Raikou, Entei, and Suicune exited one of Hoopa's rings, which lead them back to their large trailer on the film set. Suicune was holding a large bag in her tails. They had just come back from a long meeting with Arceus and Giratina, where they were told that their show was being cancelled. Why? Well, multiple reasons…

"How the hell were we supposed to know that Type: Null was a Legendary Pokémon, too?!" Entei groused. "They didn't let us know! We just knew that Silvally was."

"I don't think she knows, either…" Suicune commented, wanting to give the Synthetic Pokémon the benefit of the doubt.

"Or, she does, and was just playing along," Raikou huffed. "But, to be honest… I'm perfectly fine with the show being over. We had way too many contestants anyway. We'd end up doing this shit for months if we kept going, and I really don't care to."

"I mean, that's another reason why they cancelled on us. We kept abandoning this place and they made Dialga stop time here so that the contestants didn't notice…"

"I don't get how Mew and Victini managed to do it…" Suicune huffed. "Those two are idiots!"

"Who cares?" Entei huffed. "Let's just get this shit over with so we can get back to the hall."

Nodding in agreement, they all made their way toward their primary meeting area.

After calling all of the remaining players down, a few of them looking more irritated than usual, Raikou cleared his throat.

"So, uh… How've you all been?" the Thunder Pokémon inquired.

"Well, we were doing better until you decided to call us down," Delcatty huffed.

"What crappy challenge do we have this time?" Aggron sighed.

"Yeah… Here's the thing," Raikou began. "The show's been cancelled."

Looks of shock and disappointment immediately spread across the remaining players' faces. They couldn't have heard that correctly. Cancelled?

Luxray started laughing, "This is a joke, right? It has to be a fucking joke!"

"Nope, sorry cupcake," Entei replied with a chuckle. "Ratings are low, there's way too many of you, and… to be honest… We've been abandoning you here for weeks to months at a time. Only reason it doesn't feel that different is because Dialga stopped time here to keep you all from aging and figuring it out for yourselves…"

"Wait, you assholes just left us here, frozen in some kinda fucked up limbo for months!?" Breloom exclaimed. "What the hell is wrong with you?!"

"Nothing. This was just a much bigger undertaking than we anticipated," Suicune sheepishly explained.

"So… All the pain and bullshit that you put us through this time… was all for nothing?!" Typhlosion exclaimed.

Shouts of anger and irritation erupted from the large crowd of contestants. They had really left them all there and kept them away from the real world and their actual families for months?

Eventually, getting tired, Entei roared, getting everyone's attention. "Now listen! The show's over. Sucks for you. You can cry about it all you want, but that' just how it's turned out."

"But…" Raikou spoke up. "The cancellation policy for these shows says that all of the remaining players must receive a pay out, which will also determine the winner of the season."

"Wait, wait, wait… What?" Eelektrik inquired. "You guys abandon us here… And you just get to pay us off and that's it? We lost a shit ton of time out here!"

"Yeah! Our families are probably worried sick about us!" Leaferon added, with everyone murmuring or nodding in agreement.

"Do you want the money or not?" Entei deadpanned, not exactly bothered by their complaints.

"Of course we'll still take the money, you fucking jackass!" Drilbur exclaimed, sounding much more pissed than usual. "That doesn't excuse this shit!"

"I love how you guys are more upset about being put in limbo than the actual challenges where you all died for a few moments," Raikou chortled.

Nobody laughed along with the smilodon, with almost all of the remaining players glaring at him. Noticing this, Raikou cleared his throat once again. "Anyways… Uh, Suicune has a bag of slips with dollar amounts ranging from 10K to 20T. The way it works is that, depending on the number amount you receive, that's the placement you get from our current standings. So, whoever gets the 20T will be the winner, and whoever gets the 10K slip will be… uh…"

"67th…" Milotic deadpanned.

"Right…" Raikou replied, exasperated.

"Actually no," Suicune chimed in. She turned to one contestant in particular. "Type: Null, you're disqualified from the competition. We were not informed of your status as a Legendary Pokémon-"

The Synethetic Pokémon was stunned, "Wait… WHAT!?"

"You've been a Legendary this whole time!?" Umbreon barked, as everyone eyed the Synthetic Pokémon in disbelief.

"I-I didn't know!" Type: Null exclaimed. "What does this even mean?!"

"We'll figure it out later," Entei replied, brushing off her concerns.

"Yeah, so whoever gets the highest amount wins, and the lowest gets 66th," Suicune replied, walking forward and placing the bag down. "Now, one at a time, step on up and grab a slip."

"And don't open them until we say so," Raikou added.

Suddenly, a thought entered Pangoro's head. "Wait… If this is gonna pay all of us off… Wh… How the hell do you Legendaries get all of this damn money!?"

The Legendary Beasts exchanged looks, not having an answer. Arceus and Giratina were the main overseers of these competition, so that was a question for them.

Not giving an answer, Suicune moved on, "So, who's first?"

Despite their anger and reservations about their situation, each player approached the bag to retrieve a slip. Some needed a bit of assistance, though, so Suicune simply handed certain players a slip. Once everyone received a slip, Raikou took a breath, "Alright… on the count of three… Open your slips."

"One… Two… THREE!"

Yep… It's back… And I'm so sorry for it, lol. Been thinking about this story for a while, and looking back, it's not as bad as I thought it was. It still has the typical tropes and everything that TPIs used to be known for back in the 2014-2016 days. Lotsa edge and violence and excessive swearing and poor grammar.

Decided to just have it back up for canon sake and give it its actual ending, since I keep making reference to it and everything. So uh… Yeah… This and UTPI are definitely the weakest entries in my universe, but… It is what it is. So… Yeah, just like how Tyrantrum won Total Pokémon: Kalos… Sceptile won Ultimate Total Pokémon Action. And I'm pretty sure this is the highest amount ever won… Lucky bastard.

Anyways, that's it. See ya guys, BYE!
