The Kingdom of Kanto was a powerful nation, and to further solidify its prominence in the global political sphere, they decided to join hands with the Kingdom of Kanto to become the United Kingdoms of Kanto and Johto.

However, this move was not taken lightly.

War broke out across the two nations devastating the land.

With the war, many started to flee the two nations in search for peace.

Commander Kamado was one of those people.

Kamado was from a high ranking and wealthy family and was in one of the highest positions of leadership for the Kantonian military. He couldn't stand to see his countrymen fight each other; so he devised a plan to leave the nation and settle in a new land.

With his resources, Kamado created a team that would allow for maximum survival in a new territory.

Kamado had put together some of the brightest minds in Kanto, which he called his stars, to lead this new journey. When someone pointed out that he seemed to have enough "stars" to fill a galaxy. The name of this new team was born.

It was known as the Galaxy Expedition Team.

The Galaxy Expedition Team was made up of six corps; the Survey Corps, the Security Corps, the Medical Corps, the Supply Corps, the Agriculture Corps, and the Construction Corps.

The Survey Corps was responsible for exploring and documenting the new land they would settle in. They would see which beasts roamed the land and which ones would be able to be tamed. They would also document the flora and fauna and see what was good to eat. The leader of this corps would be Captain Cyllene, who served under Kamado in the military.

The Security Corps would serve to defend their people from any outside forces or beasts that could harm them. They would create a sense of safety in their new community. The leader of this corps was Zisu, an intelligent warrior who was known throughout Kanto for taming the wildest of beasts.

The Medical Corps would take care of their new community when they were sick or in distress. They would create medicines and ensure the health of their people. The leader of this corps would be Pesselle, who was known to work directly under the imperial physician of the Kantonian Court.

The Supply Corps would handle the logistics of their new community. They would document all their resources and what they would need in order to survive. The leader of this corps was Tao Hua, who was known as a wealthy aristocrat with shred business skills.

The Agriculture Corps would grow crops and raise cattle to feed the people of this new community. The leader of this corps was Colza, who was known for cultivating the finest rice fields Kanto had to offer.

The Construction Corps would be responsible for building their new community. They would create homes for everyone as well as establish any new buildings needed for them. The leader of this corps was Sanqua, who was known for creating the business plans of the current residence of the Kantonian imperial family.

After months of gathering support and collecting those who wished to flee Kanto and Johto, Kamado led a fleet of people across the sea to lands in the North.

It was spring by the time Kamado and his fleet landed on the shore of a northern territory.

The land was gorgeous and filled with life; so Kamado named the territory Hisui, which meant "hidden and profound" in Kantonian.

Kamado hoped this new hidden land would give his people respite.

Through the spring, summer, and autumn, his community was doing quite well for themselves and established themselves in the land. They even started to send correspondence back home to inform more people who wanted to flee Kanto and Johto. However, once winter appeared, calamity struck.

The winter was harsh in Hisui, much harsher than the ones down south. Many people died that winter and their community significantly shrunk.

In the coming spring, they had made contact with many indigenous groups in Hisui that taught them how to survive the harsh winters.

With more support, their community was able to thrive again, and they were even able to continue expanding into the land.

After a few years had passed, a cataclysmic event shook the entire region.

A gigantic hole through space time appeared in the sky and with it came calamity, fear, mistrust, and danger.

This event struck a cord deep inside the heart of Commander Kamado. Once the problem was resolved, the commander went on a military campaign throughout Hisui in order to unite the land under one sovereign leader. He believed this would be the only way to protect his community and make sure no calamity such as the one he witnessed happened every again.

This military campaign lasted five years, and by the end, Hisui was united under the name Sinnoh. The name of their new nation was derived from one of the epithets that an indigenous community used for their deity. Kamado thought it was fitting since that nation was the last to fall.

By unanimous vote, Kamado was chosen to be the first Prime Minister of Sinnoh.

With this transfer of power, Kamado set up the first government of Sinnoh that is known today.

With this new transition, Kamado transferred leadership of the Galaxy Expedition Team to Captain Cyellene. There was no one who he could trust more. Kamado transferred all legal, political, and economic duties of the team to Cyllene and her descendants.

With Kamado establishing a new government, the need of the Galaxy Expedition Team waned.

Captain Cyllene transitioned the team from its role as a pseudo de facto government into a modern day business.

It was known as the Galaxy Corporation.

The Survey and Security Corps combined and became a militia that people could hire for protection. The government also had those in the army reserves work here.

The Medical Corps transformed into a pharmaceutical company. They conducted the latest research to put out the best and most effective medicines possible.

The Supply Corps transformed into a shipping and logistics company. They had warehouses all over Sinnoh where they would store goods. They would ship these items to people all across the region.

The Agriculture Corps transformed into a large-scale farm that supplied more than 50% of all the food in the region.

The Construction Corps transformed into a construction company. They built buildings for many people and companies, but they also had an exclusive contract with the government. All government buildings, military bases, and publicly funded institutions were built by them.

This made the Galaxy Corporation one of the wealthiest conglomerates in the region.

Captain Cyllene continued to pass down the reigns of the Galaxy Corporation to her progeny.

Currently in the modern day, her descendant Cyrus was now in control.

Cyrus was always interested in history and loved to know more about his family and lineage. When he was in his 30s, he found a set of diaries by his ancestor Cyllene. He was enraptured with what he was reading. The accounts that Cyllene made, especially those about the time of the great space-time rift, were riveting. But what he was most intrigued about was the potential to tame the deities that ruled over space and time, that some indigenous groups worshiped.

He became obsessed with capturing these beasts and creating his new world order, but Cyrus was nothing if not meticulous.

He used his family assets and the Galaxy Corporation to establish his new collective, Team Galactic.

He slowly recruited those that shared the same sense of morals, sensibilities, and passions as him to be a part of his team.

And under the cover of the Galaxy Corporation, no one suspected a thing.
