A cool breeze was blowing through Madison's face as her eyes was closing. She smelled the familiar scent as it was like where she's been before. But what was new now, was a feeling of scales rubbing her jawline. Madison slowly opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings but looked to see Zor on her shoulder.
She smiled as she petted his head but then looked at her attire besides her bag that has the book. The last time she gone to Arendelle, she was wearing blue winter clothing, and now she's wearing a brown plaided dress that is over a white long sleeve shirt. She looked down to see that she's wearing white stockings and black Mary-Jane shoes.
"This is actually cute. I like this." she said as she twirled around.
After looking at herself, Madison looked at her surroundings to see trees, grass, and a brick road, but to her surprise, she was close to the entrance of the village.
"Well, Zor. This is it. This is where you enter to the village of Arendelle. It's not icy anymore like I told you about, but it is a peaceful town full of nice people thanks to Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. So... ready to meet them?"
Zor nods with excitement as he was ready and carefully hanged on as Madison starts walking.
Through the gate, Madison could see that every building and staff was unmoved and not changed except the decorations were different. Madison and Zor looked around to see the villagers were preparing food, tables, and setting decorations. It feels very autumn but to Madison, it makes her think it was like Thanksgiving. While the two looked around, Madison spotted a very familiar man and a reindeer. It was Kristoff and Sven.
Madison smiled to see the two, but to Kristoff it looks like he was nervous or something. She walked towards to the two with a smile on her face until she saw that Sven has noticed her. She put her finger to her lips for silence as she was still smiling until she starts speaking to Kristoff.
"Excuse me. Can you tell me what is going on here in this village?" she asked.
"The queen is throwing an autumn feast here in Arendelle. I take it that you..." As Kristoff turns his head to face Madison, his looked shocked but then smiled. "Maddie!"
Madison giggled as she felt a hug from the ice man. Sven walked closer to her and happily nuzzled her cheek.
"It's so good to see you Kristoff. And you too Sven."
"Good to see you too." said Kristoff until he noticed the Bearded Dragon. "Hey, who's your friend?"
"This is Zor. He's a Bearded Dragon." she answered.
Zor looked at the blonde man and his tail was wagging. Kristoff looked at the lizard and starts scratching his chin.
"Interesting looking fella."
"He's the only blue Bearded Dragon that I've met." said Madison as she looked at him and then looked at Kristoff. "So... What's been going on? I've noticed that you looked nervous or something.
"Nervous? Why would I be nervous? I wasn't nervous." said Kristoff as he was acting like he was fine.
"And... what's that in your hand?" Madison questioned as she looked at Kristoff's hand that was in his fist.
"Um... well... I..."
"He's going to propose to Anna." Kristoff spoke in a different voice like Sven is talking.
"Sven!"
"Is it true?" Madison asked as she looked surprised. "You're going ask Anna to marry you?"
Kristoff felt like sweat was streaming down his face but he took a deep breath and showed Madison a small ring.
"Yes... Yes, I am."
"Kristoff that's wonderful to hear!" Madison smiled and Zor chirped as he was admiring the design of the ring.
"Yeah, it is. I love her. I really do, it's just hard to say the right words for it."
"I'm pretty sure Sven will help you out on that. Right Sven."
The reindeer smiled and nodded his head.
"Speaking of Anna. Where is she?"
"She's heading to the pumpkin patch where Olaf is." said Kristoff as he starts pointing at the direction. "It's that way."
"Great because I do want to see them. And thanks."
Madison starts running as Zor was holding on to her while Kristoff and Sven watched them go. From the direction to where Kristoff have pointed, Madison was now on the path that leads to a hill. But while she kept on walking, she spotted someone that was going on. It was a young lady with red hair in a bun and she was dressed nicely for the autumn feast. Madison walked with speed to get a good look at her and when the wind flew her, the side of the woman's face was now familiar to her. Madison realized who that was and quickly walked towards her.
"Anna!" she shouted.
The princess stopped her tracks and turned around. She surprised and smiled with glee as ran towards Madison.
"Maddie!" she shouted and quickly hugged her friend as she closer to her. "It's so good to see you. And surprised as well. What brings you to Arendelle?"
"Just thought I venture this place again. Thought like what excitement may happen if come here."
"Any new adventure you've come to since the last time you were here?" Anna asked as she smiled.
"A couple but I'll tell you later. Anyways, I've already met Kristoff and Sven. They also told me you were heading to find Olaf."
"He's not that far, but I know he'll be happy to see you." said Anna and the two starts walking together until she noticed Zor. "Hey, who's you little buddy?"
"This is Zor." she answered, and Zor chirped.
A moment not long by, the two reached to the pumpkin patch and spotted a familiar snowman. He was relaxing on a picnic blanket, enjoying the sun, but also there was no flurry cloud on top of him.
"Enjoying your new permafrost, Olaf?" Anna asked as she sat beside the snowman.
"I'm just living the dream, Anna. Oh, how I wish this could last forever." Olaf smiled as he looked at Anna but then gasped as he looked at Madison. "Maddie!"
"Hi Olaf." Madison spoke as she smiled and hugged him. "So good to see you."
"You are too." said the snowman until he spotted Zor. "Hello."
Zor chirped as he greeted him back.
"Zor this is Olaf. Olaf this is Zor."
The Bearded Dragon crawled on Madison's arm towards the snowman. He gave him a smile and Olaf chuckled.
"He is so cute!" he spoke until a fallen leaf came falling down and Olaf caught it. "And yet change mocks us with her beauty."
"Huh?" Madison spoke in confusion including Zor.
"What's that?" Anna questioned.
"Forgive me, maturity is making me poetic." said Olaf. "Tell me, you two are older and thus all-knowing. Do you two ever worry about the notion that, nothing is permanent?"
Anna, Madison, and Zor looked at each other and looked back at the snowman.
"Uh... no." Anna answered.
"I don't think so." said Madison.
"Really? Wow, I can't wait till I'm aged like you, so I don't have to worry about important things." said Olaf as he lied back down on the blanket including Anna as she laid beside him.
Madison thought of laying down with them, but the blanket looked a little small for three.
"That's not what I mean. I don't worry because... well, I have you, and Elsa, and Kristoff, and Sven, including Maddie and the gates are open wide and... And I'm not alone anymore." said Anna until she starts singing.
Anna: Yes, the wind blows a little bit colder
And we're all getting older
And the clouds are moving on with every autumn breeze
Peter Pumpkin just became fertilizer
Olaf: And my leaf's a little sadder and wiser
Anna: That's why I rely on certain certainties
Yes, some things never change
Like the feel of your hand in mine
Some things stay the same
Both: Like how we get along just fine
Anna: Like an old stone wall that'll never fall
Some things are always true
Some things never change
Like how I'm holdin' on tight to you
The three and Zor went back in town as they were walking around while Anna and Olaf singed their verse, but somewhere at the village, Kristoff and Sven were walking around while the ice man was still carrying the ring.
Kristoff: The leaves are already fallen
Sven, it feels like the future is callin'
(act as Sven) Are you tellin' me tonight you're gonna get down on one knee?
(singing) Yeah, but I'm really bad at planning these things out
Like candlelight and pulling of rings out
(act as Sven) Maybe you should leave all the romantic stuff to me
(singing) Yeah, some things never change
Like the love that I feel for her
Some things stay the same
Like how reindeers are easier
But if I commit and I go for it
I'll know what to say and do, right?
(act as Sven) Some things never change
(singing) Sven, the pressure is all on you
Madison, Anna, and Olaf joined up with Kristoff and Sven as the princess embraced the reindeer and Olaf jumped into Kristoff's arms while Madison and Zor chuckled to see the four until Madison was now looking at the castle.
At the palace, Queen Elsa entered the balcony, looking concerned but curious, but she also looked down at the village to see her people walking around and decorating. Mostly, she was looking at her sister with her friends, but as she spotted Madison, a surprised look appeared on her face and smiled.
Elsa: The winds are restless
Could that be why I'm hearing this call?
Is something coming?
I'm not sure I want things to change at all
These days are precious
Can't let them slip away
I can't freeze this moment
But I can still go out and seize this day
At the village, Madison and Zor looked at everyone as they were finished decorating for autumn. Even giggled to see Olaf throwing the fish back in the water that the fishermen caught, but as she and her Bearded Dragon walked with Anna, the princess stopped as a smile appeared on her face. Madison looked at her as she was looking at something, but as she looked at the direction, she saw Elsa. Anna quickly ran towards her sister and the two embraced. Madison stood beside Anna as she curtsied to the queen but to her surprise, Elsa was hugging her.
Villagers: Ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah...
The wind blows a little bit colder
Olaf: And you all look a little bit older
Anna: It's time to count our blessings
Anna and Kristoff: Beneath an autumn sky
Villagers: We'll always live in a kingdom of plenty
That stands for the good of the many
Elsa: And I promise you the flag of Arendelle will always fly
Anna: Our flag will always fly
Villagers: Our flag will always fly
Our flag will always fly
The Autumn Feast has already begun. Madison was enjoying the food and also looked at Elsa as she was making ice sculptures for the children. She smiled at the moment but then she notices some of the kids are looked at her. She gave them a smirk and waved her hand as magical sparkles came out of her fingertips. The children giggled and started chasing them around.
Villagers: Some things never change
Turn around and the time has flown
Some things stay the same
Though the future remains unknown
May our good luck last
May our past be past
Time's moving fast, it's true
Some things never change
Anna: And I'm holdin' on tight to you
Elsa: Holdin' on tight to you
Olaf: Holdin' on tight to you
Kristoff: Holdin' on tight to you
Anna: I'm holdin' on tight to you
The feast was now over as everyone were taking the decorations down and tables away. Everyone was heading home for the night, including Anna, Elsa, and her friends as they were heading to the castle. But the princess stopped to see Madison as she was heading towards a direction.
"Hey, Maddie. Where are you going?" she asked.
"To the inn. Thought I could rent a room for me and Zor to rest."
"No need. You can stay in the castle." Anna smiled.
"You don't need to do that."
"I insist. You are now a guest including your friend. Come on." said Anna as she grabbed her friend's hand and dragged her into castle while Zor was holding onto her shoulder.
