"Oh no..." Janner said, unable to think, or feel.

All he knew was the voices of the Dragons, asking for help.

Help us Throne Warden! They cried.

"I can't..." Janner said, shaking his head. He turned and saw a Fang slowly making his way to the door that led inside the room. He ran and killed it before it had the chance at getting inside.

"Janner look out!" Sara said.

Janner turned to his left as saw a Fang charging at him. Unlike the others, this was a Grey Fang. It raised its sword, but Janner had the chance to take his and block the swipe.

But, the Fang had another sword, hidden behind its back.

It took the opportunity, and swiped at Janner. The sword cut the side of Janner's leg, causing him to stagger backward. Sara saw that, and shot an arrow at the Fang. She rushed to Janner, worried.

"You alright?" She asked.

"Yeah, I think so...actually, no, not really." Janner said, wincing with pain.

"Hold on." Sara took one of his arms, and wrapped it over her shoulders, leading him inside.

Artham, Gammon, Kalmar, and Maraly held the rest of the Fangs off, and soon the lizards retreated. They all headed to the safe room.

The safe room was a small, box-like room hidden underground, under the castle. There were secret passageways throughout the castle, but only one of them led to the safe room.

Once the entire family was safe in the room, Sara and Nia set to bandaging Janner's wounded leg. The cut was long, and deep. It reminded Janner of when he had jumped into the Dark Sea of Darkness, to save Kal.

"There," Nia said, tying off the ends of the bandage. "You're cut should be healed within a matter of days."

"Thanks." Janner said, quietly.

Nia got of and went to talk with Artham. But Sara stayed behind with Janner.

"You sure you're okay?" She asked, once Nia had left them.

"Sort of. I'm just glad everyone else is alright." He replied. He leaned himself back on the wall of the room. "I just wonder..."

"What?" Sara asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.

He wrapped an arm around her. "How the Fangs managed to regroup."

"I think that everyone is wondering that." Sara added, grabbing a blanket that was beside her and putting it on top of them. "We'll probably find out soon."

"Let's hope so."
