To all readers-I'm reposting this again because I'm ready. I want everyone (especially one reader in particular) to that I don't like being rushed when I'm writing. I like to write at my own pace and have each chapter up to my standards. If you dont like the way I write any of my fanfiction, then you dont have to read it. Its strictly your choice whether or not you read any of my fanfiction at all.

T.K., Patamon, Keiko and Renamon continued to play with the baby digimon. "Hey, Keiko, let's play a game with the baby digimon." said T.K.

"Good idea, T.K." said Keiko.

"I am pledge to obey your command, Devimon." Leomon said to himself and draws out his sword from his waist.

"Okay, so you don't want to play any games." said T.K. after the baby digimon started panicking when Patamon looked up to see the source.

"Leomon's back." said Patamon, causing T.K., Keiko and Renamon to look up and see Leomon running down the side of the cliff.

"Oh no! He's after us again." said Keiko.

"Boom Bubble! Diamond Storm!" shouted Patamon and Renamon, launching their attacks at Leomon, causing him to stop only half way down the cliff.

"We've gotta get out of here!" Patamon tells T.K. and Keiko.

"You don't have to tell me twice." said Keiko.

"Let's go!" said Renamon.

"Yeah." said T.K. as the four of them ran into the forest, hiding behind a couple of trees as Leomon finally reaches the bottom and walks over to them. "He's scary."

"Leomon was always a good digimon. I just wish there were some way we could get rid of the black gear that's causing him to be so mean." said Patamon.

"Easier said than done, Patamon." said Renamon.

"Yeah, he's just way too big." said T.K.

"Even for the both of you." said Keiko.

"Hello, you got company." said a voice behind them. The four of them turned to see Ogremon holding a Poyomon in his hand.

"You're nice little kids, aren't you? Get your hides out here so I can get a good look at you! Because if you don't, your little friend here is going to squeak his last squeak." threatened Ogremon as he held Poyomon tight in his hand.

"Patamon, we've gotta save him." said T.K.

"Us too, Renamon." said Keiko.

"Poor Leomon. I know he wouldn't attack us if he didn't have that stupid black gear under an evil spell." thought Patamon. "He'd come over to our side, if only we could figure out a way to stop him. I gotta protect T.K. from Ogremon. He's so big…Renamon and I are not."

"Something needs to be done about Leomon." thought Renamon. "But Keiko always comes first. She needs me."

Suddenly Leomon slices the tree that T.K. was hiding behind. "T.K.!" shouted Patamon, Keiko and Renamon.

"I've been commanded by my master to take the digidestined." said Leomon as he raised his sword, causing the two youngest digidestined to gasped.

"Howling Blaster!" shouted a familiar voice as blue flames raced through the trees, causing Leomon to jump out of the way.

"T.K.! Keiko!" shouted Matt, riding on Garurumon as they come running to their aid.

"Matt!" shouted Keiko.

"You came just in time." shouted T.K. as Matt hops off Garurumon and runs over to his little brother.

"That was close." said Matt. Garurumon attacks Leomon, who then pushes him out of the woods and into the opening.

"Yeah." said T.K.

"Where's Tai?" Keiko asked Matt.

"He should be here soon." said Matt.

"Now you've done it. The little guy's gonna get squished." said Ogremon but then notices that Poyomon was gone. "Hey, where'd he go?"

"He's staying with us." said Tai, holding the Poyomon in his hands.

"Tai!" shouted Keiko. "You're here!"

"Over my stinky armpits he will." said Ogremon, raising his club.

"Oh, I'm so scared. Get him, Greymon!" shouted Tai as Greymon stood next to him.

"Nova Blast!" bellowed Greymon, sending a massive fireball at Ogremon who dodges it.

"Tai! You made it!" said Keiko who runs up to her brother.

"You bet I would. I will always protect you, no matter where we are." said Tai, pulling her into a hug. "I would never leave you alone by yourself. Not for too long."

"Didn't anyone tell you not to play with fire? Someone could get hurt, mainly me. Now to educate you. I'll show you whose the head honcho on this island is." taunted Ogremon but then Greymon slams his tail into him. "Ha! I could fight you blindfolded."

Just then, a ton of black gears fell from the sky and went straight into Leomon, causing his skin to get darker and larger. "The black gears." said Matt. Greymon and Garurumon stood their ground, ready to fight.

"No! Turn around!" shouted Matt. "He'll beat you to a pulp."

"Fist of the Beast King!" bellowed Leomon, launching his attack Garurumon, sending them straight into a cliff wall.

"Are you okay?" asked Matt. Leomon then turns to Greymon and launches another attack.

"Fist of the Beast King!" bellowed Leomon as his attack knocks Greymon into one of the block structures of Primary Village.

"No, we need you Greymon." said Tai as he runs towards his digimon.

"I told them not to play with fire." said Ogremon.

"I command you to bring me the digidestined, starting with the smallest children." Devimon ordered Leomon.

"I am your humble servant and will obey you, Devimon." said Leomon and makes his way to T.K., Patamon, Keiko and Renamon.

"T.K., Keiko, watch out!" shouted Matt.

"What now, Matt?" asked T.K.

"What should we do?" asked Keiko.

"Hurry, move away." Matt tells them. Patamon and Renamon then tries to stop Leomon but their attacks do nothing.

"Diamond Storm!" shouted Renamon, jumping into the air and throws sharpened leaves at Leomon's chest, but her attack didn't work.

"Boom Bubble! Oh no! It's not working!" said Patamon when suddenly Leomon grabs him in his fist and picks up Renamon by her fur.

"Patamon!" shouted T.K.

"Renamon!" shouted Keiko.

"Wanna fight? How about a prickly suit?" asked Togemon as she appears and slams Leomon into the ground, causing him to release Patamon and Renamon.

"Patamon, you gotta take it easy buddy." said T.K., as he and Keiko held their digimon.

"I'm sorry." said Patamon.

"Renamon, I was so scared." said Keiko.

"Me too." said Renamon.

"What for?" asked T.K. and Keiko in confusion.

"We were trying to protect you." said Patamon.

"And both of you were doing great. Don't feel bad, little guy." said T.K.

"I'm glad that I have someone other than Tai and Kari protecting me." said Keiko, bringing Renamon closer to her.

"Tai, you're never going to believe this!" shouted Izzy as he, Mimi and Kabuterimon landed on the ground.

"What's happening, Izzy?" asked Tai.

"We have a complimented solution to all of our problems." said Izzy.

"What are you talking about?" Tai asked, still confused.

"Check 'em out." said Mimi as she and Izzy hold out their digivices.

"They call them digivices." explained Izzy. "They have the capability to completely eradicate the black gears."

"Then let's give it a try. We have no other choice right now. We have to take a chance and stop him." said Tai and rushes out to Leomon with Keiko following close him.

"Don't worry, I've got you covered T.K." said Matt as he protects his little brother.

"Ready for a real fight?" Tai asked as he walks over to them. "What are you waiting for, booger breath! Come on and get us if you dare!"

"What's up dude? Have you totally flipped out?" asked Matt as he stops Felicity from following further.

"I must do as I am commanded. Come here!" said Leomon and attacks Tai.

"Tai, no!" screamed Keiko, reaching out for him.

"Now!" shouted Tai and places his digivice on Leomon, causing him to scream in pain as a light shines on him. Matt notices the black gears started coming out of Leomon's back.

"You know, these things pack quite a punch." said Matt and he places his digivice on Leomon's chest too, causing all the black gears inside him to come out.

"How did they do that?" asked Ogremon. "Rotten kids."

"Ogremon, over here!" Izzy called out.

"You've just begun to see our power! Electro Shocker!" said Kabuterimon, driving Ogremon off. Once all the black gears were out of Leomon, they then floated upwards and destroyed themselves.

"That's rad." said Tai as Leomon returns to normal.

"It worked. We destroyed the black gear!" said Izzy as Mimi hugs him in excitement.

"We're safe now! Leomon's back to his normal self!" cheered T.K.

"Wahoo!" cheered Keiko.

"Ha! Those little fools are kidding themselves. They don't know what they're dealing with They're gonna find out sooner then they think." said Ogremon and walks off.

After all of the digimon de-digivolved back into their rookie forms, they gathered around Leomon. "According to legend, our world will be taken over by a strange dark force that will change good digimon into bad ones. Our ancestors have predicted that a group of children called the digidestined will appeared from another world." Leomon explained to the six children in front of him. "When they arrive, they will come to possess superpowers that will eventually save our world from destruction. I believe their prediction has come true. File Island has been seized by an evil power, we're in danger of destruction and now you've appeared."

"Whoa that's amazing!" said Tai. "But tell me, how can you be sure we're the kids you're talking about?"

"Yeah, do you have proof that we're the same one?" asked Matt.

"It's been foretold that the digidestined have the ability to make digimon digivolve. You've done that and it's all the proof I need." said Leomon.

"I, for one, hope that it's true." said Izzy. "My theory is that we'll be released after we saved the island. Once our purpose is served and there's no other reason for us to remain."

"And I'll be able to change these clothes." said Mimi.

"That's right. If Leomon's information is correct, we'll be heading straight for home." Izzy tells her.

"I can't wait." Mimi said excitedly.

"How can we make that happen?" asked Matt as they all looked up at Infinity Mountain. "We're not even sure who's causing it. What if it's a force that's too big for us to handle?"

"You see, Devimon is the main cause to this evil. To save the island, you're going to have to defeat him." said Leomon.

"Let's go for it." said Tai, but everyone wasn't too sure.

"I knew there was a catch in there somewhere." said Keiko, crossing her arms and pouting.

"Keiko, wipe that look off your face this instant." said Tai, knowing her very well what she does when pouting. "You promised mom that you wouldn't do that at camp."

"Fine. But I don't have to like it." she grumbled with her arms still crossed, causing Renamon to giggle and Tai turned to face everyone else.

"Come on, everyone! Why not? If we don't defeat him, it'll never be over." he said to the others.

"Fine with me. Besides, it's impossible for us to lose with the digivices." said Izzy.

"The first thing on my list is to do some killer shopping." said Mimi.

"For that to happen, we have to get you back home." said Palmon.

"If we all work together, we're sure to win." said Tentomon.

"I'm ready anytime you are buddy." Agumon said to Tai, who nodded at him.

"How about it, Matt? Are we up to the challenge, my friend?" asked Gabumon.

"It's gonna be tough. When you get down to it, we have no choice." said Matt.

"Alright then troops, let's get to it." said Leomon.

"Far out! It's a done deal." said Tai and they set off for Infinity Mountain. A while later, the digidestined, their digimon and Leomon are in a boat, making their way to Infinity Mountain.

"Devimon is very powerful. He's brought nothing but trouble to File Island." said Leomon as he pulls the boat to the base of Infinity Mountain and make their way upwards. "We must be careful."

Meanwhile, at the top of the mountain. "Perfect. That traitor Leomon is leading them directly into my trap. He's been very valuable to me." said Devimon.

"I guess so, but I'm loyal and better looking." said Ogremon.

"Listen to me! You will pay them one final visit. Ready?" said Devimon and before Ogremon could answer, he's turned into a bunch of black gears.

"Hear this digidestined, my power is infinite! Your hopes and dreams are useless! I am the supreme master of this island! If you dare defy me, I will unleash the power of the universe and conquer you! You can't escape!" said Devimon as he summons more black gears from everywhere.

Meanwhile Sora, Birdramon, Joe and Ikkakumon are still making their way towards Infinity Mountain. "On no! What's that?" asked Sora, seeing all the black gears heading towards the mountain.

"Big trouble is brewing. We better get ready for action." said Birdramon.

"Black gear!" Joe tells her.

"This is going to be the big one, Joe. It's time to show your true self." said Ikkakumon.

"You feeling okay, Joe." asked Sora.

"Just a little seasick." replied Joe.

As Tai's group had reach the peak of the mountain, the sky turns dark and everything starts shaking. "We can't turn back now!" shouted Tai but then Devimon appears, only bigger than normal.

"What in the world is that?" asked Mimi, freaking out.

"It must be Devimon." said Tai.

"Whoa! He's on a war path!" said Renamon.

"He's bigger than ever!" said Keiko.

"I didn't expect him to be such a big guy." said Palmon.

"Bad guys always seem to think bigger is better." said Izzy.

"Afraid not. The power that Devimon possesses is emends so be careful!" warned Leomon. Just then, Devimon flies towards the ground and right in front of the Digidestined and Leomon.

"He's here! Uh Agumon, you better digivolve!" said Tai.

"Right." said Agumon but before they could get a chance, Devimon attacks them with a black energy, holding them in their place.

"Fools! Don't expect me to play silly games with you." said Devimon. "I'm far too wise for that."

"Harpoon Torpedo!" shouted Ikkakumon, firing six of his horns at Devimon, hitting their target, right in the chest.

"That's a bulls eye, Ikkakumon!" said Joe.

"Meteor Wing!" shouted Birdramon, firing fireballs at Devimon, hitting their mark as well.

"Quick everybody! There's no time to waste! We've got to strike right away!" shouted Sora, running over to them.

"Digivolve!" shouted Tai.

"You've got it! Ready gang?" Agumon asked and the other digimon nodded.

"Agumon digivolve to… Greymon!"

"Yeah, go Greymon!" shouted Tai.

"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"

"Let's turn this guy into pudding!" said Matt.

"Tentomon digivolve to…Kabuterimon!"

"My biology teacher would love this." said Izzy.

"Palmon digivolve to…Togemon!"

"I do like the way our colors match." said Mimi.

"Nova Blast!" shouted Greymon, sending a fireball at Devimon.

"Howling Blaster!" shouted Garurumon, biting down on Devimon's arm.

"I think he's got him." said Tai but then Devimon throws Garurumon off his arm and straight at Greymon.

"Oh no!" said Matt.

"Your attacks are pitiful." said Devimon. "I'm afraid you'll have to try harder than that."

"Electro Shocker! Needle Spray!" shouted Kabuterimon and Togemon, sending their attacks at Devimon, but he swats them away.

"Give up you fools; your attacks are useless." said Devimon.

"Oh, poor Togemon." said Mimi.

"Kabuterimon!" shouted Izzy as Leomon jumps onto Devimon's back.

"You're mine now!" shouted Leomon when suddenly Ogremon appears from Devimon's back. "You!"

"You've got no chance against us, kitty cat." taunted Ogremon.

"You're not worth my time." said Devimon, holding Birdramon in his hand.

"Birdramon!" shouted Sora.

"Out of my sight! You're next!" Devimon said and reaches for Ikkakumon.

"Harpoon Torpedo!" shouted Ikkakumon as he tried to stop Devimon, who then grabs him by his head.

"Ikkakumon, no!" shouted Joe as he watches his digimon get thrown into Kabuterimon.

"Kabuterimon!" Izzy shouted.

"No!" cried Felicity as she watched in horror.

"Oh no! There's nobody left! What do we do, Patamon?" asked T.K. as he looks from Patamon to Renamon.

"Renamon?" asked Keiko.

"Now to get rid of you, then I'll have nothing to fear. They say the smallest ones will destroy me but I'm not going to let that happen. Don't move. Make it easier on the three of us." said Devimon as he reaches for T.K., Patamon, Keiko and Renamon when suddenly Garurumon jumps onto Devimon's arm and pushes it away.

"T.K., Keiko, run!" shouted Matt and Tai. Just then Greymon grabs Devimon's left leg and Birdramon blocks Devimon's face while everyone else grabs a hold of his limbs, holding him in place.

"You seem to forget, I am Devimon, supreme master of this island! I have power over all digimon! No one can conquer me!" bellowed Devimon as he releases black energy from his body, pushing the digimon away from him.

"Whoa! That guy knows how to take it out of you." said Greymon, lying on the ground.

"I can't move. Even my needles are numb." said Togemon.

"Now is probably a good time to take a nap." said Kabuterimon as Ikkakumon groans.

"This is bad." groaned Tai, lying next to Sora.

"Matt! Tai!" shouted T.K. and Keiko, gaining everyone's attention as Devimon resumes to reach for them and their digimon.

"Matt!" shouted T.K.

"Tai!" screamed Keiko.

"Hey, get ready to run." said Matt as he and Tai crawled over to the youngest ones.

"He's right. Just run." said Tai. Both Patamon and Renamon tried to attack Devimon, but couldn't do any damage.

"Keiko's in trouble and I've gotta protect her. I don't understand it at all. Why can't I digivolve?" said Renamon.

"What do I do? T.K.'s in danger. I've gotta protect him. I don't understand. It isn't working. Oh, why can't I digivolve?" said Patamon as he and Renamon both start crying.

"Renamon, help me! Please!" Keiko cried, tears streaming down her face as she starts reaching out for her digimon.

"Patamon, help!" cried T.K.

"I'll save you, T.K.!" shouted Patamon.

"I'm coming, Keiko!" said Renamon as she and Patamon dive into Devimon's hand when suddenly bright lights appeared.

"Hang on, pal!" shouted Matt.

"I'll save you, Keiko!" shouted Tai.

"Huh?"

"Who's that?" asked Mimi.

"It's Patamon and Renamon." said Sora.

"Patamon digivolve to…Angemon!" shouted Angemon, becoming a six-winged humanoid-like angel digimon dressed in blue and white clothing, with a helmet covering his eyes.

"Renamon digivolve to…..Kyubimon!" shouted Kyubimon, becoming a slightly different fox digimon, with grey fur sprouting from her neck, that stops at her shoulders and yin yang symbols on her legs and forehead. Her fur changed colors from being yellow to silver with red tips on her tail.

"Hey, Patamon and Renamon finally digivolved." said Joe standing beside Ikkakumon.

"That's super cool." said Sora.

"Not bad. Those little guys had it in them." said Matt.

"Nice hair, good color." said Mimi.

"I wanna take him home with me." said T.K.

"Let's take them both home." said Keiko. "Kari will love her."

"What's this? Another foolish attempt." said Devimon, not worried at all.

"No Devimon, it is the real deal." said Kyubimon.

"The forces of good are more powerful, even you can't stop us." said Angemon. "Sorcerimon and I will destroy you and bring peace to this island."

Suddenly all the digidestined's digivices shot a beam of light at Kyubimon and Angemon. "That light is so bright! What are you doing to me?" asked Devimon as the other digimon de-digivolved.

"Gomamon." Joe said to his digimon.

"Stop it! I'm not going to allow the two of you to take my power away! You'll fight me!" screamed Devimon.

"I'm afraid we have no other choice. If we can help others, my faith is unimportant." said Angemon.

"Angemon is right. I feel repentant for what we have to do." said Kyubimon.

"Angemon!" shouted T.K.

"Kyubimon!" shouted Keiko.

"Your powers have gotten too far out of control and must be extinguished. We are ready to fight for peace." said Angemon and Kyubimon. Both of them point their staffs at Devimon, but then Ogremon pops out of Devimon's chest but can't get anywhere close to the new digivolve champion level digimon and is sent flying.

"Now you've done it." said Devimon as Angemon's staff starts to shrink and his right hand starts to glow. Kyubimon's tail spreads out and ignites with onibi at the tips.

"Be careful!" shouted T.K. and Keiko.

"We'll get him. Relax." said Angemon, looking over his shoulder at them.

"Don't worry so much." said Kyubimon.

"Come here pretty boy! You and that beast will never win!" said Devimon as he closes his hands around them.

"We'll stop you!" shouted Angemon and Kyubimon as Angemon sends a strong blast right through Devimon while Kyubimon releases the onibi and she aims it at Devimon.

"You have used up all your powers. That wasn't very smart, Angemon and Kyubimon, now you are no use to anyone. You can't get away from the dark forces. Evil is everywhere so don't savor your victory." said Devimon laughing as he disappears. "There are other digimon as powerful as I am. Some of them are even stronger. I wonder what you'll do when you run into them. You haven't won at all. What a waste of time."

"Angemon!" shouted T.K. gaining Angemon's attention.

"Kyubimon!" screamed Keiko, gaining Kyubimon's attention as well.

"T.K., Keiko, we'll come back again. If you want us to." said Angemon as he and Kyubimon disappear as well.

"Kyubimon, I want you to come back. Don't leave me! Please!" said Keiko, tears running down her face and Kyubimon nodded.

"Angemon!" cried T.K. at the loss of his digimon. Just then, pieces of Angemon's feathers and pieces of Kyubimon's silver fur gathered together in separate piles in front of T.K. and Keiko to form two Digi-eggs: One with orange stripes and the other was sky blue.

"Well, what do you know; its two Digi-eggs." said Tentomon.

"Do you think it could be Angemon?" asked T.K.

"And Kyubimon?" asked Keiko.

"I know it is." said Gabumon. "They're just resting for a while."

"I think Kyubimon's in mine." said Keiko, looking at the sky-blue Digi-egg.

"That's right. They're both just resting for a while to regain their strength." said Biyomon.

"But don't worry. You'll see them again when they digivolve." said Palmon.

"I will make sure to take really good care of him. You saved my life Angemon." said T.K., picking up the Digi-egg.

"You saved my life too, Kyubimon." said Keiko, picking up her Digi-egg. "You take as long as you need to rest. I'll be here, waiting for you no matter what."

Just then, the island starts to reform after the darkness was defeated. "Huh? Look, the island is coming back together again." said Sora.

"Exactly, Devimon's been defeated, evil is eliminated, the island returns to its original state." said Izzy. Meanwhile, Ogremon was down in the forest below the ledge the digidestined were on. "With Devimon out of the way, I can take over now." said Ogremon, but turns around to see Leomon standing behind him.

"Hello, your forgetting about me." Leomon said sarcastically.

"Leomon! Get me out of here!" shouted Ogremon, running away. "Why can't the bad guy ever win?"

Back with the digidestined. "What's with those other evil digimon across the sea?" asked Matt.

"Yeah, I thought we were going home." said Joe.

"I don't wanna have to fight again! Oh, I think I broke a nail." said Mimi.

"Well, according to Leomon's legend, we've gotta do it. Remember he said that we are the digidestined." said Tai but they then noticed something under a pile of rocks.

"Something's happening." said Joe…and a hologram of an old man appeared.

"Ah. I've heard about you kids. I must say I'm pleased." said the old man.

"Please sir, tell us. Who are you and what do you want?" Tai asked, speaking for everyone.
