Chapter Thirty-Eight
Into the Lab of Horrors
Back at the Foot Headquarters, Donatello, Monalisa and Pandora were marched to Dr Arden's Laboratories.
Gila Monster gripped Donatello's shoulders and hissed every time Donatello tried to struggle.
"Try and escape Turtle!" he growled "And it'll be worse for the lizards than for you!"
Donatello bared his teeth at Gila Monster, but he didn't try to fight.
Monalisa and Pandora meanwhile walked with Cobra and Black Mamba holding their bound arms behind their backs.
Pandora looked at her mother in fear and Monalisa felt tears in her eyes as she looked at her frightened daughter's face.
"I'm sorry mum…" Pandora mouthed "I should have known… about the clone…. realised she wasn't Kemeko."
"Don't be sorry baby." Monalisa mouthed back, unable to hold back her tears "You did what you could, I'm so proud of you my precious! I will get us out of here!"
Just seeing her child so fragile and vulnerable, she wanted to tell her everything would be alright, but she knew right there and then she couldn't, and failure hit her hard, because as a mother, she wanted to protect her child, as was her duty,
Pandora too began to cry, she wanted to reach out to her mum or hug her, but she was unable to, due to Cobra's grip and her bound wrists, so all she could do was keep her eyes on her mother until they reached their destination.
Before long they arrived at Dr Arden's main Lab, and the lizards and Donatello gasped in horror at what they saw.
Pandora could only remember the abominations she had seen before when she and Kemeko had infiltrated the Foot Headquarters to save their family and she had seen for herself the evil and disgusting experiments Dr Arden performed in his lab.
She saw the different water tanks and tubes with the different mutants, or rather faceless and genderless bodies ready for what they were to be built into, whether they be new mutants, mutated ninja or some other evil creature that would follow any order given by Dr Arden, Arashi, or Shredder himself.
Once they were in the middle of the room, Dr Arden turned to the prisoners.
"Now you're in my part of the Building, I can decide what I want to do with you!" he smirked.
He looked at the two lizards then at Donatello, then he looked at Monalisa.
"You!" he said flexing his syringe fingers and going over to her.
"You and I have a history, and you left your mark on me!" he touched the burnt side of his face.
"I used to resent that, but now I'm grown to accept it, and wear it like a badge, as well as a reminder of what you did to me!"
Monalisa glared.
"Shows the monster you are!" she spat furiously "You're fucking sick!"
Dr Arden glared and slapped Monalisa across the cheek.
Pandora and Donatello gasped in shock, and Pandora glowered.
"Leave my mom alone!" she screamed but Cobra punched the hybrid in the back making her grunt.
Dr Arden glared then smirked.
"Cobra!" he snarled "I think I know how to break the lizard whore!"
Cobra looked over to her master and licked her lips.
"Shall I drip my venom on the filthy crossbred Master?" she asked.
Dr Arden shook his head.
"No, even better." He answered with a twisted smile, he turned to Monalisa again and pointed to a cage by the wall.
"Throw her in there, Mamba!" he ordered to the Black Mamba.
"Very Well Master!" she replied and before Monalisa could comprehend was happening, she was thrown into a cage next to the wall and locked inside.
"Mona!" Donatello cried reaching for his adopted sister.
"Mum!" Pandora yelled but Cobra pulled her back painfully by the hair and Black Mamba came over to assist in holding the hybrid.
Monalisa pulled on the bars and shook them.
"Arden!" she screamed "You think you can keep me in here?"
Dr Arden rolled his eyes.
"Well yes!" he said "I can keep you in there for as long as I wish! And I intend to, especially with I got planned to make you suffer! And there's no way you can get out without your weapons, since we stripped you of all you have, apart from the clothes on your back!"
He smirked and turned to Pandora.
"Put her on the table!" he ordered "She's going to be the first I perform my experiments on!"
As Monalisa heard that, her eyes widened, and she screamed as well as shook the bars.
"No! No! Leave her alone!"
Pandora struggled against the snakes as she was dragged to the table and Donatello saw red! He threw his head backwards with all his strength and headbutted Gila Monster in the snout.
The lizard gave a grunt and fell backwards loosening his grip on the turtle and Donatello dived towards Dr Arden.
"Master!" Black Mamba yelled in warning, but it was too late as the purple masked turtle jumped on him and started to punch him over and over!
Monalisa felt a sense of and relief as Donatello was able to break free and attack Dr Arden.
"Get him Donnie!" she shouted desperately.
Donatello roared and punched Dr Arden several times.
Dr Arden grunted and held up one of his arms to defend himself and at the same time he tried to stab at Donatello with his syringes.
Gila Monster stumbled as he shook off stars.
Black Mamba and Cobra wanted to help but they couldn't let go of Pandora who started to fight back as well.
"Shake it off you idiot!" Black Mamba shouted at Gila Monster who regained his composure and snarled before turning to Donatello.
At the same time, several scientists saw and heard the commotion and ran over to assist but they soon stopped in their tracks when Donatello punched Dr Arden hard in the face dazing him then he jumped up and grabbed the doctor by what was left of his hair on his unburnt side and pointed a scalpel at his throat.
"Stay back! All of you!" the turtle roared "One step closer and I'll slit his throat! And I'll make it so all the serums in his body won't heal him!"
Pandora gloated and she looked at the snakes holding her prisoner.
"You think we'll take orders from you filthy Mutant?" one scientist said as he glared at Donatello.
"I'm not fucking with you!" Donatello snarled "I swear! With all I know about biology, I knew where to hit a vital point! I know where to kill someone! In all my years as a ninja turtle, I never liked killing, but I know when someone is too dangerous to be kept alive!"
He turned to Cobra and Black Mamba.
"Let go of my niece!" he demanded "Now! Unless you want me to rip your master's Vocal cords out of his throat!"
Black Mamba and Cobra hissed in defiance, but Pandora struggled against them.
"My Uncle Donnie doesn't bluff!" she spat.
Black Mamba glared at Donatello then she smirked.
"No!" she hissed.
Donatello gritted his teeth and drove the scalpel into Dr Arden's throat much to the shook of the scientists watching, but they soon saw Donatello's eyes widen and he gasped before falling to the ground stiff as a board and Dr Arden stood up with the scalpel in his throat!
Monalisa and Pandora were horrified.
"NO!" Monalisa screamed.
"Uncle Donnie!" Pandora cried as she tried to reach for him, but the two snakes held her back.
"Head on a stick!" Cobra giggled as she looked at the frozen turtle laying on the ground unable to move.
"Saw you had everything under control, Master!" Black Mamba smirked to which Dr Arden nodded at them in thanks.
Dr Arden glared down at Donatello and pulled the scalpel out of his neck and the wound healed up.
"Nice try turtle!" he sneered "Did you really think you could subdue me?"
He kicked Donatello in the side and knelt to him before tapping his syringes on the turtle's plastron, smirking as he did so.
Donatello grimaced and glared.
"I thought you were the smart one!" Dr Arden jeered "Well, you weren't smart enough nor quick enough to see how quickly I could bring you down!"
"Through dishonour!" Donatello spluttered "And your serums!" he spat at Dr Arden and the doctor recoiled before grabbing Donatello's throat and leaning close to his face.
"For that little stunt Donatello!" he said "You will suffer as well! I was going to make you my slave, but that will wait for now, for you must be punished!"
He stood up and turned to the scientists.
"Strap him to the other table next to the crossbreed!" he ordered.
The nearby scientists ran over and did as Dr Arden asked, they lifted Donatello up and strapped him to an upright table.
At the same time, Cobra and Black Mamba strapped Pandora to the other table, they placed her wrists and ankles into the metal clamps attached then strapped her down with leather belts over her chest and upper legs.
Dr Arden watched and smirked.
"Oh, I've been waiting for this!" he said as he approached Pandora's table and ran his syringes fingers over her stomach and chest "To see what secrets you hold! And what runs through those veins!"
"Get off her! Get your disgusting hands off my daughter!" Monalisa screamed from her cage.
Dr Arden smirked as he heard Monalisa's screams yet he ignored her and continued to gloat and run his syringed fingers over Pandora.
"You know something girl?" he said, "When you were in your mother's womb, I wanted to cut you out!"
Pandora stared up at Dr Arden in horror.
"Oh yes!" Dr Arden grinned "I wanted to rip you out! And see what you were and use you to create Hybrid soldiers!"
"You sick freak!" Pandora spat.
"Sadly, I was denied that chance! Thanks to your uncle Donatello" He glared at the purple masked turtle who mouthed obesities to him.
"I forced him to do the job, yet he fought back, and your mother escaped! For years I had wanted to get my hands on you to see what abilities you have, being a mutant with interesting abilities, as your mother is part salamander, and she has faster healing, and you also hold abilities from your father, not just his anger and fiery nature!"
Pandora glared.
Even though she was terrified and wasn't sure what Dr Arden would do to her, as she had heard stories from her parents and uncles of what he was capable of, she didn't want to show it.
Dr Arden smirked again seeing Pandora's look.
'You're just like your dear father!" he said "Fearless and not willing to show fear! Well, after I'm through with you, you'll know true terror!"
Pandora snarled, then Black Mamba grabbed her head and Cobra placed a mask over her mouth and nose.
The hybrid struggled then she went limp as she succumbed to the drugs within that put her into a deep sleep.
Donatello watched in horror as did Monalisa from her cage.
"No! No! No!" she screamed "Arden! You Monster! You Monster!" she shook the bars and pulled at them screaming as she wept in terror and helplessness before collapsing on the floor broken.
Donatello looked at Dr Arden and his eyes blazed.
"You coward! You evil freak!"
"Shut up!" Dr Arden snarled "You won't stop me! You tried! But now you will bear witness to what I will do to your niece! As will the bitch over there, see what I will do to her daughter!" he smirked at the sobbing and screaming lizard lady in the cage.
He looked down at Pandora and licked his lips.
"Let's see what's in your DNA little girl!" he drawled.
Donatello, Monalisa and Pandora have benn brought to Dr Arden's Lab, Donatello tried to save his adopted sister and niece, yet Dr Arden got the upper hand, and now both Monalisa and Donatello are forced to watch Pandora be experiented on!
