September 13th, 2576:
"This is Spartan Sierra-695 Jane Shepard on the Normandy-SR1. Requesting immediate backup, the ship is under heavy fire from an unknown faction. I repeat, Requesting immediate backup!" Jane screamed over the coms that the brass provided her with.
"GET TO THE PODS!" John, her brother who doesn't remember her, screamed.
"What about you?!" she screamed as he ran to the cockpit, only getting "Getting Joker!" in response. Heading to one of the pods as ordered, she waited for someone else to enter, only to see Joker being helped to the pod by John. As he was about to enter a second beam hit the Normandy… his last action was to press the release button, before he was spaced. "COMMANDER/JOHN!" Joker and she screamed respectively. The last thing either of them saw before the pod accelerated to FTL speeds, was multiple FSC ships appearing.
Medical Report A-1 of -John Shepard-
After examining the wounds sustained during or after the attack, CC Spectre John Shepard will make it out alive. However, a more thorough examination should be conducted by personnel on the Station -REDACTED-. Most wounds appear to be first and second-degree burns. His spine is damaged and will need replacement, as does most of his skin tissue. Surprisingly the only area not affected was his brain.
Medical Report A-4 of -John Shepard-
Following a proper exam, it is clear that a medically induced coma would be the best course of action. Most of his tissue is healing quite well, his spine is set to be replaced by the newest Spine Replacement in four days.
Estimated time of waking: 2 years
Medical Report C-10 of -John Shepard-
All augmentations, currently viable have been placed, so far no augments were rejected by his body. It is possible that augmentations pertaining to the brain may be rejected and cause more damage than good, it is highly advised to NOT place any augments into his brain and/or skull.
