"How did you find us, Son?" asked William's mother after the three had separated in order to talk.
"A friend of our family had found a map that led us here," said William as he turned to look at Finn, giving him a smile while doing so.
"We also found Merium," he said.
"Wait, is that my scepter?" asked Queen Dereum as she noticed it in Ant's hands.
"I've been using it for a little while, but seeing how you are the rightful owner," said Ant as he held it out for her to take, but she stopped him by holding up a hand.
"I can no longer use its powers since you have bonded with it, so you may keep it," said Queen Dereum with a smile.
"Hey, thanks for bringing that map to us, looks like it meant more than what we thought it would," said Fontaine to Finn as the two stood off by themselves.
"Still doesn't make up for what my family and I did," said Finn.
"But you have more time to make it up, and you even helped to bring my family together again so it's kind of big to us," said Fontaine as she took hold of his hand.
"She's right, former pirate boy," said Ant.
"Wow, I must be dead for you to be nice to me," said Finn before the three laughed. The whole place then started to shake as the monumentals roared from outside.
"What's happening?!" asked William.
"The monumentals are starting to move, the safehouse will fall back into the sea floor again soon!" said Queen Dereum.
"Then we had all better get out of here and fast!" said Kaiko. Everyone then ran for the Knights and Rover.
"It's going to be close!" said Ant as they noticed the door shutting. Luckily, they managed to squeeze through in the last few seconds.
"Are all of your adventures like this?" asked William's father.
"Most usually, remind me to tell you about the pistol shrimp monumental that we met," said Will.
"Sounds interesting," said his mom.
"Still wasn't as bad as the giant sea worm that almost ate us," said Ant while swimming next to the Rover in the Shadow Knight.
"Or the minotaur," said Fontaine from the opposite side.
"Can't wait to hear about all of your adventures," said William's dad.
"So much has changed since I was last out in the world," said Queen Dereum.
"There is a lot for you to get used to, sister, but I'll help you to get used to this new world," said Nereus.
