Ch27 - I'll Be Your Mirror

So my parents are under a sleeping curse, except with a slight twist; when one wakes up, the other falls asleep. Fear ran through me, when I discovered that they had been cursed.

This is all my fault, if I had have been honest about my visions from the start; this probably wouldn't have happened. So my dad is currently under the curse, because he woke my mom up; Regina sighed softly, as she magicked us all back to the loft.

When we reappeared in the loft, my dads sleeping form was already on the bed; my heart clenching, as my mom sat on the bed. She then grabbed his hand as she spoke.

"Hey Charming, remember when I said; I wanted things back to normal? Well look at us now" she sighed, before continuing. "Maybe, this is our normal"

This wasn't normal, none of this was normal; there was absolutely nothing normal, about your former stepmom's evil half seeking revenge by cursing you.

My blood was near boiling point, as; all I wanted to do was hunt down the Evil Queen and end her. But before I could say anything, Regina spoke.

"This is all my fault, I can't let them suffer for it"

Her fault? She couldn't have predicted this, when she separated herself from the Evil Queen; she couldn't have known, that she would come back to life and curse my parents.

She moved to leave, I ran ahead of her; while speaking.

"Regina, where the hell are you going?"

I moved to block her from walking out, as she spoke again.

"To stop, the Queen; I can hurt her, I'm the only one who can hurt her...anything that happens to me, will happen to her"

Nope! Not happening, I spoke; barely above a whisper.

"No, I am not letting you sacrifice yourself"

She glared at me, before answering.

"I'm not asking for permission"

I tried to stay calm, as I spoke; while pulling the vision card, as I did.

"Did you forget, what's about to happen to me? I have a death sentence"

She stared at me, before she spoke.

"You can fight, that future Emma; I know you, you will fight it"

Seriously? I can't fight it, why can't anyone understand that? I clenched my teeth, as I spoke again; this time frustration seeping into my tone, as I did.

"That doesn't mean, I will win; and the only thing, that makes that bearable is knowing that Henry will still have you. I can't be there, so you have to be; you know I'm right. We have to find another way, to defeat her"

She sighed, but before she could say anything; my mom came out of her bedroom, speaking as she did.

"Okay" We walked over to her, and that's when I noticed she was holding something; it looked like a note, she continued. "That's enough despair for one day, I'm going to wake him up; if you would please, give this to him"

She handed the note to Henry, who answered. "Of course" She then turned back towards the bed, we all moved towards the room; as she got comfortable, she leaned down towards my dad.

She moved in to kiss him, before stopping; why did she stop? She glanced at the mirror, a look of terror crossed her features; Killian spoke.

"Are you ok, love?"

My mom shook her head, before speaking. "No..." She got up, before grabbing a candle stick; she raised her voice, as she spoke again. "She's watching us!" That's when the candle stick left her grip, as she launched it at the mirror.

As it smashed, I gasped; the sound of broken glass, making me jump slightly. So now what? The Evil Queen, can use mirrors to see what's going on?

Well that's just great, my mom sighed; before settling back onto the bed, before leaning down to kiss my dad.

Once she did, she fell asleep; and my dad woke up, he looked at us before sitting up, he glanced at my mom's sleeping form. Sighing softly, as he placed his hand on her arm.

Henry spoke, as he handed him the note.

"Grandma wanted me to give this to you, it will explain everything"

My dad nodded, unfolding it before reading it; he sighed as he did, he then folded it up again. He got up off the bed, his gaze drifted to the candle stick; that was on the ground, he then looked up at the mirror.

He then spoke, his tone laced with confusion; as he did.

"What the hell happened?"

I sighed, before speaking.

"The Evil Queen happened"

He tilted his head, while looking perplexed; he spoke again.

"Where is she?"

Regina answered.

"She's not here, she was using a spell; she was using the mirror to watch us"

My dad spoke again, still sounding confused as he did.

"That still doesn't explain why the mirror is smashed"

I sighed, before speaking again.

"Mom leant down to wake you up, but before she could; she stopped, before grabbing something. She then said "she's watching us" before throwing the candle stick at the mirror"

He nodded, before speaking.

"Remind me to cover the rest of the mirrors"

He went to speak, but before he could say anything;

I laughed at that, before hugging him; he placed his hand on the back of my head, as he pulled me further into the hug...
