In the years to follow, I'd come to learn about Shao Kahn's plot to invade Edenia.
His army had been operating in the shadows. Infiltrating ours with planted spies. Shang Tsung used his sorcery to corrupt my mother. Shapeshifting into different residents of Edenia to get inside her head.
Driving her to the brink of insanity.
Following the invasion, Kahn merged Edenia with Outworld into one realm. What was once my beautiful homeworld is now an apocalyptic wasteland of death and despair.
No longer am I a prisoner of Shao Kahn but a loyal servant – or so he thinks. Alongside my cloned twin-sister Mileena – to even call her my twin makes me sick to my stomach — we serve as hired assassins. Helping Kahn cheat in order to win upcoming Mortal Kombat tournaments. Furthering his takeover of all realms.
Shao Kahn has currently set his sights on Earthrealm.
My only hope is a champion of Mortal Kombat. A champion that can perhaps, one day, help me overthrow my new, autocratic father.
