I don't own these characters; Disney/ABC does. I also don't own the guest star of this chapter.
A/N: a little more loving in this chapter, but even more fluff.
3: Fun in the Sun
Emma could not believe the little bungalow that she and Regina had for their stay at the Neverland resort. She had heard about these things, but to be inside of one was mind-blowing. She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the glass floor, staring directly into the water below them. There were so many fish in the pure cerulean waters. This seemed so decadent.
Teen me wouldn't believe I'm here right now. Usually, she would have meant that in a grander sense, but right now, she seriously meant that the teenage Emma would not be able to fathom one day she would be sitting in a private cabin on the luxurious, and expensive, resort island of Neverland. It was wild.
"I can't believe there's a glass floor," Emma said aloud by accident. Regina was asleep as far as she knew and she did not want to disturb her.
Then, she was in for a surprise. Regina pressed herself to Emma's bare back and kissed her shoulder. "I knew you'd love that. The fish have all your attention?"
"Not all." Emma turned her head for a proper kiss.
Regina wasted no time granting her request. She sighed at the feel of Regina's tongue against her own and lost herself in the comfortable sensation until Regina pulled away. Emma could not help the small smile on her face or the joy in her heart as she took in Regina's face. Her eyes drifted back to the glass floor and the fish right below them.
"But, this is very cool," Emma said. "Can we order room service? Is it even considered room service?" She glanced around. Yes, they were in a room, but the whole thing was something more and surreal. Would room service come to a private house away from the main hotel? She had no idea how this worked.
Regina gave her a smile and kissed her cheek. "We can order a lot of things and have them brought here with no one batting an eye, as it is Neverland, but food would be nice. If you're up for it, we can also order massages inside the cottage as well."
"Yeah?" That felt even more decadent than a glass floor showing off fish. This was a lot, but it felt good.
Regina rubbed her shoulders. "That's the tip of the iceberg. I'll let you see some of the other things that I'm sure will tempt you after we get settled in. You'll like it."
Emma nodded, even though she was certain some of it would freak her out. She really was not used to this, even when she was spending her monthly allowance hand over fist. "I'm really glad you and Snow talked me into spending the money for this place." It cost way more than any vacation ever should, but any amount of money would be worth it for her to show Regina a good time, especially for their honeymoon.
"You shouldn't be too proud to spend that money. You do know he doesn't care one way or the other. He never feels that. It's not even pocket change to him," Regina replied.
"I honestly can't fathom that." Emma's mind could not and maybe would never accept someone could give up ten grand a month and never feel it. "It's so much money."
Regina rubbed her shoulders and kissed the back of her neck. "He has billions, Emma. Thousands will never matter to him. It's seriously nothing to him."
Emma's brow furrowed and she turned a little. "I know I never ask about your family, but is that what you were thrown out of? Billions?" She really could not imagine that. It would explain why Regina could still make more money than Emma would see in a year and feel like it was not enough to live on.
Regina kissed her shoulder and chuckled a little. "Not billions, no, but more than enough money to never have to work or worry like I did when you met me. I like to imagine I would've been all right if I could at least use my education."
Emma reached up to caress Regina's cheek. "That means you actually got an economics degree for fun, like a nerd." She laughed. This might be the most absurd thing she knew about Regina and she loved it.
"Excuse me, but my accounting job funds our very domestic lifestyle."
Emma laughed more, pulling naked Regina into her lap. The look of annoyance made Emma have to pepper her face with kisses. "Damn, my deputy's check doesn't do anything?"
Regina turned away and puffed out her cheeks, as if trying so hard to be angry. "Have you looked at our household budget?"
"You know I haven't." And she never would.
Regina turned back, a sparkle in her eyes. "Which is why I'm going to lie to you right now and say your check does absolutely nothing for us." She actually grinned. She looked so youthful and light.
Emma could not help herself, she had to kiss her wife. Of course, Regina kissed her back. Emma rested her forehead against Regina's and smiled. "You would never seriously lie to me. One of the reasons I love you."
Regina stroked her cheek with her thumb. "Well, we both know I would never want to break your trust in me. Now, should I call for food while you explore the cabin a little bit?"
Emma surveyed Regina's naked body, very tempted to just slide her hand between Regina's legs and enjoy her once more. Regina probably had another round in her. Emma's cock twitched and Regina arched an eyebrow at her. That would not help matters.
"You know you're hungry. Should I call for food?" Regina asked again.
Emma really was hungry. She looked around the room to weigh her options. There was not much to explore. It was like a hotel suite, but over water, with a glass floor that led to a balcony that overlooked the water. Okay, no, she needed to look around this place. She needed to make sure they were not about to get thrown out, for what she had no idea. It just did not seem like she should be allowed some place like this.
"Yes, please. I'm gonna…" Emma moved Regina off of her lap, earning a pout from Regina.
Emma stood up and kissed the pout off of Regina's face. As she pulled away, Regina pulled her back for another kiss, which Emma did not resist. The caress of Regina's tongue was enough to have Emma ready to get back into bed. It took all of Emma's willpower to pull back. Regina snickered.
"Stop being a siren!" Emma tried to glare at Regina, but it was sort of impossible when she was staring at Regina's breasts as she did so.
A sexy smirk settled onto Regina's face as she laid back. "You're so easy."
With a grunt, Emma somehow managed to turn her head, eyes on the balcony door. Or maybe it was more like a porch. She was not sure how it worked. "Will I need a shirt if I step outside?" She was quite happily nude and wanted to stay that way.
"You shouldn't. Every cabin is far enough away from each other that you can't really make out the people who are in the other cabins."
"Cool." Emma yawned and stretched.
Regina scoffed. "Keep that up and you won't have to worry about going outside. You will get right back in this bed and fuck me again."
Emma chuckled. "You say that like it's a punishment, but all I hear is 'Emma, I love your big dick and superior stroke.'"
Regina rolled her eyes. "Oh, I see you write fiction in your spare time."
Emma pretended to glare at Regina. "My stroke is superior."
Regina smirked at her, but did not say anything, which was probably a favor to Emma. Emma let the banter die and stepped toward the outside area, making sure to avoid the coffee table between the bed and the wall-mounted television. There were sheer curtains between the glass door, as well as the floor to ceiling window next to the door.
Stepping outside, the air was warm and moist on her bare skin. It felt good. The sky was clear and an awning provided shade from the sun. The wooden deck was set over water that looked like liquid sapphire and turquoise. Stairs led right into the water, inviting her for a dip, provided the water was not too deep. I could probably handle it. But, that would have to wait.
She needed to refuel before wading around in the water. She scanned the rest of the patio. There were two wooden deck chairs pulled up close to "the railing." It was a single wooden beam set high enough that Emma was sure she could prop Regina on it and do all sorts of fun things. Definitely gonna do that later. Hmm… actually, gonna do that and in the deck chair. She giggled.
"Gonna do naughty things to my wife," Emma muttered as she turned to see more.
Tucked in the corner were two more chairs with a small dining table, encouragement to eat outside and enjoy the view. Beyond the beach, there were lush trees and huge hills. Neverland was supposedly great for hiking. Not that Emma did. But, Regina had to have some sort of outdoor plans for them because Regina was actually an outdoors person. Emma had sort of left all the honeymoon planning to Regina since Regina had been to Neverland before.
Regina had been light on the details about her trip (or trips) to Neverland, so it probably had to do with her old occupation. From her eagerness to go, the work trip had probably been bad. The longer a client bought Regina's time, usually the more sadistic they were to her. Taking her on vacation was probably just torture for her.
"Emma, food will be here in about a half hour," Regina called.
Emma gasped and her stomach growled. "I'll be dead by then!"
"I'm sure you will," this was said in the driest of tones. "You could always see if there's something in the fridge."
Usually, Emma would scoff at this. Why the hell would there be something worthwhile in the fridge of a place they only arrived at a few hours ago? But, Regina set this trip up, so that suggestion had all the elements of a surprise to it.
Emma came back inside, went from their bedroom, through the small lounge area, complete with sofa facing another wall-mounted television, and two armchairs facing the floor to ceiling window, to the kitchenette. There was a small stove and microwave. Cabinets above and below. A sink and the fridge. She opened it to find two six packs of her favorite beer waiting, complete with red bows tied around them. Next to them, chocolate covered pretzels with a red ribbon around the bag.
"Damn it, Regina." Emma sniffled.
Regina stepped over, clad in a small, black, silk robe that barely made it to her thigh. "You can't cry over beer and snacks after your performance this afternoon."
Emma embraced Regina without a second thought. "It's the thought. You think about me. You take care of me."
Regina smiled at her. "Your happiness is my second biggest priority." Henry would always come first for both of them. "So, I want to cater to you as best I can."
Tears still stung her eyes. "So far, you've gone above and beyond."
Regina actually chirped. "Good. you deserve all of this and more after putting up with me."
"You're easy to put up with." Emma gave her another squeeze and then released her.
Regina kissed Emma softly and then Emma turned her attention back to the fridge. Next to the pretzels were a box of chocolate pecan clusters with a bow on them as well. She would share those with Regina.
Emma grabbed a beer and the pretzels. Regina was gone from sight again, so probably in the bedroom. The bedroom was empty, but Emma spotted Regina outside in one of the deck chairs. Emma grabbed her t-shirt, even though she did not need it, slipped it on, and then joined Regina outside, sitting in the opposite chair.
Emma put her beer down on the floor and secured her pretzels against her side. When she looked back up, she had a lap full of her wife. She smiled as Regina settled against her.
"Is this all right?" Regina asked.
"I will never not want you cuddled against me." Emma wrapped her arms around Regina's waist to secure her in place. "If I ever have a problem with this, have me checked for brain injuries immediately."
"If I stop wanting to use you as a pillow, check me for the same."
Emma laughed, but it turned into a sigh. "Really?"
"Really." Regina leaned against her, resting her head on Emma's shoulder. This was perfect, Regina's weight against her. Of course, she had to ruin the moment.
"You're really going to chance me getting crumbs on you?" Emma grinned.
"If it means I get to lay on you, yes. Besides, I know you wouldn't dare." Regina cut her eyes up at Emma and glared at her.
Emma chuckled, but Regina was right. She made sure to eat the pretzels, so any crumbs might fall on the deck. Regina was so still, she might have fallen asleep on Emma and Emma would never know. She would not mind either. She would stay in this spot, with Regina wrapped in total comfort, until Regina needed to move.
They existed in silence and beauty until their food arrived. Regina was kind enough to retrieve the cart since she was a little more appropriately dressed. Of course, not much more, and Emma admired her legs as she walked off. She also enjoyed watching Regina come back in, directly where the cart could be left. There was something about watching Regina direct people that made Emma's body tingle.
Emma grinned at the sight of her hamburger on the cart as Regina checked over the food to make sure the orders were right more than likely. Regina knew her so well and did not judge her over it. Yes, she was in paradise with her lovely wife with all sorts of expensive and exotic things to eat and she just wanted a hamburger to start out with.
They relocated to the outside chairs with the real table. Emma was about to step over, but Regina put a hand up to stop her. Regina had the table dressed with a red table cloth, then had their meals put down, a red rose between them, and a small bottle of wine, even though Emma had her beer. Then, they were alone. Emma opened the wine and poured them both glasses.
"So, what are our plans for our week in paradise?" Emma asked as she sat down in front of her rather juicy looking burger.
Regina settled across from her. "Well, for tonight I thought we'd just explore the resort. Have a late dinner. Maybe go to a club."
A spark went through Emma. "A club? I'd get to watch you dance?" It was a treat she had not seen nearly enough in life as far as she was concerned.
Regina smirked. "Maybe even dance with me if you play your cards right."
Emma chuckled. "That's a lot of pressure to not mess up."
"I have faith in you." Regina picked up her fork to start in on her creamy garlic shrimp pasta. It smelled heavenly. Emma might have to talk her into sharing.
"Okay." Emma bit into her burger and was not surprised it was the best hamburger she had ever tasted. Gonna make sure I have another one of these before I leave. "And what about the rest of the week?"
"I did my best to plan around the unfortunate fact that you can't swim. I am still taking you out on a jet ski, but please don't drown, as that would ruin the trip for at least a day." Regina took a forkful of food in her mouth and made a sound that made Emma twitch. She ignored that for the moment.
Emma grinned. "I can't make any promises, but I'll do my best to not drown."
"Very good. I figured you'd want to see the jungle, so we've got an ATV ride through there."
Emma gasped and had to put her burger down out of fear she might drop it. "Please tell me they'll let me drive the ATV!"
Regina rolled her eyes. "If you want to, yes. You just have to sign a waiver. This place costs too much money to tell you no."
Emma laughed, banging on the table. "I knew it! I knew you could just buy permission for stuff."
Regina smiled at her. "I think the world knows that, but likes to pretend all the same rules apply to everyone."
Yeah, Emma knew better than that. They toasted their marriage and ate. Regina shared some of her food without Emma needing to ask. The shrimp tasted as good as it looked. The way Regina looked at her as she held the fork to Emma's mouth was even better. She could see the love so clearly in Regina's eyes. They ended up back in one lounge chair and their hands wandered some.

Regina and Emma walked hand in hand down the faux-torch lit paved road. They had their late dinner at one of the resort restaurants and now they were on their way to one of the many dance clubs. Regina was eager to put on a show for Emma. She had gone as far as wearing just a red bikini with a sheer, yellow sarong, even though she had no plans of swimming.
Of course, Emma had seen Regina dance before, mostly in the condo and usually when Regina thought she was alone. Storybrooke did not offer much of a nightlife and Emma was never really in the mood to drive to the city at night. That was fine. Neither of them missed the nightlife.
Up the pathway, multicolored lights from the club flashed and the rhythm of steel drums hummed through the air. Regina's hips moved on their own the second she heard the cords of an acoustic guitar. Emma grinned at her and pulled her closer, hands on Regina's hips.
"The sounds of your homeland just get to you, huh?" Emma said. She was dressed much more comfortably than Regina, a simple yellow tank top and terrycloth shorts that barely went mid-thigh.
Regina chuckled. "The guitar does remind me of my father. I didn't spend nearly enough time in his homeland, but he played the guitar. And, I may know some of the more traditional dances from there."
Emma's eyebrows jumped up. "Oh, maybe I want to see those."
"I think those will be for another time." Regina kissed Emma's cheek. She might even teach Emma. She had plans to teach Henry.
The club was both inside and outside with a patio area that had a view of the dance floor. They found a table for two out on the patio, looking out onto the beach. Drinks were ordered and sipped.
"Does it bother you that I want to watch you dance?" Emma asked.
Regina laughed. She loved that Emma liked to check in with her, but she never really needed to. "I wouldn't have offered if it did. At some point, you have to accept you're different from my former clients."
Emma smiled. "No, I get that. After all, totally your wife." She held up her wedding band with a goofy grin on her face. "I just don't want you to do something for me because I'll like it, but it's something your clients would've asked for."
"Emma, I actually want you to ask for almost everything my clients did, so you can replace the memories of them." It was nice to look back on some kinks and fetishes and be able to smile because of Emma rather than shudder because of some asshole client.
Emma tilted her head. "You sure?"
"Dancing, knowing you're watching me and wanting me, will never be a bad thing. I want my wife to lust after me."
"And I promise you I do."
"And maybe I want to see that hunger in your eyes."
"Oh, you will."
"So, I'm going to enjoy the music and maybe some company." That last part came out more as a question, almost asking for permission. Regina was not sure how Emma would feel watching her dance with someone else.
Emma nodded. "Maybe I could join you eventually."
"I'd like that." Guess they would both find out how Emma felt about her dancing with someone else first. Hell, even how she felt about dancing with someone else.
Regina climbed to her feet and made her way to the dance floor. She made sure Emma could see her and she could see Emma before she let loose. Her hips caught the beat immediately and her body wound to the rhythm. Emma watched her like a hawk.
It took Regina mere moments to realize, even if Emma did not mind her dancing with someone, she did. A man appeared against her back and her skin immediately crawled. In the past, she would have ignored the feeling, fought it down, and then buried it without a second thought. But, she did not have to do that anymore. She was not being paid for the night, or paid for at all. This was for her own pleasure.
She moved away from the man and glared at him with enough force to back him up. He wisely went to find another partner. She resumed dancing, watching Emma watch her for a moment before getting lost in the music. Eventually, she chose a partner of her own, who looked like he might be doing the same thing as her. He had on an open, white linen shirt, showing off great, tanned abs, and the smallest black swim thong she had ever seen. He kept glancing over in the corner. She had to ask.
"Which one is yours?" Regina said as his hands ghosted across her hips. One of the other reasons she chose to dance with him was because he had not actually touched her, just created the illusion for the dance.
"Cutie guy all curled up at the bar, looking so adorable, but also frightened. You?" he countered.
"Beautiful blonde on the patio, grinning like an idiot. Should we give them a real show?"
"Anything to get that man out of his seat. He's so shy and doesn't need to be."
Regina chuckled, but they both turned it up to eleven just for their partners. Several people on the dance floor with them stopped and stared. The live band got louder and the music got a little faster. She got put into a spin and then her dance partner was gone. When she turned, Emma stood before her.
"I asked if I could cut in and he was gracious enough to let me." Emma gave a sheepish smile and jabbed her thumb behind her.
Regina looked over Emma's shoulder to see her dance partner gently tugging his boyfriend out onto the dance floor. He grinned at her and she smiled back. She turned her attention to Emma and swayed her hips without a word.
Emma fell right into step and pressed Regina close to her with a hand around her waist. Regina would never be able to describe or even fully understand the sense of security Emma's presence gave her. The world fell away wherever and whenever she felt Emma and whatever problems she could have had vanished. All she needed to focus on was Emma.
"You having fun?" Emma asked and then kissed the side of Regina's neck, causing shivers.
"You know I am. Did you like watching?" Regina turned her head enough to steal a peck from Emma's lips.
"Yeah, you move like a liquid. It's kinda mesmerizing. Definitely a turn on."
Regina yanked Emma against her. "I know. You don't think I feel you poking me. Ready to leave?"
"Soon." Emma wound against her. "I'm enjoying this too much."
"I promise you're never enjoying anything with me too much."
"I know." Emma kissed her neck again.
And so they danced in the humid night for quite a while. Emma glowed as sweat gathered on her forehead. She looked ethereal.
"Ready to go now?" Regina asked.
Emma only nodded and they made their way back to their cabin. They kissed as soon as they crossed the threshold. They took their time, like time did not exist, enjoying each other's mouths, caresses, and warmth. Each touch felt like love and grace and salvation.
They started in bed, but ended up outside on a deck chair. Regina had gone to watch the night sky while Emma recovered and Emma found her there. Suddenly, the bed was too far and they needed to be close at that very moment.
The deck chair barely made a sound as Regina moved on top of Emma and Emma peppered her spine with kisses. Reverse cowgirl was hardly Regina's favorite position, as she adored looking at Emma as they made love, but Emma insisted. She wanted Regina to see the stars beaming down on them as they moved as one. Regina could hardly concentrate on the night sky as Emma moved inside of her, filled her, making her feel like all the universe was made just for them.
Emma whined, having some trouble thrusting up with the way they were in the chair. The broken rhythm did not bother Regina, but the way Emma nipped her neck and whimpered into her flesh told her she needed to make this better for Emma. Regina offered her another comfort, moving Emma's hands from her waist to her breasts. Emma whined as she squeezed and Regina moaned, motivated to move with more energy. Emma growled.
"I love you, I love you, I love you," Emma chanted into Regina's shoulder blade. "I love you bathed in fucking moonlight, fucking me like it's a dream come true."
Regina moaned as Emma twitched inside of her. "I love you, too. You looked so good dancing with me." She moaned.
Emma dragged her teeth down Regina's shoulder. "You looked amazing, flowing, calling me like a beacon."
Regina loved when Emma tried to get poetic. "Maybe I am a siren."
"I know it." Emma grunted, shifting a little to get a proper push in. "I would happily drown trying to get to you." She squeezed Regina's breasts, making her really see stars.
Regina moaned and slipped her hand between her legs, rubbing her clit. Emma moaned in her ear and pinched both nipples. Emma had taught her to enjoy attention on her nipples and she exploded from the pleasure given to her by loving hands.
Emma kissed the back of her ear. "That sounded the way it felt."
Regina blinked, not realizing she had blanked out. "Huh?"
"You screamed and I creamed." Emma snickered.
"You're awful."
"That's not what that orgasm just said."
"You sound like a woman who doesn't want to go another round, possibly in the shower."
"If we go guardrail and then shower, I promise to shut all the way up."
Regina laughed, but granted Emma's request. Of course, Emma did not shut up, but Regina did not mind. They fell asleep in each other's arms as the sun crawled into the sky.
-8-8-8-8-
Emma was surprised how Regina worked around the fact that she did not know how to swim to still make sure they had plenty to do at the beach resort. First off, they did the ATV thing and Emma managed to not die, which was a win. Regina was less impressed, but it was a great story to tell Henry on one of their calls home.
Another highlight was jet skiing. Emma was a little leery at first. She did not trust a simple life jacket being able to save her if she fell off, but it worked, which was good as she fell off the jet ski several times. Thankfully the guy controlling the jet ski was a professional. She had been rather excited to tell Henry about that in one of their daily calls. Regina laughed in the background, but Henry wanted to know all about it and wanted to know if he could do that if he went with them next time.
"Yes, we'll do it with you next time," Regina promised him.
Emma looked at her. They would do this again? As a family? It was almost too much for Emma's brain. When they got off the phone with Henry, Emma could not help kissing Regina.
They took a trip on a glass bottom boat that went up river from the lagoon. There were several stops along the way, one of which involved tasting local alcoholic beverages. Emma was not sure how they did not end up drunk, even with the small glasses used for the tastings. Emma bought a couple of bottles of Neverland spicy wine; one for David and another for herself. There was also a shop full of local sweets, so she had a bag of candy and alcohol.
"Never have I seen someone's personality represented so well in two bags," Regina said.
"Keep being mean to me and you won't get any candy," Emma replied with a grin.
Of course, Regina laughed, and of course Emma shared her candy on the way back. How could she not? She was on the perfect honeymoon with her gorgeous wife. This was like some grand dream.
Beyond the excursions, they laid around on the beach for a couple of days. The first day, after some time in the water, Regina read… or pretended to while Emma played a few rounds of beach volleyball. The way Regina yanked her to a dark corner for a quickie when she was done was more than she could bear. They ended up back at the cabin not too much later.
Emma tried some edibles, even after Regina warned her that Neverland was known for their strong cannabis, which was why Emma wanted to try them in the first place. She was pretty much useless for the rest of the day, beyond eating and feeling on Regina anyway, so Regina took her down to the beach for a while and they just laid on a beach chair in the sun. When they went back to the bungalow, Regina ordered them massages. Day well spent if anyone asked her.
As they flew back home, Emma rested her head on Regina's shoulder and sighed. "I hate to admit, it was money well spent."
"It's your money, Emma. Use it to be happy when you can. You don't owe him a damn thing." Regina kissed the side of her head. Emma was not sure if she would ever feel that way, but if she could use the money on occasion for things like this, she would not mind.
"Can't wait to do this again, but with Henry," Emma said with a yawn.
Regina kissed the top of her head. "We can do this every year as a family vacation if you'd like. They have other resorts."
Emma nodded and that was the last thing she heard. She fell asleep with her head on Regina's shoulder, dreaming of family vacations. Life was good.

Next time: they try to settle into their domestic married life.
