It was the night of the 9 tailed foxes' attack on the hidden leaf village. The 4th Hokage Minato Namikaze and his Wife Kushina Uzumaki had sacrificed themselves to save their son Naruto Namikaze from the 9 tailed fox. while their other older 5 year old son Kenji Namikaze sat and watched his parents sacrifice themselves to save Naruto. The 3rd Hokage Hiruzin Sarutobi and his Anbu guard had caught up and grieved the loss of his successor. His last wish was for his son to be seen as a hero. Naruto had blond hair with 3 whiskers on each cheek as did Kenji
"Minato…I'm sorry I couldn't be their sooner" He said as he shed a tear
He picked up a crying Naruto and put his hand on the shoulder of Kenji and body flickered away
Kakashi looked at his dead sensei and shed a tear as he vowed he would watch over his and Kushina's two sons faithfully while looking up at the full moon.
With Obito
He was laughing at the irony of indirectly killing his beloved sensei.
"Hahahahahahahahaha, that foolish man. He thought he would get out of it alive. I'll be after that damned 9 tails again soon" he said
Zetsu rose out of the ground next to Obito
"So much for getting the 9 tails" Zetsu said in sarcasm
"All in due time Zetsu. We have dealt the leaf village a serious blow and we will be back for him soon enough" He said in a victorious tone.
Soon he saw a man with long brown hair in a black cloak as he looked at him with red eyes with 3 tomoe to his own but he had a small star like shuriken in the middle.
"Did you get the 9 tails?" the man asked
Obito looked at him in annoyance as he answered
"Unfortunately no. But, I let the beast loose on the village, killing the 4th Hokage in the process" he replied
The man's eyes narrowed
"You lost to that man eh? Well at least he's dead. He would have been a huge problem in the future though"
With Hiruzen a few hours later
He sat at his desk while rocking baby Naruto to sleep and Kenji sat on the couch across from the Hokage's desk. Suddenly Danzo, Homura, and Koharu came walking in.
"Hiruzen, we've heard of what happened to the 4th Hokage And your taking up of his position and his children" Danzo said with a stoned face
"We wanted to ask what you planned to do with his children" Koharu asked
Homura stood quietly as he looked at the other two in question as to why they asked about the man's children immediately. He thought they were coming to ask him of his successor.
"I will be bringing up what to do with them of at the council meeting we'll be attending tomorrow" he said with irritation
Danzo narrowed his eyes as he spoke
"There's no need for that. I would like to put them through my care" Danzo replied
"Yes, the two children will be put through emotional training and especially the jinchuriki will be trained into a weapon" Koharu said
"That was not my intention, you know as well as I that root has been disbanded in our mutual agreement" Danzo said dryly
Ken looked at them in fear as he didn't want to go with these three old people as he shivered from the oppressive aura they put off. Luckily for him and his little brother, Hiruzen smashed a fist onto his desk and said
"Regardless, you will not have your way with either of them. Their caretakers will be decided at the council meeting in the next hour. You may ask for whatever you want then" he spoke in authority
This brought the desired effect of getting them to quiet down. Soon a baby Naruto began to cry as they all grimaced at the boy's fierce cries. They looked to see an agitated Kenji Namikaze as they turned around to leave Danzo rested his eyes on Naruto before he left out of the door followed by the other two. Soo Hiruzen took a deep breath and looked at Ken.
"It's alright Ken. I won't let any ill will befall you or young Naruto. He said as he stood picking up Naruto and gesturing to Ken to walk along with him.
As they walked Kenji could feel his heart drop into his stomach. But he kept faith in the old Hokage as he had been a family friend and the one to make his father Hokage after the 3rd great ninja war. As they walked into the hallway they saw the village admin glancing at them, realizing who they were as they saw young Ken Namikaze the son of the 4th Hokage.
He heard whispers as he saw the looks full of sorrow that bore down on him. He understood the pity of the office staff but he grew irritated as he felt them looking at Naruto in question. It was none of their business of who the boy was.
Hiruzen walked them into a room with a Dog masked anbu who as soon as the Hokage walked in bowed to the man.
"Dog, I ask that you watch over young Ken and his brother Naruto"
"Yes sir" the silver haired jounin responded
Soon Hiruzen walked out of the room and Ken looked at Do knowingly

Hiruzen made his way to the council meeting chamber. He took his time on the way there as thought of what to do with the children. According to Minato and Kushina's will, the care of the children was left to Jiraiya should anything happen to them, but the toad sage wasn't around, and why would he be? Who would've thought that the 4th would up and die in just a few years of his term serving. He was annoyed at having to go and cancel a meeting with the Daimyo as he would be visiting hoping to see Minato but finding out it would be Hiruzen. This would be a disaster to send out to the world that the 4th Hokage was dead. The hidden stone would have a field day and try to mobilize against them. At least that is what he feared, but he was sure that wouldn't happen as he thought of a way to maintain peace in the ninja world.
As he postponed the Daimyo's visit he went to his office to grab a smoke before the meeting. He sat down and grabbed his tobacco pipe putting some leaf in it and using a snap of his fingers to spark a fire jutsu lighting the tobacco and taking a long hit.
"Hooaa, shit this is not good." he said as he took another hit. He had a few ideas of what to do with the children but he had to narrow his options. He would either send the children with Jiraiya, or keep them away from all clans so as not to show favoritism. He rubbed one side of his temples while holding his tobacco pipe.
He wanted Jiraiya to step up to the plate, but he knew that his student had a responsibility but he had a feeling that this wouldn't happen. He had a brilliant idea as he sat his pipe down and began to write down a message to his other student that he was on decent terms. He quickly wrote the message and walked to the messenger bird carriages to send out the message.
Soon, he had to make his way to the council meeting as he lowered his head in resignation to what he may have to let Kenji and Naruto live through. As he thought of the impending meeting with the clan heads and the civilian council he realized he would have to tell them that Naruto had the 9 tails sealed inside of him. He gulped in his mind as he tightened his fist till his knuckles turned white.
A female cat masked Anbu appeared in front of him
"Lord Hokage, it's time"
Hiruzen nodded as he stood and he and his guard body flickered in a flock of leaves as they reappeared in the council meeting room. All the clan heads and civilian council members were sitting there expectantly. He sat down and looked around before saying;
"We are gathered here to speak on how to move on after the attack on our village from the 9 tailed fox" he said
A council member raised their hand and Hiruzen nodded
"What has happened to Lord 4th?" he asked
"He passed away defeating the fox" Hiruzen said
There was a moment of silence before the murmurs began to spread around the room. Hirzuen cleared his throat to keep the room silent.
"The Minato and Kushina have left behind their two children"
Shikaku Nara narrowed his eyes
"So that's what it was" he said
Hiruzen nodded
"What do you mean?" a civilian council member asked
"He and Kushina were expecting a second child. Pregnancy causes a jinchuriki's seal to loosen according to him and Lord Jiraiya" Shikaku responded
"So his wife was the reason the fox attacked the village?" another random council member asked
Hiruzen shook his head but as he went to speak Danzo beat him to it
"Actually, the fox showed it was manipulated by a sharingan" he said as he looked at Fugaku
"What are you insinuating? You yourself ordered the Uchiha to stay back while the beast attacked the village" he responded
"And yet you were still able to take control of the beast" Danzo retorted
"Che, that's preposterous!"
"Actually… he isn't lying, several members of my clansman said they saw a sharingan pupil in the foxes eyes. But I did not see any Uchiha on the front lines. Could you have a traitor in the mix?" Hiashi Hyuga said
Fugaku was a mix of annoyed and concerned as he replied
"I'm not sure myself. To be able to control the 9 tails requires the mangekyo sharingan. And the only one who could do that would be me. Only I and the military police were held back by Root agents and Danzo" he replied casting a cold gaze at Danzo
"Enough! We will not be casting blame upon anyone!" Hiruzen yelled
They all fell silent as they got back on topic of the meeting.
"Yes, who will be taking care of the 4th Hokage's children?" Danzo spoke up
They all looked at him sharply.
"The Inuzuka would happily take in Ken and Naruto" Tsume said
Before anyone else could add onto that proclamation.
"I'm afraid I can't allow any of you all to take him. You see, Naruto is the 9 tails jinchuriki. It would cause an imbalance in power of the village's clans."
All the ninja clan heads nodded in understanding.
"Shall we cast him out?" A civilian asked while others agreed
"Yes, get rid of the demon!" they began to chant
"Silence!" Hiruzen yelled
"They will be under my care until Jiraiya returns to take a look at his seal and then he shall retain custody over them as their guardian."
The civilians quieted down in acceptance and they moved on with the meeting
The next few days passed,
Hiruzen walked into his living room to see a tall and well-built man in adulthood with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that he usually ties back into a ponytail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There were red lines under his eyes which extended further down his face as he got older, going all the way to the bottom by the time he was an adult. By the time he was middle-aged, he developed wrinkles around the corners of his mouth and a wart on the left side of his nose, sitting on his couch with a melancholy look on his face.
"So it's true?" Jiraiya asked as he saw his sensei in Hokage robes
"Yes Jiraiya. He died sealing the fox into Naruto. He and Ken have been staying with me" he said
There was a moment of silence as they lamented Minato's passing.
"He and Kushina left the care of his children to you. But in case you chose not to step up I've made arrangements" Hiruzen said
"Arrangements? What do you mean?" Jiraiya asked
"I've sent out for Tsunade to return for the boys as she is their next of kin, being a Senju and the daughter of Lady Mito"
Jiraiya looked at Hiruzen in annoyance
"I could never allow them to be taken by these villagers. Nor will I let them be prey for Danzo" he said with a determined look on his face.
He got up and looked out of the window as he saw the sun rise kiss the village and the forestation around it. He tightened his fists as he made his decision.
"Well that's nice to hear and all, but I got word back from Tsunade that she would be on the way back to the village for the boy as well. So perhaps the both of you can have dual custody, while raising him" Hiruzen said
Later on in the morning,
The two sat in the office as Jiraiya spoke about traveling with the two children. Suddenly, they heard the door open to see a fair-skinned woman with brown eyes and straight blonde hair that parts above her forehead. Her hair has shoulder-length bangs that frame her face and the rest reaches her lower back. During her childhood and through her young-adult years she wore her hair in a high ponytail.
Behind her was a fair-skinned woman of average height and slender build with onyx eyes and jet-black hair; her hair is straight and shoulder-length with bangs that cover her ears and frame her face. Normally, Shizune is seen in a long bluish-black kimono with white trimmings, held closed by a white obi, and open-toed sandals with low heels.
"Ah, Tsunade, you've come."
Tsunade had a scowl on her face as she spoke
"I know you're not giving this pervert custody when I just got here."
"Now, now my Lady please be patient with Lord Hokage"
Hiruzen gave a smile as he spoke his next words carefully.
"Perhaps you could both raise him while in the village"
He knew that Tsunade would react how she did but now she was at a crossroad.
"Fine! This is for family, so it doesn't bother me. I'll stay here if it means taking care of my family" she said without hesitation
Jiraiya nodded as well but looked at Tsunade in surprise
"These boys need parents. she and I are the closest things they have to that." He said
Hiruzen gave a devious chuckle inside as this was easier than he'd thought. As he nodded to his students' words, he pulled out the adoption papers for them to sign. As they did, Tsunade spoke up again
"No perving around the village dammit! Or I'll break you!" The Senju said with a deadly serious gaze at Jiraiya
"Tch, whatever it takes to keep a stable home around Naruto and Kenji" he said resolutely
Tsunade and Shizune looked at him in shock as he was deadly serious about the two boys.
They nodded and Hiruzen went to pick up the boys.
"Oh this must be your disciple. What's your name?" He said in genuine tone instead of being leturous
"I'm Shizune. And lady Tsunade has told me so much about you."
"Oh, and what has she told you"
Shizune sweat dropped as Tsunade gave him a deadpanned gaze.
"Well, that you've trained under the toads, are the best spy she knows and you trained Lord 4th"
Unknown Tsunade felt a weight off her shoulders as she was glad.
"What made you decide to stay out of all the times you could've come back?" He asked
"I… can't help but think… Kushina would be alive if I'd stayed. This is…all I can do for her now" she said with a down casted gaze
Jiraiya laid a hand on her shoulder to console her.
"Don't worry…I feel the same way about Minato"
As he removed his hand, Hiruzen walked in holding Naruto with Ken walking in behind him. Tsunade's face brightened as she saw the boys walk in with her two new adopted sons. She kneeled down to meet Ken who looked at her in confusion then recognition.
"You're Lady Tsunade. What're you doing here?" He asked
"I'm here to take care of you and your brother," she said in a tender voice with a gentle smile.
He looked up at Jiraiya and grinned
"Uncle!" He yelled running up and jumping to hug the man
Tsunade had a downcast face with an anime shadow as Shizune rubbed her teachers shoulder in comfort of him favoring Jiraiya.
"What're you doing here Uncle Jiraiya?" He asked
"Tsunade and I have come back to take care of you," he said, returning the hug and patting his back.
He began to cry into the man shoulder as he hugged his Uncle/father figure tighter
"I…knew you'd… come back for us" he said sniffling throughout his sentences.
Jiraiya gave a sad smile as he gained a determined look in his eyes.
"Of course kiddo, I won't let anything happen to you"
Tsunade looked at Jiraiya in surprise. He had a more serious tone about him as hugged the boy. Perhaps there was more to him than he thought. Suddenly Tsunade found Hiruzen standing next to her with a baby Naruto looking at her in curiosity. Hiruzen handed her the bundle as he began to make baby noises of excitement to see another person. He even cracked a smile as he looked up at her. She looked at Naruto, then at Jiraiya who stared at her with a serious gaze.
'Perhaps this will work out after all' she thought, locking eyes with the Toad Sage.
"Now onto his Jinchuriki status, I believe it's best to keep it from the public and I plan to make a special law to speak on it"
Tsunade and Jiraiya gave him a deadpan look. Ken and Shizune left the room to let them speak.
"Let me tell you why that's a horrible idea sensei" Jiraiya said
Hiruzen looked in shock at what he heard but he stay silent to listen.
"I'll take your silence as a que to go on. First off, hiding why he's looked at strangely by the village could be detrimental to him and breed distrust. Next we should let the villagers have their own perspective of him instead of just having him overprotected from his home. Next I believe that those who got to class with him will learn the difference between the container and the beast, after all the children in his age bracket will accept him as he grows and shows who he is."
"Not to mention, he'd eventually need to learn how to use the beast's chakra anyway when he got older." Tsunade added
Hiruzen had to concede in agreement as he was debunked of his presumptions.
"Now, where will we be staying?" Jiraiya asked
"The Senju compound" Hiruzen answered readily
"That place is still around?" Tsunade asked
"Of course, why don't we go and see it" Hiruzen said as they left his home

Danzo Shimura walked into his clan compound to see his granddaughter Akino Shimura in a crib with her father Jinsuke Shimura asleep in a rocking chair next to it. He realized his son had not been allowed to fight in the battle. He had no idea of his mother Nojiko Shimura dying with Biwako Sarutobi in delivering the second son of the 4th Hokage.
As he walked through his home, he looked at his sleeping granddaughter in the crib and had a ghost of a smile on his face. Perhaps he was growing soft, thinking of the will of fire Hiruzen spoke of
so fondly.
Then he thought of Fugaku's words as he turned to go find Itachi and Shisui. If Fugaku was the only one with the mangekyo he would have to set aside his pride and work with the man to find out whomever went rogue. He loathed to admit it but he knew the Uchiha were to valuable to throw under the bus. He also had been offered a surgery from Orochimaru to transplant some dead Uchiha Sharingans into an arm of the first Hokage's cells onto his missing arm but he declined. He would not sink so low as to become scum. He hated to admit it, but even the second Hokage whom he looked up to had passed down to him the will of fire and he would uphold it with Hiruzen to protect the village.
He loathed to think like this, but after his granddaughter was born, there was a change inside of him that he couldn't explain. Seeing his daughter inlaw pass away to bring his grandchild into the world hurt him. But seeing his son have a family for a short time after the 3rd shinobi war coupled with being a family man had changed him. He would not go back to his evil ways. He even disbanded the root program and chose to work with the Anbu and the Uchiha police force. Working with the ladder was a major challenge for him but he swallowed his pride and bared it. Now he had to do some work in the shadows to protect what family he had left. His son and granddaughter would know peace for as long he drew breath. He walked outside far enough away from his home not to wake his family
"Fuu, Torune!"
Fuu Yamanaka and Torune Aburame, his personally selected guards appeared.
"Yes, lord Danzo" Fuu spoke up for the 2
He decided to make his way to the Uchiha compound instead of summoning the two younger Uchiha.
"We shall be going to the Uchiha compound"
"Yes sir" Both replied
The disappeared in a body flicker

Fugaku sat near the river in the Uchiha compound where all Uchiha practiced the fire ball Jutsu. He pondered Hiashi's question and Danzo's words as he thought of what was said about the fox.
Suddenly an Uchiha clan member came up to him.
"Lord Fugaku, Danzo Shimura has asked for an audience with you" the man said
He narrowed his eyes as he got up to find Danzo.
'What could he want? If he comes with accusations I'll have him thrown out of the compound'
He saw Danzo at the gate with two guards next to him. He walked up with a callous expression on his face.
"What brings you here Danzo?" He said in a neutral voice.
Danzo looked him in the eyes and spoke with a serious tone.
"I would like to lend my support in hunting down the rogue Uchiha. I'm also willing to ask Hiruzen to move your clan closer to the village in an area of your choosing on the condition that we work together to find this man as soon as possible. There is no guarantee that he won't come for the fox again"
Fugaku looked at him in suspicion
"Why the change of heart all of a sudden? Don't you have great distrust for the Uchiha just like lord Second?"
"I do, but in my old age I've come to see things differently. I have recently had a grandchild in the last few months. I cannot afford to let them die due to my own foolish ambitions" he said
Fugaku looked at him with a steady gaze. He remembered that Danzo shut down his root program in favor of working with the police force and the Hokages Anbu.
"Humph, so it took the fox breaking its seal to convince you to lift your suspicions?" He said with a calculating gaze
Danzo kept a stoic face as he spoke with finality
"If you truly wish to coordinate with me, then you will trade information with me on the matter and withhold no information from me or my officers"
Danzo met his negotiations with his own
"You will do likewise and you will not show mercy when we catch the culprit either" Danzo said with authority
"I will send Fuu, Torune and another one of my personal guards to work with your clansman. We will speak to Hiruzen later today to finalize whatever reservations you may have."
They shook hands as they nodded and turned to depart from one another's presence.

With Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Shizune, Ken, Naruto and Tsunade:
They had been given the old Senju compound. To their surprise, he had the place cleaned up for them.
"So, now that we'll be living together, we'll need some ground rules. No peeping for your research in the village and don't you dare turn Ken or Naruto into a pervert either. One of us will be home with the children at all times"
Hiruzen and Shizune sweat dropped as Jiraiya held his hands up to placate Tsunade as she doubled on his research in the village.
"Fine, fine I said won't. Besides Kenji and Naruto are more important than any of that" he said as he got her to relax
*Ahem* Hiruzen coughed as he spoke up to speak with the two. He also nodded to Shizune to take baby Naruto and Kenji to look around the compound. They stepped into the large backyard and stood near the end as they looked down at the forest between the other side of the village. They were a ways away from the village in the clan district. The sun shone down on them and illuminated the village.
"Now that you're both back in the village, I'd like to ask if you to would go back into the field"
Tsunade shook her head in defiance.
"I came back to raise those children. The most I would do is run the hospital and help upgrade the medic program. Other than that I have no intentions of stepping back into the field."
He looked at Jiraiya who had a smirk on his face
"Don't worry sensei, I'll keep up my intelligence network, but I'll be in the village more to raise the boys with Tsunade and Shizune. So I'll be falling back a bit because of that. Speaking of which I've caught wind of some alarming news"
They looked at him in anticipation
"There's a group gathering information on Jinchuriki. It seems as if that's all they're doing, but I plan to keep an eye on them. I also found out that Orochimaru is a part of their ranks as well." He said with a scowl
"Che, figures the snake would join them. He's been bitter ever since he hasn't been elected as the 4th Hokage" Tsunade said crossing her arms under her bust
Hiruzen rubbed his temples as he sighed in annoyance at his old student.
"Jiraiya, take some time off to get reacquainted with the village and acquainted with the boys. For now we will put the search for him on pause so that we may regain our standing as a village for the land of fire and build a family for these children." he said
They nodded as they saw Kenji walk outside with Shizune holding Naruto.
They spent the day buying furniture and appliances for the house along with food for the night

Later that night, Jiraiya had been sitting outside writing his new novel, with Kenji asleep lying against his back. He smirked at hearing the boy snoring in peace. He reminded him of Minato. Kenji had been begging Jiraiya to play ninja with him and he figured it would be good for the boy's stealth abilities. He found out that the kid was a natural. He figured he'd begin teaching him the basics of stealth, taijutsu, basic sealing kanji and a few chakra control exercises.
With Tsunade, she had been holding a baby Naruto with a wide smile on her face as she sat on a couch in the living room near a lamp. Naruto had a contagious baby laugh as she cooed at him. He had grabbed her hair earlier and she knew not to keep her pigtails in reach of his hands. He had a strong grip for a child.
Shizune had been preparing dinner for the family. She was all smiles like everyone else as she was happy to be home in the leaf village. She was preparing grilled salmon, rice and mixed vegetables. Tsunade was the healer and she was the cook. She had never seen her master so happy. She knew that coming home would be good for her and she also knew that's why Tsunade begrudgingly agreed to come back as well.

Midnight,
Jiraiya sat atop Minato's head wondering if things would have gone differently if he was there with his student. He was tormented with thoughts of guilt for not being there for his student.
"I won't fail you again my son. I'll take care of them both and make sure they surpass you and Kushina" he said with confidence.
A few weeks later Jiraiya met Kenji in the early morning, instructing him on the basic fighting katas.
"Twist your arms when you punch forward. Don't swing. Here I'll go through the moves with you."
He got in the stance with him and began to punch with him. He went in slow motion to show the boy the correct stances. Tsunade sat on the back breastfeeding Naruto as she watched them practicing. They both heard the door open as the heard Shizune's voice.
Lady Tsunade, Lord Jiraiya, I'm back! I qualified as a jounin Lady Tsunade.'' She said as she walked in with her new special jounin vest on.
"That's great Shizune, looks like you'll be going on missions soon" Tsunade replied
Jiraiya and Kenji stopped at he sweat dropped at her saying
"Hey Shizune your can call me Jiraiya. None of that Lord stuff. Especially since we share a home. We're practically a family now haha" he said with a genuine smile
"Th-thank you sir" she bowed causing Jiraiya and Tsunade to deadpan
"Anyways, I'm gonna go get changed," she said as she walked back in
"Hey Uncle, are you and aunt Tsuna gonna get married?" The blond child asked
Jiraiya had no answer for him as he looked to Tsunade for help on that. She gave him a stoic stare saying don't you dare
"Well…I won't say it's impossible. But that's not a concern for now" he said
He looked back to see Tsunade cooing at Naruto, and sighed in relief at her not giving him a death stare.
"Oh, well I think you guys look good together." Kenji said with a childish smile.
This caused Tsunade to look at Jiraiya for a few seconds and think of them as a couple. To her surprise, she didn't hate the idea, but she decided to say nothing as Kenji shrugged and got back to training.
Jiraiya blushed at the thought as well but decided not to kid himself.
'She'd never go for me,' he said as he got back to training with Kenji

Later on evening time,
Shizune was out shopping for baby food for baby Naruto when she bumped into her old friend Genma Shiranui.
"Yo Shizune, how've you been?" He asked
"Genma, it's been so long. I'm good"
"I heard you were back for good this time" he said grinning with a senbon in his teeth
"Yes, it's great to be back instead of staying on the move all the time"
"I heard you became a jounin. Welcome to the club" he said with a smirk
"Hahaha, I actually thought I'd be chunin level, but I suppose my training with lady Tsunade paid off"
"Boy I'll say. I heard you're living with her and Lord 4th's sons."
She nodded with a bit of unease but she hid it well. But to her surprise he gave a sincere smile.
"I'm glad Kenji and his newborn brother will have you to look after them. Lord 4th taught me a lot and saved my neck a few times in the field as a genin hehe" he said rubbing the back of his head sheepishly
She gave a genuine smile at him and said
"I'm glad to hear you say that. Most people think he's a monster and a reincarnation of the 9 tails or some form of nonsense" she replied
Genma shook his head
"The villagers are looking for something or someone to blame out of grief or ignorance. While I understand, I can't justify it. I believe in due time they'll see him differently as he grows up"
Shizune nodded her head in affirmation
"Well, on a lighter note, maybe we could catch up some time"
"I'd like that" she said as she began to blush
And then they parted ways smiling at one another.
Hokage's office,
The Hokage sat with Danzo, Jiraiya and Fugaku
"So we can deduce that there were some Uchiha who disobeyed Danzo's orders, but due to the information Fugaku shared, only he has the power to take control of the 9 tails" Jiraiya said sitting on a couch in the Hokage's office
"Correct" Fugaku said
"And the fox seemed like it just appeared in the village, there was no sign of it tracking it's way through the forest towards us?" Jiraiya continued
"Yes, Fuu and Torune concluded that in the reports they brought to me." Danzo said
"As did Kakashi, Tenzo and Itachi in their reports to me." Hiruzen said as he lit his tobacco pipe.
Jiraiya was a bit miffed
"Same with me, the toads I sent out didn't receive anything either"
"So, we're missing something." Fugaku said
Suddenly Hiruzen's eyes widened
"My wife and Danzo's along with several anbu were killed. From the way their corpses looked it seemed as if they were dead before Minato and Kushina. At least that's what the coroner and several surgeons said after an autopsy"
"But there hasn't been a rogue Uchiha that could control the 9 tails sense-"
"Madara Uchiha" Fugaku said cutting of Danzo
"Preposterous, he's been long dead. Lord first saw to that" Jiraiya said
"No it's not. It's possible he survived. The Izanami can bring one back from the dead, making even death an illusion" he said with unease in his voice
"Even so, it's been over 60 years since he's been dead" Hiruzen said
"Well, if anyone can find him, it'll be me." Jiraiya said
"No, you stay with the boys and Tsunade. Leave this to use Jiraiya" Hiruzen said
"No worries sensei, I'll have to toads scout out around the land of fire for me and bring back anything odd they see" he replied with ease
"In the meantime, we'll tighten up village security to make sure we know who's coming in and out" Hiruzen replied

Mountains graveyard,
A man in an orange swirl mask with short hair stood with, a man with long brown hair in a black cloak as he looked at him with red eyes with 3 tomoe to his own but he had a small star like shuriken in the middle.
"Sosetsu, it looks like we've hit a snag. The leaf village still has the 9 tails and they've recalled the remaining loyal Sannin as well."
"Humph, we'll need to storm their village. Who should we bring Madara?"
"I say we let them think they're safe for a few years as we build up the akatsuki. Right now I've heard from my inside man that's informed me they're tightening up security around the border and the village. Even Danzo Shimura has thrown his hat into the ring in helping the Uchiha. That coupled with the Anbu of the 3rd isn't good. I believe we'll need some help in getting rid of them all."
"Who do you suggest?" Sosetsu asked
"My inside man is connected to one of our members"
Sosetsu's eye's narrowed
"One of Orochimaru's pawns I see"
"Hmhmhmhm, yes and he's been quite useful in giving out information on the village's moves. We should be thankful that he's volunteered to join our cause due to his interest in Nagato's Rinnegan" said Madara
"Humph, I suppose it's a good thing to wait. My impatience almost got the best of me."
"In due time, we'll have them. Not to worry. Our world of peace is getting closer."

6 months later,
Tsunade was leaving the hospital and humming on her way home. She had found herself enjoying her time living with Jiraiya. He had been doing very well with Naruto and Kenji and he hadn't crossed over any boundaries that she set. She hadn't caught him peeping nor had he tried to make a move on her. He was also fairly decent to Shizune as well, treating her like a daughter figure. She figured he'd been doing this to get on her good side but as the days went by, she realized that he really meant what he said about taking care of these children.
As she got home she saw Shizune getting ready to leave.
"Oh, Shizune, are you off on a mission?"
"Yes, I'm going on a C-rank to escort a merchant to sea country. I'm a bit excited to be back doing missions." she said
"Be safe out there, and keep your eyes peeled." Tsunade said as she hugged her apprentice/daughter figure
"Yes mam, of course" she said hugging her mentor back
They broke the embrace and then she was off to the village west gate.
Tsunade went on to enter the house, to see Jiraiya holding a baby Naruto as the blonde giggled from being lifted as Jiraiya made silly noises to make him laugh.
"And the kit is flying. Pshhh" the man said as he carefully moved the blond around,
Tsunade smiled genuinely at Jiraiya as she sat down in front of him while playing with the blond baby.
"Hey, how's your day been?" she asked as if she didn't know
"It was pretty good. I just got back from a C-rank escort mission to the fire capital. And now I'm taking a break from writing my next novel and playing with Naruto" he said gleefully
"That's good. Was there any trouble on the way?"
"Nothing I couldn't handle. Just a group of bandits. I did however find out that Gato the notorious shipping magnet had been robbing nobles to try and make himself known in the fire capital. But he was nowhere near the bandies that attacked, so it's my word against his. I was able to find out that he was operating out of the Land of waves and out of the Land of Rice Patties." he said narrowing his eyes
"Did you let sensei know?" she asked
"Yea, he's sending out a squad today. I believe that's Shizune's mission. Do you think it'll be too much for her?" he said
"She'll be fine. I've trained her for these types of missions" she said with a confident smile
He looked at her with a knowing grin
"That's good. At least one of our students is doing well" he said looking out the window with a content yet sad smile
Then Naruto threw up on his shirt
"Ugh. Well that happens" he said with a deadpanned anime style face
Tsunade laughed as she took baby Naruto from him and sat the blonde in his crib rocking him back and forth. Jiraiya went to change his shirt. She began to think of how she liked to see Jiraiya being a regular guy instead of a pervert. She grinned to herself and thought,
'I could get used to this'
As he walked back down stares she noticed he had his hair down instead of in a ponytail and she wished he did that more.
"So what do you have planned since you're off now?"
She thought about it.
"Well since you're here and I'm off work I figured we could take Naruto and go pick up Kenji from school together. Maybe go grab dinner with the kids. It's a shame Shizune isn't here though" he said
He walked over to grab his red Haori putting it on. As he does, Tsunade picks up baby Naruto and they both walk over to the front and put their shoes on. They lock up and set out to go get Kenji.
With Kenji,
He sat at the ninja academy reading a book on level 1 sealing. He had been practicing his kanji as he learned from every 3 chapters. He was halfway through the book and he wanted to understand sealing like his biological mother and father.
He had gotten deep into the book without noticing how much time passed. Suddenly he heard a familiar cough. He looked up to see Jiraiya, Tsunade carrying a peaceful baby Naruto. He folded the page and closed the book, throwing it in his kunai pouch. He got up and ran towards them yelling out,
"Uncle Jiraiya, Aunt Tsunade!"
He ran into Jiraiya's arms and hugged him with a vigor he thought he would never have again. He broke embrace to hug Tsunade and baby Naruto as well. He held his arms out and Tsunade let him hold baby Naruto.
"Hey buddy, did you miss your big brother" he cooed as they began to walk away to have a family dinner.
They walked to the higher end side of town and came upon a restaurant called "The Golden Leaf". They walked in and those dining looked up to see the Sannin together with the Namikaze boys.
Some looked in awe to see the Sannin, others looked in fear at Naruto. Jiraiya scoffed at them mentally but kept up his fatherly mask as did Tsunade with her motherly mask. Kenji looked around with a smile at the villagers then back at Naruto who was making funny faces at him. A waiter came to seat them and they were at a family booth with Naruto sitting in a baby chair near Jiraiya. Kenji sat next to Tsunade as she sat between him and Naruto.
The waiter had brought them water as they had asked for time to choose their order.
"So, what did you learn in school today?" Tsunade asked looking at Kenji with a smile
"Not much, you and Uncle have taught me everything they're teaching right now. But Iruka sensei gave me some scrolls on basic chakra control."
"Oh really? Like what?" Jiraiya asked
"Just a couple leaf exercises, like making it levitate and tree walking"
"Oh you don't say, we were thinking of moving you up to tree walking as well. I'll have to thank him" Tsunade said with a thoughtful smile
Kenji looked at Naruto who was playing with a baby toy. He smiled at him, then he looked down at his menu with a determined gaze.
"What's on your mind kiddo?" Jiraiya asked
"I…need to be strong for him… I know we won't be kids forever, so I'll need to be able to fight and defend myself and Naruto when you all aren't around." he said solemnly
Tsunade ruffled his hair and rubbed his back in a motherly gesture. He looked up at her and she spoke
"We'll make sure you're ready. Don't you worry" she said with a cheerful smile that drew him in to smile with tears coming out of his eyes.
Jiraiya gave a fatherly smile as well.
"C-can I call you all…mom and d-dad…?" He asked through sniffles
Their eyes widened as they realized his question
"Sure kiddo. We're a family now after all" Jiraiya said.
Tsunade gave him a bone crushing hug as she began to shed tears as well
"Don't worry. I know I can't replace Kushina, but I'll be the best mother I can be" she said hugging him
"C-can't… breathe…mom" Kenji rasped
Realizing she was crushing him, she let him go and gave him a kiss on his forehead. She looked at Jiraiya to see him smiling at the two.
Soon the waiter came up and they ordered their food and had a good family night out

Later that night, Jiraiya sat on the couch sipping a cup of Seishu mixed with plum wine since he and Tsunade put the kids to sleep and she herself went to bed. He was thinking about the family outing they had earlier and he enjoyed it. He and Tsunade had been on good terms after the first 3 weeks of bickering.
'Maybe this dad stuff will be good for me after all' he thought
While he was in the middle of his cup, Tsunade walked out and copped a squat next to him. She was nursing her own cup of Takeda Whisky.
"So, what's keeping you up?" she asked
"Not much, just thinking that maybe fatherhood is the best thing that ever happened to me" he said
She looked out of the window towards the backyard and took a sip of her whisky, then she said
"I was thinking that too"
He looked over at her, she was wearing a lavender kimono with a white obi wrapped around the waist. He was careful not to stare to long
"What? About me or about you?" he asked with a smirk in his voice
"Both" she replied in a nonchalant tone
There was a long silence between the two. Jiraiya had gotten lost in his thoughts staring into his cup. Tsunade looked up at him, wondering what was going through his head.
"Jiraiya, how do you feel about us living together, and raising these children? Do you wish you could have just taken them and left the village" she asked
"I doubt sensei would have let me. And honestly, I think this is the best thing for them. I'm glad we can make this possible for them" he said with a smile
"You're right. It is the best thing we could do for them. And I wouldn't have it any other way either. We've been doing good with each other. I'm surprised that you've behaved yourself so well. It makes me wonder if you have any ulterior motives." she said
"Haha, I believe that'll happen if it's meant to. Forcing anything would be foolish. I'm more focused on the environment we make for the kids. I…recently got a prophecy from the toads about them"
"And what would that be?"
"He said, I would mentor two child who would either bring peace or destruction to the world" he said
"Well…I don't think you'll send them down the wrong path. Besides,"
She scooted closer to him and put her hand on his and held it
"They'll have both of us here for them"
Jiraiya looked at her hand on his and smiled, turning his hand over to hold hers and sat his cup down with a genuine smile
"You're right. The two of us are their guides and we're a team"
They looked into each other's eyes. Tsunade wasn't used to this version of Jiraiya, but she liked it. She reached out and rubbed his face as she got closer and kissed him. Their breath tasted of alcohol and Tsunade faught with her tongue to enter Jiraiya's mouth. They began to taste each others mouths. Jiraiya began to move to get on top of her. She began to raise her dress and opened her legs to show she wasn't wearing anything under. The kiss deepened as they began intercourse. Jiraiya felt his devious side take over and he thought,
'This is gonna make for great research'
The next morning,
Kenji walked down to see a shirtless JIraiya and Tsunade sleeping under a blanket. He felt as though he should let them sleep, then Naruto began to cry, waking them both up as the blonde ran to his brother, only to find out that his diaper needed to be changed. The man walked in and saw the blond grabbing a diaper but he held out his hand. Kenji handed the pamper Jiraiya proceeded to change Naruto's diaper.
Later that day,
Kenji began to train with Jiraiya in the katas for basic taijutsu. It was the weekend and he didn't have to go to the ninja academy, so they trained early in the morning till evening with his adoptive father. Afterwards he would rest, then practice drawing sealing kanjis. The blond learned how to draw the letters fast enough, but he could only draw explosive tags and storage seals.
On top of this, Jiraiya drew gravity seals on the boy, make him faster in movement and reflexes when he took them off. At the moment he was just on level one.
"Don't you think it's a bit too much to put that on him?" Tsunade asked as they sat watching him go through his taijutsu katas.
"The younger he starts the faster he'll be and he's only on level 1 out of 10 that should keep him busy for a year or 2. Plus the kids a natural with taijutsu and seals. I think he's got a photographic memory." he replied
Suddenly they saw a baby Naruto gently climbing down the few steps that got to the grass of the backyard. They started to get him, until they saw him start walking shakily, then he fell into a steady rhythm walking up next to Kenji, and trying to do the same moves. Kenji noticed and decided to help him as his small limbs tried to imitate the moves his brother was doing. He smiled at the boy's innate nature to do the stances.
'Heh, so he wants to be just like his brother eh?' he thought
"Looks like we've got two prodigies" Jiraiya said with a cheerful chirp
"Perhaps" Tsunade said watching her two adoptive sons practice
7 years later
It was a thunderstorm was raining down on the hidden leaf village
A 7 year old Naruto was looking out of the window at the village as he was downcast.
"What's up Naruto?" Shizune asked
"I wanted to go outside and play. But it's raining. And I'm kinda worried about big brother, he's been gone for 2 weeks now"
Shizune ruffled his hair and reassured him
"Don't worry. Your brother is strong and his sensei, Shisui, is a good friend of mine. And they're both really strong. Besides, they've got a 4 man cell."
"Yea. I guess I just miss him." the 5 year old blonde said
"It's only natural, he's your brother after all. Tell you what, how about we go play some Shogi?"
Naruto's eyes lit up as he gave a childish smile. He developed a knack after playing with his friend Shikamaru and his brother.
"OK! I'll go get the board. Don't hold back on me sis!" He yelled running upstairs

Out in the Hidden leaf forest
Team Shisui was moving on foot through the rain. It was letting up a bit so they felt as if they could make their way with little trouble back to the village.
Kenji Namikaze, Hana Inuzuka and Ko Hyuga made their way through the forest behind their sensei Shisui Uchiha. Kenji couldn't believe the poverty he saw in the land of Rice. He wanted to help the people in that land but he had to hold himself back, due to it begin an information gathering mission. He really wanted to cut loose of the sound ninjas he saw abusing their power against the small businesses in the land along with sinking the boats of the drug trafficers that poluted the village. He even saw a part of the country they called "No man's land" where there was nothing but poverty and bandits fighting for control over the little territory they had. He couldn't believe the things that Gato was doing, and it was being protected by ninja. He thought ninjas were supposed to protect and serve the people, not indulge in destruction of communities.
His teammates thought the same things as they made their way back to the village.
Kenji wore a red jacket with black short sleeves, red shorts and black sandals with the Uzumaki swirl on the back of his jacket.
"Sensei, will we receive a follow up for this mission?" Kenji asked
"Well, possibly. Or they might send a team of Chunin and Jounin to deal with Gato's operations. After all, even though I'm a Jounin, I still have to look out for you guys and he might have some high level ninja working under him" Shisui responded
"So, what you're saying is that we gotta pass the next Chunin exams" Hana said as her 3 ninja hounds ran in a diamond formation around her as she stuck to the back side of the teams diamond formation.
Ko remained quiet as he had his Byakugan active looking for any one that could be looking to ambush them.
"You could say that. I'd say just don't rush yourselves and do your best." Shisui said
"Heh, I plan to surpass my father. So, I'll definitely be passing the chunin exams. It'll be a good chance to test how far I've come in my training with Dad and with you Shisui sensei" Kenji said with a determined grin
Suddenly Ko saw multiple chakra signatures ahead, they had a similar look to them as if they were related.
"We've got multiple chakra signatures up ahead and they're enormous!" he spoke up
"Well, let's see if they're hostile, '' Shisui said with a smirk.
They moved with caution through the forest brush to land in front of a family in 3 horses and carriages. The horses stopped as an older man who looked to be in his late 50's got out of the carriage. He wore a blue kimono with a black obi and geta sandals. He was followed by a young man with a widow peak and black hair wearing a blue skin tight short sleeve, black sweat pants and white boots with yellow tips as well as another young man with blonde hair wearing a blue long sleeve shirt, white pants and blue shinobi sandals and lastly a young boy with light brown hair, wearing a yellow tank top and grey shorts, with white boots and a yellow tip.
"How may I help you, leaf shinobi?" the elder blond man asked
Shisui's eyes looked over at the elder man and the other 3 men that stepped out with him.
"My genin saw your huge chakra signatures and we happened to be headed back the same way to the hidden leaf village." He said
"Is that so? I see, a Hyuga" the older man said, looking at Ko. Then he looked at Kenji as if he saw a ghost.
"My boy, what is your name?" He asked the child
"Kenji Uzumaki Namikaze. The second coming of the yellow flash" he said with a proud smile
The elder man's eyes widened as he smirked
"So you're Minato's boy eh? And the yellow flash, I do believe that's what they called him last time I was in the elemental nations."
"Tch, he's probably week grandpa" the boy around his age said
"Now, now, let's be nice to your cousin, Trunks"
"Cousin? Who are you guys" Kenji asked in excitement
Suddenly the drizzle of rain began to stop and the sun started to shine through the clouds.
"I am Noridasu Namikaze, this is my grandson Trunks, my son-in-law Vegeta and my son Nanash. The rest of our clan are in the Carriages. We come from the land of had heard my grandson was the 4th Hokage"
"Where are you from exactly?" Shisui asked
"We come from the land of lightning, on a small remote island hidden in the forest of lightning. It's a bit of a family secret Island hehe" Noridasu explained
"Heh, ahahahahaha. So I have blood relatives after all" Kenji said rubbing tears away from his eyes
Trunks rolled his eyes and spoke up
"Just because we share the same blood doesn't mean you're worthy of our last name!" He said in irritation
Vegeta chopped him on the head
"Trunks. I told you family is everything. It doesn't matter if he comes from a line of warriors or not. Judging from who his father was, and his claim to take after him, he may surprise you. Now apologize"
Trunks looked his father then at Kenji as he grimaced
"Sorry"
Noridasu shook his head in dissatisfaction.
"Sorry about him. He's always been a natural born fighter" Nanashi said
"I apologize. He gets it from me and I come from a warrior race known as the saiyans. We are battle hardened warriors from birth"
Kenji got a determined look in his eyes and said
"How about I show him how strong I am first hand when we reach the village?"
He was already irritated at not being able to fight any sound ninja so this was perfect for him
Vegeta smirked
"I like you already kid"
Shisui sweat dropped as they all began to head back to the village.
"This is gonna be a hell of a report"

Evening
After getting settled in and doing a family meet and greet, the Namikaze ended up living in the Senju compound, due to the extra rooms they had.
Noridasu and the clan were brought up to speed on Naruto and Kenji's guardians, Jiraiya and Tsunade.
They were all outside having a look around the compound when Kenji saw Trunks leaning against the wall in the house. Kenji did a head nod that told Trunks to follow him.
Vegeta noticed them and appeared in front of them with us arms folded.
"Are you both ready?"
The two nodded
"Yea, let's take this out back" Kenji said with a serious demeanor about him
Jiraiya walked up with a puzzled look
"What's going on here?"
"My son challenged him and he accepted"
Tsunade perked up as she marched over while holding hers and Jiraiya's 2 year old daughter Mito Senju. She wore a light pink onesie
"Kenji, you just got back from your mission. And what's this about? Aren't you two tired?"
Trunks did some arm stretches,
"I'm ready whenever. It's up to him"
Kenji narrowed his eyes with a serious gaze
"I'm fine mom. I didn't get to do too much fighting on my last mission anyways"
Kenji was secretly wondering how he measured up to his cousin. He was from the Namikaze clan and he was apparently from some warrior clan as well.
"It's alright darling. I'll be watching over them" Jiraiya said with a smirk
"As will I." Vegeta said with a serious expression
He had heard Minato was called a genius and one of the greatest warriors on this planet. He wanted to see what his oldest son was made of at the age of 12. The 2 boys went outside followed by Vegeta and Jiraiya.
They went deep into the backyard, which doubled as a training field. As they walked Kenji decided he would give it everything he had. He had a feeling his cousin could give as good as he got, since he was walking ahead with his resting arms behind his head with no worries. Little did they know Naruto was following them through the forest foliage.
Suddenly he was tapped on his shoulder and he jumped. He looked up to see Noridasu
"Oh, head Grandpa. I was just gonna watch their sparring match hehe" he laughed nervously
Noridasu ruffled his hair.
"No worries my boy. I was coming out to see them as well. Why don't we go together?" He said smiling down at his great grandson
They went hand in hand to catch up
The two boys made their way in the field far enough to stand at opposite ends.
"Kick his butt bro!" Naruto yelled startling him
Kenji looked over and gave a confident smile and nodded toward him. He lost his smile when he looked back at Trunks.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this. His brother was usually super confident about winning against his opponent unless it was Shisui or their father Jiraiya.
"Hey grandpa. Is Trunks that strong?" He asked looking up at him in wonder
"What makes you ask that?"
Naruto looked back at his elder brother.
"Because…Kenji is only serious when he goes all out"
Noridasu raised an eyebrow at this and smiled
"I don't know. But I do know you'll be pleasantly surprised at this match"
Jiraiya stood between them
"Ready?"
Both boys got into their fighting stances. Kenji had a serious face, while Trunks had a confident smirk.
"Fight!"
He chopped the air and jumped back.
They both stayed in their battle stances as a breeze of wind blew through the training field. The sunset kissed the field and all those in it. Soon the leaves began to blow. One in particular dances in between them, slowly until it hit the ground. As soon as the dance ended, they both leapt into action.
Trunks came in with an elbow strike. Kenji redirected the attack, weaving to the side. To his surprise, Trunks spun again with the same elbow, causing Kenji to jump back.
They both stood for a moment again, but this time Kenji leapt forward with a spinning kick
"Tatsumaki senpukyaku!"
Trunks blocked the kick, and went to palm strike him but Kenji jumped back, pulling out 3 kunai. He threw the knives at Trunks who moved at an inhuman speed dodging the knives coming at him. The blond was forced to block his face. But to his surprise, Trunks punched him in his stomach, sending him skid back on his feet across the ground.
"Ugh!"
He had to block his stomach again as he received a spartan kick towards his stomach. He was pushed back, skidding on his feet again. He brought his arms down and looked in awe to see Trunks floating with his foot still out. As he landed he spoke
"I'll give you a handicap and not fly. Hehe"
Kenji found himself irritated, but he took a deep breath. He got back into his stance. Left arm outwards guarding his face and right arm closer guarding his face. He had his feet spread and he locked eyes with Trunks. The brown haired boy disappeared from his site. Kenji closed his eyes and focused chakra into his ears.
He had to duck and roll as Trunks tried to kick him. The brunette followed up with a speed barrage of jabs causing Kenji to have to block. He spun and tripped the block, following another spin as he kicked him in his chest, sending him tumbling across the field.
Trunks dashed forward to continue his assault, when suddenly Kenji struck back with a rising uppercut.
"Shoryuken!" He caught his opponent with his first hit of the match, sending him flying backwards but he regained his balance through a backflip and landing. Trunks brushed off his face and looked down to see bloom his fist. He looked at the blond and his took a more serious face.
Vegeta and Noridasu smirked at his timing with the punch.
"Time to end this." He said moving in a speed zigzag towards his opponent.
Kenji dropped a smoke bomb as Trunks approached.
"What?"
Next, he proceeded to channel chakra through his body as he performed a back kick to Trunks' stomach, sending him flying out of the smoke cloud. He raised out of the cloud towards his cousin to continue his assault, but Trunks regained his balance and launched himself off a tree headbutting Kenji. But to his surprise Kenji disappeared.
"What? Where is he?" Trunks wondered
Jiraiya smirked at his son's tactics and so did Naruto.
He took a deep breath, closed his eyes and reached out his senses to find the blind. He smirked and opened his eyes and he tightened his right fist and smashed it into the ground, causing it to crack and burst open.
Kenji jumped out of the ground throwing a volley of shuriken at the brunette. He put his hands in the cross seal and the 3 shuriken turned into 30. Trunks raised his righ hand and opened his palm shooting an energy blast at Kenji.
Vegeta unfolded his arms and started to move, but Jiraiya held up his hand to stop him
"Don't worry, he's got it" he looked at him with a serious face, causing Vegeta to nod.
Kenji made a shadow clone and had it throw him out of the way.
"Got you!" Trunks yelled out launching towards him
Kenji went through hand seals and pointed his hand at the brunette.
"Wind style: Gale force palm!"
The force hit him like a chakra laced punch in the face, sending him crashing into the ground. He rolled himself out of tumbling across the ground.
He stood up as Kenji landed.
Naruto looked at the both of them in awe.
"Wow, he's good. But big bro isn't going all out yet hehe"
"Neither is Trunks. Just watch" Noridasu said smirking at both of his great grandsons
"Alright, no more mr. Nice guy" Trunks said as a blue aura began to radiate around him
"Agreed" Kenji said, putting his hands in the ram seal as a multitude of seals appeared across his body then disappeared.
His chakra began to release from his body. Both of their auras caused the ground to crack and make the wind circulate around them.
"Looks like it's about to get interesting" Vegeta said
The two disappeared from the field and reappeared in the middle clashing fists, causing a huge pressure to exude and create opposing wind currents. The jumped back and moved at a blurring speeds across the field clashing about.
"Amazing, he's matching him blow for blow" Jiraiya said
"Of course we Saiyans are bred for battle" Vegeta replied
Jiraiya's eyes widened and he looked over at the man
"So you're a descendant of Yamoshi I take it?"
Vegeta smirked
"I'm surprised his name is still in the history books. But yes. Myself and several others scattered across this planet are his descendants"
"Heh, and here I thought they died out because of their reclusiveness"
"We eventually broke that tradition after the second shinobi war when the land of Oozarus was pillaged by the Hidden Cloud. Even though we outmatched them in skill, they outnumbered us and massacred the majority of us. On top of that, our tails were cut by the Sage of 6 paths, taking away our transformation of the great ape. But, i myself have found a way to tap into that strength again in a controlled manner" the saiyan explained
"Is that right? And does Trunks know how to do so as well?" Jiraiya asked
Vegeta shook his head and grinned
"No, but he's been getting close recently. Perhaps this battle will push him to that limit"
"You also said your clan was destroyed by the hidden cloud in the second Shinobi war. You don't seem upset about it. Why is that?"
"Simple, I wasn't born during that time. I was born during the middle of the 3rd shinobi war. My father was too prideful and got my mother and brother killed by the Raikage and his brother the 8 tails jinchuriki. I've learned from his mistakes. I will not walk his path and turn to my pride"
He said watching the boys battle. Jiraiya nodded and looked back at the battle as well.
Trunks was delivering a barrage of kicks at Kenji who dodged them with ease. He smirked as his aura bursted around his body and the kicks sped up causing Kenji to star blocking with his dodges. Trunks stop and performed a reverse roundhouse. Kenji smirked then ducked, grabbing Trunks leg and spinning him a full 360 degrees twice and threw him towards the forest trees. The brunette bowl cut regained his balance and landed.
He smiled at Kenji.
"Looks like I was wrong. You're a pretty good fighter and a decent ninja. But I think we should end this."
Kenji kept a serious demeanor and said
"My thoughts exactly."
He held out his hand a spiraling sphere appeared in his hand, causing the very wind itself to swirl and stir around him. He performed a body flicker and began to move towards his opponent.
"Ohhh, so that's the Rasengan eh?" Trunks asked as he cupped his hand and balled his fists up, extending his index fingers and holding them both like guns.
A dense yellow energy appeared in front of his fingers.
"Big Tree Cannon!"
The beam shot out as Kenji dodged and began to move towards Trunks again. The bowl cut brunette continued to fire the yellow energy beams at Kenji who dodged with expertise. As he moved closer Trunks unballed his fists and gathered ki in a baseball shape and moved to meet Kenji.
"Rasengan!"
"Buster Cannon!"
The attacks clashed and caused the wind to stir as well as the ground to crack beneath them.
Jiraiya stood with a proud smile at his adopted son. Vegeta also stood with a proud smile at his son.
Noridasu stood with Naruto in hand with a proud smile on his face as well. Naruto looked in wonder at his brother's skill, then he smirked while thinking.
'I'm gonna train hard and get stronger than both of them'
Suddenly the two of their attacks canceled each other out and sent them flying towards opposite ends of the field. Jiraiya's body flickered to catch Kenji and Vegeta appeared with pure speed behind Trunks to catch him. Vegeta looked up to see a giant crater from their clash, then he smirked at Jiraiya. He opened his mouth to speak, then he noticed Jiraiya with a look of fear while he looked towards the house. Vegeta looked to see his wife Fune Namikaze with a sneer on her face standing next to Tsunade who also had a grimace of annoyance on her face. The two women began to stalk towards the men in anger.
"Now just wait a minute dear I-" it was too late as she snatched Kenji and punched him in the face, sending him flying into a tree. Fune did the same as she snatched Trunks from Vegeta and palm struck him, causing him to double over.
"What..was that..for" he asked with anime tears and a blush of embarrassment.
The two women yelled at the same time.
"IDIOTS! LOOK AROUND!"
Vegeta looked around to see various Jounin and the Hokage with his Anbu standing ready for battle.
"What's going on here? I felt an enormous chakra pulse!" Hiruzen asked
Noridasu came with a young Naruto in toe
"It's nothing Lord Hokage, just letting the children get in some sparring"
Everyone in the field deadpanned at his response except for Naruto who looked upon the results of his brother and his cousins spar in amazement. For him, he would forever burn this battle into his head as the benchmark for his strength in the coming years.

Later that night,
Jiraiya sat with Noridasu and Hiruzen in the Hokages office.
"Noridasu, what was that energy I felt Trunks using? It didn't feel like chakra" Jiraiya asked
"Ahh that is called Ki my boy"
Hiruzen almost dropped his pipe as his eyes widened
"They've mastered how to use latent life force energy? But how?" he asked
"Those of the blood of Yamoshi have always been able to use life force energy or ki. It's why they were feared by the Hidden cloud and almost brought to extinction"
Jiraiya and Hiruzen narrowed their eyes.
"So those two are the last of their race?"
"No, the hidden stone facilitates a young Saiyan by the name of Kakarot. He is another Saiyan that escaped their wrath" Noridasu explained
"Humph, so they were that fearsome eh?" Jiraiya asked
"I had to clip Trunks tail because he kept turning into a great ape as a child" Noridasu said putting his head in his hand
"But enough of that, this can't be the only reason you've called me here" he continued
"RIght on to business. We've actually been trying to find out who released the 9 tailed fox upon the village. Even though Minato stopped the beast and sealed it into Naruto, we must remain vigilant in case they come back for the 9 tails again"
"Hmmm, if anyone can sense a foreign life force it would be Vegeta or Trunks. Do you have anything else to go by?"
Jiraiya and Hiruzen sighed then looked at each other
"The 9 tails was under a genjutsu from the Sharingan. And the only one who could put a tailed beast under a genjutsu right now is Fugaku Uchiha. We subtracted him from the list and put him and the police force on the task to look out for any rogue Uchiha with another elder Danzo Shimura. But we went through the files of every Uchiha and found that Fugaku was the only one with the Mangekyo Sharingan. But, he wasn't with Lord Fourth the night Naruto was born, in fact no Sharingan wielder was there that night."
"Which leads you to believe it was a rogue ninja from the Uchiha. But, even if they went rogue they would've been noticed." Noridasu concluded
"Who do you think it could be?" he continued to ask
"We believe it was Madara Uchiha" Hiruzen said
"Wow, thats a big accusation" the elder blond said
"But it doesn't sound to crazy does it?" Jiraiya asked
"Unfortunately not. I'll have Vegeta and Trunks on the lookout for any foreign life signatures" Noridasu said with a sigh
"Alright then, next I have to ask, would any of your kin be interested in becoming leaf ninja?"
"Of course, we will defend my the village that my grandson gave his life to protect. My son Sora Namikaze and his son Minato died to protect this village. I will protect it with my all as well and so will my family"
