To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.

After the fight with Shellmon, the digidestined and their digimon were standing on a cliff, staring out at the ocean. "We've almost searched the whole island and we still haven't found any people." thought Tai. "Just some monsters with attitude but they couldn't beat our digimon friends who could turn into these awesome fighters. Like when Agumon digivolved into Greymon and kicked Shellmon to the curb. He was so cool. Yo Agumon."
"What's up, Tai?" asked Agumon.
"I like it when you're Greymon. No offense, but why don't you just stay that way?" Tai asked him.
"I can't but even superheroes need a rest." said Agumon, causing Tai to trip forward and nearly falls off a cliff when suddenly Agumon grabs Tai by his shirt. Everyone started laughing at what happened between the two when they suddenly heard something roar behind them. A second later, an Ankylosaur-like digimon smashed through a rock.
"Who's that digimon?" Izzy asked Tentomon.
"It's Monochromon, but don't worry about him, he's a laid back digimon. Although it is wise to be a bit cautious with a Monochromon. They do tend to get a bit miffed when they're hungry." explained Tentomon.
"Then he must be starving cause he looks really mad." said Tai.
"And I think he wants to eat us." said Mimi but then a second Monochromon appeared.
"There's two of them." said Joe.
"We're caught between a rock and two sets of teeth." said Matt and the two Monochromon started to charge at each other, while the kids and their digimon run away.
"Something must have set those Monochromon off." said Tai.
"They're fighting over territory." said Tentomon.
"They can just have it then." said Palmon.
"Yeah." said Keiko and Renamon.
"Hey, don't leave without me!" said Mimi, running next to her digimon with the others following them.
"They definitely don't need us hanging around." said Tai. As they continued to run, T.K. trips, causing him to fall to the ground.
"T.K., come on!" shouted Matt, worried about his little brother.
"Better hurry up, you guys." said Tai.
"Okay. We're comin'." replied T.K. and runs with Matt close behind. Meanwhile both Monochromon continued to battle each other but then both fell over the edge of the cliff and into the water below.
After a while, the sun begins to set. "I don't walk this much unless I'm at a mall. And as you can see, we're nowhere near one." whined Mimi as she leaned against a tree.
"Mimi, stop whining." said Tai, walking on.
"No, my feet hurt!" she shouted.
"Then don't complain about it." mumbled Keiko.
"And don't shout about it either." grumbled Renamon.
"Maybe if you took off your boots and socks, you feel better Mimi. It's much more practical I think." said Agumon.
"I'm not walking, dirtying my bare feet!" huffed Mimi.
"I love the feel of dirt under my feet, especially between my toes." said Palmon.
"Gross!" exclaimed Mimi.
"It appears we may be losing our light source." said Izzy, looking up at the sky.
"What a weird sunset." added Sora, seeing the sky lit up in different colors.
"This whole island is weird and who knows what will come out at night." said Izzy.
"Wait, I detect water! Stay here while I'll check it out." said Tentomon and flies up higher over the tree line to get a better look. "Yes, as usual I'm right; it's a lake with fresh clean water and a variety of tasty fish. It's a perfect campsite."
"Finally I can soak my poor achy feet." said Mimi.
"Yeah! We get to swim!" said Gomamon but Joe pulls him back by his tail.
"Gomamon, you better wait and make sure it's safe first." said Joe.
"That's why I think we should keep walking and stop all the complaining." said Matt.
"Everybody's hungry and we have to find some food." said Tai.
"And that's a good plan. I like that plan a lot." said Joe.
After they arrived at the lake, they all agreed to find shelter and food. "It should be safe here." said Biyomon.
"Yeah, I love camping outside." said Sora.
"If I won't walk in dirt, what makes you think I'll sleep in it?" Mimi asked the others.
"Mimi, do you see a hotel here?" Tai asked but then hears the sound of an engine nearby. "Huh? What's that?"
"Is that a…trolley car?" asked T.K.
"Yeah. But that's odd, the lights just came on." said Izzy.
"Maybe there's some real people in there." suggested Sora.
"Let's check it out." said Tai as he, Agumon and the others run over to it.
"Maybe it can take itself home. In air condition comfort." said Mimi.
"Mimi, wait up!" yelled Tai, once he's inside. "Bummer, its empty!"
"Totally empty." Sora said in agreement.
"No trolley car's this clean." said Izzy, inspecting the floors.
"Who would leave a trolley car here in the middle of a lake?" asked Keiko. "Better yet, why leave it in a lake?"
"I'm curious to know how it got in the lake." said Renamon.
"Yeah…how did it get in the lake?" asked Keiko.
"Good question." said T.K.
"Oh goodie. These cushions are comfy." said Mimi.
"Something's wrong. Remember those weird phone booths on the beach?" asked Tai. "Something just as freaky could happen here."
"Yeah, like this suddenly moving by itself." said Joe from the driver's seat of the trolley with Biyomon on the other side of the window.
"Possibly. Then again, maybe that's how we'll get home. " said Tai.
"Though, we have nothing to lose by sitting here." said Sora with Tentomon next to her.
"Oh, can we eat now?" asked Tentomon.
"That's right, I forgot." said Tai.
Izzy, T.K., and Keiko decided to fish for food. "Gomamon, stop playing in the water!" yelled Izzy. "I can't catch any fish if you keep warning them away!"
"Yum, Yum. You can't get too many berries, down the hatch." said Tentomon, eating some berries on a tree branch.
Patamon used his attack to get a berry down from a tree when it suddenly hits Gabumon's horn, causing him to groan. "You better watch you killer attack, Patamon." Biyomon said as she goes off and gets a berry from a nearby tree branch.
"Those are bad mushrooms. You shouldn't pick 'em." Palmon warned Mimi as she was about to pick some. "They'll make you sick."
"I'd be a big mess without you, Palmon. You're the best." said Mimi, smiling.
"We're all set to cook dinner. What we need is the grub." said Matt.
"So, how are we going to light a fire?" asked Sora.
"Like this." said Agumon and started the fire.
"Great job, Agumon. You're the man." said Tai.
"Hey, look it." said T.K. as he, Izzy and Keiko ran up to the others.
"We caught a bunch of fish." said Izzy.
"Yummy!" said Keiko, holding some of the fish in her hands.
"Awesome Izzy, let's eat them." said Tai and ruffles his sister's hair.
"Thanks squirt." said Matt as he gets the fish from T.K.
Tai was dangling a fish over the fire. "This is where I wish we had a microwave." he said.
"Me too because you're about to lose your fingers." said Matt. "Why don't you use a stick."
"Good idea, Matt." said Keiko.
"That's better that seeing him try to lose a hand." said Renamon, glaring at Keiko's brother.
"Where did you come up with that, Matt?" asked Tai.
"Cause I'm the man." he tells him as he places the fish on the stick near the fire to cook.
The sun had finally set and the moon was in the sky. "This is surprisingly good." said Tentomon as he and Biyomon were eating fruit. The others were munching on the fish.
"Delicious." said Izzy.
"Matt, at home mom only lets me eat fish sticks." said T.K.
"I won't tell." said Matt.
"And never eat with my hands." T.K. added.
"T.K. it's alright." Matt tells him.
"That's right. You're eating with the big boys now." said Tai.
"Okay." replied T.K. and digs in.
"Tai, I don't think I can eat all of this." said Keiko, looking down at the fish in front of her.
"Don't worry about it. You don't have to eat it all, eat as much as you can." said Tai, smiling at his sister.
"And if you can't finish it, I'll eat it." said Renamon.
"You got it, Renamon." said Keiko, taking another bite. Meanwhile Sora was at the water's edge with a bamboo stick. "Hey Sora." said Tai, walking up to her.
"Hey." she replied.
"Matt doesn't treat T.K. like he's a brother, only like he's a bother." said Tai. "Is it just me or have you noticed that too?"
"Yeah. Matt's still learning how to be a big brother." said Sora.
"Maybe." said Tai, when Joe suddenly walks up, yawning and looks at the sky.
"Hey Joe. Whatcha looking at?" asked Sora.
"I've been trying to figure out which way we've been going but the stars are all mixed up." said Joe. "I haven't been able to find the North Star anywhere."
"I know. I don't recognize any of these constellations." said Sora.
"You're forgetting getting your astronomy. If you can't see the north star, then it must be on the other side of the world." said Tai.
"Do you think we could be in the southern hemisphere?" asked Sora.
"Yes, I guess it's possible. That is if we're still on earth." said Joe.
"What does that supposed to mean?" asked Tai. Suddenly, Patamon starts to yawn, causing Renamon to yawn as well.
"Look, Patamon's tired." said T.K., looking around to see that everyone was tired as well.
"I'm getting really tired myself." said Tai, stretching as Keiko starts yawning after Renamon.
"Renamon's tired too." said Keiko.
"Wait a second; I think we should take turns standing guard." said Izzy.
"Alright, so who wants to go first?" asked Joe.
"How about if each of us stands guard for about an hour?" suggested Tai.
"Not T.K.!" said Matt.
"Aw, come on. Me too, Matt." said T.K.
"No, you're too young and you need your rest." said Matt and Tai turns to Keiko.
"Why would I be a lookout at night? I would rather do it during the day." she tells him.
"Good, you don't need to stay up that late." he said.
"No argument from me." said Keiko.
"I'm getting cold. I need a warm blanket to help me sleep." said Mimi.
"Hey Gabumon, watch out or Mimi might try to steal your fur." said Tai, teasing the poor digimon. "So if you feel a little tug, it might be her about to cut your tail off."
"Stop Tai, that's not funny." said Gabumon and runs behind Matt.
"Quit it!" shouted Matt and pushes Tai.
"What are you bugging about?" Tai asked.
"Gabumon told you to stop!" shouted Matt. "So knock it off."
"You can't tell me what to do." said Tai.
"You guys, stop fighting!" yelled T.K.
"You both make great guards. Who goes first?" asked Joe.
"I will!" Tai quickly said.
"I'm next!" said Matt.
"How about if Izzy takes over after that and I'll finish up the night." said Joe. "Now I propose we all trip back to the bus and get some shut eye."
"I can't sleep with all of you here!" Mimi complained about their digimon sleeping on leaves on the floor of the trolley.
"Quit complaining." Sora tells her. "So it's not perfect, just be glad we have a place to sleep."
"That's right, Mimi." said Izzy.
"Good night." said Joe.
"Good night, everyone." said Keiko as she and Renamon were huddled together not too far away from T.K.
"Don't let the Monochromon bite." said T.K. and he falls asleep.
"Thanks for reminding me, T.K." said Sora and looks over her shoulder to see Tai and Agumon by a fire.
"My feet still hurt." said Mimi.
"Why is there a trolley here? Maybe it's the aliens. Maybe they knew we needed it." said Izzy
"I hope I don't catch any monster cooties." said Joe, taking off his glasses and closes his eyes.
"Gabumon?" asked Matt.
"Yeah?"
"Go over and lay down with my brother." Matt told him.
"Why, Matt?" asked Gabumon.
"Because your fur is making me sweat. Now go." said Matt in frustration.
"Because you want me to keep T.K. warm." he corrected him.
"Hey, I didn't said that!" Matt quietly yelled.
"You just don't want to admit it." said Gabumon.
"Whatever." said Matt as Gabumon walks over to T.K., causing him to wake up.
"Thanks Matt." said T.K. looking over at Matt, who then looks away in embarrassment.
Suddenly the trolley powers down and the fog around the area clears up. Meanwhile Tai and Agumon are sitting next to the fire, Tai was starting to fall asleep sitting up. "Tai, you don't want to fall asleep on your first night watch." said Agumon as Tai yawned.
"My eyes won't stay open. I'm going to the lake and splash some water on my face." Tai tells Agumon as he unknowingly walks over what looks like a red tail. As Tai rubbed his eyes with the water in his hands, he notices someone nearby.
"Huh? Who's there?" asked Tai, then recognized who it was. "Oh, Matt…don't you think I can handle this?"
"I couldn't sleep." Matt simply said to him.
"Oh and why not?" Tai asked as he ran up.
"Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to get so mad. It's just being here and having to watch T.K." Matt explained before taking off to the bridge away from the island.
"Do you guys even live in the same house?" asked Tai.
"Not anymore." he said, looking over his shoulder. "We're half-brothers and we don't get to see each other much.
"That explains a lot." said Tai and Matt suddenly takes off. "Matt's a little strange."
In the distance, Tai and Agumon heard a harmonica being played. He then turned to see that Matt was the one playing it with Gabumon sitting next to him.
"What a wonderful sound." said Gabumon as Matt keeps playing.
"Maybe to a Saint Bernard with a horn on his forehead." said Tai.
Tai and Agumon were sitting by the fire again when it begins to spark and a piece of wood jumps out of the fire, landing on the red tail. The ground begins to shake and the water around the island becomes small waves.
"Hey!" shouted Tai.
"Oh no!" yelled Matt as seeing something coming out of the water, a huge dragon-like creature who growled at the sight of Tai.
"What's that horrible sound?" asked Sora.
"I was having a good dream of being back home and hanging out with Kari." said Keiko.
"Was I in the dream?" asked Renamon.
"It's an earthquake." said Mimi.
"The trolley's starting to move and I don't think it's taking us home." said Joe.
"It's taking us towards that sea monster!" shouted Izzy.
"Oh no, it's Seadramon!" said Tentomon.
"We're going to get eaten for sure." said Mimi.
"The lands moving!" exclaimed Matt as Seadramon pulls the island away with everyone but Matt and Gabumon on it.
"Hold tight, we're going for a ride." said Agumon.
"It's like we're on a monster longboard." said Tai.
"He's pulling us along by his tail! I don't think he even realizes that we're here." said Izzy.
"Perhaps not, he's pretty dense." said Tentomon. "As long as he doesn't see us, we should be safe."
"Don't be too sure." said Agumon.
"You guys jinxed us. Now he knows we're here." said Tentomon, standing in Seadramon's tail.
"What? I didn't do anything." said Tai.
"I guess he does know we're here." said Izzy.
"Ah! That big red thing was his tail." said Tai.
"It wasn't my fault." said Tentomon.
"He's coming back and he's not happy." said Tai as Seadramon swims towards them. He's now livid, more than ever and pushes the island back towards the shore.
"We're going to crash into the shore!" shouted Joe.
"This is really going to mess up my hair." said Mimi.
"I don't want to die!" screamed Keiko.
"I have so much to live for!" screamed Renamon.
"T.K.!" Matt cried out to his little brother and dives into the water.
"Matt, I'm just letting you know my fur's gonna get wet and I'm gonna stink." said Gabumon before jumping in.
"Great, he left us in the middle of the lake." said Tai.
"I don't suppose we can trick him into taking us back." said Izzy.
"Get ready, he's attacking." Tai tells him.
"Come on guys. Let's send him back!" yelled Agumon.
"Spiral Twister! Diamond Storm! Boom Bubble!" shouted Biyomon, Renamon, and Patamon as they attacked first but barely made a scratch on his face.
"Poison Ivy!" shouted Palmon as she tries her attack, but her vines couldn't reach.
"Super Shocker!" shouted Tentomon as he flies up and attacks from above.
"Pepper Breath!" shouted Agumon, sending his fireball at him.
"Agumon, digivolve." said Tai.
"I'm trying but I can't seem to do it this time, Tai." said Agumon.
"You have to." he tells him.
"Maybe my body hasn't recovered from the last fight." Agumon said.
"If you can't help us, how are we going to stop Seadramon?" asked Tai.
"T.K.! Over here!" yelled Matt, as he swims towards the others.
"Matt!" shouted T.K. and runs to the edge. "Be careful or the monster will…" Suddenly, T.K. falls into the water.
"T.K.!" shouted Matt as Gomamon gets him back to the surface.
"Gomamon, go!" said Joe.
"Get out Matt." said Tai.
"Get out. Its Seadramon, he's back." said Tentomon.
"Gomamon, do it." said Matt as Gomamon takes T.K. back to dry land and starts creating a distraction. "Hey! Over here you over-grown water lizard!"
"Blue Blaster! Ha!" shouted Gabumon, sending his attack at Seadramon's face but gets sent flying back to the island. "I hate this!"
Seadramon quickly pulls Matt underwater. "It's my fault. Matt was only trying to save me. I'll never forgive myself." T.K. said to the others, but Seadramon pulls a screaming Matt out of the water with his tail.
"Oh no." said Tai.
"This is not good! Seadramon maybe a bubble-brain but once he has his prey, he won't let go." said Tentomon.
"Matt, hang on! Patamon, please help him. Hit him with a Boom Bubble." T.K. said to his digimon.
"Seadramon's just too big, I don't have enough power now." said Patamon.
"Renamon, can you do it with your Diamond Storm?" asked Keiko.
"I'm with Patamon on this. It barely even phased him." said Renamon, pointing to Seadramon.
"Gabumon, you're stronger. How about you?" Patamon asked him.
"You're right. Matt is in trouble and I must help." said Gabumon.
"Gabumon!" Matt cried out.
"Don't give up. I'll save you if it's the last thing I do." said T.K.
"Matt! Hold on!" Gabumon cried out. "I don't understand any of this. I have to save Matt. What's a little stinky fur compared to a friend like him?" Suddenly Matt's digivice starts glowing.
"Matt!" screamed Gabumon.
"Gabumon!" shouted Matt.
"Gabumon digivolve to…Garurumon!" shouted Garurumon as he becomes a large wolf like beast with periwinkle fur and dark blue stripes, pink claws and a curly tail.
Garurumon attacks Seadramon, causing him to let go of Matt. "Are you alright, Matt?" asked T.K. as he hugged his brother.
"Yeah, but where's Gabumon?" asked Matt and Keiko points out to the lake.
"He's pretty." said Keiko.
"I wonder if I'll be like that." said Renamon.
"I hope so, Renamon. I bet you'll be beautiful." said Keiko.
"Garurumon's fur is legendary; it's said to be strong as steel. He's like a growling torpedo." said Tentomon about Garurumon.
"That's astonishing! Then he must be invincible." said Izzy.
"That's what I've heard." said Tentomon as Garurumon swims away with Seadramon on his tail. "We'll soon find out."
"I hope you're not exaggerating, Tentomon. Or it'll be one of you wild fish tales again." said Tai.
"It could be." said Agumon.
"But I heard about it." He tells them.
"From who, Tentomon?" asked Renamon as Seadramon fires his Icy Blast at him, covering him in ice.
"Seadramon's using his deadly Ice Blast." Tentomon exclaimed.
"Howling Blaster! Rah!" bellowed Garurumon as he shook off the ice and fired a blue stream of an icy flame towards Seadramon, defeating him.
"Gabumon!" said Matt, happily.
"Fine way to keep my fur dry." said Gabumon once he was back on solid ground.
"You digivolved into Garurumon just in time." Matt tells him.
"Gabumon, thanks for saving my brother." said T.K.
"Any time little friend." Gabumon said, smiling.
"Matt, you were so awesome against that monster." TK said to him.
"You think so?" Matt asked.
"You the man." said Gabumon.
"And you the wolf man." added Matt, causing him and the others to laugh.
"Very funny." said Joe. "But how are we supposed to get back?"
"Just watch." said Gomamon as he dives into the water. "Fish Power!" His fish friends came to the rescue and brings the island back to the main land.
The digidestined then discovered something. "Gabumon, may I use you as a pillow? I promise I won't take your fur." said Mimi.
"Actually, there seems to be a pattern here." said Izzy, sitting in front of Tai's legs. "This time, only Gabumon could digivolve."
"Yeah, Izzy's right. Agumon was the only one who could do it before." said Sora. Tai thinks back to when Agumon first digivolved.
[Flashback]
Tai grunts as Shellmon tightens his grip on him.
"Hang on!" said Agumon.
"Can't breathe." said Tai.
"Greymon!" shouted Agumon and starts to glow with Tai's digivice.
"Get me out of here!" said Tai.
The two Champion level digimon then battled it out with Greymon firing his Nova Blast at Shellmon.
[Flashback ends]
"You're right. It's beginning to make sense." said Tai. "Agumon digivolved when I was in danger."
"That has to be the answer. Our digimon digivolves when we're in danger." said Izzy who was now sitting next to Sora.
"Wow, that must be it." said Sora when suddenly Mimi falls onto her shoulder. "Hey, watch it!"
"Is it time to go to the mall?" Mimi asked in her sleep with Palmon resting at her side.
"No Mimi, but you will at some point." said Keiko as she and Renamon snuggle up against Tai.
"I don't know if that's all she ever thinks about." said a sleepy Renamon.
"We've been here one day and I think she's put on some muscle on her." commented Sora.
"Yeah, maybe if she put in some effort, she'll become a hard body machine like I am." said Agumon.
"I hope she grows pink wings just like my wings." said Biyomon from a tree branch.
"You must be kidding." said Mimi and then falls asleep with everyone falling after her one by one.
Tai was tired as well as he places an arm around Sakura but then hears the sound from Matt's harmonica playing. Tai looks over to see Matt, T.K., Patamon and Gabumon all leaning against each other while T.K. and the two digimon sleep. "(Yawns) Big bro…you're the best." said T.K. in his sleep, causing Matt to smile behind his harmonica.
