To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.
I DONT OWN DIGIMON: DIGITAL MONSTERS! I ONLY OWN THE OC AND THE OC ALONE!
Shoutouts:
The digidestined and their digimon were all exhausted from wandering around. "We've passed this place before." said Sora.
"You mean we've walked around the whole planet?" Joe asked loudly.
"That just can't be…I can't walk that far, can I? I'm so tired." said Mimi on her knees as Palmon, Gomamon, T.K. and Keiko stood around her.
"My feet are hot." said T.K. as Patamon lands on his knees.
"I knew I should have brought an umbrella." said Keiko, dragging her feet as Renamon started panting and dragging her feet.
"Looks like we're taking another break." said Matt.
"Well, it's not like we have someplace to be." said Sora.
"I guess you're right. There's no reason to hurry." said Tai.
"Check out Izzy. I bet he's trying to email the aliens." said Matt as they looked over at Izzy.
"I'm guessing he's trying to beam up." Tai added.
"Still crashed and the warranty's expired." said Izzy, frowning at his laptop.
"Hey Izzy, I know how to get it to boot up. You just have to give it a few adjustments." said Tai as he repeatedly slaps Izzy's laptop.
"I can't believe he just did that." said Keiko, frowning at her brother.
"No wonder he's your brother." said Renamon.
"When we get home, I'm going to start hiding my things from him." said Keiko.
"Hey, quit it!" yelled Izzy as he grabs his laptop and backs away from Tai. "Are your brain cells malfunctioning?"
"Gosh, you act like I'm hurting the dumb thing." said Tai.
"Says the brother who wanted to send me or Kari to live with grandma." grumbled Keiko.
"He did what?" asked Sora, giving Tai a 'Why' look.
"He wanted me or Kari to live grandma just because he didn't like having two sisters at home." said Keiko. "But he got caught in the end when he tried to ask grandma to come pick me up."
"Mom was mad at me for a month." said Tai.
"You knew you had that coming, right?" she tells him.
"Too bad your brain isn't as big as your hair." said Sora. "Maybe Izzy doesn't want grimy finger prints and dents all over his computer."
"Huh? Hmm." said Tai as he looks out into the distance and sees smoke. "Hey, look! You guys see that smoke over there? I'll check it out."
"Wait for us, Tai!" said Agumon, Keiko and Renamon as they ran after him.
"The attention span of a nat." said Joe. "But on the other hand, at least Keiko is nice."
"Ah whatever." said Matt.
Meanwhile, Izzy continues to type away on his laptop when something happens. "Ah! We've got graphics, we've got sound. Beautiful! Up and running." said Izzy then sees the battery icon flashing. "Huh? But it indicates that the battery needs recharging. Oh, that's odd."
"Hey everybody, come over quick and check this out!" yelled Tai.
"We're coming, you guys!" yelled Sora as she and the others ran towards their friends to see a huge factory.
"Looks like some kind of factory." said Joe.
"Let's hope they can manufacture a way for us to get home." said Matt.
"Hmm, what do you suppose they make there?" asked Joe as they walked up to the front of the factory.
"I don't know but wouldn't it be great if there's a manufacture outlet store? They always have killer deals." said Mimi.
"Don't ask me how but there doesn't seem to be anyone here." said Matt.
"It's like a ghost town around here." said Keiko.
"Only without the ghosts." said Renamon.
"There's got to be somebody running this equipment." said Sora.
"I don't know. It appears to be doing quite well all by itself." said Izzy.
"Matt, what are the machines making?" asked T.K. as they watched pieces being put together by the machines.
"You got me. Maybe parts for robots or spaceships." Matt tells T.K.
"Somebody's got to be moving those belts and people gotta eat, so is there a cafeteria around here cause we could really use a good meal!" shouted Joe.
"I don't think I would ever eat here with all this smoke around." said Keiko. "The smoke could be bad for our health."
"I wouldn't eat around here either." said Sora.
"Matt, where are you going?" asked T.K.
"I'm going to look around." said Matt.
"Good idea." said Tai as he, Agumon, Sora, Biyomon, Keiko, Renamon, Joe and Gomamon went in one direction while Matt, Gabumon, T.K., Patamon, Mimi, Palmon, Izzy and Tentomon went in the other.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" yelled Tai in hopes that someone will answer.
"Wait a minute. Don't go any further in this direction." said Biyomon.
"What's the matter with this direction?" asked Joe. "It's just as good as any other direction, isn't it?"
"What is it, Biyomon?" asked Sora.
"I'm not sure, I heard something." said Biyomon.
"I heard it too." said Renamon and suddenly they heard a loud crash.
"Doesn't sound good to me." said Tai.
Meanwhile Matt and the others were standing in front of a door with a sign that read 'Power supply r'. "I say we go inside and have a look around." said Patamon and Matt opens the door to reveal a huge battery that runs the whole factory.
"Prodigious!" said Izzy. "Now a battery like that could run my computer forever. I wonder if there's a way to access its power."
Meanwhile, Tai and his group stumbled upon a tunnel. "Hey." said Agumon as he points down the tunnel and sees a robot-like digimon laying down on its back. "What do you supposed happened to him?" asked Tai.
"Who knows, but let's see if we can help." said Sora as they walked over to it.
"It's just a busted robot." said Tai.
"It's not a robot. It's Andromon." said Gomamon.
"What? This big cluck is a digimon?" asked Tai in shock.
"Yes and very much advanced." said Agumon.
"How advanced are we talking about?" asked Keiko as she nudged him a bit with her foot.
"More than advanced than us, I assume." said Renamon.
"Poor thing…I guess he must have been caught in the gears and that's how he got mangled." said Biyomon.
"Maybe if we work together, we can pull him out of there." suggested Sora.
"Uh, my mom doesn't want me moving any heavy objects. I've got bad knees." Joe tells them.
"But he's heavy for the rest of us to do alone." said Keiko.
"Relax, we'll do it." said Sora.
"Right." said Tai and Keiko as the three of them bend down over Andromon.
Meanwhile, Matt and the others watched Izzy as he puts his hands on the huge battery and feels around for something. "What are you doing, Izzy?" asked Matt, confused.
"I'm trying to tap into this power source. If I can get this baby to fire up, then we can use my computer to get some help." Izzy explained. Back with the others, they tried really hard to pull Andromon out from the gears but was wedged in there pretty good.
"I think it's moving!" groaned Tai but then slips and falls onto a lever, causing the gears to move.
"Hey, something's happening. He's coming loose." said Joe but they all failed to see a black gear merging into Andromon's leg while pulling him out.
"Yay!" they cheered, then heard Andromon muttering something.
"I think he's slowly coming to." said Agumon.
"He needs a couple of whacks for a jump start!" shouted Tai, ready to hit Andromon's head when Joe, Sora and Keiko stops him.
"Don't even try and do that, Tai." said Keiko. "You're gonna break your hand that way."
"There's this movie where a robot came to life and killed everyone." said Joe sacredly.
"He looks friendly enough. And I'm sure if we're nice to him, he'll be nice to us…" said Sora but then, Andromon grabs her by the leg. "Forget what I said about him being friendly!"
"I shall punish all alien intruders." said Andromon.
"Andromon is one of the most powerful digimon of all. His body is a tireless machine capable of almost anything." said Renamon.
"We're not alien intruders!" shouted Keiko.
"Let's give him all we've got!" yelled Tai and Biyomon jumps at Andromon.
"Spiral Twister!" she shouted and sends her attack at the back of Andromon's head, causing him to throw Sora into Tai, who manages to catch her in his arms.
"Sora, are you alright?" asked Tai.
"Too bad we didn't catch him on a good day, watch out!" said Joe, panicking.
"Maybe it is a good day, Joe." said Keiko. "A good day for him."
"This is not a good day." he tells her.
"Well Tai, what do we do now?" asked Agumon as he, Biyomon and Renamon stood in front of them while Andromon came towards the small group.
"Agumon, how about you try and blast the roof?" asked Tai.
"Hmm….Pepper Breath!" shouted Agumon as he blasted the roof above Andromon, causing it to fall on top of him.
"Boy, he's going to have one ugly headache." said Tai.
"No doubt." said Sora.
"Now, let's get out of here." said Tai as Sora grabs Keiko's hand and ran off.
Meanwhile Matt, Gabumon, T.K., Patamon, Mimi and Palmon had left Izzy and Tentomon with the huge battery and were now watching the machines continue to put pieces together on the conveyor belt. "This place would be a whole lot more interesting if there was only a tour guide to explain it." said Mimi. "Oh, maybe with a little plaid outfit and a blowhorn."
Back in the supply room, Izzy continued to search for a way to access the huge battery in front of him. "Ah ha. I have located an access panel to the interior operations." said Izzy and opens a panel.
"Hey, let me see Izzy." said Tentomon as Izzy opens the panel all the way, revealing the inside of codes. Walking inside the battery, Izzy looks up to see more codes. "What exactly do you think this is?" asked Tentomon.
"These markings are binary options of some sort, a computer program." said Izzy, using big words as they walked up to the codes that were on the wall. "A very complicated program indeed." Izzy placed his fingers on one of the codes and erases some of it.
The next thing he knew, the whole factory lost its power causing everything to stop and the lights go out. Meanwhile, Tai and his group were running down a hallway when the lights went out. "Hey, who turned out the lights?" asked Tai.
"I break out in hives in the dark." said Joe but then the eight of them hear grumbling behind them and turned to see two glowing blue eyes. "What was that?"
"I hope it isn't Andromon." said Sora as she stood next to Tai and Keiko.
"It might be a good plan to keep moving so we don't find out." said Tai.
"I'm all for that." said Joe.
"Or we can just stay here until the monster gets us." said Tai.
"I say, let's go with option 1." said Renamon.
"Option 1 sounds good." said Keiko.
"Let's sneak away." whispered Sora. Andromon's eyes then changed from blue to red, causing him to see in the dark.
"Can anyone explain to me why we're tiptoeing instead of running for our lives?" asked Joe, raising a good point.
"Because some of us have shoes that squeak sometimes." said Keiko.
"Intruders sighted and Andromon doesn't like intruders." said Andromon, raising his right arm, causing it to spin rapidly making electricity form around it. "Lightning Blade!"
Andromon sends an electric blade of energy towards the four digidestined and their digimon. They all turned around to see Andromon's attack coming towards them, causing Keiko to scream as they jump out of the way. Meanwhile Izzy and Tentomon are still inside the huge battery. "That was a smooth move, Izzy. Scratch that theory." Izzy said to himself. "Could I have possibly deleted the wrong program?"
"I think that is a distinct possibility, Izzy." said Tentomon. "Why don't you undelete it?"
"Capital idea! A stroke of metallic paint right here." said Izzy as he takes out a marker and redraws what he erased, causing the power to come back on. "Voilà!"
Matt and the others watched as the power came back on and the machines start back up again, putting pieces together. "They didn't pay the power bill, is that it?" asked Mimi, not knowing what really happened.
"You know, you have no real imagination." said Matt.
Back in the power supply room, Izzy was sitting on the floor, typing on his computer while looking at the different codes that were around him. "That's rather mysterious." said Izzy as he types away.
"And just what is so mysterious about it?" asked Tentomon.
"Well, you see batteries are driven by acidic chemical reaction which generates a current." Izzy explained, using big words again. "But this one produces its own current independently.
"And what does that mean in plain English for those of us who didn't major in engineering?" asked Tentomon.
"Give me a nano here." said Izzy, as he continues to type.
"I'll give you three." Tentomon tells him.
"If I can decode this particular program, then I can trace its base functions and figure out a way out of here." said Izzy while looking at the codes.
Meanwhile, Andromon continues to chase Tai and his group who were now running across a long-gated bridge. "This is…not…good. I…don't…like…this…at…all." said Joe, barely able to breathe as he and the others ran from Andromon.
"Lightning Blade! And fire!" shouted Andromon as he sends another electric blade of energy at them. The four kids and their digimon jumped off the side of the rails and hang on for dear life as Andromon gets closer to them.
"Hear me intruders, Andromon will exact his revenge." Andromon said as he walks towards them.
"Hey! Come on! How can you get vengeance on those who jumped start you?" asked Tai as he looks for a way out.
"What does he have against us? A grudge?" asked Keiko. "We're only just ordinary kids."
"You've got me because I don't have a clue." said Renamon.
Back in the supply room, Izzy continued to work on decoding the codes around him. "I admire the way you keep working while your friends are out having fun." Tentomon said to Izzy as he watched the boy. "Don't you ever feel sort of left out?"
"Not at all." said Izzy.
"So you'd rather spend your time with puzzles then with people." said Tentomon.
"Precisely. What could be better than breaking a cryptogram that no one else can figure out?" asked Izzy.
"I can think of a lot of things like relaxing on a nice warm beach and not worrying about being trapped in a small room with no exit. But that's just me." said Tentomon.
"I'm just trying to determine how we all got to this place. And I'd like to learn more about you digimon. Perhaps prove some of my theories." Izzy tells him.
"What are you theorizing about? What's the big mystery? I am who I am. I'm not hiding anything." said Tentomon.
"Really?" asked Izzy.
"I simply can't understand this preoccupation with who you are. Is there some kind of deep dark secret in your origins?" asked Tentomon, making Izzy think back to something.
"Oh well…" Izzy begins to say but trails off.
[Flashback]
A young Izzy was listening on the other side of the door, listening to his parents conversation. "Don't you think it's time we should told Izzy the truth, dear?" Mrs. Izumi asked her husband.
"No, I'm afraid that if we told him now, it might be too big of a shock." replied Mr. Izumi.
"I know you're trying to do what's best but I worry that once he finds out, he'll be upset we didn't tell him the truth sooner." said Mrs. Izumi.
"Well, we can just think about it now." said Mr. Izumi.
[Flashback ends]
"Izzy? Izzy?" asked Tentomon, calling out to him causing him to snap out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Oh what did you say?" asked Izzy, looking at Tentomon.
"You were off in another world. Look at the screen." said Tentomon, drawing Izzy's attention back at the computer.
"Huh?" asked Izzy in confusion as he looks at his computer.
"It's acting rather strangely. Perhaps you should stop focusing on the problem and start looking for a solution." said Tentomon. "Your friends are in trouble. Can't you feel it in your bones?"
Suddenly Izzy's digivice activates, causing Izzy to look down. "Ah and my digivice has activated." said Izzy. Meanwhile Matt and his group continues to watch the machines at work.
"Boy, that's productive." said Matt. "This machine puts the pieces together and then takes them apart."
Back in the supply room, Izzy's computer starts showing a blue print of something. "Digimon to Izzy-mon, are you reading me?" Tentomon asked jokingly, trying to get Izzy's attention.
"This is merely scientific speculation but I believe I've stumbled onto something more than just a simple computer game and I'm able to abandon my alien theory as well." said Izzy as his computer shows him a 3D map of the whole island.
"Oh my, it's getting hot in here! Oww! Oww! I'm burning up! Do something quickly, I'm being fried!" shouted Tentomon as his back starts glowing while he hops back and forth on his feet.
"What's going on?" asked Izzy, worried about his friend.
"Oh! Ouch! I can't stand it! Help!" begged Tentomon. Izzy grabs his digivice to see that the screen has white bars from top to bottom. "Is it…short circuiting?" Izzy asked himself.
"Oh! Mercy! Ah, I'm dancing like I've never danced before!" Tentomon exclaimed.
"I'm disconnecting the power. I may never figure out the mystery. Oh well." said Izzy as he turns off his computer, causing Tentomon to stop glowing.
"Oh, I don't like computers." Tentomon said weakly.
"What happened to my digivice?" asked Izzy, wondering what happened to the bars. Meanwhile, Andromon continues to walk towards Tai's group. "Andromon will exact his vengeance." said Andromon.
"I'd like to see you try; you tin can! Come on!" said Tai as he jumps over to the controls of a nearby crane.
"Would you please stop taunting the deranged android." said Joe.
"At least you don't have to live with him, Joe." said Keiko. Tai then pulls a lever causing the crane to hook Andromon in the back and up into the air. The group runs away while Andromon struggles to get down. "Attitude reading abnormal." said Andromon.
"Matt, I'm bored. Grey is really my least favorite color and all this deconstruction has been so ten minutes ago." said Mimi as she and the others were on top of a roof. "Why are we still here?"
"We're still here because we're trying to figure out who built this factory." Matt explains to her, T.K. and their digimon. "So far it just seems to be designed to build and take things apart."
"I really hope that they built it with a door." said T.K.
"There's no door. It's based on perpetual motion; nothing ever stops or leaves this place." said Matt.
"Hey everybody! You'll never guess what I've just discovered!" yelled Izzy, standing in the doorway with Tentomon.
"Vengeance!" shouted Andromon.
"So what's up?" asked Matt.
"Well, the computer program operating this factory is what's producing the generating power to keep it going." said Izzy. "Even more incredible, in DigiWorld, basic data and simple information are living bio able substance. It's alive!"
Just then, Tai, Keiko, Sora, Joe, Agumon, Renamon, Biyomon and Gomamon showed up. "Hey you guys, listen up!" shouted Tai.
"I don't like the tone of his voice." said Matt.
"We've got to get out of here now!" said Tai.
"What do you mean, Tai?" asked Matt and Andromon bursts through the floor between the two groups.
"That's what he means." said Keiko, pointing shakily to Andromon.
"Capture intruders. Sensors detect hostility. Bring intruders into firing range." said Andromon as he sees Matt's group.
"Uh, mister what-ever-mon; are you talking to us?" asked Mimi.
"This doesn't look good." said Renamon.
"No it doesn't." said Keiko.
"Bring missiles to position and fire!" said Andromon, launching two missiles at T.K.
"Matt! Help!" T.K. cried out for his brother's help.
"T.K.!" shouted Matt as Gabumon rushes to T.K.'s rescue.
"Look out!" said Gabumon as Izzy notices that he and Matt's digivice begins to glow.
"Gabumon digivolve to…Garurumon!" Gabumon knocks the missiles away from T.K., destroying one of them while the other aims for Tai and the others.
"Agumon digivolve to…Greymon!" shouted Greymon and destroys the other missile.
"Who dares challenges Andromon?" asked Andromon as he was surrounded by two champion level digimon. While they tried to attack him, Andromon pushes both of them off the roof and to the ground before going after them.
"Get him, Greymon!" shouted Tai.
"Kick his butt." said Keiko and Renamon.
"Recycle that hunk of tin, Garurumon." said Matt.
"You puny ones dare to challenge me?" Andromon asked, taunting them as he readies his attack. "Lightning Blade! And fire!"
Andromon then fires his attack at Garurumon. "He's more powerful than either one of our digimon!" said Matt.
"Maybe because he's more machine." said Sora. "It's almost like he's digivolved further beyond the other digimon."
"Is it possible that we could lose?" asked Tai as Andromon pushes back Greymon. "He's beaten them both now."
"There's no hope." said Matt.
"Try reentering that program that activated your digivice." said Tentomon.
"What for?" asked Izzy.
"I believe that's the key to my digivolving." said Tentomon.
"Yes. It's gotta work. If I can just recall the sequence…." Izzy said to himself as he types in the program on his computer causing his digivice to activate and Tentomon begins to glow. "We cracked the program! Yeah!"
"Tentomon digivolve to…Kabuterimon!" shouted Kabuterimon as he becomes a huge rhinoceros beetle and joins the others against Andromon.
"Brings missiles to position and fire!" shouted Andromon, sending two more missiles at Kabuterimon.
"Doesn't that Andromon run out of gas?" asked Joe.
"I don't think he ran out of gas." said Keiko.
"He hasn't ran out of energy yet." said Renamon. Izzy looks at Andromon and notices electric sparks coming from his right leg.
"That's it. Cut his power! Demobilize his right leg and we'll interrupt his energy source!" shouted Izzy as Kabuterimon dodges the missiles and flies back towards Andromon.
"Electro Shocker!" shouted Kabuterimon, sending a ball of electricity towards Andromon's right leg, causing the black gear to come out and into the air.
"He stripped a gear." said Matt.
"That must have hurt." said Sora as they all watched the black gear fly into the air and destroy itself.
"That's wicked." said Tai. The digidestined then goes over to see if Andromon was ok as he falls to his knees and his eyes returned to normal.
"That black gear reprogrammed my systems somehow. I'm normally a non-violent digimon." said Andromon.
"You could have fooled us." said Tai.
"No kidding." said Sora, agreeing with him before turning to Joe. "I told you he was a digimon and not an android."
"I never meant to hurt anyone." said Andromon.
"Don't give it another thought. We all make mistakes." said Matt.
"It's ok, Andromon." said Keiko.
"We forgive you." said Renamon, hugging the android digimon.
"I can't answer your questions of how this place came to be or what's it for, but I can be of some help. The best way to escape from here is to use the underground water way." said Andromon pointing them in the right direction. "The labyrinth begins just beyond this point."
"Thanks for your help, Andromon." said Tai.
"I hope you find your way home and no matter what, don't forget the big guy that turned out not to be so bad." said Andromon as they all walked off.
"There's one thing you can count on, we'll never forget you, Andromon." said Tai. Once they reached the end of the tunnel, the group was waiting for Mimi to jump down.
"I know I can do this. Really I can. Okay, ready, set…" said Mimi and jumps down onto the concrete sidewalk.
"Okay, that only took about four minutes. Now let's get out of here." said Tai and they continued walking.
"Am I the only one who finds leisurely strolling through the sewers the slightest nit disgusting?" asked Joe.
"I would say that it isn't my number one favorite. But we'll live." said Renamon.
"Tell me the truth Izzy; was it your computer that made Tentomon turn into a superhero?" asked T.K.
"Prodigious, huh." said Izzy.
"Could your computer make Patamon into a superhero?" T.K. asked him.
"And Renamon too?" asked Keiko.
"I suppose that it is possible." said Izzy.
"Wow! Okay!" said T.K. and Keiko excitedly.
"Let's see now." said Izzy as he tries to type the program again but his screen goes black.
"What's happening?" asked T.K.
"That's strange." said Izzy.
"Hey." said Keiko and T.K.
"The program is right but nothing's happening." said Izzy.
"Just give it a few whacks. That'll do it." said Tai.
"Let us try." said Agumon.
"Oh no." said Keiko.
"Here we go again." said Renamon. Both Tai and Agumon ran right at Izzy but he moves out of the way, causing them to hit each other instead. "Sorry guys, but a computer is not a toy." said Izzy.
"This is why I never let him touch my stuff." said Keiko, shaking her head. "He never thinks it through."
"I'd say his brain goes on vacation when he does that." said Renamon.
"Now that you boys have holes in your heads, maybe your brains will get enough oxygen." joked Sora as everyone but Tai and Agumon laughed.
