AUTHORS NOTE: Ok so I got a guest review (ya'll can check it out in the reviews section) asking if I'm gonna write the actual wedding in this story. Well, to answer that question, I am. I just wanted to answer that question because I don't like it when I don't get a question answered, and I know that there's a lot of people like me.

"Alright, do we have everything?" Leeli asked.

"I know I do." Janner replied.

"So do I." Sara said.

"Eh, if I do, I do, and if I don't, I don't." Kalmer said, making the other three roll their eyes at him.

The young adults were about to board the carriage that was going to take them to Lorryshire. Leeli was usually the one that was most prepared, so she made it a habit to double-check with everyone else concering things that they might need. But, it was usually Kal that would forget something.

"You don't sound like you care much about it Kal." Kalmer turned around to see Maraly walk up. She was dressed as if she was going along too.

"Well, to be frank-"

"Kal, you're never prepared! Remember the time that we went camping and you forgot your tent?" Maraly said.

Janner chuckled. "He also forgot his other set of clothes that time too."

Sara laughed.

"I'm just sayin', make sure ye're prepared." Maraly ended her "lecture" with that.

"I am pretty sure that I'm prepared. But thanks for the reminder Mar." Kalmer said.

"Mmhmm." Maraly nodded her head.

"Hey! You wanna come with us? There's plenty of room!" Kal said.

Maraly considered this. "Well, I guess I can." And with that, she hoped into the carriage.

"Don't you need a bag?" Sara asked.

Maraly stuck her arm out of the door of the carriage and pointed to the top of it, where they were to put their bags.

"Oh." Sara smiled while nodding her head. On the top of the carriage there was a small, brown satchel, the same likeness to the ones that Janner and Sara had.

Kalmer tossed his and Leeli's bags onto the top of the carriage while Sara and Janner climbed in. Once Leeli and Kal were in, the guards who were to drive the carriage tied all of the bags down, then snapped he reigns and drove the carriage out of the castle courtyard.

Kalmer go bored within the first five minutes of the ride. In the middle of the seats in the carriage (the seats faced each other) there was a fold-out table, so Kal and Maraly decided to play cards on it. Janner and Sara fell asleep leaning on each other (they were sitting next to each other as usual) and Leeli decided to join in on the card game. The ride went smoothly for the first hour.

And then things went downhill, almost literally.

"Nia!" Artham ran down the halls of Castle Rysen, calling his sister-in-law's name. After a few moments he finally found her in the kitchen helping Jessy prepare dinner.

"Artham, what's wrong?" Nia asked.

Artham shook his head. "A guard reported several pirate ships spotted in the coast. They're heading straight for us!"

"Are you sure they're pirate ships? What if they are Hollish?" Nia said.

"The guard stated that he say the Symian flag being flown from every ships mainmast."

"How many ships?"

"The guard said at least 30."

"30?!"

"30." Artham sat down. "But that's not all."

Nia looked him in the eyes. "Artham..."

"Several town soldiers said that they've noticed more carriages getting robbed. The people that were on them, well they haven't been found yet."

Nia took this all in calmly. Her children were just sent on a carriage o another town. Not that, but the Jewels of Anniera were just sent to pass through a dangerous area. She and Artham knew that they were in grave danger.

"Nia, the jewels." Artham said.

Nia sighed. "I know. But, all we can do now is pray to the Maker for their safety."

After a few moments Jessy spoke up. "Throne Warden, do you think that there is a connection to the carriage robbers and the pirates?"

Artham thought about what she has said. "I didn't think of that! I'll be rig back to talk to the Captain of the Guard." And with that he ran out of there.

"I'm sure they'll be fine, Your Majesty." Jessy assured Nia.

Nia nodded and forced a smile. "I surely hope so."
