RainyDayReading342: Oo, I am super excited about the wedding approaching. But when they thought they were going to get attacked in the carriage was that settup? And the hooded rider?

Also I would love to see a developing Kal x Maraly as this story goes on. This is progressing well! Yay!

A/N: Well, I'm glad you like it! When they were going to get attacked, that was all settup, and Janner was the only one who didn't know that lol. And the hooded rider, well, you'll just have to keep reading the story!

Also I don't really know if I'm really going to do a Kal x Maraly. I honestly feel like Kal and Mar are better as friends. And I honestly kind of ship Kal x Galya (she's the former Fang Nuzzard, mentioned at the end of book 4) because, well both of them were former Fangs, so they would probably have a better understanding of each other. And Kal did save her life, so that might add to their "romance".

Thanks for reading my story!

"So, there's something I don't get." Janner said to no one in particular. The family had taken two carriages to head back to the castle, and Janner was put with Kalmar, Sara (obviously), Maraly, and Leeli.

"What's that?" Sara asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"Well, why those soldiers left the carriage, and who was shooting arrows at the carriage."

"Oh! Yeah that was set up." Kalmar said.

"Really?" Janner looked surprised.

Leeli smiled. "It was all a part of trying to get you to Lorryshire. For your party."

"Hmm. So, everything, including the 'assassination attempt' on Kal was all set up?"

"Yep."

Janner leaned back in his seat. "Dang, you guys went to a lot of trouble for that."

"Well, that's true. You're welcome." Kal said, very pleased with himself.

"But, there's something I don't get." Sara said.

Janner turned to her. "What's that?"

"Well, when I was riding to Lorryshire to let everyone know that you were on your way and that the plan had so far worked, I ran into a hooded rider."

"A hooded rider?"

"Yeah, and he kept following me for a little bit, until I was on the outskirts of Lorryshire. Then he sped off, and left."

"Oh, yeah that was Arundelle." Maraly stated.

Sara looked at her. "Arundelle?"

"Yeah, Nia sent her to go see where you were, that way she could let the other women know for your party."

Sara nodded her head. "That makes sense, though I didn't know Arundelle was such a good rider."

"Well, she is." Janner laughed.

The carriages drove for another hour before they finally reached Castle Rysen. Once everyone was in the castle, they all went to bed immediately.
