Chapter Forty-Six
A Fight to the Death
Throughout the Foot Headquarters, the residents and employees of the Foot were watching from TV monitors to see the executions of the Hamato Clan and they too witnessed Kemeko's actions.
At once several of the Ninjas, both mutated and human sprang into action.
"We must assist our Master!" they agreed, and they all grabbed and gathered what weapons they had as well as shuriken stars and kuni knives and hurried out of their respected areas to head to the throne room.
At the same time, the Chicago Knights had entered the Foot Headquarters from different sides as well as entrances, all with their weapons bared and ready to take on whoever and whatever tried to stop them.
As they entered, they kept in touch via earpieces provided to them by Hacker so they could keep in contact on each other's welfare as well as kept their phone activated so their emergency calls could be activated.
As the Ninjas ran out of their rooms, they all came face to face with a trio of Chicago Knights in the hallways and each group of three was ready to fight.
As Jake lead the way up a hallway with Amber and Sharky running behind him, they were soon confronted by several mutated Ninja.
"Hold!" Jake barked and Amber and Sharky stopped in their tracks as they saw the mutated ninja.
"Oh man, these abominations?" Amber asked in a sick voice, having had been up close and personal before with Dr Arden's many evil experiments.
"Afraid so," Jake said with a sigh.
Sharky just snarled baring his razor-sharp teeth and the mutated ninja did the same and venom drooled from their lips.
Jake glowered.
"I got this!" he said, and he quickly drew his guns and fired them at the first group of mutant ninjas who shrieked in pain as they were shot down!
As the first group went down, Amber and Sharky ran forward and used their weapons to attack the next group who were alarmed, and Jake followed suit shooting at any ninja who avoided getting stabbed or slashed.
Meanwhile, Sarah, Kate and Jack arrived at their destination and were confronted by a group of mixed human and mutated ninja.
Kate glowered as she readied her whip.
"I've taken you fuckers down before! I'll do it again!" she spat.
Sarah looked at all the ninja and she winked at Jack and Kate.
"I got this!" she said then took off at amazing speed and started to strike several ninjas with her tonfas as she ran past them.
"Nice job Spots!" Jack praised then howled as he ran into the battle, Kate meanwhile leapt through the air and struck at several ninja that avoided Sarah's speedy attacks.
"Hang in there Mikey." She thought to herself as she grabbed one mutated ninja around the neck with her whip and pulled hard breaking it "I'm on my way!"
Percy, Casey, and Heather entered their allocated side of the building and Heather flew on ahead with her katas slicing down any ninjas that came at them.
Percy used his high jumping abilities to jump on the heads and shoulders of the ninjas sending them going down like dominos.
Casey, though not as disciplined as the Knights when it came to fighting, ran into shouting his fighting call "Gongala!' (Which made his companions frown as well as think that battle cry was rather weird, even though they had heard it many times before) and smack down any ninja with his baseball bats and golf clubs and other weapons he could weld.
"Show no mercy!" Heather shouted, "We take down all the ninja we face!"
"On it!" Percy and Casey agreed as they followed the Dragonfly.
Lastly, Sephie, Devina and Sonia entered the building their side and Devina used her swarm of bats form to attack the ninjas they encountered making them scatter as well as avoid the swarm and Sephie used her archery skills to shoot down many who ran towards her and Sonia.
"Stay close alright Sonia?" Sephie reminded the youngest Knight who already had her sword drawn.
"I'll follow your leads, both of you!" the Chameleon said fervently, her green colour showing and determination in her eyes.
Devina soon reverted to her human form and punched and kicked several ninjas back before beckoning to the lizards to follow her.
Despite the attacks the ninjas received from the Chicago Knights, some were able to get out their walkie talkies and were quick to radio the upper floors to prepared for the intruders.
"Warn the Shredder! Warn the Masters!"
"Intruders! Those Mutant animal fighters have broken into the Headquarters!"
"They must not be allowed to escape!"
Meanwhile, up in the throne room, the fighting was intensifying, and more and more ninjas appeared to help the Shredder giving the Hamato Clan a harder chance to getting away.
Leonardo slashed with his katanas and stabbed as well as tried to get to Kemeko who was putting up a good fight against the ninjas, but he wanted to get her out of there as fast as possible.
Raphael stabbed with his sai as well as blocked several moves and punched and kicked when he had a chance.
Pandora had managed to retrieve her beloved Mr Swinger from Cobra and was using him to knock down several ninja as well as stab with the dart, then use her claws and tail blade.
Donatello stood with Splinter and the two fought back-to-back against Gila Monster and Nile Monitor.
"More ninja are coming up to the throne room master!" Donatello said in a worried voice as he blocked Gila Monster's claws with his bo staff.
"We must keep up the fight!" Splinter replied as he struck with his paws and tail, "And as soon as there is an opening, we must flee!"
Michelangelo managed to knock down many ninjas with his nun chucks and was soon face to face with Cobra.
Michelangelo glared as he looked at the golden snake.
"I'm gonna knock all your fangs out for laying your filthy drool on my niece!" he snarled.
Cobra cackled.
"Come on then!" she goaded and peeled back her lips ready to spit.
Monalisa slashed and stabbed many ninjas with her fans as well as fought with her tail but was soon confronted with the smirking Black Mamba.
As she faced the snake she glowered and crouched yet she soon felt sluggish, and her arms felt heavy.
It was then she saw a cut on her wrist from where she had cut her cords earlier, then she saw Black Mamba's tanto and blood on one of them.
Monalisa's heart sank when she realised and because Black Mamba always licked her blades, there would be venom on them!
"No…" she thought in fear.
Black Mamba licked her lips.
"Come on whore!" she jeered "Are we going to dance or not!?"
Monalisa shook her head and tears filled her eyes as she started to feel that this would be her last fight, but she wasn't going to give up now, if she was going to die today, she was to die fighting!
"Come on!" she spat then gathering her strength she went for the Black Snake who sheathed her tanto and grabbed her wrists before throwing her over her shoulder and slamming her onto the ground!
"HA!" Black Mamba smirked then pulled Monalisa up by the back of her neck and looked into her eyes.
"Oh how I've waited for this!" she hissed and opened her mouth baring her teeth.
Raphael punched a ninja away from him and he saw his mate at the mercy of Black Mamba over his shoulder.
"Mona! No!" he yelled in fear and turned to help.
Pandora heard her father's desperate cry and she too saw what was happening.
"MUM!" she cried in horror, and she and Raphael tried to get to Monalisa but as they did, Hanako appeared blocking their path wagging her finger.
"I don't think so!" she smirked as she unsheathed her kodachi swords.
Raphael and Pandora glared and got ready to fight Hanako as she blocked their way to Monalisa.
Dr Arden smirked as he watched then turned to Black Mamba who still held the dazed Monalisa by her neck.
"Bring her to me!" he snarled.
"Get away from her!" Donatello's voice was heard, and he kicked Gila Monster away and took out a couple of kuni knives that he threw at Dr Arden who leaned back to avoid them and he did a backflip as he did so.
That gave Donatello enough time to strike Black Mamba in the back of her neck making her drop Monalisa and fall forward.
"Mona!" Donatello ran to assist his adopted sister, but he yelled in agony as he felt the razor-sharp claws of Komodo Dragon slash the back of his arms and legs as well as leave slashes on his shell.
He fell to the floor in pain as well as looked up to see Komodo Dragon smirking at him as well as lift his large hand up to strike again.
Michelangelo saw that happen and he kicked Cobra back before leaping over to Komodo Dragon and whacking him in the head with his nun chucks.
"Cowardly move!" he screamed and the large lizard as he lost his balance fell on a group of ninjas.
Donatello nodded at Michelangelo in thanks.
"You okay bro?" he asked.
"I'll be alright!" Donatello winced "Help the others!"
Michelangelo nodded and ran back into the battle meanwhile Donatello tried to check on Monalisa who had not got back up again, and he would see she was starting to sweat and go pale.
Leonardo managed to cut several ninjas down and he soon made it to Arashi who drew his own katana and stood before the Shredder who was watching and giving orders.
"Ready to fight for your daughter Leonardo?" the second in command asking mockingly.
"Face me!" Leonardo snarled, feeling rather disgusted that Shredder was just letting Arashi defend him.
Arashi chuckled and swung his katanas.
"Very well!" he said, "See if you can get Kemeko out of here, as well as save your family!" so saying he smirked at the already downed Monalisa and the bleeding Donatello whilst Splinter and Michelangelo were shielding them to keep the other ninjas, Dr Arden and Venomous Five away.
Leonardo was worried and he wanted to help his brother and adopted sister, but he had to keep fighting.
As Shredder watched, he observed Kemeko as she fought his Ninja and glowered.
Watching her, he could see how she moved, almost like Karai did when she fought, but she had the grace and flow that Splinter and Leonardo had taught her.
"You truly are your mother's daughter." He said "I should have known you would manipulate me so you could save your family of freaks! I am a fool to think that I could bring you over to my side, as I knew in a way you would betray me!"
He gripped his spiked knuckle duster and seeing how Leonardo was occupied with Arashi, Pandora and Raphael with Hanako and Splinter and Michelangelo trying to protect the wounded Monalisa and Donatello, he decided to confront Kemeko.
"If I cannot have you." The Shredder snarled "No-one can!"
So the Chicago Knights have entered the Foot Headquarters and have taken down the first lot of Ninjas they have encountered, but they still got to make it to the top to get to the Hamato Clan!
So far, Monalisa has fallen and Donatello's not far behind having been slashed badly!
Meanwhile the Shredder has decided because Kemeko betrayed him, he has decided a worse fate!
How will things go from here, and what is Tyroth's plan as he's not put it into motion yet?
