To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.

"This place could really use a good bus system." said Joe as he, Tai, Keiko, Sora and their digimon stand by the edge of Infinity Mountain. Meanwhile Matt, T.K., Izzy, Mimi and their digimon finally arrived to find the others staring out at the ocean. "Yeah, looks like we're at the end of the line." said Matt as he and T.K. walked up.
"We're doomed! Trapped on an island…we'll never get out of here alive. I knew I wouldn't like summer camp, but would my folks listen? No, I wanted to go to summer school." said Joe as he was on the ground. Meanwhile a black gear flies through the sky.
"Another black gear." said a humanoid like lion digimon, who wore long black pants and a sword attached to his back before continuing up to Infinity Mountain. "I sense danger." Suddenly a green ogre like digimon wielding a big club pops out and attacks him.
"Pummel Whack! Leomon, you may be mighty but now you face me. Your kind-hearted leadership is unimpressive." said the ogre like digimon, charging at Leomon.
"Ogremon, you truly are the most evil of the bad digimon. There is no limit to your ruthlessness." said Leomon as he pulls out his sword and clangs it with Ogremon's club, causing the two weapons to get knocked out of their hands.
"Grr…no one asked you here. No one wants you here." said Ogremon. "I strongly suggest that you go now! While you still can."
"The endless attack of black gears that keep dropping from this mountain are turning peaceful innocent digimon into monsters and I have come here to make it stop!" said Leomon, raising his fists.
"What a joke. You have been warned." said Ogremon and raises his fists as well, shooting out a dark purple energy while Leomon shoots out orange energy from his fists. As their attacks collided, the surrounding rocks exploded into rubble.
"Both of you stop! Cease this foolishness! I command the two of you work together for me, not fight! You will work for me!" said a mysterious voice.
"I will never do that." said Leomon.
"Neither will I!" said Ogremon.
"Be silent! For I am Devimon, ultimate ruler of the demon underworld. You must obey my every command." said Devimon.
"Sir, you don't need that joker. I can handle whatever you need done without anyone's assistance." said Ogremon, sounding confident of himself.
"I think not. It is the digidestined kids we'll be fighting." said Devimon.
"The digidestined? Where are they?" asked Leomon.
"They're already here on Infinity Mountain. Now, go find them and destroy the entire group." ordered Devimon.
"Destroy them?" questioned Leomon. "I'll destroy you for having threatened the digidestined! Fist of the Beast King!"
Leomon sends an energy blast shaped like a lion's head at Devimon but it goes right through him. "Please Leomon, I'm not requesting for your assistance, I'm demanding it. Now prepare for the Touch of Evil!" said Devimon as his arms sprout out of the ground and stabs Leomon in the back, infusing him with dark energy. "Hahahaha, now you will obey my every command!"
"Yes…I…will…obey." said Leomon in a monotone voice as his eyes went black and under Devimon's control.
Meanwhile with the digidestined, Tai was sitting on the edge looking through his telescope. "Hmm." said Tai, taking in the view.
"Whatcha doing?" asked Agumon.
"Making a map of the island. That way, we can know where we are and where we've already been." said Tai, continuing to draw on the piece of paper.
"Yes, that works in theory." said Izzy, then looks at Tai's map. "What? Did you say map or mess?"
"I think it's more of a mess than a map." said Keiko.
"No question, man. You are the dude of doodles." said Matt.
"Actually, make that the king of doodles." said Renamon.
"I like it." said Matt, hearing the title that Renamon threw out. "Tai, the king of doodles. Thanks, Renamon. That's the perfect title for him."
"If you follow that map, it will lead you right to a headache." said Sora, commenting on Tai's drawing skills.
"Well, I can read it just fine and that's all that's important." said Tai.
"I'll believe it when I see it." said Keiko, crossing her arms.
"Keiko!" groaned Tai.
"We don't need a map to know that we're totally lost. I figured that out a long time ago." said Joe who was still on the ground.
"I just figured that these gloves don't really go with this dress." said Mimi, looking down at her outfit.
"How sad." said Palmon.
"It's really sad." said Renamon in agreement when suddenly there was a loud rumbling sound.
"What's that?" asked Matt.
"I don't know but I have a feeling we're going to wait here to find out." said Joe, remembering that they were stuck.
"At least it won't be a long wait." said Sora, seeing Leomon coming up on the other side.
"Who's that?" asked Keiko.
"Don't worry, Leomon is our friend." said Patamon.
"With big teeth." said T.K.
"He just uses them for smiling." said Patamon.
"He's a just leader and role model for all digimon." said Gabumon.
"I want the children." said Leomon, shocking them all.
"He's not going to get Keiko. He'll have to get through me first." said Renamon, pushing Keiko behind her.
"Call me paranoid but I think it's time we run!" said Joe, seeing Leomon pull out his sword, jumps over the gap and chases the digidestined up the mountain.
"Run." said Sora. As they continued, Tai's map flies out of his pocket.
"My map!" shouted Tai and chases after it.
"Tai, forget the map!" Agumon tells him but he doesn't listen. Just then, Leomon appears and Tai automatically stops.
"Pepper Breath!" shouted Agumon, sending a fireball at Leomon and burns Tai's map in the process. Leomon blocks the attack with his sword as Tai and Agumon run off with the others.
"Sorry about your map." said Agumon.
"That's okay. At least it didn't fall into the hands of the enemy." said Tai as they continued to run down Infinity Mountain.
"Don't slow down, Joe! He's right behind us!" shouted Matt, running behind Joe, but then Ogremon appears from behind a rock and blocks their way.
"And just where do you think you're going?" asked Ogremon, causing them to stop. "Well children, so good of you to stop by."
"Does he look hungry to you?" asked Patamon.
"Very hungry." said Renamon.
"We're too small to eat! And I'm full of junk food!" said T.K.
"And I could get stuck in your teeth!" said Keiko.
"Well, he's not against a little snack." said Gomamon. Mimi looks behind her and sees Leomon.
"Make it easier on yourselves, give up now…or else." said Leomon as he raises his sword.
"I don't see an exit door." said Matt.
"This proves that well executed teamwork is efficient even for bad guys." said Izzy.
"But Leomon has always been Ogremon's worst enemy. What's happened to him?" asked Renamon.
"Ready Leomon? Die!" yelled Ogremon and jumps at the digidestined. Just then, six digivices glowed brightly.
"Agumon digivolve to….Greymon!"
"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"
"Palmon digivolve to….Togemon!"
Three champion level digimon attacked Leomon, stopping him from getting to the digidestined.
"Biyomon digivolve to….Birdramon!"
"Tentomon digivolve to….Kabuterimon!"
"Gomamon digivolve to….Ikkakumon!"
The other three champion level digimon attacked Ogremon stopping him from attacking the digidestined as well. Unknown to them, Devimon was up on the rock above, carefully watching them. "They've all digivolved." said Devimon.
"Come with me, you two." said Matt as he grabs T.K and Felicity by the hand, getting them out of harm's way.
"Let him have it, Greymon!" Tai shouted to his digimon.
"Nova Blast!" bellowed Greymon, sending a gigantic fireball at Leomon who then manages to withstand it.
"Needle Spray!" shouted Togemon, providing assistance.
"Harpoon Torpedo!" shouted Ikkakumon, attacking Ogremon with his attack.
"Listen up! Everyone, all together now!" ordered Tai.
"They've learned the secret of teamwork. This group of six attacking together is quite dangerous. But why hasn't the Patamon and the Renamon digivolved?" Devimon asked himself.
"Are you ready?" Tai asked them when suddenly the rocks above them exploded.
"Avalanche! Watch out!" shouted Joe.
"Howling Blaster! Meteor Wing! Electro Shocker! Nova Blast!" shouted the four-champion level digimon, firing their attacks at the incoming rocks that were coming down, creating a huge dust cloud.
"Oh wow! Everyone okay?" asked Tai.
"Oh yeah, like a day at the beach." said Matt.
"I think I need a facial." said Mimi.
"I'm okay." said Keiko sitting up with Renamon. Tai looked behind them and sees that their digimon returned to their rookie forms.
"Agumon! Speak to me!" said Tai as he runs over to him.
"We aren't wounded, Tai. We're all just a little exhausted." said Agumon.
"Two digivolutions in one day, no wonder." said Tai.
"Poor Biyo." said Sora.
"Hey, what happened to the bad guys?" asked Izzy.
"They just disappeared." said Tai.
"Are you sure?" asked Palmon.
"Do you think that avalanche knocked them off the cliff?" asked Gabumon as Joe walks over to the edge.
"Hello? Unless they can fly, they're goners." said Joe.
"Neither one of them had wings so I'm pretty sure they weren't air worthy." said Sora.
"I'm with Sora on this one." said Renamon.
"Me too." said Keiko.
"Nothing is logical here; anything is bound to happen, including flying monsters." said Joe.
"For once, you might be right, Joe." said Sora.
"Anything is possible." said Keiko.
"Something bothering you?" Agumon asked Tai.
"It's that avalanche. I just can't figure out what set it off." said Tai, staring up at the place the avalanche started.
"Stress accumulates until a crack develops and with access weight, the terra firma suddenly isn't so firma." said Izzy, using big words again.
"You think so? It looked to me like something blasted it loose." said Tai as they continued down the mountain.
"They are more powerful than I expected, but I shall strike when they are exhausted and destroy them all." thought Devimon and started snickering. The sun had once again begun to set and the digidestined were walking through a forest.
"I'm intrigued that our digimon were able to digivolve twice in one day." said Izzy.
"Well, it sure was lucky for us that they were able to do it." said Tai.
"I think the digimon are growing stronger. I wonder if it's part of their evolution or if we're bringing out something special in them." said Sora.
"A fascinating hypothesis. If only we could test it." said Izzy.
"I think today was too much for them." said Matt.
"And Palmon's looking very tired." said Mimi.
"I've been tired before, don't worry." said Palmon.
"Admit it, Palmon we need to stop and rest." said Biyomon.
"You know, to be perfectly honest, I think that would be a good idea for all of us." said Joe.
"Rest where?" asked Sora. "I don't want to sleep on the ground."
"A nice warm bed would great right now." said Keiko.
"Look! A mansion!" Joe exclaimed, seeing a building in the distance.
"Or maybe it's a hotel. Come on!" yelled Tai and they all ran towards it.
"We may have found other life forms. Look at the grounds. I mean, someone had to have mowed the lawn." said Izzy as they stopped outside of the forest.
"On a lawn this big, they must have to use a pretty big lawn mower." said Keiko.
"Especially for this lawn of this size." said Renamon.
"What a place, I can't believe my eyes. It's just too good to be true." said Tai.
"I hope they have a hot tub. Just as long as it's not too hot." said Joe.
"Wait you guys!" shouted Tai. "Don't go just charging in there. It might be dangerous."
"Hey, was this on your map?" Agumon asked Tai.
"Hmm, somehow I don't think so." replied Tai.
"Go ahead, Joe. Open the door." said Matt.
"Maybe we should knock first." said Joe, nervously.
"Joe, nobody knocks on the door to a hotel." said Matt.
"This place should have been on your map." said Agumon.
"Agumon, if you recall, you burned up my map." said Tai.
"Oh yeah." said Agumon, feeling guilty.
"Here is goes." said Joe and opens the door. "I don't see a desk clerk. Anybody here?"
"Looks weird." said Tai.
"Feels weird." added Matt.
"Well, it doesn't look or feel weird to me." said Joe as they walked further inside.
"Perhaps my definition of weird is different from yours." said Izzy.
"I'm with you." said Sora.
"Think about it, are we safer out in the open woods with no shelter or here in a sturdy building we can defend from attack?" asked Joe.
"I have to admit, you have a point." said Matt as both T.K and Keiko walked in and sees something.
"That's beautiful!" shouted T.K., causing Joe to turn around and see a portrait of an angel hanging on the wall.
"Hmm? Oh yeah." said Joe.
"It's really pretty." said Keiko.
"Look it! It's an angel." said T.K. as he, Keiko, Mimi, Patamon and Renamon walk over to the picture.
"What's an angel, T.K.?" asked Patamon.
"Something special that watches over you. Kinda like you guys." said T.K., smiling.
"I've always believed that Kari has a guardian angel watching out for her whenever she's sick." said Keiko.
"I didn't know that." said Renamon.
"It's kinda been a secret between me and Kari." she tells her digimon.
"If this is a spooked out haunted house, would there be a picture of angels hanging on the walls? I don't think so." said Joe.
"Relax, we just wanna be careful and talk quieter or you'll wake everyone up." said Sora, referring to the sleeping digimon at their feet.
"They're out like a light." said Matt.
"I hope they have a dress shop. I never worn the same thing two days in a row before." said Mimi as the others walked in and closed the door behind them.
"Let's take a nap later." said Izzy.
"Well, no grounds. We must have missed the summer rush." said Tai.
"We keep missing everything." said Sora.
"This is one kooky mixed-up world. Well let's go." said Tai but then Agumon and Gabumon smell something.
"Do you smell that?" asked Gabumon.
"I don't smell anything." said Matt.
"It's the delicious odor of food." said Gabumon.
"Are you sure?" asked Matt.
"Very sure and plenty of it." he tells him.
"Show us, Gabumon." Matt said and started following Gabumon.
"Wait for us." said Sora, running behind Matt.
"Oh boy." Joe said excitedly.
"Hurry! Hurry!" said Biyomon, running next to Agumon.
"Huh? Hey, wait for me." said Patamon noticing that they all left. Gabumon lead them to large dining room where Tai opens the door and finds a table piled with food. "Look at that spread!" said Tai.
"Sorry for saying this everybody, but this looks like a setup." said Matt.
"Matt is right, it could be some sort of trap." said Sora but then they heard the sound of munching and look to see their digimon eating.
"Oh boy." said Keiko.
"Agumon, are you guys sure that food is safe to eat?" asked Tai.
"Everyone is eating but their table manners is appalling." said Mimi.
"Guess that's because they like it." said T.K.
"That's it! I can't bear to look any longer! I'm gonna eat it! At least I won't die hungry!" shouted Joe and walks up to the table. "On your mark, get set…"
"Ah…" said Tai, walking up to the others and they all go to the table to eat.
"Lobster matrede, is there a table with a view?" asked Mimi.
"Peanut Butter and pickles. This is the best pizza ever!" said T.K.
"Yum, spaghetti with onions in the sauce." said Keiko.
"Okay, if one of us gets sick, we all get sick. That's teamwork too." said Tai. Later that night, everyone decided to take a bath.
"Heads up, Matt!" shouted Tai and jumps into the water.
"Watch the hair, dude!" Matt shouted.
"Is that what that is? I thought some bird made a nest on your head!" joked Tai, making T.K. laugh.
"Warm water is perfect for removing soil and epidermis; you know dirt and dead skin?" said Izzy, rubbing his head with a towel.
"Whenever my skin gets dirty, I just shed it." said Tentomon.
"That would be difficult for me." said Izzy.
"Umm…may I join?" asked Joe, walking nervously into the bathroom.
"Huh? Hey, don't be shy. There aren't any girls in here. Come on in. So far we haven't found any sharks." said Matt.
"No big ones." said Tai.
"It looks cold." said Joe.
"Humans can be so silly." said Patamon.
"Humans aren't the only silly ones." said Tentomon. "Hey, where's Gabumon?"
"He's not silly, just shy." said Patamon.
"I'll get in, but I guarantee you won't like it." said Joe as he gets in. Meanwhile on the other side, Mimi, Sora, Keiko, Palmon, Biyomon and Renamon were hearing the boys' conversation.
"Why do they have to be so noisy?" asked Sora.
"Because they're boys. They'll always be like that." said Keiko as Renamon takes off her sleeves.
"Relax. Forget about them." Mimi tells them.
"I've never been so relaxed in my whole life." said Gomamon, simply floating in the water on the girl's side, causing them to blush really hard.
"Gomamon, you're not supposed to be over here!" shouted Biyomon.
"Get back to the boys side!" said Palmon and used her vines to lift Gomamon up and fling him to the boys side.
"Hey, let go! Help!" yelled Gomamon.
"And stay over there, Gomamon!" shouted Renamon. After they had their bath, everyone was now wearing robes and found a room with nine comfy-looking beds. "Haha, only thing better is bunk beds!" said T.K., as he and Patamon hop onto one of the beds.
"Boy this is great. Last time I had a bed like this, I was dreaming." said Izzy as he feels the mattress.
"Oh how I missed sleeping on soft silk sheets." said Mimi, already in her bed with Palmon.
"I'll tell you what I don't miss, I don't miss hiking through the blazing hot desert and another thing I really don't miss is starving in the jungle. Oh, we are a long way from home. Sorry." said Joe, sitting on his bed next to Gomamon with Tai sitting next to Agumon.
Sora was sitting next to Biyomon on the other side of Mimi with Keiko and Renamon next to her. On the other side of the room, Matt was sitting with Gabumon, T.K. was sitting with Patamon and Izzy was sitting with Tentomon.
"It's ok, Joe. We all miss home and I'm sure we're all wondering if we'll ever get back there." said Tai as Keiko sniffled a bit.
"I bet our disappearance caused a big fuss at school and all over town." said Matt. "But we've been gone so long, everybody's probably given up looking for us by now."
"Mom and dad wouldn't stop." said T.K.
"I'm home sick. Aren't you?" asked Mimi.
"We'll find our way back. Don't worry, Mimi." said Sora.
"Let's try to go to sleep and try to have nice dreams." said Mimi and everyone starts saying goodnight to each other. Meanwhile out in the hallway at the picture of the angel.
"It was so easy to deceive them. Even the digidestined appeared to have childish and simple minds." Devimon thought to himself as he comes out of the picture and spreads his wings, making Leomon and Ogremon appear. "Ready?"
"What a joy to be rid of the digidestined at last." said Ogremon.
"What about you, Leomon?" asked Devimon.
"I cannot disobey your orders." said Leomon, still under Devimon's control. Devimon grins evilly but then hears someone coming from upstairs.
"I can go to the bathroom by myself." said Tai.
"I don't mind keeping you company, Tai." said Agumon. "It's dark and scary here."
"For your information, I happen to like the dark. Stop treating me like a kid." He tells him as they head to the bathroom. "I should have known it was you who were afraid to go to the bathroom by yourself."
"Oh, Tai, don't be upset with me." said Agumon as Tai waits outside of the stall. "I'm not afraid. I didn't really have to go to the bathroom. I just came along because I have to protect you."
"Then what are you doing in there?" asked Tai.
"I don't even want to talk about it, Tai." said Agumon. Unknown to them, Ogremon was in the next stall.
"I don't know if that ugly green guy scared you, but he really scared me. Who knows where he is now." said Agumon as he comes out of the stall when suddenly, Ogremon bursts through the door of his stall.
"Now I am going to destroy you both!" bellowed Ogremon, causing Tai and Agumon to run out of the bathroom and towards the others.
"Wake up everybody! Ogremon's here!" shouted Tai, but sees something in his and Agumon's way.
"I must obey. Destroy them…the children." said Leomon.
"Why do you hate me?" asked Tai.
"He hates you because I commanded him too." said a voice, causing Tai to turn right and see Devimon standing on a railing.
"Get ready, Tai. Now the real trouble starts." said Agumon.
"Agumon, who is that?" asked Tai.
"That's Devimon." Agumon tells him.
"He looks bad." said Tai.
"He is. He's the guy who invented the nightmare." said Agumon.
"I have no more use of this imaginary building." said Devimon and the whole building started to crumble away. Matt slowly opens his eyes to find that the room they were in was no longer a room.
"Wake up everybody! Something's wrong!" shouted Matt, causing everyone to wake up.
"What happened?" asked Sora as she, Mimi and Keiko covered themselves up. Devimon then raised his hand, causing red and black energy to erupt from it.
"Because together you are strong. I will use my Touch of Evil to scatter you throughout the Digi-world." said Devimon as the beds of the other digidestined were floating up into the air.
"I hope this is a bad dream." said Tai, watching as the others were up in the air.
"Tai!" exclaimed Agumon and he grabs his stomach. "I'm too weak to walk even after all that food I've eaten."
"The food, the bath, the building…none of it was real." said Devimon. "I created all of it in your imagination."
"Listen you, if you don't bring down my friends and my sister, you're going to be in really big trouble!" shouted Tai.
"That's amusing. My concerns are much more important than your friends." said Devimon.
"That's my only concern. You bring them back now!" demanded Tai as Felicity screams in fear.
"Bring them back? You insolent brat! You dare to order me?" asked Devimon. "Allow me to show you who's really in control here!" Suddenly the entire island begins to shake.
"You see, I have discovered the secret of the Black Gears from below. I call them forth to do my bidding." said Devimon and the island splits apart. "You and your friends happened upon this tiny island which is just one of the fragments of your world, scattered across the enormous ocean. You pretend you are strangers who know nothing of this world but I am aware you are the digidestined who are sent to rescue this world from my domination."
"You got us all wrong." said Tai. "We were just some kids at summer camp who somehow got sucked into your world."
"Your little act no longer amuses me. It's time to bring an end to the digidestined." said Devimon.
"I will destroy them. Everyone." said Leomon. Agumon tries to attack but ends the other way around.
"Now the boy." said Leomon and pins Tai to the wall.
"Yes, then the others. One by one." said Devimon. "Once the irritating children are out of the way, nothing will be able to stop me. Now, do it Leomon."
"As you command." said Leomon as he pulls out his sword.
"No! Help!" shouted Tai.
"Tai!" screamed Keiko, reaching out for her brother.
"Don't waste your breath." said Leomon but then, Tai's bed crashes a few feet away from them and Tai's digivice rolls out onto Leomon's feet. It started to glow soon as it made contact with Leomon.
"What are you waiting for, Leomon? Do it!" ordered Devimon but the Black gear inside Leomon gets driven out.
"The Black Gear, the light drove it out." said Agumon. "Devimon no longer has control over Leomon."
"I think you're right. How do you feel, Leomon?" asked Tai.
"I am free of Devimon's powers." said Leomon as Tai picks up his digivice.
"Leomon, do you know what this this is?" asked Tai.
"I can you that for me it's proof that you are one of the digidestined. The digivices are powerless in the hands of anyone else." Leomon tells Tai.
"That's right and you are no match for me!" bellowed Devimon and makes the floating beds fall to the ground.
"Ah! Tai help me!" screamed Keiko.
"Keiko!" shouted Tai.
"Do not harm them!" yelled Leomon.
"Leomon is helping us. We're going to be fine." said Tentomon as everyone gets scattered to different parts of the once whole island.
"This isn't over, Leomon or haven't you forgotten your old friend?" said Devimon.
"Ogremon!" shouted Leomon.
"Here Leomon!" said Ogremon and attacks him.
"Keiko, don't worry!" shouted Tai, reaching out for the young girl. "I'll find you!"
"I hope so, Tai!" shouted Keiko.
"Renamon! Protect her!" Tai shouted as Keiko's bed gets further away. "Don't let her out of your sight!"
"I promise, Tai!" shouted Renamon.
"Tai, don't leave me! Please!" shouted Keiko, reaching out for her older brother one last time before disappearing from his sight.
"Your soft heart is your weakness which is why we will never be allies." said Ogremon.
"You may defeat me, but the digidestined will be out of your reach." said Leomon, hinting to Tai about what he was going to do.
"No." said Tai.
"Yes! Go now!" said Leomon and slams his sword into the ground, causing it to crack, sending Tai and Agumon onto a float piece of the island that carries them away.
"Why?" asked Tai.
"You're our last hope. Without you, my world doesn't have a chance for survival. My life is insignificant." said Leomon and attacks Ogremon, knocking him out cold.
"You can escape too." said Tai.
"I must prevent Devimon from pursuing you!" shouted Leomon.
"Be careful!" Tai tells him.
"Feel the Touch of Evil!" bellowed Devimon as he takes control of Leomon again.
"Leomon!" shouted Tai.
The next morning, all the pieces of the island has stopped moving and were now just drifting apart. "The digidestined survived our first encounter but it won't be the last. I can promise them that." said Devimon. "They must not interfere with my plans; they must be destroyed. Will you do this for me, Leomon?"
"Your every order, I shall obey." said Leomon.
