And so, the Wingfeather family headed back to the Castle Rysen. The troops decided to come with them, to offer their protection from the Fangs. Once the family arrived back home, they set to fixing the castle, and providing refuge for the Annierans. Since they had a lot of help from the Rysentown civilians, and the soldiers, the castle (at least the parts that needed fixing) were fixed in no time. Soon, Annierans from all over took refuge in the castle. The royal family had control over the castle.
But the question that was going through their heads was, 'Where are Maraly and Gammon?'
The two had gone off to summon their ship, which, as Gammon said, was loaded with Kimerans.
Not to mention, wouldn't the Green Hollows have noticed that the Annieran ships had stopped going to Ban Rona completely?
And, if the Green Hollows had known that something was up, why hadn't they sent help yet?
These were the questions running through everyone's mind.
Already, the royal family had control over a large part of Anniera. Some of the towns were already going on with regular life.
"Uncle Artham, I have an idea." Janner said randomly one day.
Artham stopped what he was doing. "What's that?"
"Well, since we have control over most of Anniera, why don't we try to send a ship to Ban Rona?"
Artham thought about it. "That's not a bad idea..."
"And if we could restore communications with them, they could possibly send some Hollish warriors to help us finish the Fangs off."
Artham smiled. "Let's talk it over with your brother, and everyone else. See what they think."
Janner nodded his head, then went back to reading.
Well, when Janner presented the idea to his family, the vote was unanimous.
To send a ship out.
Kalmar went through and selected some of the best sailors out of the Annieran soldiers. Since the Annieran ships were small and fast, he only selected 7 men to run a ship. It was ne of the bigger ships, hidden in a small sea-port on the river Rysen. Janner begged his brother to send him with them, since he loved sailing. After a while, Kal agreed.
And so all they had to do was (1) make a plan and (2) distract the Fang ships long enough for the Annieran ship to get out.
