A/N: So, since school's out, I should be updating much more. I've been really busy, so, in case you're wondering why I haven't been updating too much.

Also this is a much longer chapter, I've been meaning to write my chapters longer, because I just hate the short ones lol.

Now time for the reviews!

Guest: this is an amazing story, I love it so much. I've read the entire wingfeather saga, and it feels like you are continuing the story from where it ended! SSSSSOOOOOOO GGGOOOOOOOOOOD

Author's reply: I'm glad everyone likes it! Now, we are about to reach the climax in the plot line of this story... or are we *evilly chuckles*

Now, I know most of you are probably tired of the plot-twists that I've put in, so to help with that...

I'm putting in more :)

Just kidding, well, there might be a few, but I'll try to keep it to a minimum. I just love plot twists, so, yeah.

But I think I hear wedding bells in the distance xD

Also I just realized that Oskar hasn't really been in this story. I don't even remember if he was in the safe room with the family...so... *nervously chuckled*

Since Janner was going to leave soon, to sail to the Green Hollows with the Annieran soldiers to get help, the Wingfeather family decided to have a small dinner to themselves, then talk afterward in the family room.

Nia and Arundelle prepared a large turkey that Janner had hunted earlier.

The family ate the dinner, which besides the turkey, had many delicious sides. Nia had said that the family should enjoy themselves before Janner left.

The main reason being, that what he was doing was so risky, he might get caught.

Or not come back at all.

The family ate dinner, then they all talked in the family room. Nia, Artham, and Arundelle talked amongst themselves, and Kal and Leeli were playing some cards.

Janner and Sara were having some very important conversations.

"Are you sure you should go?" Sara asked quietly.

Janner warily nodded his head. "They need my help. And, partially so I can convince the Keeper to send help."

Sara sighed, then leaned her head on his shoulder. "You should do what's best. But, also what's safest."

Janner wrapped an arm around her. "Sometimes those two aren't the same."

"That's the problem though."

Janner sighed. "It is."

And everyone ended up falling asleep in the family room.

In the morning, nobody wanted to wake Janner and Sara up. They had fallen asleep long after everyone else had.

Janner had his arms wrapped around Sara, who had her head leaned on his shoulder. It was a sweet sight.

The two eventually woke up, and headed to the kitchen to grab breakfast. They found the rest of the Wingfeather family there, already eating.

"Thanks for waking us." Janner said sarcastically to Kal.

Kal rolled his eyes. "I would've, but Ma said not to."

Janner smiled amusedly as he sat next to Sara and was served a plate of eggs and sausage.

"So, when do I leave?" Janner asked after a moment.

The question left an awkward silence before Kal answered.

"The sailors are gonna leave in an hour," He said. "But you don't have to go if you don't want to."

Janner shook his head. "I'm going. I need to."

"But why?" Leeli asked.

"So I can convince Keeper Bunge to help us. He still doesn't like us, so it'd be best if a member of this family was there to talk to him."

Everyone remained silent, even though they knew what he said was true.

Once Janner had packed his bag, he began to walk to the family room, to say his goodbyes. It would be too much of a risk to have the family outside, exposed, by the dock of the River Rysen, so Janner decided to say his goodbyes in the safety of the castle.

There was not a dry eye amongst his family.

Everyone tried to convince him to stay, but Janner refused. No one else in his family was willing to go to the Hollows, to convince the Keeper to send help. So someone had to go.

"Son," Nia said as she hugged him. "Stay safe. Please. I can't bear to loose you again."

Janner knew what she meant.

He nodded his head. "I will."

He then hugged Artham and Arundelle.

"Lad, remember what I taught you." Artham said.

Janner smiled. "I will."

He turned to hug Kal.

"Don't go jump into some adventure," Kal sniffled. "I want in on any adventures you go on."

Janner grinned. "Alright. I'll try."

Kal grinned back as he wiped a few stray tears away.

Janner turned to hug Leeli.

"Janner, I swear, if you get hurt," Leeli said. "I'll kill whoever hurt you."

Janner chuckled. "I'm sure you will. And I wont get hurt."

Leeli nodded her head as she backed away.

Janner sighed. The hardest goodbye still awaited.

He turned to Sara, who was holding back many tears. He hugged her, and she let them out. Everyone else decided to give them a minute, and left the family room.

"Sara, I'm sure I'll be fine." Janner said, trying to comfort her as he hugged her tightly.

"That's the thing," She said. "You're only sure. You're not positive, or you don't know for a fact that you wont get hurt."

Janner sighed. "I'll try my best not to get hurt."

Sara nodded her head. "Thank you."

She hugged him tighter. "Stay safe. I love you."

"I will. I love you too."

And then he let go of her, and before she knew it, he was gone.

Gone into a very dangerous situation.
