, still red from embarrassment. There were so many things on that journal. Both the things she kept close to her heart and tried to rid herself of. That's why she supposes he spoke.

"I did not see all of them," he confessed. "Only a few that looked fun," he shrugged. And although she was a little relieved, she still did not meet his eyes. Here she sat knowing next to nothing about him, and he was sitting with a box full of things he knew about her. And that did not make her feel good one bit.

"What else should I have done until dawn then?", he extended. And then Sakura's jaw fell onto the ground.

"You spent until dawn in my body?" she cried out. And Sasuke could only stare open mouthed in surprise. "That- That's like a few hours or something.

"Maybe.." he finally accepted. "How many did you spend?"

"More like a few minutes! That too… That too in the middle of the woods… and then it took me so long to find a notepad in your house. By the way, would it have killed you to carry a pen and paper around on the one day I was going to possess you?" she huffed uninterruptedly.

Sasuke could not help but chuckle at her reaction. In such rapid succession, she had found four things to get mad at him for. And they were either about how he knew too much about her, or how she knew too little about him. How was he ever going to deal with it, he thought as he looked up at the sky probably one last time, and turned to look at her again. But as he watched her sitting with her arms crossed, staring into the distance with utter bewilderment in her eyes, pouting… he felt as if… maybe he will deal with it okay.

"Can you forgive me?' He finally asked, meeting her eyes.

Sakura looked into his eyes and studied him for a moment before she mellowed. "Well, I guess."

Hmmm. Quick to anger, if it can be called that, but quick to forgiveness too.

And then she extended. "And I have at least one leverage against you… so…", she said, squinting at him.

"Is that so?" he asked, raising his eyebrows in playful curiosity. "What is it, if I may know?" he extended, narrowing his eyes as his lips tugged upward.

"How you hide your softy side," she hummed, raising her chin in defiance.

Sasuke did not see it fit to word the jolt of surprise he felt at those words. His most carefully guarded secret was out in the hands of this woman who was his soulmate.

"Got a reputation to maintain?" she teased, and the smirk finally made its way onto his face as he looked away.

"You would really hold that over me?" he asked.

"Mmm... maybe a little… especially if you ever go through my journal again," she reminded him and burst into a fit of giggles. And Sasuke smiled wide, something that was better than any scenery.

The duo spent the next few minutes in silence once again. As another breeze went by, tickling Sakura's neck, she found herself enjoying the serene silence that came with it. Only, she realized she never told him how beautiful she thought his little niche was. Maybe it was even more perfect enjoying this with him.

"This place… it is really really beautiful, Sasuke-kun," she said, and turned to look at him. "It-", she fell short, and for good reason.

His heart skipped a beat and a sudden burst of warmth spurred in Sasuke's chest as a result of her words. As he turned to look at her, his eyes wide in recognition, he met hers mirroring the same expression in surprise. And then both of them blushed as she averted her eyes at the realization of what just happened.

Sasuke-kun.

The tender honorific that clearly, uncontrollably dropped from her lips, brought him an unspoken message. Well, now that he heard it, he was sure it was something that only felt right coming from her.

Sakura turned to peek at him after what felt like ages, but was perhaps only mere seconds, even if it was just to garner his reaction. Only, he was smiling, and somehow she suddenly felt reassured of the way she took his name. Now she knew it would always linger on her lips. Oh how things came to be on their own.

"You know, I thought you'd get maybe a couple of minutes or something extra," she said, "but you got a whole lot more than that… I- can't believe it worked", she confessed honestly.

"What worked?" his eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly.

"That my falling asleep gave you more time", she shrugged.

Sasuke tilted his head confused. He had heard that some people in the world sometimes got extra time, but this was something new he was hearing. "Does it work like that?" he asked.

"I don't know, I read it somewhere …" she trailed off. It worked in his favor anyway.

"Well, it was a good thing," he said, opening up a little. "I was actually getting worried, looking at the alarming amount of pink in your room," he added slyly.

"Well you live in the dark, any color must be too alarming for you," she replies and sticks her tongue out.

A deep chuckle escaped his lips as he looked towards Konoha again. "Well. It's still true. I was really concerned about the workings of the universe for what it was worth. I wondered how we would be a perfect match if tastes and lives were so different. But then I had time and I got to know you."

"Journal?"

"Hmm", he shrugged. "Whatever it may be, I'm thankful for those hours", he said turning to look at her again.

There was a degree of honesty in his eyes, something that brought out the same in her. "I was worried too…" she accepted after him. "When I woke up in your body and saw that you live in monochrome gray, I literally thought that some brooding hunk was going to be my.. Soulmate," she chuckled. "But then, I was looking for your ID and saw that picture in your drawer…" she said as she reminisced fondly about the moment when everything had changed.

As his eyes lingered on her once more, she continued. "It was like… You have color in your life, you just, keep it to yourself," she said, meeting his gaze. How was it that his gaze had begun to leave behind a wake of warm comfort rather than setting her entire body on fire like the first time?

"Not anyone's business," he murmured. But as his voice trailed down into a whisper, his eyes stayed fixed on her. She looked beautiful, almost ethereal with the city lights twinkling like a million stars in her eyes. Just his own little galaxy tucked away in a hidden corner of this world, away from prying eyes.

"Maybe," she began once more, "it's nice your way. There is a part of you that only I got to see" she smiled, meeting his eyes.

"Maybe your way is not bad either", he acknowledged. "There might be a few things I could see myself wanting to… show off…"

"A bit of both then?"

"Yeah." A bit of both, he nodded.

His hand approached hers much more hesitantly this time. Rather than the mind numbing electricity he felt through his veins the first time he touched her, a certain warmth pooling within had robbed him of the intensity with which he wanted her close to him. If he did not know better, it might have scared him, the exponential rate with which his feelings for her were growing within him. But he knew better, and this felt like the right place to be, the right way to be.

As their fingers interlaced with one another, he could not help but appreciate how well they fit, perfectly, heavenly even. Perhaps this is exactly what made for each other meant. And if anything about the universe-

*beep beep*

-and they pulled apart immediately and stood up.

Alerted by the sudden sound, both Sasuke and Sakura pulled their hands towards their own looking for the source. That was when his eyes fell on the tiny blue light peeking through the pocket of her red dress.

Although he knew the answer, his eyebrows furrowed in question. "Whats that?" he asked, pointing towards her pocket, just as she pulled it out.

"Ino," Sakura gasped as her eyes widened in alarm.

*Oh fuck* a voice definitely not Ino's resounded, and Sakura's hands rushed to click the only button on the device to shut it down.

"That pig bugged me because I was not telling her anything about you," she said, embarrassed.

"That voice was certainly Naruto's. You have nothing to feel sorry about," he sighed.

Sakura's hand went to scratch her ear as she let out a giggle. "So, now we are actually alone huh?", she said looking at the sight.

"Yeah", he whispered silently, as his hand went back for hers.

.

.

As Sasuke tugged her back onto the log, he steadily pulled her closer until her head rested against his shoulder, and she relaxed into him with a sigh. As he thought, heavenly.

"I think the universe has a way of giving us exactly what we want… don't you think so?", she said after silence had begun to settle in.

"How?" he asked in response.

"I mean, soulmates being the biggest thing, but, you wanted to get to know your soulmate better and it gave you a chance right, a few hours? And I just wanted to know if mine had a heart inside all that stone cold gray, and it gave me that chance when I looked for an ID."

Maybe what she said held true, Sasuke thought, as he shifted to get a better look at her. Mirroring his actions, she raised her head to look at him as well. "I'm thankful for it today," she said, "I don't think I've ever thanked it before," she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

Wasn't that the most beautiful notion ever, he considered. The universe giving them exactly what they wanted, what they needed. But perhaps, only she would think to ever thank it. And that was the most beautiful thing about her.

"I think….' he began, although unsure where it led.

"Hm?" she turned, as her emerald eyes focused once again on him. Only this time, he saw so much more. The flecks of a deeper shade blossoming in her irises, the yellow of city lights reflected in them, and most of all, the way stood out even in the darkness, making him feel serene all the way through.

All these years, he lived as close as he could to lush evergreen forests, always wondering why that was the only place he felt home. Only today did it seem the answer had come.

It was because he was always surrounded by the green of her eyes. And now that he looked into them, he knew anywhere with her would be home.

His breath hitched as he started again.

"I think… I am falling in love with you", he confessed unabashedly. There was nowhere else he would rather be, that made him this calm and at peace. Her eyes shone with a glow only he could understand. Or perhaps anyone would with the blush that followed his words to adorn her cheeks. And then, was it a trick of the light or did her gaze truly flicker to his lips? Nevertheless, he nodded in affirmation of his own words. "Yeah. I'm definitely falling in love with you" he repeated, nodding along to himself, as he decided never to stop looking into her eyes. And then he found himself slowly dipping his head towards her.

"Well. Then that makes two of us, Sasuke-kun", she replied, reaching up to the back of his neck, giving in.

She dissolved into his kiss as soon as she fell into the deep waters of his ocean heart. He tasted like coming home after a long time. Like he was the only thing that could quench a thirst she had felt for the past 25 years. All of it in an instant. Between a hundred gentle touches, a thousand electric sparks, lingered a million unspoken promises. In his scent she was home. In his eyes, she was home. In his smile she was home. In his arms, she was home. In his heartbeat, she was home. And she would be there for a lifetime and many more.

A/N : I hope it was okay. Writing two people having a conversation while they are enjoying scenic beauty has never been my forte. Let me know how it went?
