Chapter 2 Random flashback #1

Halloween 2005

Trish put down her glass, trying to keep the sigh of disappointed annoyance to herself, she had no idea why she agreed with Lita to even come to this lame costume party, but there she was dressed as Wonder Woman, sitting alone while Lita dressed as a maid was being the usual social butterfly. Trish was gonna have one more drink but decided against it, she just wanted to get out of her costume and sleep. She was about to move from her seat when a voice stopped her, it ran in her ears and down her spine giving her a shock more than expected.

"Leavin so soon? I was hopin to talk to you"

Trish looked to the voice, a pair of silver orbs blaring at her, as though boring into her soul and seeing her most hidden spots. The young girl had straight black strands with silver ringlets that matched her eyes. Down her slender arms were tattoo sleeves, her ears and most of the holes on her round face had subtle silver peircings. Her tiny frame wrapped in head to toe black, Trish had no idea what she was dressed as but she found for the first time that night, she wanted to talk to someone.

"Why do you wanna talk to me?" Trish asked cooly, shocked that her voice wasn't squeaking with the sudden nerves she had flapping in her stomach.

"You seem interestin" The girl shrugged moving closer so she was on the seat next to Trish at the make-shift bar. "I'm Raven"

Trish shook her hand "Trish. So what are you dressed as Raven?"

Those full pink lips pursed together for a moment in deep thought, "I don't like costumes, I find them too...common"

"Common?"

"Look around, how many Wonder Womans' do you see?"

Trish looked around and instantly found three more women and one man dressed as Wonder Woman. "Four"

"And you makes five. Now look again and tell me how many people look like me?"

Trish didn't have to look because she knew the answer, no one looked like Raven and perhaps that was the best costume in the place. For a moment it was silent, the brown doe eyes of Trish peering into the silver orbs of the gothic-esque stranger.

Raven was spared saying anything for the moment, another Wonder Woman took Trish's attention, a friend it would seem although Trish didn't seem so happy to have her attention.

"Hi Trish!, guess good minds think alike huh"

"I guess so Candice"

Candice looked at Raven, clearly not impressed with her costume or her presance near her friend, "What are you dressed as?"

"I'm dressed as my identical twin Iziah"

A small smirk swiped Candice's lips, "If your not wearing a costume you get a drink poured on your head thats the rules"

Raven smirked back, knowing that her glare would be enough, at least this time, "Try it. I dare you"

Candice thought better of it, now she just wanted this girl out of her party, she wasn't even sure how she even got in to start with. Candice figured she was a friend of Lita's.

"Well if you're not wearing a costume, you have to leave"

Raven shrugged getting off her seat, she offered a hand Trish, "Apparently I'm-a leavin, would you like to come with me?"

Trish had no idea what to say, she knew better than going with strangers but something about her held her in place and yet safety bells were ringing in her head, screaming actually. "Give me a second" Trish wanted a reason to leave but still wanted to be safe, quickly she found Lita, "If I don't ring you in an hour send help"

Lita laughed but did agree to the odd way Trish decided to stay safe.

She made her way back to Raven glad that she hadn't left without her. Like she had the confidence of the Queen, Trish slipped her hand into Raven's, hot sparks warped up her arm and settled around body bringing a familiar warmth she couldn't have possibly felt before.

Trish had no idea how it happened but she didn't care, she found herself with Raven alone at a small river, bushes and trees hiding them perfectly. Raven said nothing as she started to take off her clothes, Trish looked away as she unclipped her bra and tossed it with her shirt, her breasts were full without sagging or tattoos. Little pink nubs with more silver metal. Trish found herself ogling at full bull as Raven took off her jeans. More tattoos down her muscular legs, her eyes travelled until she saw the inner recess, not a trace of hair or ink. Every inch of her was perfect in Trish's eyes, she had no idea if she was dreaming, all she knew was she didn't want to wake up.

"Wanna join me Trish?" Raven made sure her clothes were all together in a pile, then without waiting for an answer she dived into the cold water, she came up and gave her long hair a shake sending droplets across the small waves she had created.

Trish stripped off her costume, wondering if Raven appreciated her beauty as much as others seemed too. Ice tangled around her body, chills sped around her body making Trish regretting going into the cold water. Raven wrapped her arms around her body as they floated together, their breasts pressing against each other. Warmth came to her Trish faster than the cold had, being in Raven's arms felt so good, it should've been foreign but to Trish it wasn't.

"So how long do I have you Trish?"

"An hour"

"I better make the best of it then"

Raven kissed her lips, soft and sweet waiting for Trish to accept or deny her invitation. Eagerly Trish let her tongue come out and play with Raven's, a moan and tremor filling up the small space. Raven pulled her closer, needing to feel every inch of Trish against her, the smooth skin stamped in her head, as it always had been, as it always would be. Raven had to restrain herself she knew, so she didn't scare her away but she couldn't, her tiny hands had to explore every curve Trish had, she would only stop if Trish said too. As her hand wondered down her left breast, Trish pressed into the touch, wanting more but not wanting to stop kissing the soft lips of her new friend.

Far too soon Raven walked her back to the hotel so she could ring Lita and let her know that she was safe, Trish wanted to stay in the water but Raven insisted on walking her back.

"Would you at least like my number Raven?" Trish asked shyly, standing outside the hotel hoping that Raven said yes, she felt like a teen all over again, nervous and wondering when they would see each other again, wanting to kiss her again, just wanting to be near her. It made Trish slightly giddy.

"Trust me, I don't need it." Raven kissed her cheek "I'll see you sooner than you think Trishy"

With that she walked away and left Trish puzzled and heartbroken. Yet something about the way she said it, it didn't sound like a flat out rejection. Then why did it feel that way?
